My boss started acting normal again yesterday

I thought this year would end up on a positive note with all the writing projects coming my way, but hospital stays have put a damper on them. :=(
This afternoon I have an appointment with Dr. Meier, our wonderful eye doctor, because my right eyelid is swollen, sore, and itchy. Rob thinks it's a stye and will require antibiotic drops. From there we're going to do some shopping, meet Mary Linda and Rebecca for dinner at Panera, and then go to a Messiah Sing-Along at a big church. The presenting organization is the Butler Philharmonic, the orchestra that premiered DR Elmore's Twelfth Night overture last year.

Thatch and I are home. His claws are clipped, he's been vaccinated and thoroughly examined. He weighs nine pounds, and after his echocardiogram, when I can afford it, he needs a dental cleaning. Dr. Romero said his heart sounds good, and she believes the atenelol is working well. He was very well behaved, but he may have been terrified by the adorable beagle pup, the bulldog, the three lab/terrier/pit bull mixes romping about the lobby. He was the only cat.
Birdy Barnum is now enjoying some tunes by the Everly Brothers and singing along quite nicely.

This evening I watched my DVR’ed Harold Prince (“The Director’s Life”) and much enjoyed it.
I also resolved to get out the device I bought last year, install the software, and once and for all learn how to transfer these things first to a hard drive, and then to a DVD that’s playable in full HD and multichannel sound. The couple of things a friend has transferred for me look and sound great. I have everything needed, I’ve just put off making the effort.
....But they were a great audience - laughing, cheering, and even a few people stood at the end.

Back from a terrific show. We put in a new speech tonight and I must say it worked very well and solved a huge problem. Not sure it's absolutely perfect yet, but the reaction to it certainly told us it's close.
Eating half a box of See's candy our friends gave me for my birthday didn't help ;D
I won't be able to stay for long, however, because I'll need to leave in time to get up to Lakewood to see our very own TCB in Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus. :D
