Well, you've read the notes, the notes scribbled with Scriabin, and now it is time for you to post until the scribbling cows come home.

T.O.D.

These days, just a simple salad for me (lettuce. tomato, Italian dressing), but back in the day, I loved the Cobb Salad they served at the Brown Derby.

Others have tried to copy it, but nobody ever has.

Goodbye, May!

Another run through of the entire mishagoss tonight....I wore the requested black pants and was told that my jacket reads Navy Blue under the last....can I wear navy blue pants....  Yes, the ones that are still hanging in the dressing room....

One person was missing....and since it was the one person that another person DEPENDS upon to get the props and listen for cues and do the dances.....another person was completely lost, missed entrances, and didn't have any prop he needed.  Another person spends most of his time backstage talking and talking and TALKING to humans of the female sex....

Thursday afternoon greetings!  After breakfast we went for a walk along the riverfront to see the Ohio/Tennessee confluence, then for a visit to the National Quilt Museum.  Lunch at Kirchhoff’s Deli and we brought home enough to have for dinner later.  Back in our room, escaping the humidity and watching a storm roll in over the river.

That's mostly the same here, except that I've never seen chicken fingers.  The hamburger is new, and will probably only be available for a short time.  They used to have chili, but I was told that it's gone for the summer but they'll bring it back in the fall.

I had a house made veggie burger and a cup of clam chowder.  While the chowder was good I was too full to eat much of it.  The quinoa burger with avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, and caramelized onions I swapped out for mozzarella cheese was great.  I also saved chipolte sauce to spread on the burger and was glad I did.

When we were there I purchased a large jar Island Princess Mel Mac's which are the best chocolate covered macadamia nuts.

Many of the shops, at the time, sold smaller sizes of their products.

Watching Reefer Madness the Musical. I'm halfway through and not liking it. But there is some decent dancing. Neve Campbell does a fine tango. And, well, that's about it. The big number with Jesus dancing down from the cross didn't cut it.

Watching Reefer Madness the Musical. I'm halfway through and not liking it. But there is some decent dancing. Neve Campbell does a fine tango. And, well, that's about it. The big number with Jesus dancing down from the cross didn't cut it.

I was in a local production and it was a lot of fun...at times a little too much fun, but sometimes you just gotta go with the flow.

;)

There's an Annie joke at the end from FDR.

I will be taking my Costco card to Maui with me. Great stuff there, from just fished seafood (they tell you the hour it was drawn from the ocean) to some mainland treats at mainland prices.

When we were there I purchased a large jar Island Princess Mel Mac's which are the best chocolate covered macadamia nuts.

Many of the shops, at the time, sold smaller sizes of their products.

I can remember those.

I have also ordered them from their website.  I stopped though because I can't stop eating them.   You are now warned ;)

Tomorrow is Freedom Day.

Is she recovering at the expected speed?

We had the Brussels sprouts with some sautéed chicken breast and the  parsnips and mushrooms for dinner on Tuesday.

There were some Brussels sprouts left over and I just found them and ate a couple cold, they were even better that way

Vixdad hates eggplant , I put it in two little pyrex dishes and added  a little jarred sauce..(prego makes a really nice one with big chunks of tomato, pepper and onion) and that was my lunch at work the past 2 days
