Well, you've read the notes, the notes were organized, and now it is time for you to post until the organized cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ASSIDUOUS!
-
First post after BK.
-
And I'm home.
-
Hey, Kimmel.....................
BOO about it.
-
Safe and sound, George?
-
Safe and sound, George?
Yup!

Yesterday, after helping my sister with her daughter's chicken coop, I worked concessions for the Masterworks Choral Ensemble's final concert of their season. They're pretty good, but not very many young people in the group.
-
After the concert, Margo and I went to Applebee's. The really cute waiter that I had before was our server tonight! Margo asked him how his weekend was going. He said that it was going well, and that he's going to the beach tomorrow with a girl (he said her name, but I forget what it was ::) ).
-
Darn...he's not a gay older chubby chaser.
;)
-
Ah, when they're young like that, they want you to pay for everything. Wait for someone financially independent so he can pay for you.
-
How's Her Majesty today?
-
How's Her Majesty today?
She doing well. I still have the back door open, so I'm sure that she's out there lounging in the warmth of the evening.
-
BK, that's so cool about all that music that you found...especially the Unsung Kander and Ebb material! Too bad you can't record an actual album of that.
-
Is she doing her impression of the sphinx?
-
Happy Father's day to all you Papas out there. Good night y'all.
-
Is she doing her impression of the sphinx?
No. She doesn't know anything about that, so please don't give her any ideas!
-
A Very Happy Father's Day to All the Fathers and Father-by-Proxy!! :D
-
So this is interesting...if she were still alive, June 12th would've been Anne Frank's 90th birthday. She was born in 1929. I only recently found out that Martin Luther King, Jr. was ALSO born in 1929, on January 15th. They were almost the same age.
-
Today, the family is going to my sister's to celebrate not only Father's Day, but my mom's birthday! We're going to have nachos! Who doesn't love nachos?? ;D
-
Well, I'm off to bed now.
Have a good day, all!
-
BK, I bet you could make it to that incredible milestone today if you wanted.
-
But on the other hand, it might be worth savoring the last few.
-
I just got a "Happy Father's Day" phone call from my son.
He's flying back today from a gig last night in Michigan.
We will have dinner together tomorrow night.
-
Good morning, all!
-
Annabelle definitely needs to see the vet. This morning at 6:15 I washed out her nose, One nostril was closed. At 8:30, both were closed with gunk. I'll call City Vet and see when Dr Mohr is in - I think tomorrow;s one of her days - and make an appointment. There are two vets I like a lot - Dr Mohr and Dr Romero - who see the cats most often. I regard Dr Mohr as Annabelle's doctor and Romero as Thatch's. I'm happy to see any of the others since it's a good clinic, but each time Annabelle sees someone new, her respiratory issues become a reason to suggest treatments and add more costs with prescriptions.
I feel it's much the same with the NYU Dental School; except there, when you're happyt with your dentist, he/she graduates and you're at the mercy of the next one theyu assign you.
-
I need to vacuum and tidy up - the usual daily nonsense - but I really want to tackle the bathroom today. It's long overdue for a full cleaning.
-
Annabelle is booked to see Dr Mohr tomorrow at 4:00.
-
Happy Father's Day!
-
Time to work.
-
Page 2 Dance!
-
Good morning!

Happy Father's Day!

Good Singers vibes for MR BK..... Maybe you'll hear some good songs....or at least different songs.
They are probably all trying to figure out what to wear and being very nervous right now....trying to figure out how to impress....
-
I read somewhere that they had to film several episodes of HIGHWAY PATROL out in the sticks and on back roads because Mr. Crawford did not have a driver's license and couldn't legally drive on the streets.
In most episodes, I remember him having a driver, but I thought that was because of his rank.

If they start singing that they'd rather be in the Radio City Music Hall bathroom, try to be pleasant.

Bk, are you the "bk" on BWW, who noted that March 2019 saw a surprising number of new people joining there, and somehow they all seem to love "Be More Chill" and seem really knowledgable about it.
-
I'm wondering if they didn't realize the date they joined was on every message board post they make. It's unusual to have that info, but it does tell a lot about when people join to hawk a specific show.
-

Good point ;D

Good and vibes to you both and your pocketbook.

I am pleased Nicky is improving.

The bathroom is swept, vacuumed, and mopped. I can actually see the tiles again. The chore was a total bitch because of Stella whose boundless curiosity, energy, and wish to make a game of it. She was into everything, no matter how many times I carried or ran her out. Thatch peeked in once, saw Daddy's mood, and ran for it. Before I began, I took the two litter mats to the basement, cleaned them, and tossed them into the garbage.
The litter box is in the kitchen for now and the bathroom door is closed until the floor dries. I used a lot of Pinesol and I do not want the cats getting it on their paws. In about an hour I'll wash the floor with plain water.
-
I need to drag out the new litter mats and unwrap them.

A wise lawyer recently said, "It's always about money. Even when it's not about money, it's about money." :)
-
I have put the bathroom back together. I have a bit of vacuuming to do and my housework is finished for the day.

A little vinegar in the water makes a nice rinse.

To those of you who are the have a child, fur child, or feather child,

-
I'm up, I'm up - eight and a half hours of sleep. I'll shave in a little while, then shower, then be on my way.

Happy Fathers Day

Back to packing
-
I shall now be on my way to judge a singing contest.
-
And I shall be on my way to watching some more television.
-
And I am going for a walk.
-
Time to think about dinner.
-
Good...um...evening, all?
-
I am back from our matinee, and off from the show until Thursday — which was originally a brush-up but is now a performance due to the run being a sellout.
-
DR Elmore, what kind of litter mats are these?

I got a small and a large before I adopted Annabelle, and they are a big help. They need to be cleaned every so often, and I figured this year that it was time for new ones to be set down when I gave the bathroom a good cleaning.

Took a break from packing and laundry
-
Vixdad drove me up to church where I picked up the Flowers we had dedicated this morning in memories of our dads
-
Then he drove me to the cemetery so we coukd leave the flowers by my dad and grandfather
-
Vixmom is always on the go.
-
As is DR JANE, DR ELMORE, DR CHAS SMITH, and MR BK.
Well.....I guess everyone except me.
-
Then we drove over to Vixdad's favorite crepe place and I bought him dinner
-
Sunday evening greetings! It's been a busy weekend. Richard filled in at a church up by Wright State University (Dayton area) that has services at 5pm on Saturday and 10:30am on Sunday. Yesterday I helped at the garage sale clearance from 10-12, went to a papercrafting meet-up not far from the church, then met Richard there for the 5pm service. We went out for a nice dinner afterwards and I was finally home 10 hours later.
-
Then we went to carvel fro dessert
-
I watched HOUSEBOAT which I had never seen from start to finish. It was most excellent....I used to confuse it with IT STARTED IN NAPLES....
Anywho.....exactly how many times did poor Martha Hyer get left at the altar - cinematically speaking......she had it almost as bad as Ralph Bellamy....
-
Now back to work
-
Today I saw Richard off to church and I whipped up a nice Father's Day celebration for which Rob and Mary Linda joined us. We ate and visited until both Richard and Rob were about to fall asleep. We both took naps after the kids left.
-
Since John G never showed up to pack for me
-
DR Vixmom, when do you drive south? We may cross paths, because we're driving to Washington, DC, Wednesday and Thursday.
-

Well.....I guess everyone except me.
Just walking & doing work today. We did have a nice long chat with Craig. Bryan is working tonight but texted before going to sleep for the day.

G_d I love Carvel's!
-
Where in tarnation IS everyone?
-
You'd think it was Father's Day or something.
-
Back from judging - some fun contestants, but boy was it ill-attended. In the glory days, the Federal (where it used to take place) the jernt was packed to the rafters. When they moved to the NoHo Arts it was packed. When they moved to the Colony it was packed. Last year, when they moved to the big theater at the El Portal, it was not packed but still had over 100 people. Today I'm not sure there were thirty people there. It was supposed to end at three-thirty and ended at four-fifteen.
-
I picked up a package, then got Subway for food. I've eaten, and am about to sit on my couch like so much fish.
-
Less than 75 postings to go to a rather incredible milestone.
-
FJL, yes I go as BK on B'way World. The dreaded and disgusting ryhog from Talkin' Broadway is also over there - I outed him a year ago - he posts there as Hogan's Heroes.
-
Good evening.
-
It is my first Father's Day as a grandma, so I had to make a quick trip to Starbucks to get a gift card for my son.
-
The baby greeted me at church with a big smile, instead of crying when he saw me. Afterwards, we went to the ice cream parlor for lunch and ice cream.
Baby ate food from a tube. Wish that had been invented when I was a young mother.
-
I enjoyed the show yesterday. My favorite character was Veruca Salt.
-
I am always blown away by the talent of the kids in professional shows.

I have to look this one up.
-
I see they come with the food inside all ready, interesting.
-
We had perfect weather for Father's Day.
-
I must say, Highway Patrol puts me right to sleep :)
-
I picked up a package, then got Subway for food.
Is that like having "Tapioca for pudding?"
-
We are going to watch something.
-
Finished with the four Highway Patrols. In the third, I got an address and the name of the side street but could find no such street in the Valley, which is the only place the main address would be - interesting. In the fourth episode, an amazing shot that I knew instantly was Las Palmas in Hollywood - the church at the block south of Hollywood is unmistakable. This shot was looking south from Yucca - the two street signs clearly visible. I'd bet the apartment building is still there.
-
Nope, those apartment buildings seem long gone - there's a playground there for some youth thing.
-
DR Vixmom, when do you drive south? We may cross paths, because we're driving to Washington, DC, Wednesday and Thursday.
Thursday night we're driving to Maryland and spending the night in Greenbelt, just outside DCbt we probably won't get in until 1 am or so
Friday morning we head to SC for the night

Still laundering and packing
-
Well actually stopped so I go to bed

Good question.
-
I'm not sure - it used to be in February, actually, but the last few years they keep moving it later and later.
-
Good.......
-
.....evening.
-
#100?
-
This is not good.
-
Page 4?
-
Really?
-
Hi, George.
-
Annabelle is booked to see Dr Mohr tomorrow at 4:00.
Good and vibes to you both and your pocketbook.
~~~Double Ditto!!~~~
-
Hi, George.
Hi, Tom.
-
I got busy watching a dramamentary about the aftermath of the Titanic sinking.
-
It was about the Mackey-Bennett which sailed out to the site of the sinking to recover bodies.
-
And about the city of Halifax, where many of the recovered bodies are now buried.
-
It was well done, but I always wonder if the reenactments are really needed.
-
I thought the program was only an hour, but I guess I read it wrong.
-
That does sound interesting, but I wonder about the reenactments in documentaries, also. :-\
-
Tomorrow the other section of my sectional is to be delivered.
-
Today, the family went to my sister's house to celebrate Father's Day and my mom's birthday!
-
For my mom, I'm going to go to my parents' house and help my mom with some yard work.
-
We just have to find either a day that I can take off from work, or find a weekend day.
-
For my dad, we got him a handmade Aggravation board (https://www.etsy.com/listing/536306872/aggravation-game-board-aggravation-game) that I found on Etsy.com.
(Link fixed. ::) )
-
It's really nice, and he really liked it.
-
We played a game today (I lost), then we played Phase 10 and I won that! First time I've won a Phase 10 game in quite a while. :D
-
Nice, but I don’t know the game.
-
I had chips and dip this evening, and my stomach is protesting.
-
I don’t eat them often, but once in a while.
-
Well, it kept me from having ice cream.
Nice, but I don’t know the game.
We've been playing it for years. It's pretty simple...just get your (in this case) pegs (originally, they were marbles) from your base to your home. You play with one die (or one per person) and travel around the board until all four of your pegs/marbles are home. Simple, but fun.
-
Although, the night is still young!
-
Kind of like Sorry?
-
Or more like Parcheesi?
-
Chinese Checkers?
-
Let me know when I get close!
-
Kind of like Sorry?
Yes, similar to Sorry, but you don't go backwards, and you can't jump over your own token. When you get to the end and want to get your tokens home, you have to roll the die and get the exact number each time. That is the most frustrating thing about it. ;)
