DR George, I do not remember the warm up number in the Playbill.com video. I wonder if it's a substitution?
Thanks for posting it.
DR TCB - we open on September 13. And now they are talking about not having a stage manager.....
And the word of the day is: RAMOSE!
This was big news many years ago. I don't remember it, but my sister was in Miss Sherri's Romper Room class.Very sad story.

Good morning all! First Post!
Sorry I haven't been posting. Just not much going on right now.
I did notice that they put the 50 best moments of the AC show up (on Facebook --sorry BK) as he is counting down to the new season. I was not one of them but they did show the guy with the car. I guess they know that nothing is being done in my case and don't want to point at it.
it's been a month since the last time I heard from anyone. So much for the guy who was going to draw my kitchen and send it to me. When I went over to Lowes (back when I thought I was going to get my money from Turner or the state), I had them draw 2 versions of the kitchen. It took all of an hour so I know that even if he set aside 30 minutes, he could have had the drawing done a long, long time ago.
I hate to say it but it's been six months now and I am very disappointed.
Vibes to all who need them.
Have a wonder filled day all!
I'll second that.Good morning all! First Post!

One Made-For-TV movie (even though it's based on a short story by Kurt Vonnegut) that I've always thought could be a very good stage musical is "Who Am I This Time? (http://www.amazon.com/Who-Am-I-This-Time/dp/B000F9RLG2/ref=sr_1_2?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1346869835&sr=1-2&keywords=who+am+i+this+time)" with Susan Sarandon and Christopher Walken.

DR elmore and DR George - They switch up the pre-show set regularly. This allows for some variety, as well as to allow some flexibility for the cast members should someone need to "sit out" the pre-show or if an understudy is on. And, apparently, they also learn new tunes from time to time to keep things fresh. -And there are some impromptu and not-so-impromptu jams post-show jam sessions at the local Irish pubs around Times Square.
As for the video that was posted on Playbill.com - I love me some Anne Nathan. :)
I am getting ready to go to rehearsal for Act Two.

Wow, that would be awesome! Like swimming with the dolphins, but in the air...and with hawks.

I believe I would still rather swim with the dolphins.

There is a lot of food stuck in my keyboard. That is all.
What is this page three malarky? This has been happening all week and it's making me want to vomit on the ground.

;D
I'm trying very hard not to eat over my new keyboard.

I read that as trying not to overheat your keyboard. I wasn't sure for a minute what was going on at your house!

Skip and I last saw Albie and Mimi in mid-June on a lovely evening at their home, also with Bruce Pomahac (elmore's friend), Anita Gillette and Nancy Ford.

Back from getting coifed by Teddy, a sandwich and onion rings, and picking up a package. At Jerry's Deli, I picked up my Diet Coke to have a sip and the glass literally broke apart in my hand, drenching me in Diet Coke. Miraculously, I wasn't cut, which is amazing given the way it shattered. If I managed the restaurant I certainly would have comped the meal, but that didn't happen.

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure you will cherish your last visit with him in June.
I'm listening to the new "Evita" and am seriously underwhelmed. I think Ricky Martin would be more suited to play Mabel in "Pirates of Penzance," than Che. There is next to no emotion whatsoever in his performance. The only color is a Spanish pronunciation to a few words here and there.
And Jose, you mentioned the accordion in "The Gershwins' P&B," but it's more irritating, even if appropriate here. Maybe it's because I like real Argentine accordion, as opposed to faux Argentine jazz hands orchestrations.

I only wish.

Ah, yes... The accordion... Which should be more of a bandoneon... It actually better and more authentic in the theatre.
As for Mr. Martin... If you ever get to see the show - or watch clips of it - be sure to see how much "acting" Mr. Martin does with his left hand... While his right hand stays by his side, usually in his pants pocket. Apparently, anytime he used his right hand in rehearsal, it would automatically assume the "microphone position". ::)

John Molloy, a great bass and a truly demented mind, as General William Howe!

You should be.

She was fired for being unsuitable for working with children. I read that her fetus had no legs and one arm.
I remember thinking what a dear man at his age for him and Mimi to make that effort to come all the way downtown - in that horrible weather - to see Skip's show, and not full of himself at all with all the success he'd had, of course because we were Mimi's friends, but still.... i didn't realize he was 86..

I wonder how surprised she was to be fired since she went public with the story. At least she was able to get a legal abortion.
Jane, I know you and Keith have done some genealogy research before...
I am wondering if you have ever heard of an occupation called "Morocco Worker"
I have several ideas but I am not sure that any of them are correct. This is listed in a death record.

Keith asked: What country & what is the surname?
A few definitions came up when I googled it.
DR Dakota, Keith looked and he does see it as a "census" occupation.

That's funny. Kevin and Kyra live about two blocks from me.
Well, I must be leaving. I'm auditioning for an festival of one-acts. Hopefully, I'll get to be in something.
Be back later!
I'll try to take a picture of my orange balls tomorrow.
