And just how does one pronounce, "Schuylkill"?
And the word of the day is: INTERLARD!

Well it is our very own Julie, but probably not the one you're thinking of. She's my Pops member who visited NYC a few years ago.

What do you expect from a lesbian?
What do you expect from Cary Grant playing Cary Grant playing Cary Grant?
Oy! This morning I have to put up with the dog above me barking. Oh, for euthanasia! I am very happy that i'm heading down to Toyland now. It will soothe my murderous thoughts.

Vibes for DR George to find his driver's licence and check book. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you don't find your check book this morning will you have to call your bank to make sure that nobody writes any checks (should someone find it).
So, I wonder if any of the reviews of "Anyone Can Whistle" and "The Addams Family" will note the similiarity of themes in both shows dealing with conformity and what's deemed normal. Probably not. I was shocked among the reviews to read John Simon's four-star piece on the latter. Probably the most positive review of the lot.

And just how does one pronounce, "Schuylkill"?
It's generally pronounced "Skoo - kull" but the correct Dutch pronunciation is "Skowl - kill"
DR GINNY - four tickets
MR BK - How many tickets do you need for April 16? One week from today!
I have today off. I just returned from a free visit (I have a two week pass) to the recently opened ANYTIME FITNESS. It is closer to my home then the two GOLD'S gyms, so I am checking it out to see if I am liable to use it more should I decide to join.

You know, Promises, Promises ran for 1200 performances, got great reviews, and audiences loved it. It does not need Mr. Ashford's help, nor Miss Chenoweth's and Mr. Simon should tell them all to go take a flying leap. If they can't play the show as written quit or do another show. I am so heartily sick of these people thinking they're better than the material. Miss Cheoweth, who is, in my opinion, miscast, wants the character CHANGED for her. What's next? Let's change Harold Hill if the actor playing him is wrong for the role or too untalented to play it as written.
George, I'd probably see the show on the 7th - do the talkback if they like - have our get-together, and then fly home on the 8th.
What do you expect from a lesbian?
I loved the Cillaliz reaction to this very same exclamation in a post last night. It reminded me of the last visit/last post of the much-venerated BrettySpaghetti (in his third "return" visit). Bretty thought my one-word posting of "Doody" in large letters was referencing his previous post (which immediately preceded my "Doody" post). To that he said it reminded him why he kept leaving HainesHisWay.
Ye need thicker skin than that to survive the everchanging moods of HainesHisWay!
Cilla got it right, though. Assume nothing and just ask what it meant.
:D

District 9 is terrific. 2012 is DREADFUL. I usually enjoy the Roland Emmerich epics, but this one insulted every fiber of my being. Instead, why not pick up "Moon"....a wonderful, very unexpected, and totally satisfying sci-fi film.

I've begun watching SOUTH PACIFIC, a little every night. It has been years & years since I've seen it.
Today the mail brought the next Criterion Blu-ray: the masterpiece 'M.' Guess when it comes out? May 11th! That's over a month of lead time that Criterion is giving me.
Fox was three days AFTER street date with COCOON.
It boggles the mind.
Hi George. ;D
