Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both nice and annoying, and now it is time for you to post until the nice and annoying cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: HESTERNAL!
-
Welcome three GUESTS. Who are you people?
-
Will we never get to page two?
-
TOTD:
Bobby McFerrin "Paper music"
French Cast - "CABARET Le Musical De Broadway" (2006)
"Songs of New York" (Book of the Month Club) - with some orchestrations by Dr Elmore.
-
DVDs of this week:
Connie & Carla
Dances With Wolves
Bon Voyage (French Film 2003)
-
Where in tarnation IS everyone? You'd think it was 12:31 or something.
-
Welcome six GUESTS. Get off your ample BUTT CHEEKS and post something.
-
In my DVD player: "Shock to the System" with Chad Allen, Sebastian Spence and Morgan Fairchild. After that will be "The Handmaid's Tale" with Natasha Richardson, Aidan Quinn, Faye Dunaway and Robert Duvall. I got this second movie from the library at the beginning of last month(!) and haven't watched it yet. ::) I also have "Doctor Who - Season 2."
-
As for CDs, I have several at work and will find out what they are when I go back there in the morning.
-
And now that I've posted, I'm going to bed. Good night, BK...and all you guests out there in the dark. ;)
-
How nice, and yet annoying, that I am yet again the only one on this here board.
-
Back from work -- tonight was a fairly nice yet annoying night -- there was this pyramid scheme presentation. Some ridiculous music download site, a la Napster or iTunes, called "BurnLounge." Basically, one pays $400 and you can download music onto your page, and people can come to your page and download off of your page the music you've downloaded previously and you see a percentage of that money. So...ultimately you never make any money and the guys in charge rake in the dough of stupid, stupid, stupid Earthlings-I mean, PEOPLE.
Then we opened up the club to people to dance and there was a woman in her late 30's/early 40's who proceeded to hit on each of us security guards as well as one of the bartenders. It was sad really.
-
But hey, it's a job -- and I got quite a few laughs out of it!
-
Tracks are up on the Brain's myspace!
-
The partay is in about 16 hours and 30 minutes...
-
TOD:
In the CD player -- (car) 24: Seasons 4 & 5 soundtrack
(home) Avenue Q
In the DVD player -- nothing...
-
La di da -- uploading pictures for the Brain's page now...
-
Dead as a doornail around here...
-
Okay -- I am off to bed...
-
Congrats to MR BK on 25.000 entertaining posts.
Wasn't Hesternal the girl that Demi Moore played in her movie THE SCARLET LETTER?
-
David Shire - okay I am convinced. I didn't know ALL of his scores. I am from Indiana, after all.
However, I do remember the TV movie and music from one of my favorite Tv movies EVER - Something for Joey.
-
Work today. Bleh.
TOD:
DVD - Move Over Darling
"What bumbling nicompoop declared this perfectly healthy young woman dead?"
"You did, Your Honor."
"I did? Strike my last remark from the record."
-
VCR: Curse of the Undead with Mr Michael Pate and Mr Eric Fleming
CD: Fifties Rock - some early songs I hadn't heard for Many Years!
-
Off to work.
-
Not sure what m7y media watch will be today, or the weekend.
-
Went to my first hockey game in at least 15 years or longer last night.
It is such a fun game to watch as you never know what will happen next.
I just think there are too many teams out there and talent is spread thin.
Gone are the days of the super teams with many star players. Now a team is lucky to have one or two.
-
BK:
IS THE David Shire CD as the same as the Bay Cities release?
There is a lot to recommend on it especially as you said The Maureen McGovern tracks and the Return to Oz Suite.
Are you going to include the article you wrote about the Oz?
I include it below
Return To Oz was one of the most critically lambasted movies in recent memory. In addition, audiences stayed away in droves. If one queried people at the time, the answer was usually that they thought the movie too dark and scary for children. Of course, these same people were plunking down their tykes to watch faces implode and bloodily melt away in Raiders Of The Lost Ark and its sequel.
Even now when you ask people about Return To Oz they invariably say "Oh, that awful movie!" or some such phrase, but the fact is they usually say that without actually having seen the movie. This is all very unfortunate as Return To Oz is a mostly wonderful picture - well directed (Walter Murch, with an uncredited assist from Coppola and Lucas)-beautifully photographed (David Watkins) and unforgettably scored (David Shire). The one thing it is not, however, is The Wizard of Oz.
Given the unbelievable popularity of The Wizard it was probably a no-win situation for Disney...They were damned no matter what approach they took. No matter that Return to Oz is a lot closer in spirit to the books of L. Frank Baum...People expected to see a movie that would transport them back to the halcyon days of MGM, 3-strip Technicolor, little Judy and the Munchkins and instead they got something a little darker and more subdued. And certainly the film does lack humor.
But it is very entertaining, filled with vivid performances of Fairuza Balk as Dorothy, Jean Marsh as Mombi (and various heads) Nicol Williamson as Doctor Worley and the Nome King and Piper Laurie as Aunt Em. There is a haunting quality to much of the film, and some of the images, especially the opening shot of Dorothy lying in bed unable to sleep, stay with you long after the end credits.
Hopefully someday people will discover the movie, and enjoy it for the fine film it is.

Good Morning Michael.
I'm listening to Maltby & Shire's Closer Than Ever - Song by Song
Not sure what else is in the hopper for this weekend.
I needs must return to those pesky printouts.
Later, gaters.
-
I hope, and I pray, for a HESTERNAL win just one more "A".
-
BK--I was hoping you might show some of The Brain DVD at the par-tay. Had you mentioned it, I could have Fex-Exed you the revised Act I with better audio. After working on it over the past month, I am happy that the cast will get to see some of it. And I'm sure it will be a festival and noisy affair, so they audio probably won't be an issue.

I Need Vibes, DRs!
Good morning, all! I don't know if it's the round with Macbeth, fear of flying, or something waiting for me back in New York, but I woke this morning with great anxiety and fear of getting out of bed. Liza Minnelli did not, thankfully, call me last night in my dreams, although I did dream that I was in London with the MARY POPPINS cast(!!!) and had become separated from my friend Loyce Martin and could not locate her.
I am now off to post two cartons, do some banking, sign and pay for my dad's 2006 IRS return.
TOD: I have nada here, but I do look forward to using my VCR when I get back to NYC!
-
In honor of tonight's party, we should post our favorite Brain lyrics. I'll start:
Find out if they're kinky, or what they really thinkee
Earth, you'll soon be handing your keys to me
As a young brain I didn't have issues
Just a brain with some lovely brain tissues
-
CD: Fifties Rock - some early songs I hadn't heard for Many Years!
After listening mainly to classical music for many years, I listened a while back to some old '50's rock and was amazed at how much I enjoyed it. I guess I'd gotten to thinking of classical as superior--a sort of musical chauvinism--then saw how wrong I'd been. I really love some of that old music!
Has anyone else had this sort of experience?

Peaceful travel vibes for our dear Elmo. The anxiety is natural, once a lot of the busy work is done. You will be one of the beloved stars of this here partay tonight, Larry.

Good morning!
Another very pretty day here. I have my errands to run later, and it will be a pleasure getting them done in the spring-like weather we're having today.
-
I agree about RETURN TO OZ. It's a very interesting film and disturbingly enjoyable. I read THE LAND OF OZ and some of the other sequels so many years before I saw the film, but it certainly seemed to have some of the ideas from those books incorporated into the movie.
-
Friday Media Check:
CD - THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X (OCR)

Season finales of MONK and PSYCH tonight; no new episodes until this summer.
Most other shows on the networks also have new episodes on tonight. I'll probably be giving GHOST WHISPERER another try, too.

I'm up, I'm up. Was on the phone at seven with Mitsubishi (in India) at seven, troubleshooting. We unplugged the TV, we took out the lamp, we shook the lamp, we put the lamp back in, we screwed everything back in, we plugged in the TV - the green light blinked then went solid, we turned on the TV - nada. Nothing. Black. The green light went back to red. We did a system reset. The green light blinked, then went solid. We turned on the TV. Nada. Nothing. Black. The gentleman from India told me to call GE, since they handle my extended warranty and would have to have someone come out and troubleshoot further. I did. I got someone on the phone at GE (in India). He has set an appointment for tomorrow between 1 and 5 and they will hopefully be able to bring a new lamp, just in case the lamp is the problem. Thank goodness I bought the extended warranty, as this part of it doesn't cost anything, and if it's the lamp that is now covered under warranty for ninety days. The saga continues. Shortly I shall go over to Von's to order food.
-
No booze at the partay - school, you know. If they have enough notice (like a month) they can sometimes clear it so we can have wine, but we'll just have an array of other things.
-
I got someone on the phone at GE (in India). He has set an appointment for tomorrow between 1 and 5
Wow, he's going to making some pretty good time to get there by tomorrow afternoon! :)
-
Sorry you're having such trouble with the lamp, bk. They are meant to be replaced easily (one of the bonuses of having a DLP-style rear projection TV).
Did you notice if the lamp's serial number was the same as the one you replaced? I just wondered if maybe someone didn't send you the lamp for a newer model that they assumed would be compatible and wasn't.

Last night's "American Idol":
SPOILERS?
Paul Kim WAS featured during audition/Hollywood...I remember him very clearly...much more so than most of the guys, including some backstory. So that rather quashes the certainty that the first to go are always those with no previous exposure. I also remember both girls from auditions.
Also, there was QUITE the announcement about Fantasia being signed to STAR in "The Color Purple" -- that was the Broadway announcement.
I think it was made quite clear that the women fared far better with the judges this week than did the men. At least five, possibly six, women got mostly positive remarks, whereas only two men did.
-
I'm on my way to Von's, hoping that the deli people are in early, which I'd think they'd have to be.

Good Morning!
I'm up, I'm up...
And I'm trying to figure out my itinerary for the next couple of days... To Richmond or not to Richmond? To Fairfax or not to Fairfax? To stay in NYC or not to stay in NYC? There are one or two things I still need to take care of down South, but none of them are pressing. So... And with the possibility of more wintry weather on Sunday - which I was planning on being my travel day - well... We shall see.

DR elmore - ~~~~GOOD VIBES TO YOU!~~~~
Maybe some of my "vibes of indecision" had wafted their way to Ohio this morning. So, you can blame me.
;)

As for "AI"...
Ditto what DR Ron Pulliam posted.
-
As for the Topic of the Day... The Friday Media Check...
Radio - WQXR
-
Well, that was fast...
I just saw the new ad for "Oprah Winfrey Presents: The Color Purple... Starring Fantasia"
-And it's actually not a bad ad. Part interview (with Fantasia), part sound bite (with Fantasia singing). No wonder it was all an open secret here. There's no way this could have all been put together overnight. And, from what I've read, Oprah will be doing a show next week with Fantasia and her upcoming stint in The Color Purple.
If anything, it's nice to know the producers are taking their time with this "stunt casting".
-
Thanks for the vibes, DRs! DR RonPulliam, I loved the various marquees. They were wonderful!
I've now accomplished all I can, and I'm in the midst of packing. Around 3, my brothers, our attorney, and a land developer have a meeting about dad's approximate 3.6 acres of land we're selling.
We'll listen, consider the offer, I will sign a few forms for the attorney, and my beloved brother Randy will drive me to the Dayton airport. I may need to buy a book since I'll have around a 3-4-hour wait for the plane, which departs around 8:05 PM EST. I hope to be back in my own space around 11:00.
Keep those vibes coming!
-
Back from Von's - even though they like to have 24 hours for these platters, they could not have been nicer and everything will be ready for me at four-thirty. Two huge platters of meat and cheese, condiments, cole slaw, potato salad, desserts (cheesecake), breads - all I have to do is go back later and get the drinks. I may actually do that sooner than later, just to get it done.
-
I think I actually meant to do it while I was there. I've also cleaned out the trunk of my motor car so there's room for all this stuff.
-
Chunks of cheese and meat?
PAR-TAY!
-

Never hurts to ask when you check in.

David Shire - okay I am convinced. I didn't know ALL of his scores. I am from Indiana, after all.
However, I do remember the TV movie and music from one of my favorite Tv movies EVER - Something for Joey.
I went to Amazon.com to read some reviews for the movie "Return to Oz" and found that there are some wonderful mentions of David Shire's music:
"...listen to the amazing score composed by David Shire, full of life, brilliance, and haunting motifs (the opening credit sequence alone gives chills)."
"...and the David Shire score is one of the most beautiful film scores ever written--period."
"The underrated score by David Shire is nothing short of magnificent and one of the best."
"David Shire's beautiful score in this movie is arguably one of the best scores of the 80's."
"And the score by David Shire is one of the underacclaimed glories of motion picture music."
"The music score by David Shire is my favorite film soundtrack, mixing Prokofiev-like themes with ragtime, true to the turn-of-the-century setting of the story."
;D
-
And now, to work (after a shower...and the putting on of clothes). :)
-
BTW, I find THE YOUNG PEOPLE'S CONCERTS absolutely fascinating. Berntein does his best to give the kids in the audience--and they really are kids--examples they can relate to. Then, of course, he refers to a given piece of music, "Debussy's ...You know it, don't you?" These kids would need to be very precocious indeed to know all the music he assumes they know! But the lectures are wonderful. You certainly don't need to be a kid! Thank you to all who recommended this series. It's a delight.
-
Vibes for DR ELMORE.

Happens to me all the time DR JEANNE.
Was it DR MATTHEW last week who was talking about "Shopping from your shelves?"
Oh, yes: shopping from your shelves. If it's clothes we're talking about, every time I think I don't have enough to wear, all I have to do is revisit the recesses of my closet--or, alternately, do the laundry!
-
Party vibes for those lucky enough to attend...even if you are in your 30's or early 40's!

BTW, I find THE YOUNG PEOPLE'S CONCERTS absolutely fascinating.
I used to love this when I was a kid. I'll have to check it out again!
-
Jose: I've ordered especially beautiful weather for your visit here.
-
The "learn to cope" lyric came just a week before we opened. I had a dummy lyric there for the longest time for Cason - I should let him tell you what it was, but it had the word "gay" in it about six times.
-
Back from Von's with a car-full of liquid refreshment, paper plates, cups, eating utensils and napkins. I think I got enough drink - five two-litre bottles each of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and thirty bottles of water. I would think that would be plenty even if there are seventy people, no?
-
Much fun for the CD party tonight! Give Laurie and Diana hugs from me if they are there!
-
I am trying to decide where to stay in LA in April as I will be arriving, I think, a few days before the Ray Courts Show begins that Friday. I think I will stay on the Hollywood side since most of what I want to do and see is on that side of town (The Egyptian theater is having a big ole film noir festival...lots of vintage double features from the late 40s and 50s)....and maybe I will get to Japantown this time.
-
Vibes to Larry, as always!

Skip's new computer came today, which was nice.
And now it's turning out there are things that were used on the old computer that aren't compatible with the new computer, which is not so nice.

DR FJL - Well, if you need some help...
Did you get a new Mac or did you go PC?
-
And if you did just get a new Mac, most of the software and hardware companies along with Apple should have the proper updated drivers available online if you made the switch from a non-Intel-based Mac to an Intel-based Mac.
Additionally, if it is a new Mac, you also have the phone support option to turn to.
-
Thanks for the all the weather forecasts and "requests" (DR edisaurus). I'm still waiting on a few things to fall into place - or not - over the next couple of days, so, come Monday I should have a better idea of what and when and where I need to be before I head down to Atlanta.
-
I went for a walk today and this is what I saw (behind my house)
-
I will miss those huge, magnificent oak trees. There are almost a hundred down where the woods used to be:
-
It is indeed a new Mac. Soemthing about a "board" for digital recording that fit the old computer but doesn't fit the new one. I don't pretend to understand.
-
Oh i didn't know that thing with fantasia was new news. I'm pretty sure i read it days ago. I guess i was fastforwarding through her part. Because i did not here the announcement. Although i did hear the announcement about which celebs/singers would be part of future shows.
-
RE: those eliminated from IDOL
I know we've seen all their auditions now. But i truly do not remember seeing any of the eliminated contestants have any type of backstory. They may have been shown briefly during a group number. But I really don't remember them being focused on at all during auditions (i may be wrong).
Whereas melinda and lakisha were given big time stories. Not that it would have mattered since they are the most talented.
I will say this. It can happen that somebody not featured can do well. It's not typical IMO but people like stephanie and sabrina, who have very strong powerful voices will probably stay on for a while (even though i barely remember seeing either of them before).
-
Friday morning greetings! Today I'm going to a fundraising luncheon at the
Dayton International Peace Museum (http://www.daytonpeacemuseum.org)
That looks like a wonderful place. I would like to go there the next time I go up to visit family. What a worthy thing to be involved in.
Ron Pulliam, I found the statistics you posted yesterday very enlightening---and very depressing!

The news about Fantasia going into The Color Purple has been "heavily rumored" for a while. It's been unofficially announced for the past couple of weeks - including on Playbill.com, etc.
Last night's "AI" was the chosen venue for the official announcement. That's all. Not "new news", or "surprise"... Just "official".

I think it's a matter of which part of the early auditions you remember the most. The ones you liked the most.
Some of the "featured" people were not featured until the Hollywood week rounds. Some were featured during the local auditions, but then not at all during Hollywood week. And, yes, there were five "totally out of the blue" finalists.
I think it's best not to try to figure out what exactly the producers have been trying to do.
Just watch and vote.

I'm very fond of:
What a world
It's so big and so round
Look at me
Being deep and profound
-
Will we never get to page six?
-
And we all have them whether we want them or not (myspace pages).
-
It's only eleven and I feel like I've done a full day's work. Now playing: Dave Grusin's Cinemagic album - wonderful.
-
And...
Sort of like "Grease...", it's interesting how many "professionals" there are among this season's finalists. Melinda Doolittle and Brandon Rogers were/are both back-up singers for some major artists. And even one of the "out of the blue" finalists, Sabrina Sloan, was in the national tour of Hairspray for a while. -I think she may have even been on the road at the same time as "Grease"-er, Austin Miller. Or not.
-
I've been loking around for a site for us to create an Oscar pool like we did last year, but I haven't found a good one yet. I went through creating a pool at www.awardshowfantasyleague.com, but they only list the top ten or so Oscar categories to vote on. The site DR Jose set up last year, EW.com, only has individual pools this year. Any ideas out there?

edisaurus - just request to be a friend - it's over there on the left towards the top of the page.
I've just done it...try it! You'll like it! Everyone's doing it! You know you want to. ;)
;D

I noticed that for some reason this week on the Canadian channels TAR is on monday at 9pm (this channel carries the oscars) and they are promoting HEROES sunday at 10pm (they are carrying the new show on monday night). Their promo is "see heroes first!".
I think i will probably watch the oscars (i'm assuming CBS is carrying TAR on sunday) and tape TAR and watch it that night.

If you Google "Lakisha Jones, youtube", you can find a couple of songs by her in a competiton in 2005 in Houston. She does both "Think" and "I Am Telling You". She lost out to a female country singer (go figure...in Texas!).

OH!
I was just about to do this... The sweepstakes/ballots are being handled directly by The Oscars/ABC this year, so...
If you go to www.oscars.com, just click on The Sweepstakes link, then to Predict the Winners. Or just click below:
http://predict.oscar.go.com/predict/frontpage
I've gone ahead and started the group: HainesHisWay. -And, yes, the motto is "What is it, fish?".
The password is: benjamin
*You will need to register with abc.com, but just make sure to check/uncheck all the "marketing email" boxes as you desire. But if you were a part of this last year, you log-in and password should still be active.
-
There also seems to a neat Find the 79s (https://register.go.com/abc/oscars/findthe79s/index) contest this year too.
-
That looks like a wonderful place. I would like to go there the next time I go up to visit family. What a worthy thing to be involved in.
Ron Pulliam, I found the statistics you posted yesterday very enlightening---and very depressing!
I was inspired by some diatribe or other I read on the "traitors" who speak out against "THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES" who claim rights of citizenship.
Freedom of speech doesn't mean much to people bent on supporting jackasses, it seems.
At any rate, it dawned on me that many people who continue to support Bush no matter what seem not to realize that more lives and money have been lost in this war than was lost in the 9/11 attack....and none of it truly has anything to do with the attack on the World Trade Center (RIP), since Iraq was NOT the attacker.
It's all a smokescreen that many Americans are all-too-willing to accept in the name of conservative values. Never mind that we've lost tremendous international standing, we've embarrassed many of our allies, and we've totally enraged millions of arabs we've never pretended to try to understand (and have historically done much harm against).
Whenever will someone NOT clueless come into power?
-
Well, since I'm not really in the mood to get anything done here around the apartment right now... -However, I did finish up my laundry this morning... I believe I'm going to head out for a bit and stretch my legs.
Laters...

edisaurus - just request to be a friend - it's over there on the left towards the top of the page.
I requested. Depending on if Cason likes how his performance was edited, maybe he will add me!
I've been a member for awhile when we were trying to get our film off the ground, but so far I haven't used it much. The last time I visited it was in November.
Maybe I'll see if you'll let me be your friend, too.

edisaurus, can you replace the opening music on the DVD with the CD intro - all the way through the theremin playing, which is much better on the CD? Or is that something I do here?
I can do it. I already burned Act I and it happens in real time so I will change it for the locked version. I am not working in Atlanta today so I will dub Act II Monday night and send them off together at the do-it-yourself post office.
-
I now have a Brain for a friend! ;D
-
YIKES!
Just watching the Noon News... And they're showing some footage from a Taco Bell restaurant down in Greenwich Village... It was like a scene from "The Nutcracker".
Ewwwwwwww!!!!!!!
OMG!!!!!
I just saw this video on line. According to the news report, this restaurant was open yesterday!
If you REALLY want to watch this video
Click Here (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070223/ap_on_re_us/restaurant_rats;_ylt=Anib9WpXWPVlNUtyN4UYGolI2ocA)
then scroll down on the left and click "Play Video" You have two choices. You have been warned!
-
I looked at Ben's video link, and then saw this story, which was even more disturbing to dog lovers:
http://snipurl.com/dogcoat
-
I'm in the mood for a nice RAT TACO!
-
I went for a walk today and this is what I saw (behind my house)
UGH!! There should be a law against this--one that is upheld.
-
Well, you can't say that restaurant doesn't give a rat's ass ;)
-
There are now three rave reviews of THE BRAIN on CDbaby.com, and another one posted and waiting to appear.
-
Hello.
I have to go now.
Good bye.
-
From yesterday....
-
Edisaurus, your picutres made me want to cry.
-
I was very happy to have my favorite hiking hat back. You can tell my hands were cold after rolling in the snow. ;D
-
I haven't read the posts yet but I suspect I don't want to look at the stories or links about taco bell & dogs.
-
I attempted to register for myspace.com but every time I did it said I was ineligible....shot down already and I didn't even try to become anybody's friend yet! :-[
-
No, Jane, you don't want to look at the Taco Bell link. The dog story is pretty disgusting also.
-
That dog is huge!
-
BK, I think I had better finish your short stories before I go to LA in April, huh.
-
The "learn to cope" lyric came just a week before we opened. I had a dummy lyric there for the longest time for Cason - I should let him tell you what it was, but it had the word "gay" in it about six times.
The first lyric was "I'm so gay, I'm so gay, I'm so gay, I'm so gay...I'll cope," much to the amusement of all of the Brain cast members.
-
I went to the Brain MySpace page and was going to post a comment, but it said:
You must be someone's friend to make comments about them.
SINCE WHEN??? LOL
Can I be a brain friend?
If you've got a myspace page, then of course you can be a friend of the Brain! I'll okay it! :)
-
Sherlock looks perfectly in his element, as a mountain dog should! How fun it must be to romp with him in the snow!
We're having t-shirt weather here, all the better to take a stroll and puruse the devestation.
There have been so many animals and birds displaced that my yard has about 3 times the amount of wildlife and I'm going through food for them like crazy. I saw 3 different pairs of squirrels mating. They must think that the world is coming to an end and they are doing their best to repopulate. I've even seen them in some "non-traditional" positions!
But we don't NEED any more squirrels!
-
Another side effect---I now have a raccoon living in the space between my house roof and the porch roof. It's pretty large and noisy, which makes the cats crazy!
-
If you've got a myspace page, then of course you can be a friend of the Brain! I'll okay it! :)
I'll make sure there are plenty of closeups of Zubrick. Hope you get to see the rough cut of Act I before you have to go to work!
-
I meant to post this last night and forgot about it.
I was reading the review in VARIETY of the Michael York CAMELOT, and I was simply appalled to see that my favorite song in the score - "I Loved You Once in Silence" - has been dropped from this production. Gone also was Mordred's "Seven Dealy Virtues," and I guess "Fie on Goodness" has been gone for decades, but I really was surprised about "Silence."
-
DR Jane, I know you're a tiny lady, but Sherlock looks ENORMOUS in those marvelous photos. Is he still growing?
-
I began my afternoon viewing with last night's SCRUBS. As silly and funny as usual, interesting that surgeons forget a lot of their medical training because they concentrate on their specialty. Never thought about it, but I guess it does make sense.
-
Next, I watched (or rather endured) PEPE. How tragic that Shirley Jones was so ill-used, only one song in this 159 minute version (though she does get to take part in two dance numbers).
And those two dance numbers, especially the rumble between Michael Callan and Matt Mattox are really the best things about the production. I watched the rumble twice just because they are such expert dancers.
Michael Callan died much too young. I loved his sitcom OCCASIONAL WIFE and was very disappointed when it only ran one season.
-
Next I watched 30 ROCK which had a very funny show with Jane Krakowski having some very funny bubbleheaded-blonde moments making faux pas all over the place. Tracy Morgan was also funny for a chance, and Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin had a wonderful running storyline with his negotiations with a comic on the show who wanted a raise.
-
For DR Laura and those of us who don't partake of as much media as others---
Friday bird inventory:
Cardinal
White throated sparrow
House sparrow
White-breasted nuthatch
Chickadee
Mourning dove
Titmouse
Rufous-sided towhee
House finch
Goldfinch (not gold yet)
Mockingbird
Flicker
Blue Jay
Robin
Woodpeckers
and since we live in the city: rock dove!
-
I finished the afternoon watching the show "The Beauty of Snakes" on Discovery HD Theatre.
They're such fascinating creatures, and seeing them up close and personal in HD is the only way I ever want to see them.
-
No Alice Faye box again today though I did get a couple of new Blu-ray discs.
[sigh] Maybe tomorrow.
-
BK, I think I had better finish your short stories before I go to LA in April, huh.
I should think you'd better! But you're doing better than a few on this here site - at least you have the BOOK.
-

That is what happens when you keep hiring the same three people to direct shows - you get crap, because the three flavors of the month out here (where this tour was put together) are NOT GOOD.
-
Michael Callan died much too young. I loved his sitcom OCCASIONAL WIFE and was very disappointed when it only ran one season.
Awww...I didn't know he had died. I liked OCCASIONAL WIFE, too, and thought he was very good in CAT BALLOU.

Michael Callan died? Is that why I haven't seen him at the last two Ray Courts shows? He wasn't THAT young. Or are you thinking of someone else?
-
Mr. Callan seems to be very much alive. The report of his death has been greatly exaggerated.
-
Awww...I didn't know he had died. I liked OCCASIONAL WIFE, too, and thought he was very good in CAT BALLOU.
As Dr. Frankenstein once said: He's alive, he's alive. Who on earth was MattH thinking of?
-
One of my long overdue packages arrived today - the one from Italy seems to have gone the way of our beloved Dodo bird.
-
I don't see anything to suggest he did. Matt H, do you know any more about what happened to him? Or are reports of his death greatly exaggerated?
-
LOL---BK and I have a simultaneous thought!
-
MattH doesn't want us to know he was wrong, so he's keeping mum on the subject. Or maybe he's called Veronica Mars to find out the deal. :)
-
My dinner last night was from Taco Bell, so I think I'll skip watching the video.
The Dayton International Peace Museum is a very thought-provoking place. The organizers/founders are constituents of my program here at the library, which is why I attended the luncheon today. I happened to sit at the same table with one of our library board members, his wife, and a local author of books for young adults, Trudy Krisher (http://www.trudykrisher.com). The event was called "Peace Bowls," and the menu was soup, salad, bread, fruit, cake. They'd gotten donations of a variety of pottery bowls for table decorations and each of us got to select a bowl to take.
-
MattH doesn't want us to know he was wrong, so he's keeping mum on the subject. Or maybe he's called Veronica Mars to find out the deal. :)
I'm sure you meant nothing personal in that comment, but I assure you MattH has never been reluctant to admit when he has been wrong.. Would that more folks would admit to it when it's obvious they have been.
MattH is not online right now and probably doesn't know he's being discussed.
He's obviously mistaken Mr. Callan for another actor...or, like me, he's misremembered.
-
Good afternoon and Happy Friday Dear Esteemed and nice BK --
I'll be holding good thoughts for you this evening, and I'll be at the partay in spirit with all of you.
And congratulations on your monumental postings achievement !
-
Oh YAY !!! A page start..
Hooray for page 7
(and Captain Spaulding!)
-
But REALLY dear BK ----- the least you could do is turn a guy down when he proposes to you!
And you should have seen the ring I had picked out..... oy!
-
I've written two pages so far.
-

That would be correct - I meant nothing personal - hence the SMILEY FACE. I should think the Veronica Mars line would have clued you in. And MattH was most assuredly online for that last volley of postings.
-
But REALLY dear BK ----- the least you could do is turn a guy down when he proposes to you!

I'm thinking about it, I'm thinking about it. :o
-
I'm thinking about it, I'm thinking about it. :o
Oh, fine, .... now I suppose Rodeo Drive isn't good enough, and you'll want Harry Winston to fly in.......
-
SAFE AND STRESS FREE TRAVEL VIBES FOR ELMORE!!!
-
Thanks Ben. I will pass on the links.
MBarnum-Do you mean Sherlock is big or a dog in the stories.
Matt H-Sherlock still has a lot of growing to do, possible up to 50 more pounds of growing. Only time will tell.
Edi-It is great fun to romp in the snow with him. I had some great photo ops, but every time I knelt down to take a picture he ran and jumped on top of me. You have a lovely collection of birds in your yard.
-
Jane - it looks like you and Sherlock were having a great time in the snow!
Speaking of birds, the Dayton International Peace Museum has a pair of doves that they rescued and that fly freely throughout the building.
-
Michael Callan died? Is that why I haven't seen him at the last two Ray Courts shows? He wasn't THAT young. Or are you thinking of someone else?
There was a singer named Michael Callen (http://members.aol.com/sigothinc/whowas.htm) who died in 1993, but I don't think that that's who you're thinking of, at all.
He used to sing with an a cappella group called The Flirtations and they were fabulous! I saw The Flirts (as they were known) here in Olympia, shortly after Michael left the group for health reasons, but before he died. The group also was in the movie "Philadelphia" with Tom Hanks and Antonio Banderas during the birthday party scene.
-
I have a great picture of my aunt's Bernese when he was a puppy, grabbing and tugging on the camera strap as I was taking his picture. If I can find it in this mess I'll post it. He was so cute!
-
Thank you for the Friday bird count, Edisaurus.
White-crowned sparrow
House sparrow
House finch
Lesser goldfinch
Gambel's quail
Gila woodpecker
Curved-bill thrasher
Rock dove
Mourning dove
Inca dove
Anna's hummingbird
Say's phoebe
Great-tailed grackle
Euorean starling
Mockingbird
Verdin
-
I just learned some new birds. I'll have to look them up in my bird book!
Inca dove...another name for pigeon out west? :-)
Thanks, DR Laura!
-
Thanks to the thoughtfulness of FJL, I will be taking my mom to see SISTER ACT tomorrow afternoon, after taking her to lunch. It will be quite the treat!
-
That would be correct - I meant nothing personal - hence the SMILEY FACE. I should think the Veronica Mars line would have clued you in. And MattH was most assuredly online for that last volley of postings.
I was on-line but I was NOT in this forum.
Mucho, mucho apologies to Michael Callan. I truly thought he died and died a long time ago. I don't have a clue who I've gotten him mixed up with. I'm really shocked (but throughly delighted) to read that he is still among us.
-
I meant Sherlock, Jane! He has grown so!
-
There was a singer named Michael Callen (http://members.aol.com/sigothinc/whowas.htm) who died in 1993, but I don't think that that's who you're thinking of, at all.
I may have seen the name and equated him in my mind with the actor. That's the only explanation I can think of.
-
Take the ring BK! Take the Ring! And the trip to Europe!
-
Yes, actor Michael Callan was alive that last time I saw him.
-
I may have seen the name and equated him in my mind with the actor. That's the only explanation I can think of.
I think it's something else.
Something AARP might cover. Are you member?
:D
-
An inca dove is a small desert dove, smaller than a mourning dove.
-
I was on-line but I was NOT in this forum.
Mucho, mucho apologies to Michael Callan. I truly thought he died and died a long time ago. I don't have a clue who I've gotten him mixed up with. .
Wally Cox?
-
I think it's something else.

:D
Maybe I SHOULD be! I'll consider it. :o
-
Yes, actor Michael Callan was alive that last time I saw him.
Nick Adams was alive the last time I saw him, too. But that was in the Winter of 1960 when he was the star of ABC's "The Rebel" and making an appearance at WLOS-TV's Greenville SC satellite station (its HQ was in Asheville NC) during a telethon for something or other.
-
Edisaurus, if we posted bird lists from yesterday, mine would be nice and long.
-
Wally Cox?
There's no way I'd mix those two gentlemen up! ::)
-
BK:
Is it the David Shire album same release as the Bay Cities version?
-
We are six days away from March 2007!
-
Now we're going to talk about members?
-
BK:
Is it the David Shire album same release as the Bay Cities version?
Yes, it's the same, but with improved sound, a slightly different playing order, and a seventeen minute bonus track that wasn't on the original release. And much nicer packaging.
-
At long last page eight.
-
Perhaps I shall shave right now.
-
This morning I looked out my office window, and this is what I saw:
-
We are six days away from March 2007!
BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ides_of_March)!!
;)
-
Yes, actor Michael Callan was alive that last time I saw him.
Ewwwww...I should hope so...
-
Unless he was involved in the actual realization of Plan 9
...From Outer Space!
-
I'm heading down now to do that most awful of Friday tasks: mopping the kitchen floor. Then, settling in for a full evening of DVDs/TV.
WBBL.
-
Perhaps I shall shave right now.
Careful you don't nick anything vital....a digit....or a member.
-
Yes, it's the same, but with improved sound, a slightly different playing order, and a seventeen minute bonus track that wasn't on the original release. And much nicer packaging.
The bonus track is QUITE intriguing. Whatever could it be from?
-
The bonus track is the Sonata For Cocktail Piano, a wonderful creation - originally on the Classical HollywoodII CD.
-
I am clean-shaven. It's quite nippy out. Not that that has anything to do with being clean-shaven. Perhaps I'll invite Michael Callan to the party tonight.
-
MattH- Perhaps you confused him with the wonderful actor Mike Kellin, who died in 1983?
-
Good Afternoon!
Yep, the winter temps are back, and just in time for DR elmore's return! ;)
I ended up taking care of some shopping as I walked around, and I also grabbed some lunch at The Hummus Place (http://www.hummusplace.com/) - very tasty. And the mint lemonade was very refreshing too.
And while I was at Whole Foods, I stocked up on some Cliff and Balance Bars for my all-day Oscar Fest tomorrow. -I don't think I could or should live on the popcorn and soft drinks that are included with the price of the pass.
-
Now I shall shower so I'll be fresh as a daisy for the partay.
-
*And after I see all five Oscar nominated films (back-to-back) tomorrow, I shall place my picks on at oscars.com.
-
I meant Sherlock, Jane! He has grown so!
I think he looks bigger than he is in the photo because I have sunk down into 10+ inches of snow. ;D
Edi-I hope you find the photo to post.
-
Well dear crazies and Zanies and hainsies and kimlets...I'm off to do some errands and evening stuff.
Have fun at the Brain partay this evening, and be festive!!
-
I Need Vibes, DRs!
I am now off to post two cartons, do some banking, sign and pay for my dad's 2006 IRS return.
TOD: I have nada here, but I do look forward to using my VCR when I get back to NYC!
But all your VCR has in it is...................... oh! Nevermind.
-
Bruce, et al, enjoy your party.
DRLaura-Keep those bird photos coming. :)
-
...And on the subway ride back uptown from 86th Street...
There were a group of teenagers placing homemade flyers up in the subway cars. Apparently, their grandfather had wandered off this past Sunday, and he has yet to be found, turn up. As the teens were getting off at one stop, this woman came on the train. As soon as she saw the flyer, she pulled it off the wall, and she had "that" look on her face. I could tell she was thinking really hard. She looked at the lady to the left of her. Then she looked at me. Then she asked for a pen. Luckily, I had one. It turns out, she may have seen the man earlier today. After she wrote the number on her palm with the pen I gave her - which was actually a Sharpie - she got off at the next stop. I hope her phone call leads to a happy reunion.
*And I hope she's able to wash the phone number off of her palm.
-
I think he looks bigger than he is in the photo because I have sunk down into 10+ inches of snow. ;D
Edi-I hope you find the photo to post.
Well, that's still one big, adorable puppy.
-
One HUGE adorable puppy!
-
Now we're going to talk about members?
Is this in reference to DR Laura's "mine would be nice and long."?
I don't think that's what she was talking about! :o
DR Laura, why is yours a lesser goldfinch? At least yours have color, unlike mine!
And thanks for the Inca Dove. How pretty!
Inca Dinca Do!
-

When did Michael Callan die?

-
I shall now be on my way to get platters of foodstuffs and then on to the partay to set up everything. Hopefully, Miss Patti will bring her camera.
-
I have no idea why the bird-namers thought ours are lesser than yours. They are pretty year-round.
-
To All the Brain from Planet X-ers...
PARTAY! PARTAY! PARTAY!
-
Kitty Kallen is still alive.
-
I guess we are going to get a really big storm this weekend. They are already cancelling things for tomorrow night and even Monday! That's hard to believe. Thunderstorms tonight changing to rain and freezing rain and then to snow - predictions vary but are all at least 4-8 inches. So it will be interesting.

Tomorrow night is CESAR NIGHT!
OSCAR NIGHT is Sunday Night!

Mr IvoryMan, you're confused!
Tomorrow night is CESAR NIGHT!
OSCAR NIGHT is Sunday Night!
Tomorrow DR Jose is seeing I believe it was 5 nominated films back to back...thus HIS all day Oscar Fest
-
When did Michael Callan die?

He's OK...really!
-
I must confess I haven't seen many of the films this year. Maybe that's the best time to get in a pool. I've won more pools when I don't see them all
-
I've only seen 2 or 3...pretty pathetic. I used to go to movies all the time!
-
I've only seen 2 or 3...pretty pathetic. I used to go to movies all the time!
I haven't seen ANY of the Oscar nominated films. ::)
-
The grocery store was insane tonight. Everyone is stocking up for the storm. I just needed some milk and something for dinner...I picked up some chinese take out and the rice was AWFUL!!! It tasted like melted plastic. Needless to say I didn't eat it
-
I haven't seen ANY of the Oscar nominated films. ::)
Me either.
-
Cillaliz: be sure you have the important stuff: cat food.

Cillaliz: be sure you have the important stuff: cat food.
I spent more at Petco than I spent at the grocery store ;D

Oh, I "see"! I'm the confused one! Sorry!
5 films in a row would definitely get me confused too! Overdose, I'd say!
-
Maybe that's the best time to get in a pool.
No way! It's freezing here! ;)

One HUGE adorable puppy!
LOL-Thank you Jose & DRLaura. He does attract a good amount of attention when we take him out.
-
Cillaliz: be sure you have the important stuff: cat food.
Cat food tastes like plastic too! Not that I've tried it, but... ;)
-
DR Jane - LOVED the photos of you and Sherlock. He's really grown up fast
-
This afternoon a neighbor came up our road on his humongous tractor, blazing a trail. The road is easier to walk now, though he made it very difficult for Keith to shovel a section of the road that tends to ice up.
If Keith hadn’t exhausted himself today, shoveling, snowblowing & digging for 2 hours Keith’s car would be stuck on the road. Since my hair was wet & the road was clear I figured I could drive down to the mailbox in the SUV with studded snow tires instead of walking. BIG MISTAKE! I still can’t believe I made it home without ending up in the ditch, the car was weaving back & forth & the tacking beeper kept going off. At times I thought I might tip over. All the while I had to keep my foot to the petal in order to make it up the hill. I can’t tell you how grateful I was when I got to the stretch Keith had cleared.
-
Thanks Cilla. He is so big sometimes I forget he is still just a puppy.
-
Cillaliz reminded me that we needed cat food, too. And birdseed.
-
TOD: The Las Vegas Plaids sang to me today at the office. I worked until the printer jammed, then I came home. Can't do any more until Monday.
-
Cillaliz reminded me that we needed cat food, too. And birdseed.
I buy a couple cases of canned cat food and a big bag of dry food plus treats when I go. That lasts for quite awhile.
-
I think I'm going to run down to the office and get some work to bring home for the weekend. I have so much to do before I leave for New York and I don't want to be thinking about the office when I'm gone.
-
Yes, it's the same, but with improved sound, a slightly different playing order, and a seventeen minute bonus track that wasn't on the original release. And much nicer packaging.
Well then I guess I will have to order it.
-
Hmm...
Well, I guess I needed that nap...
Of course, now I'm feeling very logey... and a little headachey... ???
Time to hydrate, I think.
-

Have the girls tried their boney-toe flakes yet?
-
Well, I'm now off to see a local production of "Picasso at the Lapine Agile." I was in "Cannibal: The Musical" with a couple of the actors. It should be very good. :)

;D
No! Lapine is for James, Sondheim's friend! (Or a female rabbit!)
It's "Lapin Agile", an old Parisian Cabaret!

Welcome to the Cabaret!!

The Brain party must be going on about now.

At the Lapin Agile?
A Bunny Brain! ;)
-
Vibes for Dear Reader Elmore! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And Sherlock is such a cute doggie!

A Bunny Brain! ;)
A Bunny Day! (Bonne idee...)
Hi, François!
-
I was on-line but I was NOT in this forum.
Mucho, mucho apologies to Michael Callan. I truly thought he died and died a long time ago. I don't have a clue who I've gotten him mixed up with. I'm really shocked (but throughly delighted) to read that he is still among us.
I do this kind of thing all the time. I'm about eighty percent sure that Jon Lovitz died about six years ago, even though people keep telling me that he's still alive.
And when I saw Bill Irwin on the Tony Awards, I said, "This guy is doing a really good impression of Bill Irwin. Too bad Bill Irwin is dead. He'd think this guy was really good."
My mom looked at me really funny and informed me that it really was Bill Irwin. I'm sure I remember him dying. It was right after Jon Lovitz died.
-

Bill Irwin is most definitely alive, and had a great series at Signature 2 years ago. I went up to NY for the revival of "In Regard of Flight". A truly magical night of theatre!
-
A Bunny Day! (Bonne idee...)
Hi, François!
Oh! A bilingual pun! That's a Pun Idée too!
Bonjour!
-
For years, when I saw John Gielgud, I always thought that he had died. But he was making movies until he was 96. What a career!
-
All those posts about dead people alive just kill me!
(or is it "alive people dead"?!)
-
It's the living dead
-
Oh! A bilingual pun! That's a Pun Idée too!
I was trying to remember the French film where someone shows up at the door with a mohawk hairstyle and the other person says (in French) "What kind of hairstyle is that"
"Iroquois".
"Quois?"
"Iroqouis".
"Quois?"
LOL...
-
Well, 12 hours from now I shall be watching "Babel", and 12 hours after that I shall be finishing up "Little Miss Sunshine"...
But before I go...
-
DR elmore - I hope you had a good, uneventful flight back to NYC. Welcome home!
*And I hope your VCR didn't short out while you were away. ;D
-
I hope all the Brainiacs had a splendidly splendid party. I look forward to seeing the pics.
-
And, remember, if you'd like to participate in this year's HHW Oscar Pool:
If you go to www.oscars.com, just click on The Sweepstakes link, then to Predict the Winners. Or just click below:
http://predict.oscar.go.com/predict/frontpage
I've gone ahead and started the group: HainesHisWay. -And, yes, the motto is "What is it, fish?".
The password is: benjamin
*You will need to register with abc.com, but just make sure to check/uncheck all the "marketing email" boxes as you desire. But if you were a part of this last year, you log-in and password should still be active.
And like last year, I'm pretty sure I can come up with a Sparkling Prize or two for this year's winning predictors.
-
And now to rest up for a full day of sitting on my ass. ;)
Goodnight.
-
I made another mistake today when I said that tonight's MONK and PSYCH were their season finales. Actually, they're next Friday night.
Perhaps I just need to go back to bed and pretend today never happened.
-
OH!
DR elmore - and anyone else in NYC this weekend - Be sure to check out www.mta.info for the latest service advisories/interruptions. There are LOTS of them. Lots of skip-stopping going on this weekend.
-
OK... Now I'm heading to bed.
Bonne nuit.
-
I began the evening with MR. MOTO'S GAMBLE. This was the film that actually began as a CHARLIE CHAN movie and when Warner Oland died, it was switched over to a MR. MOTO picture. It is certainly more of a murder mystery than the first four MOTOs were.
I had never seen this one before, and I was proud that I figured out the murderer's identity.
Wonderful character actor cast including Ward Bond as the heavyweight champion and John Hamilton and Pierre Watkin, two actors who both played Perry White in the SUPERMAN series and the SUPERMAN serials, in supporting roles.
-
GHOST WHISPERER had a good episode tonight, for a change a spirit who wasn't angry and seeking vengeance. The fact that there were two spirits made it different and doubly interesting.
-
Have the girls tried their boney-toe flakes yet?
Yes, Callie likes them very much. They are cut a little finer than the ones from the pet store, so she looked at me like "What, crumbs?" but after about 1-2 seconds, she gobbles them up while purring. Boo has never thought much about them.
-
MONK had a real mystery tonight, too, instead of a COLUMBO-style plot where we see the murder committed and then watch Monk figure out who and how.
This one was more straightforward and, for me, more enjoyable.
-

LOL! I've had experiences like this before
-
And PSYCH had another episode that was full of goofy fun and high spirits this time involving poker playing. I always feel so good when this show wraps up. James Roday and Dule Hill really have a great buddy vibe that makes the whole show tremendously enjoyable.
-
Heading off to bed now.
Good night!
-
I joined the group over at Oscars.com. I have no idea about 90 percent of it, so if anyone else wants to guess like me....come join us, you never know and you can't win if you don't play
-
Hope the Brain party is a blast. Can't wait to hear about it and see the photos....for now, I must sleep
-
I just joined too, although I have no idea why. I don't know anything at all from any of the movies. I'll have my cat make the predictions for me, since he knows as much about it as I do.
-
Edi - Have a great time at the show tomorrow. Hope you enjoy it.
-
Perhaps I just need to go back to bed and pretend today never happened.
But then you'd have to mop your kitchen floor all over again! ;D
-
I meant to post this last night and forgot about it.
One of my dearest friends is playing King Pellinore.
Well, because of winds, my flight was delayed 2 and a half hours, and I got into my apartment around 12:30 AM. I will catch up on the posts and crash.
G'night, all! Thanks for the vibes.
-
There was a singer named Michael Callen (http://members.aol.com/sigothinc/whowas.htm) who died in 1993, but I don't think that that's who you're thinking of, at all.
Michael Callen was a founding member of the New York City Gay Men's Chorus and a wonderful singer. He co-wrote "Love don't Need A Reason" with Masha Malamud(spelling?), whom I haven't seen in years, and Peter Allen.
-
Will we never get to page eleven?
-
What a wonderful partay we had - a nice crowd, everyone loved the food and ate lots of it, the DVD of act one was a big hit and everyone got a CD - Diana Darrin was there, along with some other nice folks - Kevin Spirtas was there, Lauren Rubin wasn't. The party really broke up after two hours - a couple of people showed up after that, but we were already gone by then. All in all, a completely successful CD release partay. Miss Patti took photographs and I suppose she'll post them at some point, probably tomorrow.
-
Ask and ye shall receive. At long last page eleven. Will we never get to page twelve?
-
Did Boo-Kee make it to the par-tay?
-
And what is Merrill up to now?
-
Poor DH is on his way home after recording a radio play. He worked on getting his gear together until 5AM because they shifted gears at the last minute about what they wanted. He got 2 hours sleep and then worked for 14 hours. I'm talking to him and keeping him awake on his long drive home. I think he's relieved it's all over...or is it?
-
BK, if you pass Egbert's contact info along, I will give it to some of the producers I know at Cartoon Network who create original programming. He has a great voice and is a very talented actor.
-
For the Oscar party, I've decided to go with FJL's suggestion: "Flan's Labyrinth". If it turns out OK I will post a picture.
-
Welcome home, DR Elmore! It's nice to have you back where you belong!
-
Yay---DH made it home. Goodnight, nobody!
-
I am glad Diana made it to the CD partay! I will have to call her this weekend and get the scoop...I hope she got to meet her new fave, Kevin Spirtas.
-
Edisaurus, please e-mail me and remind me about Egbert - he'd love that sort of thing. Cason was indeed there, and I have a complete report going up in mere moments.
-
I'm alone in the jernt.
-
Alone except for five GUESTS. Who are you people? Why don't you get off your ample butt cheeks and post for once in your lurking lives?
-
I don't think we'll be getting to page twelve, although we have two minutes.
-
I'll just keep on posting until the new notes go up.
-
Perhaps I'll achieve page twelve all by my lonesome.
-
The owners of my local DVD store were at the party tonight, and they brought along all sorts of goodies, including a large stack of Oscar promo CDs, which I collect, as well as two new Criterion titles, Fallen Idol and Mouchette.
-
I'm too tired to keep posting.
-
And the new notes will be up in a mere two minutes time.
-
And I cannot stay up and post or try to make up for the WUSSBURGERS.
-
Well, what else am I going to do whilst I wait to post the new notes?
-
I'm really tired tonight - it's been an exhausting day, really.
-
I'm so excited to be getting the recut act one and the act two initial edit.
-
We're surprisingly close to page twelve.
-
Close but no ceegar.
-
No ceegar, but close.
-
This is almost a whole page of ME. We LOVE that.
-
New notes are up.
-
We must be very close.
-
Apparently not THAT close.
-
All this and page twelve, too.
