I left the insufferable year-end team builder after 90 minutes of so (lousy food, overly loud video and arcade games). I went home and slept two hours in the afternoon. Finished packing. Had a good Tex-Mex dinner of grilled chicken and fideo. It was joyous.

There are several I’ve never played that I need to bust my arse learning today and tomorrow, because our one rehearsal is first thing Friday morning.

Six years ago, when I was healthy and working steadily, it was a season I looked forward to immensely. This year all I do is hold the cats, pray they incur no more vet bills, and weep.

All I want for Christmas is steady work and income.

Now we don't do any of that except buy something for our sons whom we haven't spent Christmas with in years. It has certainly taken much of the fun out of the holiday for me.

I do it once a year, I think it fulfills some of my brothers volunteer time. It's fun and this year, the kids attention span was longer. It was a lot of fun

Neither. Just a beautiful dancing tabby, although he has some of Thatch's markings and ginger and white coat. Thatch does his ninja poses on his back legs, although he's not doing it as much as he matures; he's about 16 months old now. Annabelle leaps and climbs but she hardly ever stands on her back legs. Of course, whatever they do when I'm not around they keep secret from me.
