Well, you've read the notes, the notes made up for lost time and lost time made up for the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the made up and lost cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PROPITIATE!
-
Good day to all
-
Up early to take the dog out. I'm looking forward as she gets older and can wait to a more reasonable hour to go out.
-
Went to bed healthy, woke up sneezing, with a very sore throat, and an ear ache
-
Good morning, all.
-
Feel better vibes for Vixmom.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Cold be gone fast vibes to vixmom! Health vibes to all!
-
Amazing news about those DGG (I’m old school) quad recordings. Oh my.
The quad fad back in the day was not unlike the never ending format wars of today. In other words, a mess. But I greatly look forward to hearing a couple of these, especially on Blu-ray Audio, of which I have exactly: none.
-
And yes, some Mahler, please. I’ve wanted to hear some of the Jochum and Kubelik ones.
-
Vixmom, Kristi (a Wells Fargo employee) just told me that she, too, had had several contacts with Jennifer Riordan in the course of performing occasional volunteer work.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I got up at 7:00, fed the babies, and went back to bed.
-
I'm very sleepy this morning.
-
I have nothing much to report - or declare - at the moment.
-
Cole Porter and Pieces of Eight arrived in my mailbox yesterday.
-
DR DRUXY is writing a play with THREE characters? It must be an epic.
-
Dental vibes for DR JEANNE.
-
Last night we had FOUR unexcused absences....no calls no messages, just NO SHOW....
All of them ensemble members who are lucky they are even in the show! They were all gone on Monday, too. So, they have missed ALL of the dance rehearsals for "I'm Gonna Like It Here", which means we'll have to spend EXTRA time bringing them up to speed when we do the number next....
-
We watched Spielberg's THE POST last night.
Well acted, but it's no ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN.
Dull and disappointing.

That's scary DR CHAS SMITH.
I was told YEARS ago - always keep your seat belt on when you're flying.....
-
I kept hearing someone tap on my window and making other assorted noises the last couple of nights. Investigation revealed nothing.
I finally realized it was my surround sound during the hockey games I was watching.....lots of stick tapping and other noises....

Oy!
We're flying Southwest in June.

I will avoid the window seat.
-
Good morning
-
Last night, I got kicked out of WIFI while I was posting here.
-
Then I fell asleep waiting for it to come back up.

When I finally woke up, I quickly got ready for bed, climbed under the covers, and then was wide awake.
-
Today, I am waiting for the third and final attempt to deliver Nicky's meds.
-
They have already tried twice, and I have missed both opportunities.
-
Dental vibes to Jeanne.
-
vixmom, I'm so sorry that tragedy hit so close to your life. Condolences to all the victim's co-workers and friends and family.

Health vibes for DR RonP's mother!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Same from here.

DR DRUXY is writing a play with THREE characters? It must be an epic.
Great line for MASH on TV: "featuring a Cast of Several."
I loved the trick used by smallish-cast plays like EQUUS (in the 1970s) and HEISENBERG, and the George C. Scott INHERIT THE WIND had "jurors" - to sell seats on stage, make them a conceptual part of the work.
The stage never looks under-populated. There have been alternate sales approaches: EQUUS back then made it students only lower price and the actors (including Richard Burton for his run) sat around and among the usually-young-leaning witnesses to the proceedings; or they might actually be top-price seats, because they indeed are exciting locations.

I am not sure I could manage puppy hours again ;)

That's scary DR CHAS SMITH.
I was told YEARS ago - always keep your seat belt on when you're flying.....
Did you read she wasn't wearing her seat belt? It seems odd it wasn't on only 20 minutes into the flight, unless she was getting up for some reason. It is very sad. Until today I did not realize the woman who died was the same one who had gone through the window. I had thought the window woman was ok. :(
-
Today, I am waiting for the third and final attempt to deliver Nicky's meds.
Good luck.
-
Long day. Too many meetings and I have to fast before the CT scan. So, of course, there’s food all over the office as Fiesta takes hold.
-
DR JANE it was mentioned on FaceBook that she was not, but that might NOT be the case.
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven and a half hours of sleep - I got up ninety minutes ago but was just too tired to stay up.
-
DR JANE it was mentioned on FaceBook that she was not, but that might NOT be the case.
In one respect I hope she wasn't because I would like to think they work. On the other hand, well on both hands it is very sad.
-
DR JANE so true.

Things are hopping at the old alma mater. Jenna Fischer was speaking there yesterday and she was interrupted by the student activists....but there is genuine concern because there have been SEVERAL racist posts found written a different places in town and on campus....some students are feeling very unsafe.
The school is located in the same town as my theatre, so it's a bit tense around town....
-
I’m waiting for the CT scan and get a call from the doctor’s office saying the insurance company hasn’t approved it yet. Oy.
-
I’m having it done anyway.
-
That was quick
-
I was saying that exact thing this time last year DR JOHN G!
-
And now I must be off.
Back after we fight with the actors who think they know how to stage musical number.....but they don't.....
-
I have literally just spent four hours writing liner notes, blurbs, etc - have not moved my eyes from the computer screen in all that time. I need a food break now.
-
Page2?
-
I finished "The Company Way" Reprise, and I'm taking the evening off. Thatch, Annabelle, and I have been playing with DR vixmom's laser Christmas gift, which they love, and the remote control mouse, which terrifies Thatch.
-
I'm up, I'm up - oh, wait. Had a lovely e-mail from friend Marshall Harvey who gave me his lovely assessment of GEE, which he really enjoyed - he called the last two pages "brilliant." Considering how long it took me to get those pages right, I'll take it. He tried to leave an Amazon review, but you have to have purchased fifty bucks in the preceding twelve months and that he hasn't done.

While looking up Jenny Fischer to see who she is, I found this http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv/jenna-fischer-donates-students-interrupted-q-article-1.3941624
That was very nice of her. I hope you are safe and things settle down.
-
I’m having it done anyway.
What if they don't approve it? Do you know how much it costs? There might be someplace far less expensive if you are paying for it yourself.
-
I guess I was too late. VIBES your insurance company approves it.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Mega health vibes for Vixmom.
-
Continued vibes for DR Ron's mom.
-
Continued vibes for TCB.
-
Thank you all for the dental vibes. I think it's over for now.
-
The Southwest Airlines story is incredible. I imagine there'll be a movie of it. Kudos to the pilots. I was impressed that Captain Shults greeted all the passengers once they landed. I'm sure they were very pleased to meet her and thank her personally.

Really? I've never had trouble leaving a review, but I make a lot of Amazon purchases. I had no idea this was a requirement. Does anyone know if this is new?

Vibes to all.
TTFN.
-
I was just notified that a very dear friend died last month.
-
I am afraid I need a little time by myself.
-
I'll be back here in a couple of days.
-
I'm sorry about your friend, TCB.
-
GEE whiz, I finished a book today. I loved it!
-
Feel better vibes for DR vixmom!
-
KevinH - write an Amazon review!
-
And glad to hear you loved it.
-
I had my food break, which was pasta with butter and cheese, about six ounces. And then ever since then I've been prepping the releases. I decided to switch the soundtrack release because I think it will sell better, and the other one will come in our next batch.
-

That was thoughtful of her and the passengers did seem to appreciate it.

I thought that you just had to have made $50 worth of purchases ever. But I just looked it up and it does say that you have to have made $50 in the 12 previous months. That seems crazy.
-
I am afraid I need a little time by myself.
Understandable. Sending vibes of comfort for everything you are dealing with.

I was saying that exact thing this time last year DR JOHN G!
Yes, how long ago does that feel, JRand? And how peaceful are you saying it now?
-
I guess I was too late. VIBES your insurance company approves it.
Thank you. You know I'm made of money, especially eight days before vacation.
Insert screaming face here.
-
But enough of that.
-
Page four!
-
And here's a little page four malarkey!
-
A glass of rose'. Nice way to end the day.
-
The lightning bugs -- fireflies, if you will -- are out tonight. One even landed on a finger, but he flew off quickly when he realized I was not mating material.
-
Starting to watch A Place to Call Home, season five. I hope I don't get addicted too quickly. I won't get to bed on time tonight.

If you get hit with an outrageous bill, compare prices and dispute it.

Sorry to hear the news DR TCB.
-
DR JOHN G - it seems like a lifetime ago....the doctor's appointment that started it all will be a year ago next week.... But most of all I am grateful that things worked out the way they did, and that I was matched with some very skilled, compassionate, and caring doctors....
And I worked very hard at getting well - which was a struggle at times.
-
Vixmom, Kristi (a Wells Fargo employee) just told me that she, too, had had several contacts with Jennifer Riordan in the course of performing occasional volunteer work.
Some how the tragedy is more real when it's someone you've had contact with , even so peripherally
-
So sorry to hear about your friend, DR TCB.
-
Fiesta starts tomorrow. I have just put together my vest of this year's Fiesta medals. Even though I'll be out of town for most of it, I've got 16 of them.
-
The first episode of A Place to Call Home started with bagpipe music, something I don't really enjoy. I was scared that J.B. might decide he'd want to learn bagpipes in the same way he took to the accordion. But that was not to be. He was glad when it was over, too.

John G were you able to call your insurance and ask to have it expedited ?

Send vibes of love and comfort to TCB

Thank you all for your vibes...it must have been some allergy , no sneezing and my ear stopped hurting, although my throat is still sore

The older I get the more I fear not having the strength to get well the next time I am knocked down. You should be proud of you got through the struggle.

Today was a day. I came into work early and was in another meeting as soon as I got there, and it lasted two and a half hours...shorter than Monday's, so that's good. Then I went to lunch at Meconi's Subs (http://www.meconissubs.com/) and saw my friend Russ there. We chatted a bit, so that was fun. When I got back to work, I found out that I didn't have any more meetings that afternoon, so that was really good!
-
I'm not sure if I'll be part of any meetings tomorrow, but I'll make sure I come in early enough, just in case. The guy who's here (and the reason for all the meetings) is leaving after tomorrow, so Friday should be a completely normal day! Whew!!
-
After work, I went to rehearsal and I got put into the big act one finale number, since I missed rehearsal on Monday because of my condo's HOA annual meeting. It wasn't too difficult...I just need to remember it all. Then we ran "The Bus Waltz" with the bus props (I know it'll get easier! :-\ ), and then we ran all of act one!
-
I'm not off book yet, but I don't have a lot of lines in act one, so it won't take me too long to memorize the lines. I'll need to work a little more on the songs. I have a few solo lines, but not many. And the chorus work that I do is not difficult. I just haven't really had a lot of time to work on memorizing during these last couple of weeks. But I KNOW I'll get there.
-
We have rehearsal tomorrow night, then not again until Monday! Hoo and Ray! Three, count 'em, THREE days off! :D
-
Vixmom, Kristi (a Wells Fargo employee) just told me that she, too, had had several contacts with Jennifer Riordan in the course of performing occasional volunteer work.

I was just notified that a very dear friend died last month.
Tom, I'm so sorry. :(

Cole Porter and Pieces of Eight arrived in my mailbox yesterday.
Mine hasn't arrived, yet. Hopefully, soon.
-
But what did arrive (in my mailbox when I got home from rehearsal) were two recordings from Jay Records: The York Theatre Company's new recording of the revised version of The Rothschilds called Rothschild & Sons (http://www.jayrecords.com/recording/rothschild--sons/index.php), and the recently remixed/remastered re-release of the English National Opera's complete cast recording of Pacific Overtures (http://www.jayrecords.com/recording/pacific-overtures-(complete-recording)/).
-
I'll bring them to work and add them to my pile of "CDs to be listened to."
-
Last night we had FOUR unexcused absences....no calls no messages, just NO SHOW....
All of them ensemble members who are lucky they are even in the show! They were all gone on Monday, too. So, they have missed ALL of the dance rehearsals for "I'm Gonna Like It Here", which means we'll have to spend EXTRA time bringing them up to speed when we do the number next....
Really? :o Why keep them on?? Two missed rehearsals with NO advance notice or good enough excuses should get them fired from the show (even if they're not being paid).
-
Just my 2¢.

Last night, I got kicked out of WIFI while I was posting here.
That happens to me once in a great while. It usually comes back on fairly shortly, but if not, that means I have to "power cycle" my modem...essentially, unplug the power, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it back on and wait until it's up again, usually not more than another 30 seconds.
-
When I finally woke up, I quickly got ready for bed, climbed under the covers, and then was wide awake.
I hate it when that happens. :P
