It was a fantastic show last night, as always. The "What If" was hilarious, and Jason was hilarious as well. Bruce's voice sounded particularly beautiful on "Truly Married". I don't think there were any lyric fermers at all. About midway through the show, Bruce said something like, "here's a song you will have never heard before..." (referring to "Opportunity") and I thought, "I've never heard ANY of these songs before!" But that's typical of a Kritzerland show and something I've come to really appreciate over the years...so many wonderful songs I would have never ever gotten to hear if it wasn't for these shows.

After breakfast, Randy and I ran errands for Jo: a 5-gallon bottle of water from Kroger's and seven 40-lb bags of black mulch from Lowe's.  The two of them are outside planting grass seed and reformatting their garden.  They are so cute together.

Decided to watch something a little longer today, so I picked One-Eyed Jacks. I knew the lush and wonderful Friedhoff score from the Kritzerland CD, but this is one strange western.

We are sitting in the park looking at the beautiful orange sun.  Keith is trying to find out where the ash floating around us is coming from ::(

I saw it, too.  I was thinking that I wish I had my eclipse glasses with me just to see it directly.  They're at work.

That would have been interesting.

DR JEANNE last time, the nurse offered me a little basket that included some breath mints....not sure what she was trying to tell me....maybe I will ask for a sucker.....

I once saw a bumper sticker:  "NEVER refuse a breath mint."

And I never have...even when I don't think I need it.

;)

Topic of the day (in no particular order):  hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts (especially in chocolate chip cookies ;D ), pecans, peanuts, sunflower seeds, but mostly cashews!

Oh, and coconut!

Back from the film music thing - too long a day and night, but it went very well and he had quite a crowd there.  Commentary got lots o' laughs, my song went well, and all the performers did great.  As I knew it was and tried to tell the guy who does this, it was two numbers too long - cut two ballads and it would have been perfect and ten minutes shorter.  But I know the crowd enjoyed it and many of them came up to me after.  In fact, one nice Asian gal had Xeroxed posters from Nudie and Spaceship that she had me sign, and some guy had a DVD cover of Spaceship for me to sign, and I signed several people's programs.

I slept through the time I usually take my first pain medicine, so I am going to be a dose short tonight.  I can feel it already.
