Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a puzzle and in pieces, and now it is time for you to post until the puzzled cows come home.

My goodness, just happened to notice the topic views for the past fifteen days - what was going on here - some days the topic view was over 1,000 views - normally it's in the two hundreds, as it was yesterday, but almost the entirety of November is either over 1000 or in the 400s.  Unusual.

DR TCB, "Man Who Came To Dinner": I have the DVD of the film and a bootleg of the Nathan Lane revival.  I could not find either one!  I remember seeing the 1980 Circle in the Square revival with Ellis Rabb, whom I didn't much care for, but he had a great supportiong cast: Carrie Nye as Lorraine, Roderick Cook as Beverly, Leonard Frey as Banjo, and my beloved, sorely missed, Anita Dangler as Miss Preen.  I didn't think the Nathan Lane revival, outside of Lane and Lewis Stadlenm as Banjo, had as good a cast.

Did anyone here see Orson Welles as The Man Who Came to Dinner on TV in 1972?

Get a load of that cast.
I remember watching and enjoying it, but I couldn’t actually tell you anything about it.

I love BK’s use of “vacuuming”. It’s perfect.

Is it a BK original, or has it been a theater term before?

I have the whole blessed day and evening off.  YAY!!

Much of the day will be spent on finishing up, or almost finishing up, the current round of editing on this score. And I must plan on watching something good this evening.

BK -  Were the views happening on the days themselves, or a few days later?  And is it the Notes or the posts or both?

I sometimes forget that the posts on HHW come up on google just like the Notes do.

are you able to say which specific days?

If your show's cast has followers and fans, your detailed descriptions of preparation / rehearsals would certainly be of interest to them, and maybe the ones who find it pass the link around?

The play "Money Talks" with Helen Gallagher and Delores
Grey had the should-have-been-classic line.  Nature abhors a vacuum.  And so does my cleaning lady.

I never saw this, but looking at the cast, it looks like they cut it down to 90 minutes by removing Richard Stanley, Sandy (June's fiancee), and John, the butler.

I put the laundry into the washers and had some breakfast.  I've been thinking about the TOD.  I'm only watching PBS, a couple of Bravo shows, and the All Arts channel.  I did channel surf and caught a little bit of "Carol's Second Act."  That was more than enough

I heard some clacking and clinking last night when the heat pump came on.....I thought I was having trouble with the fan AGAIN.

This morning I went out to check.....some icicles had formed on the vent and were hanging down just low enough for the fan to hit them.

I chopped them up.....and so now it should be okay.

TOD

I'm with DR Jrand69 on 9-1-1 and THE RESIDENT (and I still miss them being on together). At the moment, we're behind due to activities these past few weeks, so it's time for some ketchup.

And yes, isn't it amazing how absurd some of the situations on 9-1-1 are ... and how quickly the City o' Angels gets through some of these incredible disasters? But it remains eminently watchable, partly because they ARE entertaining situations, and the characters are so great.

No word on Dad so far today.

Not knowing is hard, especially from far away...

I have been there and it is very difficult.
Dad seems to be resting and is in good spirits.

Excellent.  Do you have any answers to your questions and a better understanding of what is wrong?

...and we’re home!

DR Jane will be glad to hear that I was instructed to take it easy for the next 5 days.

I am very glad and I expect you to do exactly this.

I shall now be on my way to pick up a package that arrived after I was at the mail place, and then to the theater.

Dad is going to stay another night. He didn’t keep his lunch down, so they want to observe him some more.

CONTINUED VIBES!

We have been following the news in Santa Clarita all day.  This school really hit home for our good friends.  Fortunately their children are all grown up with their own children :(

I am turning off the computer now and I won't return on my tablet.  I absolutely must stop injuring my shoulder on it.  Hopefully a few days of rest and I will be able to return to evening posts.

I think it's PR BS, as always.  When there's a start date, then I'll believe.

Back from a pretty fun vacuuming of act three.  Added tons of stuff for Barry as Banjo, including one bit that I whispered to him and that he did that must have gotten a three-minute laugh.

I turned off THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL too soon this evening.  After I switched over to YOUNG SHELDON, a major brawl broke out.  The Steelers cutie quarterback, Mason Rudolph, got smacked in the head with his own helmet.
