Today's fresh hell: as I sat on the toilet seat and sifted the litter, a drop of water fell on me. I have a bad ceiling leak. Because I currentl;y cannot stand up straight, it's an ordeal to look up, The ceiling shows signs of a leak that has run across the ceiling above the sink and the toilet and to the corner where the litter box sits. I am not happy about this.
The building super just stopped by to check out the bathroom ceiling and take a few photos of it. He then went upstairs to check on the neighbor above me. He knows I'll be out for a couple of hours to see the doctor, so hopefully things will be in action by the time I return.

I am home from my HMO with a colonoscopy referral, new pain prescriptions, and a weight loss of 12 more pounds. I am now down to 188, which I haven't weighed since sometime around 1985. My goal is 160.

It's not. It's a memory care unit. And it's sad.
I think one of the problems inherent in a series like this is that there's little tension between Poldark and Demelza. They're too much at peace and in love with each other.
