The cats and I watch an episode a night, except for Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, so we've been watching it for over a month now. The DVD set warns you at the beginning of each of the nine DVDs that there are signs of wear. Visually, it's very good, but the sound quality is dreadful and when the volume goes low, tnere's no adjusting to make it audible.

They clean for our upstairs neighbor and squeezed us in. They had to postpone us from yesterday which worked out perfectly. Yesterday our place was still a total mess. It is nice to have most of that mess back organized and back where it belongs.

I'm quite groggy and foggy and froggy but hopefully a few nights of sleep like that will be the ticket. Hard to tell if I'm feeling better yet.

What I take depends on my symptoms. I usually start with Sambucol, because it covers a wide range. I've had good results with Gaia Echinacea capsules. (They have a Echinacea-Goldenseal product, too, but it can dry me out too much.) Gaia also makes an Echinacea-Goldensea-Propolis throat spray, which is good. (It doesn't dry me out because I never need to use much.)

Great series and casting. Doesn't give me a single urge to read the novels but I'd certainly watch it all again.

The mini-series is both true to the novels and yet very different. Glencora is much more developed in the TV version than she is in the books, yet both are remarkable portrayals of a moneyed woman in 19th century England who does her duty by marrying for money and later finds something that could be love.

The ChocZero chocolate bars that DR George has mentioned arrived today and I gave one a try. This was the milk chocolate with hazelnuts. We know that Jane wouldn't like it, but I found it very good indeed. You really wouldn't know that there's no sugar in it. It's nicely sweet, not overdone, but not a fake sweet. Just plain good. I recommend them. Unfortunately, the company doesn't offer a sampler. Available on Amazon or directly from choczero.com.

Interesting they're auditioning now for a show in March.

Quality actors are hard to find, especially male actors. So, when you are doing a male-heavy show like La Mancha, the earlier you lock up your actors, the better it is for your show.

When I first discovered them, they were available in 10-packs with smaller individually wrapped pieces in either milk or dark chocolate, and both without any kinds of nuts.
