I've spent the past 20 minutes downloading the Labor Day concert with my piece. If anyone's interested, here's my overture:

Wonderful, DR Elmore. My hat is off to all the real creators among us. I couldn't put two notes together. And the orchestra and conducting sound excellent. (I just listened on the iPad's speakers. Will listen more seriously later with headphones, or maybe on the Big Speakers.) I hope they enjoyed playing it. Congratulations!

Thank you, DR ChasSmith. It's a little ragged, but we had only one rehearsal for a run-through followed by running through of a couple of sections before the performance. I'm happy that it went so well, and that I wasn't embarrassed by it. It's fine for opening the comedy but a tad too short for a concert piece. I think I know how to fix it.

It was such a thrill to be sitting next to DR Elmore, both for the rehearsal and performance. The musicians said it was fun to play and the conductor wished there were a full production of Twelfth Night coming up so they could play the entire score.

I am loving all these kitties! Can't wait to see which one you choose DR Elmore!
Is there a website you are using to see the kittens, Elmore?
I am very excited that someone is getting a new cat, since it can't be me.
My husband told me the eclairs were "very good."
I don't think he has ever said that about anything I have cooked.

Finding the RIGHT Kitty vibes for DR ELMORE.

Then they must have been fantastic.
George, last night you said you've always wanted to name a cat Berkeley/Barkly. I always thought that was a dog's name. ;)
Elmore, look at this one.

I have no news. Sometimes a bit of boredom does you good.
Back from the workshop, the non-opening night, and meeting some friends at the Coral - must write some notes right about now.

I suspect you fell asleep.
