Well, you've read the notes, the notes were free of both pesticide and matzoh, and now it is time for you to post until the pesticide and matzoh-free cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ELYSIAN!
-
First post after BK.
-
My tablet is kind of freaking out when I try to type on it, so I had to pull out my keyboard. Hopefully, the screen will work tomorrow.
-
The keyboard seems to be working, so that's good.
-
And now, I'm off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all.
-
I’m in Athens.
-
So sorry about Rex, Laura.
-
Good morning, all!
-
This is a physical therapy morning, so I'm not going back to bed. I'll begin the kitty clean up very shortly.
-
Another really rotten night. The Advil PM is doing nothing to help me sleep, so I'm quite frustrated.
-
So much has happened in the past 40 minutes: Columbus Circle Imaging has sent the X-ray results to my therapist, my doctor has referred me to an orthopedics surgeon. I am hoping this does not mean hip surgery and that I can be treated with injections, but we'll see.
-
Two years ago, I adopted the love of my life.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I guess I’m down for the count because this really does feel like a cold. Going back to bed for a while.
-
Health vibes for ChasSmith.
-
So sorry to hear about Rex, DR LAURA. I remember when he was down for the count and rebounded....extra time is always good.
-
Less pain vibes for DR ELMORE.......
-
Well this morning my cousin's daughter messaged me and asked me if I wanted two tickets for the touring FIDDLER for tomorrow night.
I said yes.....of course....and it seems she has to go to Indianapolis today, so she is bringing them to my front door.....her husband works for the local paper, so I'm guessing that's where they came from.
When I have them in my hand, I shall post the location.....and now DR ELMORE - who did you say you knew involved with the production?
-
Good morning!
-
Enjoy Athens, DR JohnG! I had a great time there.
-
Vibes for DR elmore!
-
Great photo of Annabelle, DR elmore!

Michael Gildin, the musical director. Tell him hello for me.

I am home from therapy. Gurjeet, my therapist, says the proposed hip replacement is an easy operation for recovery. Replacement?
-
Monday morning greetings! Puttering today and, eventually, we'll have to go out to the grocery. I'd rather skip that until the heat wave breaks, but that's not possible.
-
I am home from therapy. Gurjeet, my therapist, says the proposed hip replacement is an easy operation for recovery. Replacement?
DR Elmore, my mother probably should have had a hip replacement in her 70s and did not. I will always believe that she would have enjoyed living to 98+ more if she'd been able to walk.

My main concern is the cats while I am incapacitated. If I need to be in a recovery space for a week, who will take care of them? I don't think I can be here alone with them for several days after the surgery.
-
I shall attempt to do so DR ELMORE.
-
Henry King has arrived in Indiana.
-
The new musical I want to see!
-
Good morning.
-
Happy Gotcha Day to Elmore and Annabelle!
-
I hope you feel better soon, Chas.
-
Elmore, I think there is kind of a mini-hip replacement -- it is simpler than the old-fashioned kind.

Larry, if it helps, here a list of Celebrities that have had a hip replacement (https://headtothehills.blogspot.com/2015/02/who-else-has-had-hip-replacement.html). :)

I thought maybe you’d come to Ohio and let Jo and Randy look after all of you...

Certainly something to discuss with the surgeon. I have been told there is more than one way to do a hip replacement and one method has a faster recovery than the other.

Our train ride from York to Manchester was overly crowded. Getting on the train and finding seats was difficult & required a couple of seat chanches at different stops due to reserved seating which we didn't have. Then we were delayed when a train ahead of us was stalled. Due to the packed train getting off was even difficult. We were concerned we were going to be trapped on the train ;D
-
I'm up, I'm up - nine and a half hours of needed sleep.
-
Being in Manchester, birth place of my mother, is a very special experience for me.

It is.

Well, it’s a full fledged cold. And I was caught with my pants down on this one, with not one of the HHW-recommended preventatives on hand. But I’m stuffed full of the other things that help once you have the damned cold, so there’s that.
-

Thank you for taking us along on this meaningful journey, DR Jane.

Dramatic soprano Jessye Norman has died at age 74.

Thank you, DR Ginny!

Dramatic soprano Jessye Norman has died at age 74.
Oh, no. :(
-
And Andy Williams has died, too.

Dramatic soprano Jessye Norman has died at age 74.
My friend William Parker toured Europe with Jessye Norman in the 1970s. He loved her sense of humor. He said she was so large that she couldn't board a bus at one point in the tour, so someone said to her, "Try sideways," and Jessye said in her affected British accent, "There is no sideways!"

This has been a weird day and I'm glad it's at an end. First weird was the news that the booklet track listing for The Black Swan was an old version we'd fixed but the wrong file got sent to the printers - it happens, but of course someone could not WAIT to mention it. I posted the titles of the two missing tracks - should be nineteen. But I honestly think these people think we should reprint a twenty-four page booklet, which would be a big no. What I decided to do was have Doug create a booklet-sized PDF of the correct listing for that CD, which people can get via e-mail and put in their booklets as an errata slip, just like many books to when errors are caught after the fact. Of course the CD is perfect and when putting into iTunes all the proper track titles and tracks come right up and the meta data on the CD itself is correct.
-
Then I went to the car and the fob wouldn't open the door - I thought the damn car battery was dead again, but didn't see HOW that was even possible. So, I took the key out of the fob, opened the door and the alarm went off so it wasn't the battery. The fob wouldn't shut off the alarm on the first two tries, then did, and then everything worked fine. I'm gonna take the fob to the local Infinity dealer and get a new battery for the fob, just in case.
-
I had some chicken tenders at Jerry's Deli - cooked properly this time. Then I took the Pesticide Matzoh back and got credited, then came home. Now listening to music.

What? Working for a library, errata slips are not unusual at all. A PDF is certainly a good enough option for me.
-
It'll be good enough for anyone with a thinking brain :) It's so minor - two track titles missing in the booklet only.
-
Maybe you can say that anyone willing to send it back at their own expense can get a refund? :)
-
Page three? Really?
-
Went to Ralph's and got a different brand of egg and onion matzoh and voila - perfect. Also got a few shrimp cocktail shrimp and some fresh crab meat for the evening snack - almost no calories at all.
-
Listening to music.

PAGE FOUR DANCE!!
-
I'm watching episode 19 of Grey's Anatomy from last season.
-
After this, I still have still six more episodes from last season.
-
The episode I'm watching is about a patient who was raped.
-
I'm halfway through and it's very emotional.
-
There are two story lines in this episode (so far).
-
The main story had one of the secondary characters having the focus, but she is being very judgmental about her history.
-
I don't like how they're having her behave in the main story.
-
That same character is part of the secondary story, and she's great in this part...what the writers are having her do, I mean.
-
And now, since we're so close...
-
Gratuitous Post #100!
-
I lived in Brooklyn for a year - I'm not sure I ever had a good time.
-
Tomorrow, I need to get to work an hour and a half earlier than usual.
-
I have a meeting that I shouldn't miss.
-
It was supposed to happen today.
-
But my supervisor pushed it back to today.
-
Good evening.
-
Page 4? Seriously?
-
That is it! Only one dear reader vacation at a time!
-
Unless I want to go someplace.
-
Ha! That is not going to happen.
-
I can’t even afford a free cruise.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
Freezing temperatures tonight in Olympia!!
-
Probably pretty close to freezing here in Puyallup/South Hill/Graham!
-
Freezing temperatures tonight in Olympia!!
I'd heard that! :o
-
And it's going to start raining, so it won't be that cold for too long.
-
Hi, George.
-
Tom, did you see my PM from last Friday?
-
Good morning from Athens, all.
-
I hope I’m over my jetlag. We’ll see.
-
Five!
-
And it's going to start raining, so it won't be that cold for too long.
No, tonight is the last one of freezing for a while.
-
Good morning from Athens, all.
Hello, John!
-
Spent last evening with friends of Carol’s out on a patio overlooking the Mediterranean.
-
Marios is a chef. His wife Fotini was a student of Carol’s. They have two beautiful daughters, Catherine and Danae.
-
Tom, did you see my PM from last Friday?
I have now. 😁
-
We talked into the evening. A nice breeze. Great food. Just relaxing.
-
Tom, did you see my PM from last Friday?

I've re-replied.
-
Hey John, how’s the weather in Athens?
-
Hilary and Chelsea Clinton are the guests on tonight's Stephen Colbert.
-
I wonder if they will mention Trump?
-
I wonder if they will mention Trump?
Trump was mostly what Stephen talked about in his monologue. I'm sure that they'll mention him.
