Okay, I will go to sleep and dream about vegan crumbles!
Good night.
Last night Vixdad took me to a crepe place a few times away for dinner.
Today, I'm taking the day off from work. It's my dad's 81st birthday and we're all going to go to my parents' house to celebrate.

You're into time travel? That is so cool! Can you take me back to 2010 or so, when I actually worked?

2010 was when I got laid off. It was actually a good year for me.

I am pretty sure doing it in the water is easier and less stressful on the body than regular zumba, plus I don't feel that it matters if I am not overly graceful.
I spent the day going for my post-surgery visit with the surgeon. I was glad I could see him and not just the PA, because yesterday I started having some discomfort. But all is normal, he said.
He has the best bedside manner I've encountered in decades. It's such a help!
I had two Mad Hatter rides from Lyft, but arrived in one piece.
My sartorial favorite was the woman wearing what looked like a black slip with nothing under it and hightop white tennis shoes. I think Jrand will appreciate that one.
I'd asked the salad bar I frequent to stock vegan ice cream and gave them my favorite brand. They responded with a different brand, but it's still good. But Reishi Chocolate? Mushroom chocolate? Doesn't sound very appetizing, but I tried it today and it wasn't bad. No taste of mushroom that I could detect.

Yes, water classes are easier on your body because the water supports your weight.
Jeanne, it goes with the new trendy mushroom coffee.

Sometimes Mother does know best , they cooked quickly, stayed juicy, browned nicely, and there was no smoke or mess.
Vibes of all sorts fur Elmore

Hmmph, I'll have you know I received several compliments on that outfit, Missy

I hope it's a great day for your family, DR George!
X-rays accomplished. The entire shebang and bus rides took me about 90 minutes. Tomorrow I may spend the day at City Center with Joshie. I need to call him and confirm.
Good test result vibes!
Happy birthday to George's father!!!
Good news, Ginny.
Happy Birthday to DR George's father.
Last night TCB asked what's in vegan crumble. Crumbled vegans, of course!
And he's a fool too. Devalues a work that people keep asking to do. He gave an interview a few months ago

From that interview:
What would you classify as the biggest mistake you’ve ever made?
Dramaturgically, the biggest mistake I ever made was trying to produce a show with a passive hero. The best example of this was in Time and Again, which is a novel that has many attractive things about it. It’s a wonderful book that is not meant to be a musical for the most basic reason, which is that it has a passive hero. We could never get it off the ground. Of course, there were other design-related issues, but the fundamental problem was that I couldn’t devise a way to get an audience interested in the protagonist. That was the most important dramaturgical mistake that I ever made.
So he was asked about mistakes he had made. And he said the biggest mistake he veer made was trying to write a show about a passive hero. But - What show was he working on - By 15 minutes into the show, the very show the jackass himself wrote, the character becomes (maybe too) active in the new old time. Whether that's a good idea as a take on the material, that being in the past makes him active, can be debated - but did he even sit through his own show?
The show with a passive hero was never the libretto he wrote. Yutz to the nth degree.

Thanks, Larry! My dad was pretty tired from yesterday, but for the most part it was a pretty good day.

:)) I'll have to tell that to my sister and niece!

You know very well how I feel about Mr. Viertel. He's an ASS. Everything wrong with Time and Again was him. Skip could have fixed the opening number (I still have my notes on it and they are exactly right) easily had Mr. Viertel been a writer. He's a no-talent hack who has spent his life when he was a dramaturg telling others how to "fix" their work, and badly so - and then when he writes the book of a musical he won't listen to ANYONE because of his sickening ego. That should could have been a huge hit - but not with him as writer, EVER.
I almost left at intermission.
Last I looked we were up to 176% and only about 1200 bucks from doubling our goal, which is my dream percentage - I'm so excited now about the extra extras and I want as many of 'em on there as I can.

hi, guys, everything okay up there? things are okay here, just dull. my 4 yard cats say hi to Neve and Nicky and send cuddles to them and you.
why serve OLD actors? can't they feed you young and tasty ones?
So, what was on the dinner menu, George?
Poor Nicky seems to be in more pain lately.
Breaded fish filets? Does that mean fish sticks? ;)
