I'm back from seeing "Thor: Ragnarok" in IMAX 3D! It was pretty good! There was a lot of action and it was quite humorous.
I had planned to go to the MACC today and look at cats, but I think I will wait for the outcome on Thatch.
Last night on their website they posted a new arrival, 10-month old Toby, whose owner just dumped him at the Brooklyn shelter. If he were in Manhattan, I'd go over today and adopt him, but it's too far out for me to go wandering on a cane and bad leg.
DR FJL, 65 years is really wonderful!
The hardest thing about the end of Daylight Saving Time is explaining to your dog that it's too early to get up.

Yes, Liam looked very concerned that breakfast was late!

Break a leg to BK and company for today's show.
And here are the Multicolored Kittens. Charles and George are orange, Jane is the cute little black kitten, and Stephen is the Siamese mix. It's almost an HHW clan.

We didn't get any snow last night.

Love all the kitty pics, Larry! Good luck in finding the right companion for Annabelle!

Well, I think I may be getting Thatch. Carol, the lady in charge, has called me and we had a long talk. she also talked to Joshie, so I now she's checking my references now. Our very kind DR ChasSmith has told me, in case of my death, that he would adopt Annabelle and Thatch or possibly another. I am very grateful for that since I know they would be treated very well.
I think you should be the HOST of Name That Tune!

I'm showered, dressed and waiting for the family. I took this picture of my very own piano. :D

Why, it’s almost like gaining ... a goddaughter! :)
No hesitation at all in promising that she/they would have a good home.
(This, of course, does NOT mean that DR Elmore should do anything to hasten his tragic departure from this vale of tears...)
I think you should be the HOST of Name That Tune!
John G I trust you did not worship with the Baptists today.... Tragic news from Texas
Dinner was really nice. There was a great corn casserole/souffle as well as the usual Thanksgiving foods. Loved the cranberry sauce that Jay made.
Nice photo DR GEORGE.

Now THAT idea I like

Nice, and how did you post it? I thought we don't have photobucket anymore.
We did have a little snow today, but it didn't stick.
How was your family dinner?
Did you cook dinner?
You microwaved the hamburgers? Really?
You microwaved the hamburgers? Really?
Yes. But it wasn't raw hamburger. They were fully cooked, frozen angus hamburgers that you just heat and eat. They're quite good! You can (usually) get them at Costco.
Tonight I literally have cold feet. Brrrrr.

We don't...for the most part. It still works for posting for some people. I don't know why. But anyone can still use it to just store pictures online. Anyway, I posted my picture in HHW's "Attachments and other options" link in the "Reply" (not "Quick Reply") box.
27 degrees overnight in Tumwater.

Too cold.

I microwaved the hamburgers and made the coffee in my new coffee press that I only got because my parents drink coffee and I don't, and if they're going to be coming over on a regular basis, they'll want coffee on a regular basis.

When I try to post a photo using the attachment option it says my photo is too large.

Now that your place is cleaned and organized you will be hosting your family more often?

Yes. My mom wants to make sure that I keep my place relatively cleaned, so she said that we WILL have our weekly family dinner here once a month.
DR George, your niece had shrimp?
I recently got an app for my phone that can resize pictures to a small enough size (in kilobytes, not dimensions), so that I can post them here.
Back from a really great show - more in the notes.
