Well, you've read the notes, you wore pant whilst reading the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they don't wear pants, except for one darling cow who was wearing a pant, a pair of jeans. Or should that be a pair of jean?
-
And the word of the day is: VAINGLORIOUS!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
They could be called trousers or slacks also...
or is that trouser and slack... hmmm??
-
a conundrum indeed!
-
...Why did I ever buy him those damn long pants??
-
jsut be glad they were shortpants or lederhosen!
-
;D
-
Okay, I just had kind of a Twilight Zone moment. I searched the line "Why did I ever buy him those damn long pants" on Google to make sure that it was "damn long pants" and not "damned long pants" (it's "damn long") and one of the links was to http://www.sondheim.com/community/ which is a community board very much like ours (Mr. Mark Bakalor had a hand in creating that, also). Anyway, one of the posters on the specific page that I linked to had the screenname "George" and when I went to his profile there, he was also 40 years old! What a coinkydink! ;) (But, I have a lot more posts here on HHW than he does on FTC...Finishing the Chat).
-
you should google mine...
-
you might be surprised... I have raised ruckus on several boards...
-
Why does that not surprise me?? ::)
;D
-
And with that, I must go to sleep...after I clear the hallway of boxes.
Good night, DakotaCelt!
-
I do try to be angelic!!
Pleasant dreams GEorge... I am going to go and hit the sack also!
-
Something tells me pants is short for pantaloons, articles of clothing quite familiar to all of us here at HWW. You wear one pantaloon on your right leg, and another pantaloon on your left leg. If you have another leg in the middle, finding a dance partner can be an iffy affair (a Mason William's "The Last Great Waltz" reference).
My favorite pair of pants are, of course, Bonnie Bell Begonia and Buster Beauregard Begonia, our two blond pups.
-
And the word of the day is: VAINGLORIOUS!
"We here at the at the Cafe Tres Chic," proclaimed the VAINGLORIOUS Chef Maurice (typically referring to himself in the plural), "never dress our salads with a mere vinaigrette! No, no, we use a blend of seven different vinagers, with a dollop of mustard and freshly picked herbs, SAVING OUR OIL to coat the plates themselves. It is not our fault if those foolish waiters let the plates slip from their fingers nine times out of ten!"
-
Good morning, all! Another afternoon band rehearsal. Tomorrow, the cast joins us, so I need to get today's rehearsal as solid as possible. The 3-piece band has a lot of wonderful moments and too many bad ones that I have to repair within the next two days. Our excellent keyboard player, Masae, is Japanese and loves musicals; she's just signed a contract to spend four months on a cruise ship, but she wants to play in a Broadway pit. I adore her enthusiasm. Our drummer, Chris, is a great guy, also full of energy and enthusiasm for the piece. They've spent a good deal of time programming and working on their music. The two of them are great assets to the show.
I love the score, heavily influenced by the sound of Mancini, Bacharach, Francis Lai, and I'm happy that the some of the orchestration sounds like a 1960s French film.
DR DerBrucer, Palemale and mate are the subjects of a book, REDTAILS IN LOVE. I believe they currently reside on Cetral Park West.
DR Cillaliz, the ohmigod was a loving one, caustic, but most definitely affectionate!
TOD: exotic places? Newark? Atlantic City?
-
Oh, I can beat that, Elmore!
Fresno!
Cincinnati!
And I was born and raised in BURBANK!!!
-
Good morning all!
-
How about Seffner? :)
-
Well, our fridge gave up the ghost yesterday. Sigh. I had to clean the whole thing out last night. I'll go and look for another one tonight.
In Sheena and Bear news--Bear has worms so I have to take both him and Sheena to the vet tomorrow night for a check and deworming. Exciting huh?
-
Not much else to going on. It's all the same old. Mom refuses to go to the doctor after what that stupid doctor pulled.
I just hope she holds on until they have their enrollment change in November but it won't take effect until January. I want to get her on an open plan so I can take her to whatever doctor we want to go to, not those crappy JSA doctors.
Well, the good news is that we're still here. :)
-
Well, I gotta fly now. Have a good day all!
-
DR Danise, it's always a treat to see you! I miss you lots.
-
Good morning!
Beautiful day and much cooler than we've had. It's not supposed to get out of the 70s for our high today, so that makes me very happy.
-
I saw THE RECRUIT on HBO-HD a couple of years ago. Very predictable and not very good. I do like Colin Farrell in some things, and in other things I think he's dreadfully miscast. I do think he does a great American accent. To hear him speak with his native Irish brogue is very surprising after watching him in many movies where he plays an American.
-
I have an unpredictable day today. My ex-partner and I are spending some time together today while his car is being worked on. We'll do lunch, and he mentioned maybe going to see HOLLYWOODLAND. However, the movie's start time is fairly late, and I'm guessing we won't end upgoing to that film.
So, I may be E&T or not for this afternoon's posting. At this stage of the morning, I don't know what's going to happen.
-
I did record VANISHED and MEDIUM last night for viewing today.
There is also a new episode of HOUSE tonight (remember the 8 p.m. start time) and a preview on ABC of Anne Heche's new series MEN IN TREES (its regular time slot is Friday at 9). DOesn't sound like something that would interest me, and I'll probably opt for NIP/TUCK tonight instead.
-
TOD: A friend and I decided to splurge and try the Tapis Rouge tent at Cirque du Soleil when it was on Randall's Island. It was a surreal experience, as far as I'm concerned, with all sorts of oddball decor, fascinating foodstuffs, etc. Quite exotic.
-
Useless observation: "Fascinating foodstuffs" can be sung to the tune of "Fascinatin' rhythm."
-
Does this take us to page Two?
-
Friend will be arriving momentarily, so I need to log off and get ready to leave on my excursion.
WBBL (but I don't know how much later!)
-
Dear Esteemed, panted, mee'd, and arid BK --
The best good morning to the lovely west-coast Living Room. Congratulations on your Theremin find. I used to have a good friend in the Bay area who had become fairly proficient in the playing of the unusual instrument. Unfortunately, he is no longer alive.
I'm sure there are a lot of names in the Local 47 book of possible players.

DRGEORGE - bring on the empty boxes.
DR CILLALIZ - nice NEW avatar
Dog vibes, Doctor vibes, and Insurance vibes for DR DANISE.
DR VIXMOM - your 9/11 story was most frightening.....thanks for sharing it.
So DR TCB was doing THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER and I was doing THE ODD COUPLE that week..... You would think it was 1969, NOT 2001!
-
Stephen Sondheim was in my mailbox today
After rehearsal tonight, I will give him a play.
Not on a turntable, even if I were able
The CD will spin when I put it in
My lovely little AR CEE AAY.
-
Paul Lynde once said that wearing a pant would be indecent exposure.
-
This morning I went for a walk, and this is whooo saw me:
-
Today is the primary election. Almost all the phone calls lately have been tape recordings telling me how to vote, and our city is trashed with campaign posters. I will be so glad when today is over.
-
Word origin of Pant:
Word History: One would not expect a word for a modern article of clothing to come ultimately from the name of a 4th-century Roman Catholic saint, but that is the case with the word pants. It can be traced back to Pantaleon, the patron saint of Venice. He became so closely associated with the inhabitants of that city that the Venetians were popularly known as Pantaloni. Consequently, among the commedia dell'arte's stock characters the representative Venetian (a stereotypically wealthy but miserly merchant) was called Pantalone, or Pantalon in French. In the mid-17th century the French came to identify him with one particular style of trousers, a style which became known as pantaloons in English. Pantaloons was later applied to another style that came into fashion in the late 18th century, tight-fitting garments that had begun to replace knee breeches. After that pantaloons was used to refer to trousers in general. The abbreviation of pantaloons to pants met with some resistance at first; it was considered vulgar and, as Oliver Wendell Holmes put it, “a word not made for gentlemen, but ‘gents.’” First found in the writings of Edgar Allan Poe in 1840, pants has replaced the “gentleman's word” in English and has lost all obvious connection to Saint Pantaleon.
-
FWIW - My brother, who used to own a mens clothing store says a one legged man would wear a pant and a two legged man would wear pants
-
Some 5-years-afterthoughts:
I'm would be willing to mourn the loss of innocents abroad if, in fact, the circumstances of their demise also rid the world of those who perpetrate terror in the name of a god.
Just one swift, irrevocable, act...
-
Sorry....but that's the passing thought of the moment.
Sue me.
-
Good morning, good day, how are you this beautiful day? I am groggy this beautiful day, but am trying to ungroggify so I can jog prior to the Joan Ryan meeting.
-
Is it only Tuesday?
Tuesday used to mean Red Skelton and Petticoat Junction....
-
Interesting DR CILLA LIZ.....who knew? Not me!
-
Tuesday greetings! I was awakened between 5 and 5:30am by a thunderstorm, which lasted until after my alarm went off. It's been raining very hard here ever since. Definitely a lunch-at-my-desk day.
-
Ah, lunch!
THERE's a nice thought.
Wonder what it will be for me today???!!!
Hmmmmm.....
-
Useless observation: "Fascinating foodstuffs" can be sung to the tune of "Fascinatin' rhythm."
Not as easily, though. ::) "Foodstuffs" doesn't trip off the tongue the way "rhythm" does. ;)
-
A movie that gets better each time I see it:
Kenneth Branagh's "Henry V"

Must agree with this....also enjoy the CD of the soundtrack! ;D

DearReaderLaura, loved the hoot owl!

Interesting DR CILLA LIZ.....who knew? Not me!
Me either, I went to Dictionary.com

By the way, for those who are interested...and you know who you are...Disney's THE HARDY BOYS is being released on DVD December 19. I know this will make some DRs very happy indeed...alas, still no ANNETTE, which is the release I am waiting for. But, I guess it can't always be about me, can it. >:(

Back from a jog and shall now be on my way to meet with Miss Joan Ryan.
-
TOTD: Probably not "exotic," more like "scary/interesting," but due to my late father's rank, when we visited Berchtesgaden (sp?), we stayed in the VIP headquarters, which just happened to be Albert Speer's former home. We had a rather palatial mansion to ourselves for several days. I found no skeletons in the many closets, though I half expected to. :)
-
Patricia Dunn was driving HP into the ground anyway....my guess is that she will walk away with a seven figure settlement.....
-
Lovely owl from DRLAURA.
I have the first SPIN & MARTY dvd release....and THE HARDY BOYS is much anticipated!!!
Yes, DR MBARNUM....we are anxiously awaiting ANNETTE, THE SERIAL....but we will probably have SPIN & MARTY TWO before that. Annette and Darlene were featured in the S/M episodes that should be up next.
-
DR MBARNUM....there are 3 cd's on their way to you.
-
Never been anyplace exotic, unless Busch Gardens in FLA counts.
-
....and I've never been to me.
-
Page three dance. :o

Kenneth Branagh's "Henry V"
Un-Oh - Woody adores that film; we have it on LaserDisk and have just retrieved it from the downstairs boxes (George is not the only one with boxes!)

This morning I went for a walk, and this is whooo saw me:
you see those in Fargo every once in a while also... Thanks for sharing Laura...
-
Thanks for sharing the info on pants Cilla. I did not know either.

I also like Henry V. However, Branagh will never be as good as Olivier or Gielgud when doing Shakespeare...
Me? Picky? NAH!!!!

:o Disney filmed lesbian S&M episodes?? ??? Who'da thunk it?
[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%] ;) ;D ;) ;D ;) ;D ;) ;D [/move]
I hope I didn't offend anyone with that joke.
-
Hmmm Pant could be used else where when one is writing...
Windedness after exercising and you want to show that...
Looking at pictures of your favorite actors / actresses (in case of the gentlemen on the board). Some still pant! or look adoringly!

Darlene was especially into it...Annette - not so much. 8)

Both looking great in leather teddys and stilettos!

DR MBARNUM....there are 3 cd's on their way to you.
Woohoo! I am in need of some fresh music!

Just came from a 2-hour departmental meeting :P
Fortunately we only have them 4 times a year.
-
Back from the Joan meeting and am awaiting the phoner with my publisher.
-
Der Brucer wants to see the matinee of The Illusionist.
We've already voted in the Delaware primaries.
The weather is beautiful here in Rehoboth.
Time to get going. Later.
-
TOD: The most exotic places I've been are Indiana, Illinois, and Kansas, where we ate Jell-o.
-
Der Brucer wants to see the matinee of The Illusionist.
I think you'll enjoy it. I did.
-
And tonight has the finale of BIG BROTHER. And the 2nd to last show of ROCKSTAR SUPERNOVA. And also the premiere of DANCING WITH THE STARS (2 hours).
I think the anne heche show (men in trees) actually sounds quite interesting. So i will watch it for sure.
-
I went to Puerto Rico once. I was working in a Red Cross shelter doing child care after Hurricane Hugo. The cook from the local restaurant cooked for us, as the small town we were in was very appreciative of our work.
We ate rice and beans, rice and beans and chicken, and rice and beans and shrimp. And platanos, cooked several different ways.
-
Attended a wonderful performance of ELEGIES last night. So I'm sitting there at the end, tears running down my face, disappointed that the evening is over -- and I turn to the friend I went with, a bright, funny, sensitive woman who's not in the biz, but has been around it all her working life. And she says, "Boy, it's a mistake to have no intermission. Some of those songs were just too LONG!" And that was her opinion of the show.
...I guess you can go to the same party and have very different times.
-
Add me to the list looking forward to the eventual release of ANNETTE. It was always my favorite serial ever on THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB. The two SPIN & MARTYs came next followed by THE HARDY BOYS.
I liked Darlene but I did NOT like CORKY AND WHITE SHADOW.
-
I think Branagh's HENRY V is every bit the equal of Olivier's though they're very different in look and tone.
I played that laserdisc of Branagh's HENRY V many times but retired it when I got the DVD.
-
And wasn't it Paul Wylie who did one of his greatest programs to the music from Branagh's HENRY V. I think so!
-
Had a wonderful lunch today with ex-partner Frank. Had much to talk about since we're both auditioning for roles in AMADEUS next week.
-
Then we went to see HOLLYWOODLAND. I enjoyed the film, but for me, the story of Adrian Brody's unhappy family life was intrusive and irritating. The George Reeves mystery is so compelling that it didn't need that frame of unhappiness surrounding the already unhappy life and times of George Reeves.
Another opinion: Ben Affleck was too young for the part. Even with grayed hair and letting his stomach pooch out, he didn't look 35, much less 45. His acting was fine, but he just wasn't quite beefy enough and definitely not old enough.
-
So, since I was gone all afternoon, I didn't have a chance to see anything that I recorded last night. Should be able to get at least one of the shows watched before HOUSE comes on tonight.
-
As for the TOD - I guess my hometown - Budapest - is considered an exotic place. What did I do while I was there? - Be born and start growing up. My favorite Hungarian food is not really Hungarian: Wiener Schnitzel. Yum! I also like Palacsinta - which is a kind of crępe. There's one called Gundel Palacsinta (named after the famous Gundel restaurant) which is to die for. That's a crępe stuffed with ground walnuts, lemon rind and raisins, covered in an obscenely rich rum and chocolate sauce. May I once again say YUM!
-
Off to clean the living room now and then will fire up the TV, for the first time today!
-
I think the anne heche show (men in trees) actually sounds quite interesting. So i will watch it for sure.
The reviews in the newspaper today were very good.
-
TOD- I had a roommate in college from Costa Rica. I went home with her for a couple weeks during semester break. I think the forest at Glacier Bay in Alaska was actually more exotic - rain forest with moss hanging down etc. It was like walking in another world
-
Exotic dance.....how about a page 4 belly dance
-
Time to pack up and go home. Laters gaters
-
So-o-o-o-o busy today.
Lots of busy work...this, that and t'other.
Got some new DVDs:
Moonlighting Season 4
Smallville Season 5
Star Wars & The Empire Strikes Back -- original theatrical versions (pre-improvements).
-
I won't pant, don't ask me...
-
Exotic places:
What is "exotic"?
Mombasa, Kenya was exotic to me. I spent a day there. Ate nothing (afraid to eat from street vendors and all restaurants were closed until evening).
Singapore was exotic...had western-style food in posh hotel. I'd been at sea for several months and was yearning for something tasty and familiar.
Dubai, U.A.E., was very exotic to me. I bought gold, frankincense and myrrh...the gold was jewelry, the rest was the actual "residue" crystals that are frankincense and myrrh.
I also bought a 2-kilo bag of salted and lemon-juiced pistachios. BEST pistachios I ever had.
-
Hi, sorry to just pop in, post & leave. I might have had time to stay & visit last night except we were out to dinner with Penny and her friend Bill. It was a beautiful evening for eating along the creek at our local Thai restaurant. We had a very nice evening. Penny & Bill gave us some delicious fresh picked grapes to bring home.
This morning was my yearly pot-luck lunch with my book group, another beautiful day for a garden meeting & luncheon.
I will try & return this evening.
Cillaliz, please email me the story behind your lovely happy new avitar.
-
TPunk-I hope you had a great day at your new/old job.
-
As with DR RLP - mmm what is exotic?
for me: Prague
the Azores
New Zealand
Hong Kong - the New Territories
Chistobel - Panama
Lancaster County!
New York
Quebec
Tahiti
It's the "different" - cultural differences, smells, sounds, foods, languages, accents as well as the geography, vegetation, etc.
-
I just got back from my rehearsal: too far down and a real schlep. On the positive side, the band is doing better, and we did read through the entire score. Tomorrow night at 8, we meet the cast. A day later, we open. So much for a low-budget festival! I think it will go well.
-
We're back from watching (and listening to) The Illusionist. Magnificent film, from beginning to end.
Two top-rank performances, from Norton and Giamatti, combined with two very good supporting performances by Biel and Sewell. Interesting script and direction by Neil Burger (who seems to have come from nowhere). And Philip Glass' score was spot on - not something I'd want to listen to seperate from the film, but perfect with the film.
-
TOD -
Exotic? The entire tour of Germany that der B and I took years ago (bookended by two theater binges in London). Berlin, Munich, Cologne and Frankfurt (both very briefly), and Amsterdam (which really isn't Germany, but was part of our tour).
-
And wasn't it Paul Wylie who did one of his greatest programs to the music from Branagh's HENRY V. I think so!
Wylie skated to an Olympic Silver Medal by using Patrick Doyle's music for "Henry V". Specifically the piece was mostly the "St. Crispin's Day" speech, with an edit of the "Falstaff" theme mixed in.
-
Well, it's going to be channel flipping tonight. I want to see the end of Big Brother. Of course there is always tons of filler I don't care about in the final show so I will also be flipping over to Dancing with the Stars. Tucker Carlson and Jerry Springer dancing...this I gotta see
-
Tucker Carlson and Jerry Springer dancing...this I gotta see
They're dancing together?? I'll be watching, too!
;)

They're dancing together?? I'll be watching, too!

You just never know...tune in and find out!
-
Der B has mentioned having lots of shows to tape or watch tonight. I have no idea as to whether or not I'll want to watch even one.
Oh, wait, EUReKA is on, that's usually good. And if he tapes it while he watches something else, I'll just watch it in the kitchen...
...And give him all sorts of spoilers after. ;D
Tomorrow should be very interesting, since he's already got six shows on his list, and we're also scheduled to head over to take care of the grandlads and visit their school, to find out what is up for this year. Magic Mommy has announced she can't be bothered with some of the extra after-school stuff, because she's sure it will amount to more work for her. My hunch is, we'll have to stay late after the school meetings arguing with her, which means a very late dinner for us.
-
Thank you BK. A Kritzerland recording arrived today.
-
Waiting for me when I arrived home from work: 2 Sondheim CDs (one is a gift) and a Spirtas DVD! I have to drive to Columbus tomorrow afternoon and now have something new to listen to in the car!
TOD - Zion National Park, where one of the hiking trails took us underneath and behind a waterfall. I loved being at the base of the canyons and seeing the rocks change color as the sun changed position throughout the day. We stayed in a lovely place called Flanigan's Inn (http://www.flanigans.com) and ate exquisite meals in their cafe (http://www.flanigans.com/dining_2.html). It was just an overnight stop on our first "See the USA" family vacation 10 years ago, but someplace where I've always wanted to spend a longer period of time.
-
What a day! I'm all in and must sit on my couch like so much fish. Had to ship out quite a few more packages, finished proofing Cissy's book, and did a ton of other stuff.
-
So DR TCB was doing THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER and I was doing THE ODD COUPLE that week..... You would think it was 1969, NOT 2001!
My favorite DINNER comment, "You were sooo much better than Nathan Lane!"
-
Sure is quiet around here at HHW tonight...
-
A movie that gets better each time I see it:
Kenneth Branagh's "Henry V"
If you watch it again, will it be "Henry VI?"
-
This time next week we shall be somewhere over the Pacific.
-
Lovely owl from DRLAURA.
Annette? And Darlene? Were in S/M episodes?
-
Reminder - NY address is c/o Milford Plaza.
-
Annette would sing "Don't Jump To Conclusions".
-
I've been packing for an overnight tomorrow in Columbus. Sometimes I think it's just as complicated to go away for a night as it is for a week. Tomorrow will be a long day - into work at 9, get a noontime program started, drive to Columbus, and be ready to co-present at 3:30. Vibes, please, for no traffic jams on eastbound I-70!
The rest of the conference (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068271/) should be pretty relaxing for me - socializing with co-workers tomorrow evening and attending other people's presentations on Thursday.
-
Dakota Celt... I love an American in Paris. I have ridden a Llama, a Camel and an elephant
-
Reminder - NY address is c/o Milford Plaza.
DR WFO and I watched them film the long playing commercial for the Milford Plaza many many years ago...
"Milford Plaza is the lullaby of Old Broadwaaaaaaaay!"
(I think it was after we had gone to a preview of Nine)
-
Page five DANCE!!!!!!
-
NO Traffic vibes for Ginny!!
-
NO Traffic vibes for Ginny!!
Thanks, DR Vixmom! So, when are you going to visit Columbus?
-
Ginny my parents are driving out this weekend along with my sister-in-law's parents to visit my brother and his wife and the kids in their new OHIO home
-
I dunno when I will be able to make the trip, having just changed jobs I am now low mann on the totem pole for vacation time....
-
My most exoctic vacation must have been my trip to Hawaii when I was a single lady... that was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been
-
Our family trip to Banth and Jasper was also a wonderful exoctic trip with icefields, glaciers, mountians, beautiful blueglacial lakes and enormous fir and aspen forests
-
The Grand Canyon was also an amazing and glorious site... and yes I guess exotic!
-
I also found New Orleans exotic, in the sense that it was like no other place I'd ever been before.
-
Hmmm...exotic? Well, like Ron, I would say that Singapore was exotic, as was Taiwan (everything they sold there was marked "Made in USA")
Personally, I thought the Falkland Islands were rather exotic. And if you want to talk about exotic, as in scary, I would have to say Cartagena, Colombia.
As for foodstuffs, I am not very adventurous!
[/size]
-
Yes, it seems to be a slow news day here at haineshisway.com.
-
I do like Branagh's Henry V... in fact (prepare for blasphemy)
I think I prefer it to Olivier's...
I didn't care for his Hamlet as much, I found changing the time period to the 19th century distracting
I was suprised to discover I really enjoyed Mel Gibson's Hamlet, I watched it prepared to scoff....Glenn Close was especially effective as Gertrude....
My favorite Branagh Shakespearan fling however is Much Ado About Nothing which I consider to be a practically perfect movie. I can watch over and over, and the final sequence, that long 15 minute one take shot is astounding.
-
Well off to do some laundery and then to bed... later gators!!!
-
Well off to do some laundery and then to bed... later gators!!!
No laundry for me - just going to bed!
'night!
-
I am tiiiiiired.
-
I'm watching Men in Trees. It's pretty cute. I actually may watch this one. Reminds me of Northern Exposure, but then it is city person out of place in Alaska
-
I am very happy. Tomorrow is an office day and I do love office days.
-
Seems to be very quiet around here tonight
-
In my house we've had the Kitty 500 - cats chasing around the house full throttle, pouncing and throttling each other and then running again.
-
Are they playing? Or fighting?
-
Yes, DR TCB, Darlene and Annette were in the second SPIN & MARTY serial.
-
I had a very full evening of TV viewing. I started with MEDIUM from last night.
This was the episode that featured an elaborate "other Life" for Allison with David James Elliott (be still, my beating heart) as her husband. Now, I love Jake Weber, too, and he certainly seems a more compatible fit to Allison than Elliott's somewhat disinterested husband. But, my what a fine figure of a man!
During a promo for MEDIUM, NBC announced its new season as "coming soon."
-
Next came VANISHED with ever-more twists and turns in who the characters really are, what they're really up to, and new suspicions cast on other characters. I'm liking the show a lot, but it IS hard to get everything sorted back in my mind at the start of each new episode.
This is one of those times when watching episodes on DVD, one after another, will probably make keeping everything in this series more easily compartmentalized.
-
HOUSE had another astonishingly bizarre case; riveting TV.
-
Saw the season finale of LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT. Jamey Sheridan's last episode. They gave him a bit of a bow to the audience.
No such final bow for Courtney B. Vance who also leaves the show after this episode. I'm not sure his leaving was amicable.
-
Finished the evening with NIP/TUCK. My goodness! What a lot of plots going on covering everything from scientology to flat chests. Quite a show!

This time next week we shall be somewhere over the Pacific.
Tomovoz, I forgot that you're spending some time in Seattle! What are your plans/ schedule/ itinerary for this area? :)
-
Are they playing? Or fighting?
They're playing. They get a little too rowdy now and then so I break them up, but I don't have to do it too often anymore
-
Did anyone watch Dancing with the Stars? I really got a kick out of it. It's never great until it starts to narrow down a little, but it was fun to watch
-
Okay, Tucker Carlson and natural grace do not go together (I'm watching "Dancing With the Stars"). But he looked like he was just there to have a great time...even when the judges were ripping him to shreds. He certainly wasn't taking it too seriously. Good for him! ;)
-
Cillaliz, we both posted about "Dancing With the Stars" only three seconds apart! What a coinkydink!!

BB FINALE SORT OF SPOILER
I'm very disgusted about the winner of BB. He is a pig and the way he treated Erika just can't be excused. I don't say that very often about anyone, but he really made me sick. His excuse was the editing, which I may give him a little on that, but what he did to her was brutal. He's disgusting...
-
I don't think you can really post a spoiler about DWS, we won't really know anything until tomorrow night.
-
Not surprised about the outcome of BB. Didn't watch because I had already predicted that person would win. Couldn't stand him the first time he was on, and time hasn't been kinder to him. Yuck!
-
How about a page 6 Jerry Springer/Tucker Carlson fox trot!
-
Off to bed now.
Good night!
-
I think Jerry Springer (last to dance) could be this seasons George Hamilton. He's not a good dancer, but he put on a fun show and he'll get votes because of it.
-
If you vote at the DWS website, you can cast 11 votes for free. That's pretty crazy
-
Well, I'm off to get some sleep. Night all....
-
Glad to hear the girls are finally getting along!
-
Well, earlier tonight, my real estate agent called me and said that the seller wants to sell!! In other words, she's willing to fix the things that I asked to have fixed! ;D Now, I don't know the exact details, but it all looks good. Evidently, the seller's agent faxed the official acceptance form to my agent's house instead of her place of work, and she won't be home until tomorrow night. Now, all that's left is for the lender to show me the money (which they better)!! ;)
-
Is he too cute or what!
-
Is he the one Jane!!!!????
-
Aww, he's too cute!
-
Jane, he's adorable!! ;D
-
What a slow news day we are having.
