If that bastard thinks I'm paying him more than $25 million for that property, he's got another thing coming.
Will we never get to page two?
People usually need a month warning before I visit so they can leave town, relocate, change phone numbers, whatever.
What happens the older you get?
I love you all today
Good morning, all! The alarm went off at 6:30 but I slept in until 8:30. My nly prssing business today is to

Check this out!
Isn't today DR singdaw's travel day back to the East Coast?
Page 3 already?
My goodness but Miss Karen padded the forum well this morning.
Safe travel vibes for tour flight to the Southlands, Ron. The weather should be lovely when you arrive.
(Well, actually, it already is!)
Quick question: Is it Hanukkah or Chanukah? Or are both spellings acceptable?
DR Ron Pulliam - DR singdaw is currently and/or just was down in the San Diego La Jolla area with his DP. Oh, and with his Kindle too. ;)
Of course, chopslaw will have to READ the book. So it needs a title to catch his eye.
"I Never Singdawed For My Father" might work.
And as for lunch, let's see... There's that great falafel and schwarma place up a block from here... The Go-Go-Curry place two blocks from here... Macy's food court... A couple of "point and pray" steam table Chinese food places... Oh, that Chinese bakery with the really good custard and red bean buns... The fried chicken and fish place across the street... The one deli/food bar place that always seems to have some interesting Mediterranean meze...
DR Ron Pulliam - Has DR MissKaren been sending you some of her homegrown organic?
How long has she been supplying YOU?
Quick question: Is it Hanukkah or Chanukah? Or are both spellings acceptable?
Hey, ELMO!
Hw r ths vwls dng nw?
Apparently the threat of having someone visit Dress Circle to discuss the lack of responses to my e-mails got me a response. A rude, unacceptable response, but a response. And apparently the wire transfer of their overdue invoice is on its way, which I'll believe when it arrives. But, it's their last order with me - I will not put up with their accountant's childish behavior and game-playing any longer and they can get our product elsewhere.
Right now, I'm watching last night's "Boston Legal." I didn't really care for this episode.
Anybody wanna join me for lunch?
I went to the griffith Observatory today for the first time since the re-model. It is really very nice, and the new show planetarium show is well put together. No more lasarium shows though, which is sad. I remember seeing a laser show to Dark Side of the Moon there. Fond childhood memories.
It's the part of travel I'm least good at....deciding what I'm going to need and later discovering I left something crucial behind and, worse, that I've packed more than I can use.

We gave up on Boston Legal this season and from what I read here, I'm sure we made the right decision.
You have my sympathies, Ron--I loathe deciding what to take.
I think you're very rude to make fun of my new keyboard.
Jeanne, why don't you have that person the TSA always asks you about ("has anyone else packed your bag"?) do it for you?
From Keith's example and all my emergency trips home I always keep a toiletry bag backed, we both do. Within that I now keep a separate baggie with those little 3 oz bottles in case I fly.
I will need a separate suitcase just for my Prozac when we fly to NC in January. ;)
But, Jane, dirty clothes always take up more room than clean ones! That's always the case with me. I don't know why.
Keith doesn't enjoy traveling anymore. He is happy to stay at home. I still have much of the world I want to see, not that I want to get there by plane or step into another airport.
Just think if you had your own jet you could leave extra clothes & things on the plane. Best of all we could go almost anywhere with Sherlock.
Ron I carry food with me. I thought you just can't take water from home.
Great idea keeping stuff at your mother's. My problem with toiletries is my allergies. I can't put just any product on my skin or hair & I have always made a practice of carrying those items on the plane with me in case my luggage is lost.
Ron, I don't think there are any problems with carrying glass. I carried an entire set of vintage mixing bowls when I went to visit my sister. No problem.
I'm back. I forgot, Ron will you be posting while you are away? I seem to recall you don't.
If not, have a great trip and a very merry Christmas! Even if you do, have a great trip and a very merry Christmas!
Oh... And I haven't had Indian food in a while... And there's also Djerdan for Balkan food - amazing bureks!... I'm also not that far from 'wichcraft in Bryant Park... Restaurant Forte Baden Baden for Korean style fried chicken - and the deep-fry the garlic cloves too!... The Korean kimbab (sushi rolls) place... Etc., etc., etc.
grumble, grumble, grumble
Wow, you never showed me any of these places! Djerdan, next time I am in NY...OK!
I'd much rather have gone to lunch with DR Jose.
Yes DR Jose, I saw sights I'd never seen before.
I ended the afternoon skimming through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. The gay characters were on, so I enjoyed the scenes with them. They were not in the previews for tomorrow.

And since I don't think everyone has sampled my Chocolate-Chip-Oatmeal-Pecan-Toffee Cookies... Hmm... -I believe DR Jane liked them. :)
Hmm... I think I have a new favorite Stevie Wonder song, "All In Love Is Fair". :)
Hmm... I think I have a new favorite Stevie Wonder song, "All In Love Is Fair". :)
The Humane Society sent me a video of the undercover investigation that put the posh Pets of Bel Air Pet Shop, pet boutique to the rich and famous, out of business. If you want to see the video, and/or sign the pledge to put puppy mills out of business, Click Here (https://community.hsus.org/campaign/stoppuppymills_poba/ine58362o7nk5357?)
Hmm... I wonder if we could have some sort of Virtual Lunch or maybe even just a Virtual Snack. A couple of us DRs could send out a particular treat to the other DRs. And then at a certain time on a certain day, we could all bite into said treat at the same moment. -And, then, of course, post our reactions. And since I don't think everyone has sampled my Chocolate-Chip-Oatmeal-Pecan-Toffee Cookies... Hmm... -I believe DR Jane liked them. :)
But I ain't go no set up assistant.
I thought Boo showed up at your house and insisted she belonged to you. :)
We got a kitten from a pet store once; it was the day DR Sandra learned how to get what she wants from a man. Her dad didn't stand a chance.
The kitten was sort of a rescue; the pet store took in the litter of kittens that was bound for the pound. Sandra made payments on him over several weeks out of her allowance.
Ron, sorry about the ipod. Can you get a postponement on the jury duty date since it conflicts with the follow-up appointment.
Hmmmmmm, missing a consonant there, I see. Are you using my keyboard? :)
Jury duty for a dental appointment? D'ya think it'd fly?
Since it is a follow-up appoint for root canal, it might.
I have a ton of music downloaded onto my iPod now.
Perhaps tomorrow I can post some southern CA photos.
We are due for bad weather tomorrow - the remnants of the horrible midwestern wintern storm.
I know I should watch more John Ford, but I'm not sure I'm in the mood.

DR Ron Pulliam - no, didn't get as far north as Rodeo Drive!
Speaking of tombstones....
Keith asked me when I'm going to clean up the clutter on my desk. I said "I made a big dent." He looked at me & said he is putting that on my tombstone. ;D
I'm going to be taking photos like crazy during my trip home.
I 'spect there'll be some old tombstones among them, plus some family gravesites, as well. My mom, my aunt and I make the rounds placing flowers on the graves during the holidays.
DR Ron - is the camera for your Mom a surprise? Do you have to keep yours "under wraps" until she opens hers?
I like that. It has been awhile since we have made the rounds. We follow the Jewish tradition of leaving stones at the graves.
What is the significance of the stones? And do you expect them to be there when you return?
Oh my gosh! Someone apparently needs to wind Larry up a bit more after he sleeps in. He lost a couple of vowels...
From the I thought I had seen it all department;
A PhD dissertation entitled: A Rhetorical Analysis of Cher
Jury duty for a dental appointment? D'ya think it'd fly?
Where did the 1970s go? Anyone here remember them fondly?
It is nice the doctor's office sent me the form to fill out before my next visit. Usually I have to do it in office. I think I'll copy this one and save it for future reference. These forms always ask the date for everything. I can't remember this stuff without looking it up.
and would it be wrong to attend the next concert armed with a water pistol to squirt Chatty Cathys and Blabbermouth Bobs?
Oh, surely you can do a very unmistakable version of The Look, can't you?
I gave up on David Kelly about two dramatic series earlier than BOSTON LEGAL.
DR MBarnum - ...But first, I still need to take you on a full lap around The Reservoir.
I thought Boo showed up at your house and insisted she belonged to you. :)

If you have a second address. ;)
Now that I'm on the Humane Society email list I receive up-dates & various petitions to sign. It is nice when I read the accomplishments such as:
1. The last two states -- New Mexico and Louisiana -- outlawed cockfighting, and Congress passed a seminal law strengthening penalties for animal fighting
2. Horse slaughter was finally eliminated on U.S. soil when Texas and Illinois shut down the last remaining slaughterhouses in the nation.
Southeast corner of McDowell and Scottsdale was Los Arcos Mall then. Was it there?
DR Sandra got her kitten in a strip mall at Scottsdale and Thomas. An acquaintance of mine had a pet shop there.
Is Keith buying this tombstone in advance?
Los Arcos was torn down a few years ago. I'm not exactly sure what it is now, but it is a joint venture of ASU and the City.
Not to mention that sex with horses was finally outlawed in Washington this year!
OH! And Edi, congratulations on becoming a Predisaurus!!!
Did anyone see today's Top Five Tips on CNN about office parties?
The number one tip to remember, emblazened on the CNN screen: "IT IS NOT A PARTY."
((((((((((((DAKOTACELT))))))))))))
I have been thinking about you all day today wondering how you were making out.....
A "Preditor", LOL!
But not to be confused with:
I guess my first job as a preditor was OK---the TLC client loved the spot and so it will be onlined tomorrow, but we never did get approval from any of the higher-ups. Hope *they* like it!
Thank you Vixmom....
I have my moments and yesterday I had a major catharsis and had to really work to pull myself together again. I miss him terribly.
However Ace did have one problem, he attacked men wearing white socks....
NEVER!! A preditor simply catches the best moments!!!
Jose, don't you charge extra for the full lap?
DR Jose, did you tell me how you ended up at the Grape Leaf Grill? That is indeed the place I was speaking of...
Ask BK: Are you doing your annual Spaghetti Dinner on Dec. 24th?
Terrible weather Thursday, tax office party on Friday, terrible weather Saturday - that's the forecast in this neck of the woods
