And the word of the day is: RECUMBENT!
Good Morning Jo Jo-
Can one get JAZZUP BROADWAY on the Internet?
It's going to be a LAZY AFTERNOON
Not for me, much to do...I need to put plastic up on the bedroom windows. It's really helping in the livingroom. This morning when I went to get the paper, I noticed all the air coming in around the door, so while still in my pjs, I got the foam tape out and went around the door. It makes a huge difference.
I also have to hang miniblinds in the kitchen. I couldn't figure out why that window and another feels so exposed...well duh, I cut down 8 trees last spring. So windows that were blocked in the past are no longer blocked. That means new window treatments will be in order and miniblinds are the easiest.
Then I'm going to sign up for Curves. Usually this time of the year you can get a registration fee waived or at least discounted or even free to the end of the year.
Finally I'm going to go get a freezer. At least I can schedule the delivery.
And then....I need to vacuum the whole house and I want to set up the book shelves in the basement and empty all the boxes of books.
Then it should be time to watch TAR
And the word of the day is: RECUMBENT!Emmet, the RECENT BUM, found his life had only partially changed after he got himself a job at the megamart. After spending entire the workday on his feet, he couldn't wait to get RECUMBENT again on his couch.
Well, I believe I'm going to head out and make a take a stroll through Carytown (http://www.carytown.org/) for a bit... Then I can start thinking about my transportation options for tomorrow. ;)
Laters...
And how, dear Jane, have you only "just" received that catalogue? It's Sunday - no mail delivery. Did you forget to pick up the mail yesterday?
Or was Keith hiding it? :o ;D
Der Brucer is now complaining about how much data-entry we have to do on our CD database. I can guess who he intends to do the data-entry. ::)
DR td thanks for the Hawaiian Oklahoma!
DR td - the Bette clip you posted last night was pretty hilarious! Thank you. :)
My favorite episode of LOVE AMERICAN STYLE featured Mr Alan Sues as a baker who was trying to sell a wedding cake so that he could afford to get married. The couple he had made it for broke up over some minor incident, so he was trying to get them back together.
Alan Sues was always very funny.
I just received a See's Christmas catalog. You can now order a box of chocolates with your hand picked favorites. :) If only they had this option when I lived on the east coast.
I ran into him a couple of times in the late 1980s; we worked on a production of Jerome Kern's SALLY. He was very nice and interesting.
I'm watching the new BattleStar Galatica movie. It's ok.
I believe they're talking about BG-Razor.
I believe I shall be traveling back to NYC by plane tomorrow mid-day. Right now, the prices for JetBlue and Amtrak are virtually the same, so... Yes, I could have booked cheaper flights if I had booked them a couple of weeks ago, but... I'm looking at this trip home and back as the one Disney paid for. ;)
Have you noticed that can't order their chocolate covered cherries through the catalogue? I have sent See's to various people after they moved from the west coast and have also managed to get a few midwesternerers hooked on See's.
I haven't noticed, but then I don't eat chocolate covered cherries. I noticed the catalogue doesn't have the dark chocolate covered peanuts. The stores don't always have them either. Can you always get the cherries in store?
Happy Travel Vibes
Do you ever check this Site (http://www.airfarewatchdog.com)? It is supposed to have last minute bargains.
From Friday's NYTimes... You can not blame The Enabler for this one. ;)

So what have I missed?
Hi Jane! I'm working at a local community college, and loving it. Dakota, what are you healing from?
Thanks, Dakota. I wish you the best, too. I know how awful it can be, being stuck in a job that slowly sucks the life out of you.
Are you allowed to take cough syrup or a suppressant?
BTW, the Christmas special should be interesting. It is about the Titanic. It is called Voyage of the Damned.
Quote from DakotaCelt yesterday:When...when...when? Where...where...where?
Good Evening!...
Yep, the airfares seem to be dropping again. :)
Anyone remember Mystery Science Theatre 3000?
Woo Hoo!

Let's hear all about Debi. We've heard All About Eve, so now it's Debi's turn.
