Well, you've read the notes, the notes had madness, and now it is time for you to post until the mad cows come home.

Good night, Tom and jan.

Have a good day, all!

Good morning, all!

Thatch and Stella both started carrying on about breakfast around 6:00. By 6:15 I was out of bed.
-
DR Matthew, yes. I now have a 3-month-old kitten named Stella, who is a frightening bundle of energy. She doesn't walk, she bounces; she fears nothing, and she weighs about 3.5 lbs. Annabelle is making attempts to analyze her but scaredy-cat Thatch is terrified of her and her bouncy energy. When I first saw her in the adoption cage, she reminded me of Annabelle when I first saw her at that Sept. 2017 adoption event: friendly, chatty, playful. Physically, she is about the size of Thatch when he came here in November 2017. She and Thatch also have little high-pitched voices, since he was neutered at 3 months.
-
Rob never did call me back last night, but he emailed me the band information and the tentative song listing. I'm certain I'll hear fro him today. Until then, I'll work on the Moross and How To Succeed . . .
-
DR TCB, I hope you are feeling better today.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Guess what day it is.
-
I've cleaned the litter, both the one in the bathroom and the one in Stella's cage, vacuumed Stella's cage, and made a patrol with Annabelle. I'm ready for a nap, but I need some breakfast and my meds first.
-
Good morning all

When a cast album is produced does the recording company bear all the expense and keep all the profits or do the play producers bear all the expense and get a cut of the profits to defray expense (I assume here that the recording company controls the profit share but what do I know?)

Good morning!

It was good to read continued progress in the healing department from DR Jan.

Ditto!

Annabelle has abandoned her washtub in the bathroom for my bathroom waste basket, now that I've emptied it and replaced the liner bag.

Cute 😊

Vibes for DR TCB.
Continued vibes for DR jan.

I am glad MR BK knows what is what.
I enjoy being the person in a group who knows what is what....unless there is another person who does NOT know what is what....and does not know he does not know....what is what.
-
Good morning, all.

Two!

Birdy Barnum is now very interested in his mirrored abacus. He moves ALL of his beads in both rows to the left.....and then awhile later he moves all of his beads in both rows back to the right.
Page Two Bird Toy Dance. I put BB's horizontally.....and it only cost 92 cents.

That last part is frustrating.

Awww, Birdy Barnum has something fun to do.

Wednesday afternoon greetings! For the first time in what seems like forever, I don't have anyplace to be today. I'm still in my robe and would like to stay this way all day, but will probably shower and dress at some point.

T.O.D.
ASK BK DAY!
Do you have any funny stories or recollections of working with the late Tim Conway?
-
I am back in bed and I took some cold medicine. I'll check back later.

Vibes for TCB!

I just scheduled Thatch's echocardiogram and found I missed my lab work on Monday. I just called my doctor and I can have it done today at 1:10, so I'm heading off to my HMO.

How exciting! Never a dull moment, I'm sure. Congrats!

Good morning!

And it's raining here, and is suppose to rain through the weekend. Kinda done with it already
-
I have nothing to report today. It's Wednesday, so it's technically my "day-off" for the week, but I'll be heading into work to rehearse with the 8th grade musical The Wizard of Oz so I predict the next real day off I'll have will be Memorial Day and after that June 10 when I'll be at Disneyland.

Finding the right person for the job vibes for DR MATTHEW.

Ballet On Broadway has arrived in Indiana.
MR BK - the new helper put the mailing label on the side of the package that has the tear opener on it.....but it could be a one off.
-
The lab work went easily, and I wasn't gone more than an hour. As I walked back to the apartment, I ran into Val, and it was good to see him. I told him about my landlord mess, and we both agreed the management company is a group of shits.

And speaking of cats, this looks pretty cool: Wicked Ball - Your Pet's Joy when Home Alone (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/wicked-ball-your-pet-s-joy-when-home-alone/x/5266254#/)! I just contributed to get one for Neve. :D

I just ordered a new carrier for Thatch. I'll give his old one to Stella.

DR ELMORE have you used the old Ping Pong Ball in the bathtub trick for your kitties?

Stellaaaaa!

No. At the moment, Stella is on the loose and Thatch and Annabelle are watching her aggressive energy as she attacks all their toys and a large plastic bag with enthusiasm.
-
Stellaaaaa!
Thank you, sir!
-
LOL Stella is a cutie.
-
She throws herself at the cat tree and climbs it before jumping down to attack a few toys.
-
LOL Stella is a cutie.
And that's an awful photo I took!

Looks like her head was moving when you snapped it.

In the old days it was always the record company that paid everything, and the producers and grand rights' holders got a percentage of sales AFTER recoupment - and the way standard industry recoupment works they usually never saw a penny of royalties unless the album sold a 500,000 copies or something. That all changed with Amour - and I was part of that change but Kritzerland didn't quite exist yet so it went to another label. Suddenly the producers were paying for the albums and the record companies were acting as distributors, basically, taking a percentage of sales. So the tables turned. In the last year or so, they're turning back because Decca got back into the game and are paying again. Who knows where it will all go - most don't sell very well.
-
I'm up - eight hours of sleep.
-
And then mostly on the phone with Apple Support. We nuked the main AOL mailbox and reloaded it, and then it had to go through downloading all the saved messages from years ago, so that took quite a while and the activity window isn't cleared yet so it's either still doing something or it's frozen, so I can't do anything until two-thirty, at which point the senior tech will call me and if it's still where it's been for the past hour, then we'll go on from there.
-
Well, my landlord has struck. While I was out, between 4:30 and 5:15, a process server taped an eviction notice to my door. Of course itv arrives after all offices are closed for the day, so I do not know where I now stand with the NY Housing Court, and I may have missed my appeal date because the notice claims it was served on May 1, and I only have five days after receipt to appeal.
I'm scared beyond belief, and absolutely furious because I have kept my landlord updated on all the financial crunch issues with the rent since last August, and there have been few responses to my emails, which led me to assume that things were not so serious. What's even more irritating is that as of this moment, my rent payments were up to date and I mailed my June rent payment this morning.
-
MEGA VIBES YOU GET CAN STOP THE EVICTION!
-
Yes, vibes and xylophones that eviction BS goes away PRONTO.
-
Back from the Vitello's meeting and I'm feeling much more comfortable now.
-
Mail thing is still not completing itself - the guy is calling back at four-thirty and we'll go from there, but it's now been three-and-a-half hours.
-
Making Wacky Noodles and will then watch Fosse/Verdon, which only JUST got put up at Amazon. Usually it goes up after midnight.
-
MEGA VIBES YOU GET CAN STOP THE EVICTION!

LOL Yes DR JANE.

UGH. Non Eviction Vibes for DR ELMORE.
-
LOL Yes DR JANE.
;D

I couldn't resist my comment after having visions of cats batting at the ping pong balls in the water.
-
My lovely lesbian neighbors on Five offered to contact a friend who's a real estate lawyer. I sent the attorney for my landlord an email, cc'd to my Property Manager, with the information about the rent checks, their numbers, and the dates they cleared my bank. I'm paid up through June, and I mailed that rent this morning so I will remain a month ahead from now on. We'll see how the attorney responds.

Vibes this is good enough!

Click here if you are curious how well your local hospital rates (https://www.hospitalsafetygrade.org/)
Our hospital received a grade D. I find this scary. The other local hospital received a B. Maybe we should have stayed in the Ashland area as all of the hospitals there received As.
I am pleased the hospital in Chicago that Bryan works at received an A.
-
Thank y'all for the good vibes. Hangin' in, only 1 pain pill so far today.

Great!

The tech guy called back - it was still not moving or anything, so he made the executive decision to quit mail and relaunch, which we did. Then it started the whole downloading process again. It did the first mailbox very quickly while we were on the phone, but now it's doing the 108,000 others that are saved or in other accounts, I guess. That's moving along slowly but surely. He'll call me at eleven-thirty tomorrow and his hope is that this time it will complete and then everything should begin working again in terms of synching.
-
Had my Wacky Noodles - good batch - then watched Fosse/Verdon - this episode is right out of All That Jazz and while it's aping that it's quite dreary and a bore. But a couple of the scenes that were quiet and between two people were okay. But there is no joy in this show at all - I think any hope of that has sailed long ago and it all comes down to the way they're presenting Fosse.
-
I'll see if there's anything on the Flix of Net for later, but for now I think I'll listen to some music.
-
One more post.

I am shocked that anti-abortion bill was signed into law this afternoon. I am not pro-abortion, but as a man, I am pro-choice. I don’t believe I should be able to tell a woman what she can or can’t do with her body.
END OF MY POLITICAL RANT!

I am not pro-abortion but very pro-choice. It is terrible sad to me that this has happened.

Those who enacted this disgusting law aren't really pro-life, they're only pro-birth...and then they won't have anything to do with those who are forced to be born. AND they don't want to allow any methods to prevent the pregnancies that would prevent the abortions from even happening! >:(

Back to A Place Called Home. It's getting better. I think the previous season was like that.
-
Time for me to head home.
Be back later.

Nobody is pro-abortion.
Pro-choice is a different matter
-
Listening to music. A Dutch jazz pianist called Pim Jacobs - with orchestrations by Rogier Van Otterloo. Really tasty stuff.
-
Page four? Really?
-
Mail is moving along towards the 108,000 messages it's downloading. What happens then will tell the tale. I'm ever hopeful. It's up to 90,000 right now.
-
Tried Netflix - not working.
-
And for this we pay more money.
-
I gotta tell you.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
MEGA housing resolution vibes to Elmore!
-
Pain-begone vibes to all who need them.
-
I hope TCB is feeling better today.
-
As for the passage of Alabama's anti-abortion bill, I am not surprised, though I am not pleased.
A while back there was a politician who was strongly opposed to abortion. I forget his name. But when his mistress became pregnant he wanted her to have an abortion. (She was incensed.)
-
I spent the day at the hairdresser's and then running errands. The whole week has been like this. Ugh.
-
Good night.
-
Hello, 0 guests!
-
Made it halfway through A Place to Call Home. I will be sorry to say goodbye to these people. But I also think this is the time to end the show.
-
It's time, thought, to bid these folks good night.
-
Because I need to get ready for bed.
-
I have a day-long meeting tomorrow and I have to be in early.
-
I am not looking forward to it.
-
But that's another matter ...
-
Five!
-
Good night, all.

The idiot who passed the bill into law came right out and said she knows it can't be enforced. She KNOWS that, and she and the other idiots in those sorry states that have passed similar things are hoping when this gets challenged and into the courts (and while it's in the courts, the "law" is meaningless and no one need abide by it), they're hoping that the conservative Supreme Court will overturn Roe vs. Wade. I don't think that's the walk in the park they think it is, frankly.
-
Watched the first forty minutes of Yanks, a movie I'm very fond of. I'll finish it tomorrow night. For now, listening to music. And waiting and hoping the mail thing will complete and then be fine.
-
Mail still downloading. About three thousand more to go. This has been going on since five o'clock. Astonishing, really, but praying this fixes all.
-
Listening to the Composers in Person series on EMI. These are fascinating historical performances by composers either playing or conducting their own music. I had two of these, which I bought when they came out, but I found a box set that has all twenty-two of them that I got REALLY cheap. The sound, of course, is mostly archival, since many of these recordings are from the late 1920s and early 1930s. But fascinating to hear Bartok playing his piano pieces.
-
STILL going on. It's only two hundred from finishing and it's moving like molasses.
-

I think it should have ended a season earlier.

I agree the goal is to challenge Roe vs Wade and overturn it.

Good evening.
-
Greetings, HB!
-
How are you feeling tonight?
-
My stomach is not turning over as uch as it was yesterday.
-
But I slept most of the day.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
My stomach is not turning over as uch as it was yesterday.
Good!
-
I need to drive down to Olympia tomorrow to pick up a cashiers check.

~~~Continued Get Better Vibes for Tom!!~~~
I'm glad you're doing better. Keep improving. My face swelling has gone down but now it's letting my jaw hurt. I've only had 1 pain pill but I'm seriously thinking taking another. The pain goes up into my ear.
-
Hi, George, how's my NW buddy and my fur niece?
-
Tom, how's Nicky tonight?
-
Hi, George, how's my NW buddy and my fur niece?
We're both doing well, thanks. How're you doing jan?
-
Hanging in.
-
Nick is doing okay.
-
He is currently in the living room, sleeping on top of the extension cord.
-
If you are hurting, take a pain pill.
Tomorrow, I'm ushering for a local college production of Fun Home. I know several people in the cast.
-
I realized that I didn't have a clean white shirt to wear, but I also didn't realize this until after it was too late to do laundry, so I just went out and bought a new shirt. ;)
Okay, Dad, I'll take a pill.
Why was it too late to do laundry? Isn’t the washer and dryer in your condo?
Yes, it is, but it's in our CC&Rs that we're not supposed to make loud noises (such as doing laundry) after 9 pm.
Doing laundry is louder than, say a TV?
I am still waiting for copy of the HOA rules for my condo.
