George, didn’t you go and see ANGELS IN AMERICA? Also, Scott played the husband who died in CALENDAR GIRLS.

I didn't see it. Olympia Little Theatre did a staged reading and I saw that, but not that production. :-\

Congrats to new artistic director (in the new year), Doug Haverty!
So sorry to hear about Rex.Take a few!
We’ve got kitty worries here, as Poe adapts to his thyroid medication. Why can’t these things be easy? We’ll take a few of those vibes if you got ‘em.

Well, I'm sick. It sure sneaked up on me.

Last night was a pretty good night of sleep. I slept until 12:15 or so, then took the second Advil PM and slept until 5:00. By 6:15 I was eager to get up and feed the cats. I did go back to bed until 7:15, but I feel quite rested today. Yesterday, I was completely lethargic after therapy.
It is oddly comforting

Thank you George for posting my picture last night
I've got The Lady In The Van with Maggie Smith sitting in the DVD player. I'm not sure if I will finish watching it. She's good, the cast is good, but I'm not caught up in it.
City Vet posted this photo of Annabelle's vet. Dr Mohr, yesterday. We like her very much.

Speaking of vibes, I need a miracle. I'm not making enough at City Center to cover anything and the bills are piling up/ Color me scared.

Tom thanks for the info on the shooting :(
We got our flu shots a couple weeks ago. We are taking a much-needed vacation next week. Sandra needs it so much.

Oh, no! Diahann Carroll, Oscar-nominated, pioneering actress, dies (https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/diahann-carroll-oscar-nominated-pioneering-actress-dies/ar-AAIiqwR). :(

DR Jane, on the news report we heard they said Vancouver is about an hour north of Portland. It’s not really that far, is it?
I've booked my appointment with an orthopedic surgeon for next Thursday.

Well, if traffic is moving we are 10 minutes over the bridge, 20 into downtown Portland. Downtown Vancouver where the shooting was is about the same distance away that we are.

It weights 15 lbs and I thought all that weight would make it hot but it seems the weight is made by tiny glass balls and they actually have the effect of keeping you a little cooler

I don’t know that I slept any bette4 though, I was still up three times however I did go right back to sleep which often doesn’t happen, so perhaps it did help

Thanks for the geography lesson! They could use you at NBC.
Continued travel vibes for John, Jane and Keith
Time for me to leave work and head downtown. I'll be concessioning this evening. I will probably go out for dinner afterward.
Be back later.
one conflict we couldn't live with, and the fact that he told us his agent was against him doing it and was going to work extra hard to get him a job, which means if that happened, we'd be looking for a new actor. We simply couldn't take that kind of a chance. Barry Pearl, who's good friends with him, had a talk and I think all is okay now.
Several ancesters are burried in the church she attends so we spent a good amount of time there. Our tour even included going up the bell tower.

Why would someone tell you something like that, and then be surprised that you had to consider what he had told you?
Then I watched the final two episodes of Chernobyl - it was very powerful, occasionally hard to watch, but like most of these things, it seemed too long for its own good, but clearly they wanted to have five hours so there's some unnecessary repetition. The acting was terrific, and the writing mostly terrific with a few clunky passages. The direction was fine and the Blu-ray looks very good. The one big no for me was the score, which is more sound design than music - yes, there's some of the usual choral dirge stuff, maybe five minutes - the rest is just noise, really, and not my cuppa. If you like this sort of drama it comes highly recommended.

It was, though it made us more curioys to see the bell tower at the larger we couldn't go up to.
That's pretty cool, Jane!
