Travel vibes for DR JOSE.Double dose.
Travel vibes for DR JOSE.
And I have, but have never read, the later book that I think was a sequel.
I am rereading Jack Finney's TIME AND AGAIN, which I last read in 1979. I really loved the book, but I have forgotten nearly everything about it except for the Statue of Liberty. Was the score for the musical ever recorded?
One post an hour....must be a slow news day.

ATTENTION PLEASE! BREAKING NEWS IN THE GARDEN TODAY!!!
1. I saw my first monarch of the 2012 Fall Migration.
2. My saguaro cactus in the front yard has the beginnings of its first arm. (This happens at about age 75. I have been watching for almost 32 years since we moved into this house.)
Ah DR DOUG R sometimes they make simple things SO complicated!!
Thank you, FJL. I will try to listen to them tonight. I remember thoroughly enjoying the books and had wanted to see the musical, but I'm not in New York anywhere near as much as I'd like to be.
Good news from DR LAURA!!
I shall now get ready for the final non-audience run thru of SEE HOW THEY RUN.
DR Matthew - As for those reviews you posted: What's the correct spelling of the director's last name? ::)
I lost a friend on Facebook today as a result of my stupidity yesterday.

Did THE NEW NORMAL broadcast last night? Did anyone watch it?
Alas, my brother was not able to pick me up from Dulles...
He's currently at the hospital with my niece, Alexandra. She apparently had an adverse reaction to one of her treatments, medications. Apparently, it's a "normal" reaction, but they've had to admit her for at least 48 hours so that she can be monitored. My brother will be home in about an hour. I'll go see her in the morning.

John, I'd put four of the songs that were written by Skip for the musical of TIME AND AGAIN up on YouTube
(These are sort of teaser versions, not the way they'd be heard if things ever get worked out and - hope, hope - the stars evr align so taht the proper recording Skip and BK have talked about can get done.)
Link to "Fairy Tale Life" demo sung by Rebecca Luker & "1880's New Yorkers" - I think this is among Bk's favorites of Skip's songs!

Link to "Time and Time Again" - demo as sung by David Carroll & Janie Smulyan

Link to "Who Would Have Thought It?" sung by Donna Murphy at In Celebration of Life concert, this is the "concept video" we did*

Link to "Welcome To Our World" - demo sung by Maggi-Meg Reed and Maureen Silliman & Janie Smulyan

And today, I had a brainstorm for the tenor role in the Appalachian Christmas piece, but he's busy.
DR ChasSmith, if you'd like to come in for the reading on the 24th, please let me know.
Hope you enjoy The Book of Mormon, DR elmore! Maybe I'll win the lottery one of these years. Or maybe I should just plan on seeing it at the Kennedy Center when it comes to DC.
bk - So... Are you going to send out replacement inlay cards to those who received the Second/First Edition?
bk - Did you get my email with Kurt's address?
Vibes to DR Jose's niece Alexandra.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Mega vibes as well!!!

Re: The New Normal, I don't have much interest in watching it. It looks like Glee with adults. I'm not a Ryan Murphy fan.
That being said, I saw this line quoted on the Internet and thought it very funny, especially in relation to a certain husband I know.
Best Exchange of the Episode:
David: “We’re getting older.”
Bryan: "You are, and I’ve agreed to be your youthful companion until you whither and die.”

I am not a GLEE fan, but I had intended to catch THE NEW NORMAL last night. I do miss MattH and his daily tv rundown. I don't believe I saw a single new tv program last season.
Hasanyne heardthe new cast recording of GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES besides me? DR Noel's nemesis Sevie Newport has had the only negative comments I've seen so far. Not enough character, he feels. I feel he's a moron.

I don't see how it's GLEE for adults...at all. There's nothing similar about the two shows, as far as I can tell.
I have to put some Neosporin on my finger. I ijured it at Toyland yesterday while I was moving furniture. I believe it's infected.

I am surprised you haven't seen it on one of your frequent trips to Manhattan!
