Well, you've read the notes, the notes were interesting, and now it is time for you to post until the interesting cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: IMPERTURBABLE!
-
First post after BK.
-
I can say that yesterday wasn’t an interesting day.
-
There. I have said it and I’m glad.
-
Does George have permission to be out after curfew?
-
I know that I didn’t give him permission.
-
And now, it is past my bedtime.
-
So, now I will say that it is time to say good night.
-
Good night.
-
Graruitous post #10!
;)
-
Does George have permission to be out after curfew?
Who's gonna stop me from staying out late??
-
Well, last night's performance went really well. We've been averaging just under 300 people per performance. That's consistent...not as much as Kyle the managing director had hoped for, but more than nothing. People have been leaving the theater having really enjoyed the show!
-
Tom, I saw and got to chat with Sharry and Micheal for a little, so that was good! Micheal took a picture of Sharry and me, but I don't know if she'll post it on FB.
-
After the show, Kyle, Margo, Karen (another volunteer I've known for many years, but haven't seen in several years) went to a local bar to chat and we definitely chatted. We got there at 11 pm or so and left at 2 am! I drove Margo home, then I went to the local Haggan's for a little shopping. I came home, fed my cat, fed myself and now NEED to go to bed! We've got another two-show day today!
-
But I need to ketchup on yesterday's posts. Hopefully, that won't take too long. I won't have any time today at all ketchup because I need to leave the first show right after it starts to go to my parent's house to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday (although, his actual birthday is Monday)! I don't really need to be at the theater during the show, so I won't go back until my call time for the second show, which is also the final show of the run! I'm sure it'll be a blast!
-
From yesterday:
Thanks, Jrand, for the vibes!

BK, good luck with the potential new fruitful relationship!
-
Well, I've caught up with all of yesterday's posts, so now to bed! I won't be back until tomorrow, so have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
Sunday morning greetings! We had a nice dinner in Frankenmuth yesterday with my sister, her husband, and their son. Today my sister and brother-in-law are coming here and we’ll all go to the 50s/60s picnic, representing the classes of 1956, 1959, and 1968.
-
I must tidy up this place as soon as it's late enough to not disturb the neighbors above or below me with the vacuum. As soon as I have all of the outstanding bills paid off and Thatch's echocardiogram done, I'm buy a new vacuum.
-
Here’s a photo from Friday evening. Chris and I were good friends from 9th grade on and marched into commencement together at The University of Michigan. We attended each other’s weddings, but lost touch around 1992. She’s the one who contacted me just a few days before the reunion.
-
I'll be E&T late this morning until Monday afternoon (unless I find a computer that it feels safe to sign in to post at my hotel).
-
Good morning, all.
-
Great photo, DR Ginny.
-
Love the photo DR GINNY.
Congrats to MR BK on the new contract!
-
Read thru was fun....but I'm not sure how this will go....the leads seem to be okay....but not sure about everyone....
My part is SMALL, I shall have lots of time to sit around....
-
Red Skelton bad joke:
David Rose sat on a tack.
David rose.
-
Thanks, DRs John G and JRand!
-
Annabelle and I stepped out. We saw my wonderful neighbor Roberts, who just got back from Iceland. What is it with Iceland, I ask.
-
Great photo, Ginny!
-
Good morning!
-
Nice photo, DR Ginny!
-
A really nice photo, Ginny.
-
Today is going to be a very laid-back day.
-
I haven't decided on whether I will have a second cup of coffee, or whether I will take a nap.
-
Sitting on my scooter for a very long three hour production really tired me out.
-
I need to buy myself a cushion for the scooter.
-
Or start attending shorter musicals!
-
In spite of my negative comments last evening, both Tracy and I really enjoyed the show.
-
Vibes to Bruce for a fruitful relationship!
-
I can't remember what I was posting before losing the internet. I am back on and catching up after an amazing hike and walk around the town of Sismiut, Greenland.
-

I am supposed to avoid downloading while on this cruise.

Aw, charming Frankenmuth.

It is nice to see you catching up with your friend Ginny.

Annabelle and I stepped out. We saw my wonderful neighbor Roberts, who just got back from Iceland. What is it with Iceland, I ask.
It is extremely popular these days. An increase in tourism began after the 2012 eruption of the volcano known as E-15 since only the locals can pronounce the name.
Iceland Air also offers a free layover.
-
DR Jeanne good luck with your apartment issues.
-
DR Vixmom, sending vibes of comfort to you and the family.
-
More employment vibes for DR elmore.

Icelandair also offers some of the best fares to (parts of) Europe.

Jane, what is the weather like in Greenland?
-
It was low 40's when we hiked this morning. Go to my fb page to see the photos.
-
There is one photo of the town Keith took during the hike that shows the beauty of the town.
-
There are sled dogs in the town. We were warned not to pet the adults but the pups are very sweet and friendly. One little pup did most of our hike with us. I was hiking along when he shoved through the back of my legs and ran out in front of me 🤣 The woman behind me started laughing. It took me a second longer to realize what had happened and then I too had a good laugh.

We watched two movies yesterday that we hadn't seen in years:
1. TWILIGHT w/Paul Newman, Susan Sarandon, Gene Hackman, James Garner and many other well-known folk. It's a terrific film noir. Holds up very well.
2. SUNSET w/ Bruce Willis and James Garner. Willis is Tom Mix and Garner is Wyatt Earp. This one has some moments. Garner is wonderful, but it is not one of director Blake Edward's best. I'm still not sure I can explain the plot to you.
-
Good morning WOOPS! afternoon, y’all.
-
Had to head out first thing this morning to observe a church service I’ll be substituting in next Sunday.
-
Boy, could I use a short nap.
I need to feed a couple of animals first, then maybe that nap can happen.
-
Annabelle and I stepped out. We saw my wonderful neighbor Roberts, who just got back from Iceland. What is it with Iceland, I ask.
What is it? Everybody I know or meet these days is going to Iceland.
-
Three!
-
Twilight sounds great, DR Druxy. I'm not sure I've seen it.
-
I'm watching something called The Bank Shot. Directed by Gower Champion with George C. Scott and a surprisingly irritating Bibi Osterwald. Kritzerland released the soundtrack, which I enjoyed. The movie not so much.
-
It's on a disk with The Hospital, which is much better and which I will watch sometime later this week.
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep. Must get to bed before four from now on.
-
I had a dream - Brent Barrett asked me to come hear a track he'd recorded, a duet with Lotte Lenya - she was there and we had a nice chat.

Amazing how that works in dreams.

Thank you, DRs FJL, KevinH, and TCB for the nice comments about my photo.
It is nice to see you catching up with your friend Ginny.
Thanks, DR Jane. We had even more time today at the picnic and it was easier to hear each other.
-
Richard and I are recharging in our room before going to dinner in Northville with a friend from college.
-
Watching A Lady Takes a Chance with Jean Arthur and John Wayne. It's not a lost classic. But Jean Arthur is always enjoyable.
-
...and we’re in for the night, after a nice dinner visit with Anne. We head home tomorrow with a stop in Lima for Fr. Richard to do a communion service for his former parishioners.
-

Thanks, DR Jane. We had even more time today at the picnic and it was easier to hear each other.
Our last two reunions were during the day keeping it more casual and easier to visit. It also keeps the cost down for those that can't afford a fancy event.

There is one photo of the town Keith took during the hike that shows the beauty of the town.
This post needed a few corrections. I was very tired and blurry eyed.
-
We have no idea why we received an invite to eat with the captain but we did. Even more surprising is that we accepted. It was a very enjoyable and interesting evening.
-
Everyone should be as passionate about their jobs as the captain is. Three months working, then 3 months home with his children. Home is a large sail boat.
-
He told me about the time he swam with whales :o
-
Due to strange loud noises in our room that kept Keith awake last night we switched rooms. So far it has been quiet.
-
It is 12:00am here.
'night.
-
Good evening, all.
-
Went out with friends to celebrate their 55th anniversary. We went to an Italian restaurant.
-
The food was excellent. My blood sugar will be high.
-
I had grilled chicken over pasta in a creamy chipotle sauce.
-
We shared some raspberry creme brulee for dessert.
-
I'm now watching another movie I hadn't seen that Kritzerland released the soundtrack of.
-
Two for the Seesaw with a nice Andre Previn score and interesting chemistry between Robert Mitchum and Shirley MacLaine.
-
Gratuitous Post No. 86.
-
It gets us closer to page four.
-
So does this one.
-
Let's move on ...
-
Four!
-
Hello, 0 guests!
-
What's your favorite movie that Kritzerland has released the soundtrack to?
-
Good evening.
-
I went into the office "for a coup,e of hours" to try and catch up
-
I got there at 4
-
Vixdad called me at 10:45 to see if I was ok
-
So now I am home
-
And I am still not caught up
-
It doesn't help that y new assistant was out Friday and will be out tomorrow as well
-
She had a planned vacation before she was hired and she was hired with the understanding that she be off these days
-
Anyone want to guinea pig the Indiegogo?
-
We launch in the morning, so now would be a good time.
-
Page four? Really?
-
No posts in an hour? Really?
-
This will NOT do.
-
Good evening.
-
No posts in two hours. O-kay.
-
The smoke has returned to Western Washington.
-
It is not terrible in Tacoma (yet), but Seattle looks like LA in the Seventies.
-
It is expected to continue to get worse.
-
At least, through Wednesday.
-
Currently, the smoke is only dangerous to people with breathing problems.
-
Also, currently bad for the elderly (DON’T GO THERE!).
-
By Wednesday they expect it will be bad for everyone.
-
I hope it doesn’t come to that.
-
Western Washington is surrounded by fires.
-
I started to say forest fires, but it isn’t just forests.
-
There are brush fires, as well.
-
One more post.
-
Page 5
-
There are a number of fires in British Columbia.
-
Most of our smoke is coming from there.
-
But, also, from Oregon and Norther California.
-
Not to mention from Eastern Washington.
-
Tomorrow I am having lunch, again, with my friends from Nevada.
-
They are stopping by Tacoma on their way to the airport.
-
We are dining at Joeseppi’s. It is just a few miles from my place.
-
It has always been their favorite Tacoma restaurant.
-
I enjoy it, as well; but I am getting a little tired of the place
-
Hopefully, I have no plans for Tuesday, because I have plans the rest of the week.
-
I wonder how George’s final performances went today?
-
All that work, and expense, for one weekend.
-
The rental costs fr the librettos and the scores, alone, is very pricey.
-
George said they were averaging about 300 people per performance.
-
I wonder how many seats they have in that theater?
-
Good night.
-
So darling George just doesn't come here at night anymore, right? Because Legally Blonde has a late performance on a Sunday night? Jeez.
