Very early good morning all.
I updated my profile....My "lechienfou" is a very old email, and I still look better than the dog avatar, although he might sing better than I.
Let me just say that Man/Dinner will be rousing fun. ;)
Sorry skeptics, but sometimes there is nothing more satisfying and tasty as an Egg McMuffin.
Hello, newly rechristened youngreps@sbcglobal.net! And that a very nice avatar! Thanks George!
Why thank you Jane :)Very early good morning all.

Hello DR youngreps. It is very nice to see your smiling face 😊
Submissions to literary agents have begun again. I sent five this morning, and we'll see what happens.
DR Jane-- I also saw "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" and enjoyed it very much.
Was it a fun day, Vixmom?
My Thanksgiving is now up in the air. I was planning on visiting Bonnie in San Angelo, but she called to say her step-father had died. She doesn’t know what’s going to happen, so we’re playing it by ear. I’m okay with that.
It’s on FB if anyone cares to look

Yes we had quite a nice weekend
This was a very small con, they limited it to 500 attendees
At least half of them were people we recognize from cons past

DR John a while back you had begun reading One is Inland by Tea Obreht. Did you like it? I looks interesting, however, I was just ok with The Tiger's Wife and am not sure I want to read another book by her.

I never had time to finish it before it was due back at the library. I may get it again, but right now six of my other reserved books are in. I finished Julie Andrews' autobiography today.

Thanks. I suppose if you really liked what you read you would have checked it out again ;)
I am loving having him for my son
I was able to get Naked Space to start.
Today, my friend Margo and I are going to see Frozen II in IMAX. That'll be fun. :)
Can you tell us what the story is about?
The songs were good, but I don't think that (m)any of them will have a recording life outside the movie.

Who would have thought Let It Go would be so memorable?
Speaking of my financial straits, that damned property is not moving and if we do not sell it in December, then I am stuck in January with a property tax bill I am unable to pay. We need some selling vibes, DRs!
K9 Kastle, the animal rescue group from whom I adopted Annabelle, is having a holiday adoption event. These are the photos with the flyer.

And I finally hit Barnes and Noble during the Criterion sale. Only picked up four, one of which (Thief or Blood Simple) will be a Christmas present. I'm keeping Ozu's Good Morning, a charming comedy I've seen twice before and just love, and Time Bandits.

Sending good vibes!
I tried to post a photo from today’s con but I’m being told that is too large to post

It's about a heart-healthy beef that can actually help you lose weight. I did finish the piece. It was about 550 words.

Vixmom, do you mean this one?

That’s the one. Vixdad, Paul McGann (movie doctor) , yours truly and Sylvester McCoy (Doctor 7)

I didn't get far enough into it to form an opinion. I was like you on "The Tiger's Wife."
I am more interested in Atwood's The Testaments. They're due in soon.
Vixter and Vixhubby are hosting a Friendsgiving on Saturday
Vixhubby has been texting me asking for recipes
I am loving having him for my son
I had the Cannelonni and Mannicotti (one of each).

One of each, interesting. I don't think I have seen that combination offered before.
Well, after my second viewing of Holiday, I still don't like it very much. Too much of the evils of being rich, but You Can't Take It With You is more fun. I think The cast is really good, and it was fun to see Jean Dixon, who starred on Broadway in Kaufman & Hart's Once In A Lifetime, which happens to be my current bus read. Annabelle loved it, and we will have to suffer through her attempts to speak like Hepburn until I can divert her with something else. I much prefer The Philadelphia Story, so we may watch that tonight.
Tomorrow will be payday!
