I do advise everyone to listen to the audio samples - if you are easily offended this one might not be for you :)
Not really the TOD- but I too, have had a sinus headache for almost 2 days now. I never get them. It's not as bad today, but yesterday was bad.
Monday morning greetings! It's rather gray and gloomy here in SW Ohio today, but my day was brightened considerably by a nice phone conversation with DR Elmore. He does, indeed, sound like he has a cold, so we've put off plans for getting together until after Thanksgiving Day.Congrats on the last rehab session. That's something to be thankful for.
I have my last session at the cardiac rehab gym today.
Vibes for DR Cilla's father. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Ditto.

I love ALL of the Sherman Brothers' work on BUKOWSKICAL.LOL!
What?
And the word of the day is: CHRESTOMATHY!
TOD:Yeah, I agree on "Over Here!"It's full of treasures.
Stay Awake
Feed The Birds
Chim-Chim-Cherie
Just about the entire score of OVER HERE!

Oh, hehe. guess I should read the notes.I just noticed your avatar is now "A Christmas Carol." I wish I could watch that TV version of that one again. As awful as it is (and much is really bad), I enjoy Kelsey Grammar as Scrooge and Jane K. I have it on video but the video player died earlier this year. Haven't decided if/when I'll be replacing that.

I laugh (and cry) whenever I hear about revival rumors for this show. Can you imagine them doing it with just fifteen pieces in the pit?

DR JohnG - it's a great musical version of the show. I've been doing it seasonally for 4 years now. I kinda liked the movie as it featured some great actors, especially Claire Moore as Mrs Fezziwig. I love the score and it's been a great way to get into the holiday season.
My cast has been rehearsing since mid-October, can't wait to see them next week!
Good Afternoon!I love Richmond this time of year, though it's been more than a decade since I was there at Christmas. I remember going into a wonderful old hotel that was all decorated for the season. Very Southern and genteel. I'll have to get my sister to tell me what the name of that place was.
Well... I started to pack my clothes for my trip... Then I checked the weather forecast for the week... It's supposed to be 70 degrees(?!?!?) tomorrow in Richmond, with temps in the 60s for the rest of the week. So... I just threw a bunch of clothes into my duffel, and I'm hoping for the best. ::)

The Jefferson Hotel (http://www.jeffersonhotel.com/index.aspx)
-One of my favorite places in Richmond. -And the possible "inspiration" for the big staircase in "Gone With The Wind".

Off to have a bean burger for lunch. This is a San Antonio creation in which you top the burger patty with cheese (originally Cheez-Whiz, though cheddar is much better), refried beans and Frito's (also created in San Antonio). Some add guacamole, salsa, jalapenos, you name it.
Spirit magazine, the Southwest Airlines mag, contacted me about doing a short piece on the five best places in town to get these local faves. I'm off to a restaurant called the Lord's Kitchen, which has a three-pound Meet Your Maker burger on the menu.
Now I think I want to buy The Sherman Bros Songbook CD.
AFter sleeping 2 nights on the bed that used to be in my guest room, my neck doesn't hurt anymore. Glad I made the change.
They are having a 50% off sale at a nice mens clothing store next to a coffee shop. I'm thinking I'll get my dad a sweater this year. I called to get his size and he answered (that's unusual) and I found out he's waiting for the nurse to call about a prescription. He's not feeling any better.
DR Jane - Was/is that the one?
Jane - Not only is there a coffee flavor, but we actually had some in the freezer.
Here are some cute kitties. This may have been posted, and if so, I'm sorry. But they are adorable.

Well, I'm now a proud graduate of Cardiac Rehab Phase 2 at Atrium Medical Center. One of the nurses relayed a quote from another patient: "This is a great health club, but the initiation fee is pretty steep!"

BK, too bad you can't reissue (and fix/finish) this CD:

...or can you?? ::)
This morning when I left for work, we were having another little snow flurry like yesterday. By the time I headed home from work we had four inches of snow, with heavy winds and more snow expected.

Congrats DR Ginny! I hope your cap and gown were pretty.
My goodness. Spats seems to feel pretty good. He is running and playing like crazy. Then he'll jump up on me and crawl onto my shoulder and purr in my ear.
I don't envy you. Not one flake. This morning when I left for work, we were having another little snow flurry like yesterday. By the time I headed home from work we had four inches of snow, with heavy winds and more snow expected.
And, having typed that, the snow has started.
TOD:To which I can only mention one of my least favorite Sherman Bros. songs: It's a small world, after all.
I don't know from the Sherman Bros.
If you'd asked for my favorite Laximikant Pyaralal songs, well then...
I really don't know what to do about this funeral tomorrow. a) I hate funerals and have just done one. b) that side of the family has not included me in any gatherings for about six years now. c) it's just falling on the craziest day - had it been today it would have been no problem, and had it been Wednesday it would have been no problem. But tomorrow I have got to finish the Carrie CD and I have a rehearsal and it's just sort of in the worst possible location to then get places. So, I think I may call and send my regrets.Regardless of what you feel about your family, what did you think of her? And make your decision about her. Maybe you can honor her memory in some other way that would be just as meaningful.

Yes, DR Laura, but it's expensive ($57/month, 8 visits) and not covered by insurance. I'm going to try self-motivation and exercising independently instead.

I think it was a cap and a hospital gown.
I really loved my Aunt Lillie - she's Aunt Lena in the Kritzer books. But, the funeral is thirty plus miles and it just makes everything else I have to do too difficult. My cousin Lori was great and I'm not the only one who can't do it due to other commitments and the distance.
Congrats on finishing the latest phase, Ginny. And vibes of support for embarking on the next phase on your own. If you lost that much weight on your own, I know you can handle the physical therapy on your own.
I'm glad he's home safe.

Thanks, DR Jane!
I'm also glad to read that Craig's trip has been completed - now you can exhale!
Yogi, Craig's dog is a nervous boy so we needed to be extra careful about introducing them on neutral territory. Technically a dog's regular walking area isn't considered neutral but then we weren't worried about Sherlock.
All went well except Sherlock was unusually happy having Craig home along with Yogi. Sherlock did something he hasn't done since he was a pup. He crashed into my knee. The good news is I was able to get back up off the ground walk. The bad news is I'm not walking well. I'm concerned how I will feel tomorrow. He caught me on the side of the knee which is better than head on.
CONGRATULATIONS TO DR GINNY!
Craig made it safely over the pass!!!!
I hope the dogs will get along well. Does it look promising? Hopefully better than Little Ricky and Boo and Callie started out.
I just washed Craig's duvet. What am I supposed to put in the dryer so it doesn't get lumpy?

Listening to Brent Barrett's "Christmas Mornings." Great work, bk and Elmore. Of course, it helps having a voice like Barrett's, too.

"Ride with Larry" is an inspirational story that puts a human face on the day-to-day fight against Parkinson's disease through the life of Larry Smith, a beloved small-town baker and avid cyclist who has had Parkinson's for 19 years.
This spring, with the support of his family and community Larry will bike across his state of South Dakota to raise awareness about the benefits of recumbent cycling and Parkinson's.
Larry demonstrates the power of keeping your body active and mind positive, proving that sometimes the best cure is living life to its fullest.
Join us and ride with Larry.

While at work on Saturday I listened to several Christmas albums. Needless to say Brent's is at the top of my list!

I was afraid to answer this one, since I have never had a lumpy duvet.
Oh Puhleese...someone actually sent a threatening letter with a white substance in it to Bristol Palin at the studio where they are filming Dancing with the Stars. People, this is a dance competition/popularity contest...nothing to get so obsessed about
Craig is unpacked & has made himself a sandwich. The dogs are hanging out in different areas of the kitchen, Sherlock next to me & Yogi next to Craig.
George enjoy your emergency leave.

Thanks! I will! We get 16 hours of emergency leave per year...non-cumulative. If it doesn't get used, it doesn't carry over to the next year. Emergency leave can only be used when the building is closed by the admin. We also get 16 hours of inclement weather leave (also non-cumulative), to be used whenever we feel that it's necessary.
This is a doc in production about a friend of mine and his wife. Larry has Parkinsons and has had for 19 years. this spring he is going to ride his bike across South Dakota for Parkinson's awareness. http://ridewithlarrymovie.com/

On DWS they just said "If you can't get in on the telephone line don't shoot your television" LOL

She was under the bed in Craig's room. Craig & Yogi just went in to the bedroom to see why she was crying. Yogi had to go so Sherlock can eat dinner. We want to keep them separate during feeding time as Yogi tends to protect his food.
I think I will vote before I watch the show. They let you start voting at 8pm. And I already know I am voting for Jennifer and Derek. I usually vote before the show by phone also. It makes it a lot easier to get through.

They haven't shown them yet, so I'm not sure. I think if they were well known they would have been advertised, but who knows

DR Jennifer, I have to say that if you're voting on how they danced, it is helpful to watch the dance...just saying

George, so what if you have a storm that makes it impossible to get to work for longer than that....or say 3 or 4 storms...do you just not get paid?
A 747 has just slid off the end of the runway at Sea-Tac Airport.
DR elmore - ~~~~~CRUD-BE-GONE VIBES TO YOU~~~~~
I actually think something was/has been going around the past couple of days in NYC. I know a bunch of people - myself included - that have been dealing with IPND - Insidious Post-Nasal Drip. Although, it probably was DR MBarnum's fault anyway. ;)

JMK, MBarnum, George! JEWS AND BASEBALL is coming to Portland on April 3rd!
I could not do what Larry is doing. He is an amazing person.
