Well, you've read the notes, the notes pondered various and sundried questions of WEHT, and now it is time for you to post until the WEHT cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: STERTOROUSLY!
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
Good Train Thoughts to Larry.
-
Oatmeal and coffee await me.

TOD
The first Sondheim show was one that I was in... Gypsy
The first one on Broadway was:
Sweeney Todd
Then all his shows after that up to Passions (missing Asassins) including revivals of West Side Story, Pacific Overtures (Off-Broadway), and the review show Putting It Together (Julie Andrews version) and regional productions of Company and Marry Me a Little.
-
The first read through of The Absilutely True Adventures of A Hollywood Assistant went well yesterday. Fine tuning ahead (Rewrite rewrite rewrite) Major change: Dropped one scene which was a monologue which doesn't work now that it is no longer one actor playing all the roles.
-
Good morning, all! I slept well, although I must have been possessed by the spirit of Cole Porter last ight. I dreamed I was composing "Just One Of Those Things" for Janet Leigh! Oy.
I have to tidy the apartment this morning, pack a few articles of clothing, and determine my travel reading. Around 10:30 I will head down to Penn Station. I hope the trains are on schedule today and I hope tomorrow's meeting goes well.
I have little else to report. I believe I saw the films of GYPSY and WEST SIDE STORY long before I ever knew who Stephen Sondheim was. I discovered A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM through my Latin class, in which we were translating Plautus' comedy MILES GLORIOSUS around 1966. My wonderful Latin teacher Robert Kane was a native New Yorker who'd seen every musical on Broadway and we listened to the cast recordings of FORUM and THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE during the semester of Plautus.
-
The Angela Lansbury GYPSY was the first Sondheim show I saw.
First Sondheim song I recall hearing was probably "Comedy Tonight" - my uncle was a big Zero Mostel fan, and I think I even heard the FORUM album before hearing WEST SIDE STORY or GYPSY.
Favorite song - probably "What More Do I Need?"
-
Have a great trip, Elmore!
-
Have a great trip, Elmore!
Thanks, DR Laura!
-
TOD:
I'm not sure which Sondheim show I saw on stage first. It was either GYPSY with Angela Lansbury or A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC with Jean Simmons.
They both played the Shubert in Los Angeles, but I don't recall which one was there first.
-
TOD if you're including movies, the first one I saw was West Side Story
-
I woke up to 10 inches of snow. I had no problem clearing the driveway, but the street hasn't been cleared and a Prius in 10 inches of snow isn't something I want to think about. Edith has the same sort of predicament so we will wait to go to work until the plows come through. Luckily I have my calendar and the phone numbers of the clients scheduled for today here at home so we were able to contact the 9:00 and tell him to stay home.
-
It's supposed to keep snowing until tomorrow noon.
-
Ok, time to get breakfast and take a shower so I'm ready to either keep working on the brief here or go to the office.
-
They are predicting snow here beginning late Tuesday night and into Wednesday. That might affect Dear Larry's return from DC.
Hope not!
-
The last predicted snow storm didn't really do any damage but they are saying we may get 6-12 inches of snow with this one.
-
And now I must call my PCP to make an appoint and fill him in on my life from December 10 through now.
-
I'm up, I've announced, and I'm going back to sleep and hoping that when I arise again we'll actually have some orders.
-
DR FJL may know the answer to this: what's going on wth "All That Chat"? It's been down for two days.
DR Ben, thanks for the weather update. I will have to play it by ear, I guess. My return ticket is for the 5:05 train, but if I can get on an earlier one, I may try to do that.
-
Good morning, all.
-
TOD: The first Sondheim song I ever heard may have been "Comedy Tonight" when the movie came on TV, although I might have heard someone singing something from "West Side Story" or "Gypsy" before that.
First show of his I saw on stage was a touring production of "Side by Side by Sondheim" with Hermione Gingold singing "I Never Do Anything Twice." First on Broadway was the original production of "Sunday" during rehearsals before "Children and Art" was added. Sucha beautiful song, but I was still in tears by the time the show ended.
Favorite song? Depends on the time of day and mood. Could be almost anything from "Follies"; "A Weekend in the Country"; "One Wonderful Day" or "What More Do I Need?"; or the version of "Johanna" where Sweeney is singing; or "Being Alive." There are too many to choose.
-
Train vibes for DR Elmore.
-
And I hope Janet Leigh does justice to "Just One of Those Things" when you get it finished.
-
Vibes of warmth for all who are snowed in.
-
Monday morning greetings! You've heard of Typhoid Mary? Well, I've been Nosebleed Ginny this morning, not an unusual condition when taking blood thinners. EMT Rob was most helpful.
-
Travel vibes to DR Elmore!
And, thank you to DRs DakotaCelt and Vixmom for the ones they posted for us last night. Richard and I will proceed with our packing and prep plans for today, but tomorrow's departure is very much in question.
-
That might explain my random nosebleeds! I have been taking fish oil (on my doctor's recommendation for cholesterol issues). He didn't mention that a side effect is that it can act as a blood thinner. I haven't had one for a while but I was getting nosebleeds out of nowhere. They would stop quickly but I didn't know what the heck was going on. I'll discuss it with my primary care doctor when I see him.
-
Which, by the way, will be on Thursday.
-
Good morning!
Have a good trip DR elmore! Check your HHW messages if you're still around!
-
And I hope Janet Leigh does justice to "Just One of Those Things" when you get it finished.
I'm decomposing now!
I'm shutting this computer down and heading out. See you all tomorrow night!
-
Good morning!
Have a good trip DR elmore! Check your HHW messages if you're still around!
I just answered you, DR KevinH! Thank you for the invitation. I'm sorry that I'm already booked tonight.
Ta!
-
Thicker blood vibes (?!) for DRs Ginny and Ben. (That sentiment just sounds odd, but it's meant in a spirit that exceeds its clumsy phrasing.)
-
Bye, DR Elmore, have a productive trip!
-
Watched the first few episodes of Glee on DVD this morning. I hadn't seen the show from the beginning and missed several episodes on TV. Gotta hate/love Sue Sylvester!
-
I'm sure the first "show" I saw was the film version of WEST SIDE STORY, which my sisters dragged me to probably 20 times when I was a toddler. I still remember huddling in the theater chair with my head buried in my arms waiting for the gunshot the "second" 19 times. :)
First show on Broadway was A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, which I saw right after it opened--only my two Uncles' connections to BK's close personal friend Stephen Sondheim got me a ticket. Years later, when I returned to NYC after the death of my second Uncle, I went to a matinee of PASSION, probably a week or two after the Tonys. It was still half empty, though as I've reported previously, I got to sit next to Mary Tyler Moore. :)

There's a sidebar in this morning's paper about the girl star of the new TRUE GRIT dissolving into tears on the Paramount lot when GLEE's Lea Michele refused to sign an autograph for her.
-
Early this morning, All That Chat was on for a while with a public message from Admin that they'd been hacked and not to post. No idea what's going on right now, but people were posting just fine very early this morning before that message form Admin wnet up..
-
DR Cillaliz - I really appreciate your professional input regarding the Tucson story. It seems weird, though, to have less than six degrees of separation with those involved.
-
There's a sidebar in this morning's paper about the girl star of the new TRUE GRIT dissolving into tears on the Paramount lot when GLEE's Lea Michele refused to sign an autograph for her.
I predict Lea Michele will soon be asking her for an autograph.
-
Good morning all!
Good train vibes to DR Elmore and stop the nose bleed vibes to DR Ginny.
Still waiting for Mr. AC/Heating man to arrive. I was told it would be between 9-12. If he doesn't show up by 11:30 I'm going to call into work and just tell them I'm taking the rest of the off.
By the time he would get here and who knows how long it will take him to fix the thing so it might be after 12. Then I have to get dressed for work and you figure it would take me about 20-30 minutes to drive in, pay for the cross town, pay 8 bucks to park, not to mention my gas for what? If I make to work by 1:00 maybe 3 1/2 hours of work? I have over 18 days on the books. It would be cheeper to stay home.
Funny in the old days I would have busted my butt to get to work even if it was only for an hour. Now, ehh.
-
DR Danise, did you check your circuit breaker? Maybe the one for the heater is kicked off?
-
DR Danise, did you check your circuit breaker? Maybe the one for the heater is kicked off?
Yes, Dan. That was one of the first things I did check because we have had a few power outages these past couple of days. I also made sure the filer was clean and installed a new one, just in case.
Those were the few things I knew to check.
-
The thing is that it is blowing cold air even when you have the heat setting on.
-
Opps make that filter not filer. I have my own language!
-
I wonder if they are a bit scared of me. After all, I get Turner into so much trouble. They sure didn't want to admit they had done any work when I called them on Friday. It was only after I read the license number that the gal said, yes, that was us.
-
Oh great, we are under a storm warning. Small hail and gusty winds are possible. That does it. I'm calling into work and let them know I'm not coming in today. I am NOT going to drive in pouring rain if I have anything to say about it.
I wonder if that's why the guy hasn't shown up. I hope this doesn't mean he won't show up!
-
First Stephen Sondheim show was the movie version of GYPSY which I loved.....and has one of my favorite lyrics in SOME PEOPLE:
Some people sit on their butts
Got the dream. Yea, but NOT the guts!
Saw a professional production of WEST SIDE STORY which I enjoyed.
And have worked on many productions of both of those shows + Into the Woods and Forum...... Most excellent shows.
BUT if I had to choose a favorite song....HAD TO.....it might be it would be "Being Alive" from COMPANY - my favorite Sondheim show.
-
TOD:
I first became aware of Stephen Sondheim through an episode of The Carol Burnett Show on which she and the cast did a mini-musical presentation of his songs. Some I was already familiar with: "Comedy Tonight", "Everything's Coming Up Roses", "I Feel Pretty". But there were others that I heard for the first time, such as "Waiting Around For The Girls Upstairs", "Company", and "Send In The Clowns", that set my mind reeling. The very next day I asked my mom to pick up the OCR of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC at Korvettes and I've never been the same ever since.
The first show I saw was the NIGHT MUSIC tour with Jean Simmone and Margeret Hamilton.
The first Broadway show was PACIFIC OVERTURES.
Favorite songs:
Everyday A Little Death
I'm Still Here
Being Alive
Pretty Lady
Johanna
I Never Do Anything Twice
I Remember Sky
Not A Day Goes By
Beautiful
No More
-
Besides the movie of West Side Story, the first Sondheim show I saw was Company. Fell in love right away.
-
Called work to let them know I'm not coming in.
-
Well, well, He's here!
Laters all!
-
Danise, is this the company that installed the heater?
-
And the word of the day is: STERTOROUSLY!
And The Song Of The Day Is: HEAVY BREATHING
-
I am not a fan of some of the new "improvements" in Windows 7.
-
I'm up again. At least I got two more hours of sleep. In a little while I'll start looking at what I wrote yesterday, futz and fix, and then move on to finish the chapter I'm on.
-
Thicker blood vibes (?!) for DRs Ginny and Ben. (That sentiment just sounds odd, but it's meant in a spirit that exceeds its clumsy phrasing.)
Thank you, DR John G!
-
I am just getting used to VISTA.
-
Thanks to DR CILLA LIZ for the fascinating legal information yesterday.
-
My first "awareness" of Sondheim, Stephen Sondheim came in the mid- to late-60s with "A Funny Thing Happened...." the movie musical. I knew his name, but not his music.
I had my first taste of his composing credits with "Follies"...and then immersed myself repeatedly in "A Little Night Music."
-
TOD - My first awareness of a Sondheim lyric was when I was about 10 or 11 and my parents and my older sister went to see GYPSY when it toured Detroit (maybe pre-Broadway?). They all laughed and laughed about "If you wanna bump it, bump it with a trumpet." I didn't see the show myself until the movie, so that's probably my first Sondheim show. He was really getting hot when I was in college and I remember the touring COMPANY that came through Ann Arbor with Tandy Cronyn in the cast. First SS show in NYC was A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC in 1974 when I was there for ALA.
Favorite songs:
Not While I'm Around
Broadway Baby
Move On
Losing My Mind
Everybody Says Don't
There Won't Be Trumpets

I am just getting used to VISTA.
Well, it works in the same way as does American Express and MasterCard.
I understand that....oh, wait....ummm.....never mind.

Ron, if you think AmEx works the same way as MC or Vis(t)a, I have some shopping I'd like you to do for me. :)
-
TOD:
I don't know from Stephen Sondheim except what I have read here on HHW.
If you someday make Chitragupta the TOD, then I will have many answers to it.

Oh...and way to buzz kill a perfectly pleasant bit of fun I was having.
Well, I beg to differ. If you charge 30K on a MC or Vis(t)a, you can make a minimum payment. On AmEx, you're in for the whole megillah.

Listened to GENGHIS KHAN this morning. I really enjoyed it, though I must admit for some reason it made me laugh a time or two.

I have an AmEx card that carries no such requirement. It works just like any other card...in USAGE, which is what I was referring to, and in payments, which is well beyond the intent of my fun.

Yesterday I had lunch with my Indian neighbor, Roshan.
Quite an intersting young man. He works in the IT industry (as do all of the other Indians in my building) and he is quite a fan of Bollywood (including the vintage films), so we had a very nice 2 hour conversation while eating at Star of India.
He is quite philosophical and worked on Wall Street for 1 year, but found it far too vicious. He is more intersted in doing work that will improve society and the lives of others.
In India, while going to college in Calcutta, he worked as a runway model and served as one of the directors of a film awards program, which gave him an opportunity to meet several assorted celebrities and directors.
He is only 28 years old, but man-alive he has done a lot with his life and he has such a wonderful attitude about everything. His parents did a grand job of raising him!

You have one of them newfangled AmEx cards--the "classic" card was alway s differentiated from other CC's in that you were required to pay off the monthly balance every month. And lest it not be understood, I was joking with you in any case.
-
In other news, I highly recommend Kathleen Madigan's new standup special. Some classic bits about SLC and Mormons. Does anyone know if she is an "item" with Lewis Black? I know they work together quite a bit, but from some of her comments on the show, it seems like perhaps they're a couple.
-
From Vixmom:
This evening I finished reading a book that I think might interest Jane and/or Ginny for their book discussion groups: The Ha-Ha
For a long time it has been on my list of books I want to read. I just requested it at the library. I had trouble actually reading a book titled Ha-Ha ;D
-
DR Cilla I am very interesting in your reaction to The Lacuna.
-
Well, after watching the Weather Channel during lunch, Richard and I have agreed that we're glad we don't have plane reservations for our trip south. They said flights will be messed up for the rest of the week. All I have to do is rearrange some hotel reservations if we don't get out of here tomorrow as planned.

Vibes of comfort to DR Sam's mother-in-law & to the neighbor who took the sweet little girl to see Congresswoman Giffords.

The thing is that it is blowing cold air even when you have the heat setting on.
Danise, do you think that there could there be a seperate reset button? I have the in-the-wall Cadet-style heaters and one was also just blowing cold air. I just had to take the grill off the front and there was the reset button. I pushed it and instantly, the heater worked.

I've done six pages and will now go to have lunch with David Wechter - way out in Westlake Village. I'll be back by two, then do some banking, hopefully pick up some packages, and do another two or three pages.

Hi all. Mr. AC/Heating man is gone. His name was Jimmy and it turned out that it was he that installed my AC/Heat.
I never would have made it to work by 1:00 because it took him about 45 minutes to find/fix the problem and then we spent at least a half hour talking about Turner.
I found out that one of Turners Ex employees opened his own company (from the description it sounded like one of the guys Turner had working on my home) and he spotted Turner out and about working on someone elses house. He turned him into the county. Jimmy thought I had Turners license taken away last summer.
Not so. I had his permitting ability taken away from him last summer and that was only in this county. He could have worked anyplace else in the state and been legal. Working in this county was really stupid on his part.
Of course the point is now moot since as of 17th of this month Turner WILL lose his license because he didn't pay his $25,000 fine and the money he was ordered refund me from the Florida Dept of Business and Professional Regulation.
I found out I have a five year warranty on the unit but (of course) the part that went wrong today wasn't covered. It was the Fuse Link. I know not fuse links from linked sausage but the entire price came to $110.00. $75 to show up at the door and $35 for the part.
Anyway the dogs and I have HEAT! Hoo and Ray!!!!
-
Hoo and ray, indeed!!!

Auto. Isn't that best?
I remember when I first got an Am EX card that I could buy a house if I wanted to. But when the bill came in I would have pay it in full!
-
Don't you just love warranties? I knew before he told me that whatever the part was that had to be replaced wouldn't be covered. Just like a car. You can have a full warranty but that one little part that goes out won't be the one on the list.

There's a sidebar in this morning's paper about the girl star of the new TRUE GRIT dissolving into tears on the Paramount lot when GLEE's Lea Michele refused to sign an autograph for her.
Well, that was pretty rude of Lea Michele.
Michele was en route to somewhere on the lot. The unknown actress was in audition clothes and approached her. Michele passed her by, and a guy behind Michele said to the teen, "Now's not a good time."
I imagine Michele might have been stressing or hurrying or steaming over something...and the guy was there to smooth things out.
Rude? She didn't flip the girl off or curse her. Understandable? Yep. Just because an actor isn't on a sound stage doesn't mean it's cool to approach him or her on a lot. Something Michele might wish hadn't happened? Sure.
-
Congrats to DR Danise on having heat once more!
(I had to think a bit on stating that politely.)

My first Sondheim experience was the movie version of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. My sister and I would watch it on TV when we were kids and we loved it. We had no idea who Stephen Sondheim was. When I was in high school and finally did discover who he was, it wasn't until I started researching what shows he had written that I realized that he had written that movie that my sister and I used to love to watch.
-
My absolute favorite Sondheim song is "Someone In a Tree." I can still get goose bumps when I hear it. Next most absolute favorite is probably "You're Gonna Love Tomorrow/Love Will See Us Through."
-
My most favorite Sondheim scores are probably Sunday in the Park with George and Follies.
-
I can't remember which was the first Sondheim stage show that I actually saw, but the only Sondheim show that I've been in (so far) is ...Forum.
-
Back from a wonderful lunch at the Westlake Village Brent's Deli. THAT'S a deli - great pastrami sandwich. Good meeting with Wechter, did my banking and picked up one package and no mail. I suppose I'll try to write another three or four pages now - this evening the helper's best friend is coming over after she gets off work to pack up some orders and get them shipped.

Really starting to get a lot of group emails from Jewish groups about Giffords now. I wouldn't be surprised to see a civil action against some of the rabble rousers who consider themselves above the fray.

TOD:
I like Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, Follies, and Sunday in the Park with George
The first theatrical one I saw was Follies
My favorite Sondheim song when I was younger was "Send in the Clowns" from A Little Night Music

I also like the music from West Side Story

They actually had a glut of veggie stuff. Lots of quinoa dishes, including an incredible lemon quinoa thing I loved, plus a spinach frittata and Betsy brought her patented tabouli.

Wow I didn't expect a veggie feast with the chili-lol. I'm not sure if I like quinoa. It is possible I haven't had any that was good yet, not that I've had much of it.

I went to take a shower & wash my hair and it was too cold in there. I've turned the heat up, which I should have thought to do sooner.
-
The thing is that it is blowing cold air even when you have the heat setting on.
Do you have the fan set to "on" or "auto"
Auto. Isn't that best?
I remember when I first got an Am EX card that I could buy a house if I wanted to. But when the bill came in I would have pay it in full!
Yes. I asked because I can set mine to "On" and the fan will run even if the heat element isn't heated so cold air sometimes comes out when I do that

Sure.
Well now that you put it in context it's a lot different.

The card from Am Ex is Optima, I think.
-
I've written nine pages - may do another couple later before bed. We shall see.
-
Welcome seven GUESTS.
-
I went to see if All That Chat was back up and running and it was - an hour ago. There was a post there from FJL admitting he'd made something like ninety-seven posts in the last week. Certainly has not made ninety-seven posts here in the last three months, I'd guess, maybe more. I'm thinking of a word that starts with P and ends with S. No, not that word - Priorities.
-
In any case, there was no post there, not one, even mentioning the fact that the board had been down for heaven knows how many hours. I should think the owners would want people to have some information. The board is now down again.

I just learned an interesting bit of trivial, Gretchen Corbett made her acting debut playing "Desdemona" in "Othello" at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland.
-
Wasn't that interesting.
-
I always liked her. Haven't seen her in ages, though.
-
I did to.
-
She is working..http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1544577/

I sure hope that the next expected snow storm blows out to sea...
-
Vibes to all who need them. We have over 15 inches of snow now....the wind is supposed to pick up tonight. That's the part I don't like. I am very happy that I made it to the office. I didn't do what I had planned but did meet with 3 clients who braved the weather to meet with me and made it to a hearing. It's nice to not have to reschedule it all
-
Did you drive or take the bus?
-
Kitty threw up her dinner, UNDER the bed with the extra thick mattress. Craig reached as much as he could then took the mattress off the bed & held the box spring up while I finished cleaning the area. It looks good but now his room smells like enzyme cleaner & there isn't much air circulating under the bed.
-
I was able to help him get the top mattress back on. I lifted, with the help of my knee & pushed while he lifted & pulled.

The GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY was filmed in the charming little town of Jacksonville which is 45 minutes from us & where I often hike. The robbery took place not far above where we live.

TOD
I cannot remember a time when I did not know the score to West Side Story, my dad used to play it constantly . I probably saw the movie when I was bout 10 or so when it showed on TV.
I cannot remember when first saw Forum but I was quite familiar with that from young age as well.
In college I saw college productions of Company (which I immediately fell in love with) and Merrily We Roll Along (which failed to entrance me - but perhaps that was just the production)
The first and in fact only live Broadway production of Sondheim's I ever saw was Into The Woods - (December 87 or 88?) We have the DVD and family tradition is to watch it while trimming the Christmas tree.
Members of this family will, whenever someone is whining too much, burst into "AAAAAGOOOOONEEE much more painful than YOOOOOURS!!!!"
I have alas, only seen filmed versions of Sunday in the Park, and Sweeney Todd, and a local community theatre production of A Little Night Music
Favorite song... oh where to start...
One Hand One Heart was sung at my wedding and the Vixter sang it at my brothers' wedding last year so that certainly holds a dear spot in my heart - but I love so many of his songs it is impossible to choose

I am glad that Danise got her heat back!

Where in tarnation IS everyone? Well, FJL is probably trying to log onto All That Chat every three minutes - more fun over here, baby. As Jose would say - just sayin'. :)
-
We've finished prepping the packages and they'll go to the post office in the morning.
-
I'm now watching a motion picture on Blu and Ray. Since it's almost four hours long I'll only watch the first half or so this evening.
-
Did you drive or take the bus?
I drive. There are many times I need to drive to jails etc and need a car during the day
-
Just found out I'm getting a box of Jeepers Creepers: Great Songs from Classic Horror Films - as soon as they're here, we'll put them up for sale at Kritzerland - it's been almost impossible to find since Richard Valley passed away - and I've had tons of requests for it, so there will only be thirty - if you missed it and want it, you might want to drop me an e-mail to hold one for you.
-
Fox news is interviewing a guy with flourescent pink hair and a purple feather who is saying that the shooter is just a little off.

Don't you mean PETER Yates?
::)
-
I just watched an excellent film from Australia: ANIMAL KINGDOM.
My only complaint: I wish they spoke English.
-
BK, would you please hold a Jeepers Creepers for me? That's one of the ones that disappeared from our house.
-
Sorry to hear about Yates. "Breaking Away" was one of my favorite films when I was a teenager.
-
travel vibes for Ginny & Richard
Thank you, DR Vixmom - looks like we'll drive out of here just ahead of the heaviest snow tomorrow. Hope Rob's prepared to shovel the driveway when he gets home from school 8)
-
BK - I would also like a copy of JEEPERS CREEPERS.
-
;D
-
I would eat elk chili. 8)
-
that's all, folks. Night, everyone. I need some sleep. Got a preliminary phone interview in the morning. It's only part-time, but it's at USAA, a company I would really like to work for.
-
I have Jeepers Creepers. :)
-
I just submitted an email to the address they broadcast on the local news for people who are interested in being extras in the movie that George Clooney will be filming in Cincinnati in February and March - IDES OF MARCH.
-

I would, too, if I had a bowl in front of me.

Sounds like fun. As I was reminded last week, take plenty of reading material and maybe a deck of cards. (And pray it's not outdoors.)
-
Good night John G. ;)
-
fell asleep guess its time to call it a night
-
My friend will be on the set of the new George Clooney movie.
-
Night all. ;D
Vibes to everyone who needs them. :)
Happiness for Tuesday. ;)

Gretchen Corbett is from Portland, Jane. I see her around town and at parties now and then. She and her daughter did a play here a few years ago.

Sam, that is very cool about your friend

I watched the first fifty minutes of Once Upon A Time In America. Will have much to say about the idiots who have reviewed this Blu and Ray - in fact, I got so annoyed that I wrote two of these "reviewers."
-
I'm sort of hungry, but I've already put the motor car away so I'll try not to go anywhere. I don't really have any food here except pasta and I'm certainly not going to make that.

Oooh, goodie--I get my review copy tomorrow so I'll be getting some email from BK. :)
-
I am curious how the other sites got reviews up pre-street, as A) Warner does not send out screeners for catalog product and B) they request embargoes until street anyway. Hmmmm. . .
-
BK - Just left you a long message. I'm going to sleep now. If you want to talk, let's talk tomorrow.
-
Well, I have pretty much completed the meat of the brief. I have a little more to do, but it will just be polishing, organizing and then putting the packet together with the exhibits. SO, if I can get there tomorrow, I think I'll be able to get it all in on time. Whew!
-
I'm going to call it a night. I can get this all done tomorrow.
-
I love Jeepers Creepers
-
The Meat Of The Brief - that's the title of my next novel.
-
I'm starving, actually, so I'm whipping up about four ounces of spaghetti noodles - I'll put a little butter and cheese on 'em and that will take care of my hunger pangs.
-
I've written eleven pages today. Hard to believe but tomorrow I pass page 100 and am over a third of the way through the book. Whew!
-
I've been watching Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin's New Year's Eve show...finally. They're very funny together!
