If the computer is a Dell, it might be the power supply or the motherboard that is going. My one at work started doing that until one day it would not come up at all.

I just looked this up on IMDb.com (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0039628/) and it was released on May 2, 1947...exactly 60 years and six days ago!!

Why would they release a movie about Christmas in May??

This question is answered in the Trivia section:

Despite the fact that the film is set during Christmas, studio head Darryl F. Zanuck insisted that it be released in May because he argued that more people went to the movies during the summer. So the studio began scrambling to promote it while keeping the fact that it was a Christmas movie a secret.

George,

They're all Gateway computers and mine isn't the only one that this happened to.  SEVERAL computers had the exact same thing happen to them at the exact same time. :-\

FAvorite courtroom dramas....

12 Angry men
To Kill a Mockingbird
Perry Mason
Rumpole of hte Bailey
Matlock

At times I enjoyed THE PRACTICE, BOSTON LEGAL, JAG,  LA LAW, and a few others. Also there are stories I dont mind mind seeing on LAW and ORDER.

I did not mind Pelican Briefs, Legal Eagles and A Few Good Men. The last movie is one of FEW that I can really stand Tom Cruise in.

I would have htem all checked for in a situation like that they would have bought from the same lot so they may all be bad.

I don't think that the individual computers are the problem...because the same thing happened to other computers at the exact same time, there's probably something wrong with the server that affected them.  Of course, I'm just guessing.

Good morning, all!  Still hobbling around.  By the end of the first act of yesterday's reading, I thought I would die.  Luckily, Act Two was much shorter.  The reading, as Jose mentioned, was fun.  I must say I liked the music and lyrics better than the book, and I felt there was a problem with the leading lady.  I liked the rest of the cast a lot.  It was good to see several frends there and not so good to see one of my least favorite orchestrators - who works constantly though I don't know why, perhaps it's more to do with his steam room activities?

This morning, a long-awaited haircut, a trip to Tekserve, then on to Toyland and later the NYPL.

I am NOT wrangling carts today.  Which is just as well, because my feet are sore from yesterday.

But it was a beautiful day yesterday, crisp blue skies and a nice breeze.  It could have been warmer, but it was close to just right.

We're starting to get the new hires for the summer in training mode.  Of particular interest will be what happens on Wednesday, when one of the new wranglers comes in, and I get to train him from about nine to noon.  That means that I get to teach the feller MY attitude about the job, before the other kids get to him and teach him the wrong way to do it.

I was told about this yesterday, by assistant manager Bob, who has to have been given the strong suggestion by front-end manager Dixie, my direct boss.  So, whatever happens, my work is getting noticed.

If only my feet weren't so sore.   :-\

Some good choices for TOD already mentioned:

ANATOMY OF A MURDER
TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD
WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION

I like courtroom scene in BRIGHT EYES:
Oh, Mama, now we don't have to be nice to Uncle Ned anymore! [SMACK]

PERRY MASON had the best courtroom scenes on TV....OWEN MARSHALL the worst....with JUDD FOR THE DEFENSE somewhere in the middle.

When we first moved the PCPH to our new location, we did our shows outside for a couple of seasons.  Once during a performance of YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN there was a lot of noise backstage.  I went back to the small barn and one of the moms who was chaperoning was fighting with a raccoon who had decided he wanted her purse.  Eventually the raccoon won, and scampered off down the hill toward the lake with a BIG purse.....and it didn't even match his shoes!

Yeah, we burned our fingers on this and the Thingmakers and the Easy Bake Ovens, but we all lived to tell about it.

The wussy kids today, though--the only injury they have to worry about is carpel tunnel syndrome or text messaging thumb stress!  Bah!  These kids wouldn't know a good time if it hit them in the head!

Which is exactly what happened to us when we played with Time Bomb!  And we liked it!

Now with the Curtis Hanson/Curtis harrington mix up I went back to IMDB and to see what CURTIS HARRINGTON directed.

I was quote surprised that I have seen quite a number of his films or knew about them.

One was a 1967 film called GAMES with Katherine Ross, Jmaes Caan and Simone Signoret. The plot: A young couple who are into kinky "mind games" get more than they bargained for when a mysterious woman comes into their lives.

Now if I saw it today I am not sure I would have the same reaction, but I would love to see it again.

Some others:
How Awful About Allan. I believe it was an ABC movie of the week.
Whoever Slew Auntie Roo? A good scarey film. A reworking of Hansel and Gretel with Shelly Winters and Mark Lester and some great British actors in support.

What's The Matter With Helen? I never saw because the movie posters/ads gave away the ending by showing a dead Debbie Reynolds. Dumb dumb.

Killer Bees another TV with Gloria swanson, Kate Jackson and Edward Albert. Not bad as bee movies go. I never miss a movie with Bees and Gloria Swanson together.

The Cat Creature a TV movie written by Robert Bloch and with Meredith Baxter who worked with BK a couple years earlier in Young Love.

Ruby a reasonable good horror film with Piper Laurie taht had its ending resoot and the film re-release because of the film Carrie that Piper laurie also appeared in. It tried to copy the scarey ending of Carrie according to IMDB The producer chose to change the ending, and both Curtis Harrington and Piper Laurie refused to be involved in the re-shoot. It was allegedly shot by Stephanie Rothman, who has neither confirmed nor denied her involvement.
The radically re-edited TV version is credited to Allan Smithee.

After that he work almost execlusively in episodic TV

Very strange...I know that I once saw GAMES and that I liked it a lot, but for the life of me I cannot recall anything else about it except a scene with Ross and Caan in bed together laughing over some stunt that they just pulled off.  Is this one on DVD?

I just checked Amazon and it is not.

Can't find it on eBay, either.  But there is a poster for sale (http://cgi.ebay.com/t042-GAMES-30x40-poster-67-Simone-Signoret-James-Caan_W0QQitemZ130109485408QQihZ003QQcategoryZ60332QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD4VQQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting).

ANATOMY OF A MURDER

A FEW GOOD MEN

INHERIT THE WIND

and I'll also add THE PARADINE CASE since most people hate this Hitchcock film and I love it.

I don't have an oatmeal bowl.  I'm eating leftover pizza, the true breakfast of champions.  Yummers.

Easy for him to say - I have the living room mess to clean up!

Those of you who have been taking careful notes remember that yesterday I kept the dogs on a diet because I was too lazy to go shopping before picking up Woody at 5. Well, I fetched the Wrangler, we kibble shopped at Wal-Mart and then Mr. "My Feet Hurt" wanted to go get a take out pizza, which we did. (We did take out becasue the dogs love Pizza night at home).

In our absense, the dogs went foraging and when we returned, the living room was strewn with trash!

See next post for the result!

Does LEGALLY BLONDE:  THE MUSICAL count as a courtroom drama?

Not any more than the MOVIE "Legally Blonde" upon which the musical is based.

Both are "comedies" rather than "dramas."

I felt the same way, except I didn't care for the Mohinder and Molly stuff--it felt forced and false to me.  And I was kind of disappointed to learn that Nathan's mother is part of the conspiracy--I was hoping that she was working against the company in some capacity or other.  And the stuff with Skylar and his mother played out too quickly (and besides, I already knew that it was going to end badly between them through this week's article in Entertainment Weekly, though they had it in reverse!)

I just don't get that DL is willing to live or even be in the same room with Jessica or even work with her to find Mica.  And the chameleon woman who kidnapped Mica also has mind-bending powers?  How suddenly convenient.

I also couldn't understand how Nathan would allow Claire to remain in his house just as the rest of his family is arriving.  How does he explain her to his wife?  And wasn't there some kind of urgency a few episodes back to get Claire out of the country?  The same thing with Peter's worriment about going nuclear--why doesn't he just leave the city?  And what happened to the Invisible Man?

There's just been too many holes in this show lately.  And compared to the richly textured and layered storytelling that's been going on in LOST, HEROES has been sorely lacking.

Which is exactly what happened to us when we played with Time Bomb!  And we liked it!

Totally DISagree with the both of you.

Every episode reveals more information about the story's characters and motivations.

The "Silar" arc is VERY revealing, IMO.  It offers a glimpse into the nature of his sociopathic rages.

Why does D.L. stay with "Jessica"?  He stays because she's "pretending" to be Nikki...and mostly because of Micah, who LOVES  his mother and doesn't want to be away from her.  I know that D.L. is aware of the dual identity, but I don't think he knows that Nikki is trapped, so to speak, and that Jessica pretends to "be" Nikki.

The hour moves so quickly that the show seems to be over just moments after it starts....for me.  They cannot possibly track each and every "Heroes" character in each episode, either.  The "invisible man" was rather adamant about not wanting to associate with anyone. Several episodes back, he got paranoid when Peter was interacting with others like them and he decided Peter wasn't respecting their "arrangement."   The invisible man then "disappeared", so to speak.  I'm certain they'll bring him back at some point.

As for Nathan's mother -- wow!  Have you missed the episodes she's been in?  She could teach Angela Lansbury's "The Manchurian Candidate" mother a thing or two.  She's a totally manipulative and wholly controlling person (I'll bet you thought I was going to say "bitch" here, dintcha!).  Sure, she wants to protect Claire, her granddaughter, just like Nathan, Claire's biological father, was trying to do all her life.  The entire family has "powers", including the mom, if I'm not mistaken.  Just don't know what hers are yet.

As for Peter...the time has not arrived yet when he will "blow up" the city.  He remains in New York because it's his home, it's where others of his kind are, and, I suspect, because he really hopes he can find a way to undo what hasn't yet happened.  He knows absolutely that "the future", as painted by the now-decesased artist, CAN be changed/altered....it's all part of the "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" imagery/message that started everything up in the first place.

I'm not at all sure what you mean, Dan, about mindbending powers of the woman who can shape-shift.  Can you elaborate?  If you are referring to Micah's attempt to escape, only to find himself back in the same room, I'm not certain "she" did that.  I was thinking more along the lines of its being a Linderman arrangement.

But I could be wrong...

The New Mannerists (http://3quarksdaily.blogs.com/3quarksdaily/2007/05/monday_musing_t.html)
Quote

...

Mannerists in general are not compelled primarily by subject matter and the films of the New Mannerists are not ‘about’ things in the way that other films are. That is one of the things I find so remarkable about Coppola’s 'Marie Antoinette'. There are few subjects of world history as fraught with content and meaning as the French Revolution. It's a minefield one is expected to come to with strong positions and the goods to back them up. Coppola lets the camera drift around in scene after scene where we learn next to nothing about the events of the day. We simply see daily life as it unfolds.

Even when the Revolution itself begins to occur—a prime opportunity for drama and narrative arc—it does so in an oddly stilted way, as a kind of non sequitur. Mendelsohn criticizes the movie for precisely this reason. He writes,

"The final silent image in this movie, so filled as it is with striking and suggestive images, tells you more about Coppola, and perhaps our own historical moment, than it could possibly tell you about Marie Antoinette. It's a mournful shot of the Queen's state bedchamber at Versailles, ransacked by the revolutionary mob the night before the Queen and her family were forced to leave, its glittering chandeliers askew, its exquisite boiseries cracked and mangled. You'd never guess from this that men's lives—those of the Queen's guards—were also destroyed in that violence; their severed heads, stuck on pikes, were gleefully paraded before the procession bearing the royal family to Paris. But Coppola forlornly catalogs only the ruined bric-a-brac. As with the teenaged girls for whom she has such sympathy, her worst imagination of disaster, it would seem, is a messy bedroom."
It is as if Coppola is not up to the serious events of the adult world and thus her movie must be a mockery of those events and that world. But that is not the truth that Coppola’s movie is after. Viewed from Marie Antoinette's perspective, from her 'inner experience', there was no other way for the French Revolution to come about than as a non sequitur whose immediate result is best portrayed as a messy bedroom. To me, that scene in the messy bedroom is lovely, disturbing…true.

Unless she wasn't responsible for the room changes and she was just messing with the kid.  She strikes me as the type who would do that.

The small pooch is Mikey, an eight year old pug-terrier mix (we think) recused from the pound when he was about 7 weeks old.

The blonde next to him is Bonnie, a Basenji-Terrier mix (we think) stray that joined us with Buster two weeks before we left Long Beach.

Okay....hmmmm....so what she is doing is making people "see" her as she wishes to be seen.  I think I've assumed she was "shape-shifting" or "morphing"....but apparently she makes folks see what she wants them to see.

I guess it's possible she could do that to Micah's mind re: always entering the same room no matter where he runs to.

Food for thought...THAT's what I get here!

Had some great viewing experiences, and the best came first. Episode #2 of PLANET EARTH entitled "Mountains." Besides the majestic high def views of the mountains of the world, we got to see the life that inhabits these extreme areas, and boy was it fascinating: snow leopards, pandas, golden eagles, a couple of different avrieties of monkeys. Amazing!

And the high def photography is just mesmerizing. This second episode was even better than the first for reference quality sound and picture.

Next I watched last night's CSI: MIAMI. I was very disheartened last week that my favorite character, CSI Ryan Wolf, was fired from the team. This week he was working for a local TV station as an on-air analyst of crime scenes. Good case for him to start his broadcasting career with, but I was disappointed (though not surprised) that he got little encouragement from Caleigh, my second favorite character on the show. She's very rules-oriented, so when people mess up, she rarely cuts them any slack.

I was pleased with the resolution of this week's story.

Back from auditions.  Actually, we finished around 3:45, and I took a nice walk up from Chelsea to Koreatown (32nd Street to be precise) since the warmer temps put me in the mood for some frozen yogurt.  Pinkberry Green Tea to be precise.

And then I hopped on the D train - which still had it's heat on?!?!!?! - for the ride back uptown.  And, shortly, I believe, I shall take a nap before I head back to midtown for my A Chorus Line pit visit.

Like most pets, they're always up for cleaning plates; Marty, the black lab, will often try to sneak a bite when you're distracted. They all have mastered the art of eating a piece of meat speared on a fork (without jabbing their throats) and can eat ice cream from a spoon and not drop a bit - they even wait patiently in line for their turn. Marty is also a master of drinking from a glass tumbler - don't turn your back if there is ice tea at the ready!

In other words, the dogs have better table manners than do the Grandlads >:(

Leave It To Beaver (http://www.fiftiesweb.com/tv/leave-beaver.htm)

Quote
Ken Osmond as Edward 'Eddie' Haskell

Ever wonder how he got the name "Beaver?" When Wally was young, he couldn't say "Theodore." Called his little brother "Tweder." Ward and June thought "Beaver" sounded better and it stuck.

Good evening to one and all and all and one!

Thank you for the travel/moving vibes.  They must have worked because we are in the new place, safe and sound.

Poor Mom the meds they have her on really have her zonked out.  By the time I go down to Sun City (which in the Boon Docks, let me tell you.....) she didn't remember me or the ride down.

She went down so fast.  I guess a large part is the meds but still I've never seen her so frail and confused.  It hurts to see her like that.

Because Sun City is in the boon docks, I won't be coming down to see her tomorrow or Thursday night.  It will be the first nights I've missed since this begain.

I know she is in good hands but I'm still scared for her.

The clock starts ticking again--we have 60 days here at this Hospice then I will have to find her some place else to go.    At least it will give me a chance to catch my breath and plan for it.

DRs elmore and FJL - By any chance, do either of you have an extra pass to tomorrow night's final dress at Encores?  I was supposed to get one through the casting agency, but they got shorted on their allotment this time round, so...  -I'll probably just wait outside City Center anyway before the show, since the guy who runs the school groups program always has extra passes to give out, but just in case...

DR Jose, I do not.  Encores! has never been particularly nice to me, even though I've done work for them from their very first production through THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE. Now they have money, they go for "names." I am going with my friend from the Cole Porter Trust.

Very strange...I know that I once saw GAMES and that I liked it a lot, but for the life of me I cannot recall anything else about it except a scene with Ross and Caan in bed together laughing over some stunt that they just pulled off.  Is this one on DVD?

I just checked Amazon and it is not.

Isn't GAMES a remake of DIABOLIQUE?

I lOVED the dog pictures, DR DerB!  Such innocent faces!

I called about the dog door and it's proving more difficult then I first thought.  And much more expensive.  Three hundred dollars worth!

A fair price if you having it installed in a regular exterior door. Folks with "Florida Doors" (sliding glass patio things) have it much easier - it's an easy do-it-your self from Home Depot job.

I figure that's why I should be here for her first night.  Moving to a new place is pretty upsetting.  She doesn't really know what is going on but at least I think she knows on some level that I'm here for her.

Is it not true, DR CILLA LIZ - that the attorney doing the cross examination cannot bring up anything that was NOT covered in the direct?

It depends on where you are. In Arizona, they have what they call "wide open cross" where you can ask anything. In Iowa and Fed Court, you are supposed to stay within the scope of direct which can be expanded when a witness opens the door by answering with something other than what you ask.  As a matter of convenience, the judges usually give you a lot of leeway because all you have to do is ask that the witness not be released from the subpoena and call them as your witness. If it is a hostile witness, you can ask them leading questions.

Basically, what I did was remove the backbone from a whole roasting chicken, then took out the cartilage separating the breasts.  This made it easy to lay the bird flat in the pan.

I then made a compound butter with the lemon and lime zest and fresh cilantro, and stuffed that under the skin of the breasts and the legs/thighs.  Started the roasting at 450 F for 15 minutes, turned down the temp to 360 F and basted the bird with it's juices, and rebasted every 15 minutes over the next 45 minutes.  I turned the oven off and let the bird rest in the oven with the door cracked open.

Sides were shoestring fries, baked beans, and cole slaw.

Der Brucer is quite happy with the result.

I'll eat later - I had lunch after I came home from work.

News from work - I get to train all the new cart wranglers.  Dixie and Bob want to keep them away from the old cart wranglers who can't be bothered to work for their paychecks.

This could be fun!

It's nice to be trusted like this, too.

Now, if only I could get my feet to stop hurting.  First the small of my left foot was acting up, this morning the spot behind my right ankle took over, halfway through my shift today (at the register) my left leg muscle was aching, and now my right leg muscle is pulling the same stunt.

Over the next couple days I will be sorting through all the files and "stuff" in my desk and file cabinet, and the piles on my desk.   I will throw things away, shred to beat the band and pack up things I won't need for the next couple months but will want to take to my new office.     I'm also going to print out all the work I want to save and put it in 3 ring binders so I can have it if I need it.  (not likely, but one never knows)

I would love to, but that isn't going to happen.  June 29th is my last day, so there will be documents to sign, keys to turn in, things to move to the new office, etc.

However, since I'm flying United to the conference in Orlando (giving me enough points for a free ticket) and since I have mucho Marriott points (enough for a couple free nights already),  I could be convinced to go during the next HHW NYC gathering....and by then I will once again be an independent woman!!

Three weeks, not two.

And it should be noted that Bonnie and Buster and sister and brother.  As far as we can tell.  Same size, same coloring, same shape.  She just happens to have pointy ears and a smooth, short coat, while his ears flop and his coat is long and shaggy.

I may not be right about the flooding in Mo. Valley. That's what I heard, but now I'm reading they voluntarily evacuated the town of Red Oak. Hmm.  This isn't 1993 flood porportions yet, but if the rain keeps up at the pace it's been this month, it very well could be.   That was a nightmare.  I spent my birthday filling sand bags....heck, I spent most of the summer filling sand bags....that was my first year in private practice...

This is an actual footnote to an amended order filed in federal court today

1The previous Order (Docket No. 21) filed in this matter
indicated that Ms. Forsyth would be out of the office
attending a seminary. This, of course, was a typo and the
amended Order is being filed to correct that Ms. Forsyth is
out of the office attending a seminar.

I added the italics, but it's the part that really cracked me up

No, I think it's a lot more fun. They aren't trying to get a trophy or rich and famous, they are just dancing for a disco ball trophy and to say they won.

I watched THE FOXES OF HARROW before prime time began tonight. It's almost two hours so it was all I had time for prior to TV beginning.

Pretty good print that the Fox Movie Channel is using. There were some speckles but nothing major and the black and white was really lush looking.

I enjoyed it. It told the story leisurely, not rushing through anything, and making the story pretty up front for 1947 when it was filmed. I mean, there was no doubt that O'Hara was basically raped on her wedding night or that Rex Harrison was engaged in an open affair with another woman while still married.

AMERICAN IDOL had pretty much a dud show tonight. I didn't think the BeeGees/Gibb music would be especially suitable for solo singers, and I was right.

Melinda was solidly professional on both her songs. I thought Blake did much better than the judges gave him credit for doing. I wasn't nearly as impressed with Jordin's first song as they were and felt both of her songs pointed up her basic weaknesses: a weak low end, a shaky head voice, and pitch problems in her upper belt range.

As for LaKisha, she was my least favorite tonight. As she has done with almost every single mentor the show has had, she totally ignored the advice on both of her songs, and they were the poorer for her choices.

My order:

Melinda, Blake, Jordin, and LaKisha. I think LaKisha should go home.

VERONICA MARS had one of th simpliest cases in the three year history of the show. Really, not very mysterious at all, and way more sentimental than the show has ever been.

Interesting twist with Keith's situation in his bid for sheriff, but the Veronica plot tonight was really feeble. You can tell that the writers' hearts just aren't in these stand alone episodes.

...Just had to get that out of the way...  In any case...

I had a wonderful time tonight in the bowels of the Schoenfeld Theatre.  That orchestration - even though some of it has been adjusted for the revival - is truly thrilling in places.  And since the orchestra is in a room under the stage, I was in true "Surround Sound".

It was also neat/good to realize that piano part is basically the same.  There is more exposed stuff in the Tap Dance sequence - which I still feel is a few ticks too fast - but there are other parts where the piano part is simpler.  There's no real opening right now in the pit - well, maybe, but... - but if I were to be called in as an emergency sub, I really don't think I'd have any issues playing the book.

*And there was one bit of "excitement" tonight to up above...  Apparently, something happened to the actress who plays Val, and she was rushed to the hospital after the Montage sequence - luckily, everyone leaves the stage for "Music and the Mirror" anyway.  So, when the cast came back on for the "One" rehearsal sequence, the swing was now playing Val.  And she's a redhead - the "real" Val is blond.  So...  We all wondered just how long it took for the audience to notice the change, if they did at all.  ;)   Needless to say, the "Alternatives" sequence was a bit "interesting".  -So, what would you do if you couldn't dance anymore?

So, back from the verge of the Apocalypse.

After a call from my DM, I went out to the street to see if I could see any of the chaos up in Griffith Park (it is where I usually run on wonderfully beautiful, sunny days like today was), as I hadn't really been out to check it out today.  I walked about halfway up the block to see if there was anything in relation to the billion-dollar-fresh-off-the-remodel Griffith Observatory, which I can see from here, to find that there was a flank of the fire within a half-mile at most.  As I stood and described it to my DM, I decided to be like every other tenant in my complex and head up to the roof to see what I could see...

And it looked like a warzone.  The flank I saw was the westmost point of the fire - the wind was blowing all of the smoke to the east, and in doing so, it illuminated the other licks of flame that were dotting the hills.  Very creepy to see all of that happening so close to my apartment.

Luckily, it isn't threatening (nor do I think it will) my area, but it is still very scary to stand up there and watch fires raging so close to you.  Along with the rest of humanity up there, filming and taking pictures...

Nothing like mankind's obsession towards those things that have the power to destroy it.

They once did a "controlled burn" across the road from my house at the lake (it's really in the country)  They had no fire department there and it was acres and acres burning.  They had told the county that they would have adequate people there to keep the fire under control.  2 guys with shovels.   The fire almost jumped the road to my trees.

We had no notice about it. When I went outside and looked across the road, all I could see was flames.   It was terrifying.  I have photos somewhere. One of a firetruck someone called who is driving away from the flames...it wasn't their jurisdiction and it was a "controlled burn"

He is in the hospital being treated for burns.

ASSOCIATED PRESS (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,270815,00.html)

Quote
The man, possibly homeless, told investigators he fell asleep while smoking and was burned on his stomach and shoulders, said a high-ranking city official who requested anonymity since the arson unit had not announced its findings.

"The man claims he fell asleep on the trail, and his injuries appear to be consistent with that version," the official said.

And it looks like I'll be even more errant and truant -- got a 911 call this morning from the theatre up in Sedona that was doing TALKING WITH -- one of the cast members bailed and they open this Thursday.  So, based on the rec from a friend of mine who has done some work with them, they were wanting to know I'd take on the Lila character who does the Lamps monologue.  Call me crazy, but I said yes....

I have taken some tylenol and some emergency leftover Easter candy kisses in preparation for the board meeting in an hour.

((hugs))

Arrest made
LAPD Deputy Chief Charlie Beck said the 20-year-old being treated at the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks was arrested and booked on suspicion of careless disposal of a cigarette. LAPD sources had earlier said the man said had accidentally set the fire while smoking in the hills above the Greek Theatre.
