Well, you've read the notes, the notes were CALM and COLLECTED and perhaps even EXOTIC, and now it is time for you to post until the CALM and COLLECTED cows come home.

Wonderful, DR Elmore.  My hat is off to all the real creators among us.  I couldn't put two notes together.  And the orchestra and conducting sound excellent.  (I just listened on the iPad's speakers.  Will listen more seriously later with headphones, or maybe on the Big Speakers.)  I hope they enjoyed playing it.  Congratulations!

Nothing at present, too busy with the show and other things.  Tomorrow (Sat.) is a day off, my last one of those before tech week, and I'll try to enjoy a movie or something then, but no guarantees.

Thank you, DR ChasSmith.  It's a little ragged, but we had only one rehearsal for a run-through followed by running through of a couple of sections before the performance.  I'm happy that it went so well, and that I wasn't embarrassed by it.  It's fine for opening the comedy but a tad too short for a concert piece.  I think I know how to fix it.

Friday morning greetings!  The remnants of Hurricane Irma have finally left SW Ohio and it's so nice to see sunshine and blue sky.  I know, compared to what other parts of the country are enduring, I have absolutely no right to complain, but there it is.

It was such a thrill to be sitting next to DR Elmore, both for the rehearsal and performance.  The musicians said it was fun to play and the conductor wished there were a full production of Twelfth Night coming up so they could play the entire score.

I check these two several times a day.  I check out all the cats that are brought in and the other pages on the Death Row cats.  On the adoption search, I check for cats under a year old and also for a year old and older on the Manhattan site,  Brooklyn and Staten Island are too far away to travel.  I'd prefer a cat between three months and two years.
MACC could use you as a foster parent, DR Laura!

Well, for a first attempt they were pretty good. I tried some different things with the pastry. Some I liked; some I didn't. So I know what to try for next time. Although, I really have no reason to ever make eclairs. A friend showed me how to make the pastry, although that batch didn't turn out at all. I wanted to learn how to do it.

Well, I'm not a dog person, but that's the joke.  It sounds like "Barkly," but it's spelled "Berkeley" from the song.  Which also makes it a tribute to my absolute favorite musical group, The Manhattan Transfer, who recorded a very beautiful version of the song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ofg8vUDGWQI). ;D
