And the word of the day is: CIRCUMSPECT!

Is that how the little boy feels after his briss?
I can’t believe that after getting three checks lost by your friends at the Post Office, you don’t switch to having all your checks direct deposited!
Since I switched to direct deposit, not only have I never had a check lost or late; but some of my checks arrive early.
Sorry, George, I didn’t see you there.
Break A Leg Vibes To BK And Company!
And more ditto vibes.FEEL GOOD VIBES TO BK!
I watched the 2 hour DEADWOOD movie last night.
It was very well done, but the problem was that, since it's been over 10 years since the original series was cancelled, it was hard remembering who was who and who did what.
Anybody else watch it?

Today is the PCPH Open House at 2 p.m. followed by the June meeting.
One person who was NOT at the Program Committee meeting does NOT like our selection for reasons discussed at length at the meeting....and dismissed. This person is NOT delusional but still feels that Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Les Miz. are all better choices than Once Upon A Mattress and Anything Goes....
And You Can't Take It With You is a better choice than The Diviners and/or State of the Union.....
How are you feeling today, jan?

I get my pension, Social Security, and City Center payments - when I do any work for them - in direct deposit, but most of my other payments are from individuals and arrive as checks. I hope the Y check arrives soon.
I just opened the refrigerator and Stella walked out! I could have killed this slippery one.
DR JohnG: Kate thanks you and returns your good wishes !
I remember part of a dream: I was in an institutional building and I must have been performing in something because there was a disagreement over what I was to sing. I went to the men's room and Thatch was drinking out of a toilet, and I ran him. I then wqent back to be sure he wasn't doing it afain and there he was! I ran him out, abnd I realized it wasn't Thatch: the coat was all wrong.
I fought against DD for years.....I loved getting the check and traveling to the bank and watching things happen.
However when I signed up for SS, it was required that I use DD, so I switched my pension as well.....and enjoy watching it come into my account ONLINE on the morning of the day it is due.
I thought it would be a bother to write a check to cash when I wanted cash.....but I just keep a certain amount here....and when I get low....every six or eight weeks....I go to the bank.....

I'm up, I'm up - I did everything I was supposed to except actually sleep. In bed at twelve-fifteen and could not fall asleep and could not fall asleep and could not fall asleep. I would be surprised if I got more than two or three hours of sleep and I have no idea if my voice is going to be here or not by noon. I'm not feeling sick, so that's good. I have a whopping three hours to sound check and then another ninety minutes to show.
Back from an amazing show - everyone enjoyed the brunch aspect and we had a great crowd - just about seventy people. Cast did a great job, my voice, which I was really concerned about right up until my opening patter, was fine - not its strongest on Hushabye Mountain at the start, but I settled into it pretty quickly - I positioned it fifth so I wouldn't have spoken all that much before.
I just spent a gut-punching 46 1/2 minutes on YouTube watching "AIDS Memorial: Famous Gay Victims." It is a visual montage showing most of the famous men who have died from AIDS since the 1980's. This powerful film is broken up by a couple of commercials along the way (that give you a moment to breathe). It is mostly actors, but also composers, dancers, directors, activists, etc. Maybe everyone else has seen this before, but it was new to me. I guarantee you will see, at least, one or two names that you didn't realize had died from AIDS.
Hi, George.
Where was everyone today?
Well, George, what’s new in your life?
The weather here was beautiful.
George, cat got your fingers?
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
George! Did I wake you?
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
I don't know if I have a favorite.
What is GO, DOG, GO about?

Hi, NW, sorry I didn't continue our conversation last night. I fell asleep, woke up 2 hours later and crawled into bed to sleep.

It wouldn't be the first time it happened to someone here.

watcha watchin?
I just want to wake up one week from now.
is that because of the move?
I hope everything goes quickly and easily so you can settle in in comfort and Nicky is happy.
Break out one of your hand fans preferably one with rhinestones and plumes.
Be sure everything is unpacked before you move him. It is impossible to move things with a cat underfoot (or chair). That's how I hurt my back.
Did George loan you his pearls in exchange?
