OK - this is about to go viral, so I can tell you all that, as of last Thursday (yes, April Fool's Day), Rob and Mary Linda are engaged:
The Big Announcement (http://secure.smilebox.com/ecom/openTheBox?sendevent=4d5455354e7a51314d7a4e384d7a55304d4451774d54513d0d0a&sb=1)
They will probably wait to get married until Rob finishes his paramedic training next summer (2011).
And speaking of Mt. Rainier...
Although I can't make it out there for Brain, it does look like I'll finally be paying a visit to my aunt in Seattle sometime this summer, since my cousin will be getting married. -I haven't been back to Seattle since I was 9-years old.
DR Jennifer - Are these the Peanut Butter Eggs in question?
I saw Alice in Wonderland. I sort of enjoyed it (Merrily).
I so rarely see movies (I think 99.99% of what's out there is unmitigated crap and I'm not going to spend $12.75 or more to see it) that I can't even begin to answer the question
The last motion picture I saw (not necessarily a new motion picture) was "Red Garters." I always love seeing and hearing Rosemary Clooney, and I love Joanne Gilbert.Terrible movie. Interesting concept. Great color. Good cast. Terrible movie.

And the word of the day is: OBDURATE!
No Hit Paraders for sure, DR MATTH - but they get the job done! And the singers probably make them sound better than they are.
Somewhat little known factoid about the current production of Anyone Can Whistle at City Center:For the better, I hope. They certainly were not attractive in "Birdie."
A good chunk of the costumes for the ensemble were "recycled" from the recently closed version of Bye, Bye Birdie. They certainly make a nice "rainbow".

I am also curious if people would like to see betty end up with daniel. I don't read spoilers so don't want to know till i watch. But last night they implied that this could be the way they go. I'd have to see it played out. But right now i think it is a terrible idea. They have never shown these two to have any romantic feelings towards each other. And they make the most wonderful best friends.
I watch SHERLOCK HOLMES the other night. Utterly entertaining and also utter tosh! Predictable plot (figured out the major twist before there was one). Does not allow the audience to play detective along with Holmes. Nor is there anything about the movie that distinguishes it as Sherlock Holmes. It could have been any Victorian detective and his sidekick solving this mystery. Rather like Jude Law's Watson more than Downey's Sherlock. Sherlock is indulgent and self-absorbed, but not in the way Downey (or the script ) made him. It also falls victim to what too many movies do these days...louder, bigger, and overwrought with CGI and special effects. I think drama is still about people.
Saw MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS. Found it amusing and laughed a lot. Enjoyed all the actors. Story peters out a bit at the end. Most amazing is the true stuff it's based on.
Best thing I've seen lately is a documentary about playwright John Osborne called JOHN OSBORNE AND THE GIFT OF FRIENDSHIP. Absolutely mesmerizing! The more I read by and about Osborne, the more I want to read. A fascinating artist!
...it sure wasn't Arthur Conan Doyle...
DR GINNY are you and DH RICHARD thinking about making the trek over for the Friday, April 16, performance of BRAINEX at Buck Creek Players?
I think that is when MR BK is planning to see the show.....
I can arrange the tickets on Sunday if you do.
It's the 100th episode of BONES tonight, and the show flashes back to Booth and Bones' first case together (not the case in the pilot which I had heretofore thought was their first case.) Can't wait to see this. Zach is back which should be lots of fun since he and Hodgins had such a amicable bromance.
Thursday is my Friday.
It's another hot day in New York City
I've done enough damage.
DR Jane - The Lindt/Lindor White Chocolate Mini Eggs are a seasonal item. I think they've only been around two or three years. -And, again, only available during the Easter season. If the Lindt store on 5th Avenue happens to have some left, would you like me to send you some?
The Lindt/Lindor Mini Eggs are basically their Truffles (balls) in egg form/shape. I like the Dark Chocolate and Double Milk ones.

DR Jennifer - Reese's is Hershey's. And vice versa.

Actually, they did that "romantic feelings" thing through last night's episode. Every time Daniel looked at Betty it was as if he were seeing her for the first time. None of Betty's past boyfriends would make a satisfying ending to me. I think Daniel WILL be the one...although whether it's for romance or whether it's for a closer professional relationship, I cannot say. Oh, no! I cannot say. But...we shall see. Oh, yes! We shall see! As for how Betty feels about Daniel, I think that a change in his tone toward her -- one of an ardent suitor, or one of a peer affirming that status with a professional offer -- I believe she would go for it in a heartbeat. And she would get to stay in NYC with her family and friends. I cannot see her in London...although that may well be where she ends up.
Loved the possibilities of the gun shot last night. Just desserts, perhaps????
That's a lot of nose in 3-D!!

LOL!
I still haven't forgiven him for the remake of KING KONG. Or anyone else involved in that interminable turkey.

I wonder if the next Adrien Brody movie will be in 3-D?

Only if Debra Messing is his co-star.

I saw the way they made daniel contemplate what betty means to him. But to me this is too sudden. He has never shown any interest in her and was in fact dating amanda just last week. If they do decide to go the betty/daniel route i hope it is just a vague beginning of what could be and not some declaration of love. I won't buy that for a minute. Nor do i think betty would go for it. I don't see her feeling romantic towards him.
Btw, i'm not saying that they wouldn't have betty going for it. I just don't see the betty i know acting that way.
DR Jane, will you and Keith be going to the Brain from Planet X in Olympia?
JMK, will you be going?
I am presuming that it is an evening performance that BK is attending. If that is the case I may find a hotel nearby and spend the night, and bring Bosco along as well.
I guess I am needing further info.
Thanks to DR ELMORE for the ANYONE CAN WHISTLE report.
I went to the Theatre's website to inquire about tickets for BRAIN FROM PLANET X but could not find any info to see what time the show was or to buy tickets for the 29th.
Georeg, is there a place to find this info? Or do they not list it until it get's closer to when the show opens?
Well, I tested the air a few minutes ago and it doesn't like me. Though the fever broke yesterday, I found that after five minutes of watering the plants and gathering some greens for a salad that I was dizzy. So, it's off to the doctor in the morning. I know it's all related to the heavy oak pollen, but, dang, it's weird. So, I guess I'll stay in and write as I can.
I think that BK said he would be there on the 29th, Is that correct? If I come up for the play I would like to be there for the whole HHW experience.

April 30th is the date BK said. That's our official opening night.

We finished SHERLOCK HOLMES last night. Totally agree with your assessment. It was better than many of the reviews had led us to believe, but it sure wasn't Arthur Conan Doyle. Of course it looks like they set things up for a sequel with that little coda vis a vis Moriarty.
DR Elmore, was "There's Always A Woman" included in this ANYONE CAN WHISTLE?

In the pilot, isn't it rather clear that she and Booth have worked in the past? She gives him hell about his having her stopped at the airport. Of course, I've been watching Season One every day for the past week so I'm really good about the first year!
Brody is most intrusive in HOLLYWOODLAND.....every time the story left George Reeves to concentrate on Brody's situation, I was incensed at the waste of time.....
Who cares? It was the story of George Reeves.....or should have been.
I liked Guy Ritchie's ROCK N ROLLA....actually.,
DR Ginny, CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!! I know this has made you very happy, your future daughter-in-law seems like a gem.
Their announcement on FB is very nice :)
Then I watched the GLEE ON OPRAH episode in HD. Loved seeing the cast perform and answer questions. They seem like great people. Jane Lynch looked FABULOUS! Matthew Morrison is one talented guy!
Well I am off to our dress rehearsal where we performed for a can of green beans.
Pray for Rosemary's Baby.
It is the debut of THE COSTUME & WIG.

I had read that Guy Ritchie was planning a sequel while this first film was still in production. The overwhelming box-office success of the movie merely clinched the deal.
Well I am off to our dress rehearsal where we performed for a can of green beans. Was that the pay or the audience?
I like that song, but felt it bogged down the action when it was included in the Bernadette Peters/Madeleine Kahn version. but then, as you have said, that whole production was somehow bogged down.DR Elmore, was "There's Always A Woman" included in this ANYONE CAN WHISTLE?
No. It was lost in Boston.
Wonder if there's enough footage where somebody could re-edit it into the movie it should have been. Affleck gave one of his better performances in that one.Brody is most intrusive in HOLLYWOODLAND.....every time the story left George Reeves to concentrate on Brody's situation, I was incensed at the waste of time.....
Who cares? It was the story of George Reeves.....or should have been.
Oh, boy, those were my exact feelings, and I have stated them here on several occasions. I despised every minute of the personal story of Adrian Brody's character. His ONLY purpose should have been in the investigation of the Reeves death. All of his personal baggage RUINED the movie.
I still haven't found the key i was looking for. And i've searched and searched. It is driving me crazy.
I'm 99% it's in my bedroom. But it's always been in one place under a rug in a little case. I've tried to see if maybe i moved the case, although i don't see why i would have done that.
bK, would you please make up your mind what date you are going to Olympia for that play! Us HHWers have to make our plans!

There may be another chance for a HHW get-together a bit later in the year, but more I cannot say at this time. :)
Gee, I wonder if Rob and Mary Linda will be able to find a minister to perform the ceremony?
Does opening night not work? I didn't realize that. Maybe the week after then. That might be better anyway.
CHECK BOOK FINDING VIBES TO DR GEORGE!
HEALING VIBES TO FRIEND MARGO!!
Gee, I wonder if Rob and Mary Linda will be able to find a minister to perform the ceremony?
Well, the one at hand is only licensed in Ohio...
Thanks for the link, DR td. I was shocked at the information that's available. I had a good laugh when it showed the value of my condo as $1M. I'd hate to tell you what the latest assessment shows!
I looked at that site several days ago. It showed my deceased mother living with me. There's a lot of inaccuracies. Like my million-dollar house.

True, Jrand. The trouble is that there aren't that many people going to movies that know George Reeves.
I am thinking that Friday, April 16, would be fine....I would take that day off from work....a sacrifice...NOT....
If that is confirmed for you MR BK, I will be glad to let the cast know you are coming and arrange the tickets for you (tell me if you need more than one). Bryan and I are still planning to go on Sunday....so I will get a preview.
I have something very important to share with my fellow HHWers:
Spokeo is an "online phone book" that puts your name, address, annual income, your home's value, the number of people in your home (sometimes even a photo of your home), among other information, online for all to see. In some cases, it's surprising the amount of information they've accumulated for their entries. If you're not comfortable with this being done (especially since it's not done with your knowledge or consent), you may want to drop by the site and see the information on your listing. If you want them to remove this information, go to the website and bring up your listing. Then go down to the lower right hand corner of the page and click on "privacy" for instructions on how to have the listing removed.

I have been trying to get the word out to as many people as possible. There is too much private information being shared on that site.
Yes, it will be fun, DR DakotaCelt. You won't see much of Cincinnati, but it's too good an opportunity to pass up for a midwest HHW meet-up!

It had all the info wrong. i wouldn't worry too much about it, but I requested ot be removed anyway
Two things I learned this week.
Farm country is stinky after a heavy rain.
Do not drive when it's really dark. There are no street lights.
So I'll just stay home at night, and party on Main Street. :)
What do you expect from a whore?

See earlier post - he's quoting Janet Leigh's final line in An American Dream.
Gee, I wonder if Rob and Mary Linda will be able to find a minister to perform the ceremony?
DR George - I hope you find your checkbook and driver's license. Our DN (dear niece) Lauren stopped by here Sunday evening to see Mary Linda's ring and the next morning we found her license and a credit card in the chair she'd sat in. Rob texted her right away and she was able to stop by before the end of the day to pick them up.
The only wrong info on Spokeo for me was my million dollar house. . .the phone number, my age, my address AND my income were all correct.
Jose, you had better plan enough time in Seattle this summer for a HHW get-together
