Well, you've read the notes, the notes were written and ready to post at midnight, I got distracted, I guess, and then thought I'd posted them, and now it is time for you to post until the forgetful cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: BEAUCOUP!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I've had better nights, but it was better than the night before, and I got some sleep.
-
A musical based on "The Nanny" is in the works. I loved the TV series.
-
As for "Young Frankenstein," talk about turning a brilliant film intop a mediocre musical. They never learn!
-
This morning I must see my podiatrist, the wonderful Dr. Corrado, before I go to City Center. I hope Joshie has finished all the library work for tomorrow's Love Life orchestra reading.
-
Once again, Amazon has failed me. I've found this cat treat that both Stella and Thatch love, and now that they count on a little bit each night for a treat, Amazon appears to no longer stock it!
-
Good morning, all.
-
BK sez:
The movie version of The Glamorous Life.
Oh, good one! Thank you. With the infamous repeated chord passage they didn’t dumb down for ordinary mortals. I need to see what I can do with it myself. I’ve been fortunate not to have had it slapped down in front of me in auditions.
-
Right now I need to finish up with the cats (who do I think I am? DR Elmore?) and head out to return the score I scanned. And then I need to work on other music.
-
A musical based on "The Nanny" is in the works. I loved the TV series.
I couldn’t watch it...I couldn’t get past Fran Draschers voice, to me, it’s like nails on a chalkboard
-
Good morning!
-
DR George I enjoyed your tale of the keyboard for gaming and the photos. Neve looked cute curled up with the keyboard.
-

Did Amazon take you to Whole Foods to buy it?

I understand that but loved the show anyway.
-
Isn't a beaucoup something you wear around your neck?
-
DR GEORGE has a nice new keyboard and mouse.....
I bought a smaller keyboard to use - I have to have a wireless keyboard and mouse because I don't have enough USB ports...thank you, HP!
But I think this is the last HP computer I will buy.....I have had a couple of different brands and I like SONY best, I think.
I am not an APPLE person.
-
Plays with 6 or fewer characters.....hmmmm......
The Sunshine Boys
I'm not sure about that one....it may have seven.....
-
T.O.D.
All of my one-character plays. :D
GABLE
TRACY
LOMBARD
CLIFTON WEBB
ORSON WELLES
YVONNE DE CARLO
DICK POWELL
JOLSON
IDA: THE LAST LUPINO
etc., etc.
;)
-
Another play I have a special affection for is AN INSPECTOR CALLS.
I did that one in college: University of Washington.
-
Doctor's appointment today.
Injections in my back.
:(
-
Vibes the injections work!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Doctor’s visit vibes for Druxy.

-
I’ll think of some one-person shows later.
-
Does "Six Characters in Search of an Author" have 6 or fewer?
-
Maybe it's time to watch TCB in "Sleuth" again?
There are like 8 characters in that, though.
-
Maybe it's time to watch TCB in "Sleuth" again?
There are like 8 characters in that, though.
Multiple characters in the wonderful Greater Tuna, too, which should be on my list.
-
Two!
-
There’s some Shaw and O’Neill that belongs on that list. Candida, naybe, and A Touch if the Poet.
-

-
Rehearsal vibes for MR BK & Co(s)
-
I hadn't cooked since Monday, so I made some pork chops and mac & cheese today..... Turned out okay.
-
It is nearly 2 p.m. and my mail has not arrived today......this is most unseemly.
-
I'm up, I'm up - five hours of sleep - could not fall asleep.
-
A musical based on "The Nanny" is in the works. I loved the TV series.
I saw that too, and I also loved the TV series!
-
As for "Young Frankenstein," talk about turning a brilliant film intop a mediocre musical. They never learn!
I guess Mel Brooks thought that he could capture the success that was the musical version of The Producers. ::)
-

INJECTIONS FINISHED.
I'm still here.

DR JANE had her coronation yesterday.....Elizabeth II only got ONE crown!
Lucky me ;D

I found the salmon, added it to my Amazon cart and this showed up:
Whole Foods Market Subtotal (1 item): $9.99

-
Now I need to figure out how to remove it from my cart.
-
I deleted it from my Amazon cart.

Ditto to EVERYTHING (except Billy Bishop Goes to War because I've never heard of it).
-
Sneezing a lot today. The cedar pollen is terrible.
-
I am home from my peregrinations and happy to be here.
-
I like a nice peregrination once in a while.
-
So do I.
-
Good afternoon.
-
Magdalena got spayed today. I will pick her up in about an hour.
-
Sandra put the carrier on the floor and Magdalena walked in to investigate; Asha took off running.

TOD: Forever Plaid; The 39 Steps
-
Magdalena got spayed today. I will pick her up in about an hour.
Is Magdalena the calico? I'm still confused about your current kitty household: Leonard, Asha, and Magdalena? You need to post more photos, please.
-
More cat pictures are always appreciated by the likes of me.
-
Page Three.
-
Anyway the mail finally came - sales literature AND the monthly sewer bill.
-
I have finally decided on the title of my autobiography.
-
Glad to hear that MR BK is up and DR DRUXY survived the injections.
DR DRUXY did your stepson decide yet if he is moving to Texas?
-
Magdalena got spayed today. I will pick her up in about an hour.
Wishes she heals quickly.
-
Sandra put the carrier on the floor and Magdalena walked in to investigate; Asha took off running.
;D Good luck she walks right into it next time.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
I've been a bit under the weather for a couple days. I was feeling better yesterday, then had a very bad night and felt like you-know-what this morning. My remedies helped, though, and I managed to take care of a couple phone calls, albeit with little voice, and a few other things.
-
Speaking of THE NANNY, I rented it and have been watching it anew. When it first aired I was in a dark place. My dad was dying and I returned to California to see things through. I didn't expect to like the show, but it turned out to be just what I needed. I love Niles, the butler! I'm enjoying it again and am impressed with both the writing and the production.
-
Once again, Amazon has failed me. I've found this cat treat that both Stella and Thatch love, and now that they count on a little bit each night for a treat, Amazon appears to no longer stock it!
Apparently, Amazon has been making life difficult for many of the smaller third-party merchants. Some things I purchased in the recent past are no longer available.

I hope these are not sclerotherapy, which I found extremely painful.
Vibes you feel better soon.

Isn't that the truth!
-
Sandra put the carrier on the floor and Magdalena walked in to investigate;
the first and last time, I imagine.
-
Jane, thank you for the card. Much appreciated.
-
I have no news.

In this case I believe it is because they now own Whole Foods, and since Whole Foods sells the products want you to buy it there.
-
I do have a question for TCB, though:
Now that Nicky's medication dosage has been straightened out is he crying any less? Was the problem with the medication?
-
Jane, thank you for the card. Much appreciated.
You are welcome.
-
TTFN.
-
The Wildside website says they are temporarily sold out.
https://wildsidepetproducts.com/read-me
-
That could explain why other sites, with better prices than Whole Foods, are out of stock.
-
The library had Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood, so I've got another three-hour flick to watch.
-
Not going to get all of it in tonight as I've got to teach two hours of dance classes tonight.
-

The Vixter and I are able to do that to restaurants
-
Glad to hear that MR BK is up and DR DRUXY survived the injections.
DR DRUXY did your stepson decide yet if he is moving to Texas?
If if he does, it won't be for a year or two.
-
I just heard that my former publicity client, Edd Byrnes, has died.
R.I.P., my friend.

Forgot to tell you, Vixmom, that I saw the Texas Roadhouse headquarters in Louisville. I think they have a wing devoted to you there.
-
Been writing all day, with only a quick trip to McDonald's for food.

WildSide Salmon is sold by Whole Foods?
-
Had the Muse Margaret call. I was going to be happy if she even tolerated the book. She said she began it last night, then got into bed to read more and ended up reading the entire 311 pages and she loves it - I'm so happy because she's kind of a good barometer for this one, for reasons you'll understand when you know what it is. Couldn't have been more pleased or happier with her reaction.
-
I've done about forty-six pages so far and will stop now, then resume later.

Magdalena the calico and Asha live with Sandra. Leonard lives with me.

Today before I left home, I set my computer to burn another Blu-ray of Sweeney Todd...one for me and one for ChasSmith. Now, I just have to send one to ChasSmith. :)
-
And now, I'm off.
Be back later.
-
Back from teaching a mix of salsa/mambo, waltz, tango and a tiny bit of foxtrot.
-
The three who showed up seemed to be happy with it.
-
Andrew Lloyd Webber has written a musical version of Cinderella. I guess if Sondheim can write one, and Rodgers and Hammerstein can write one, and who knows how many other versions exist, there's always room for one more.
-
Good night, all.
-
Back from a very good rehearsal, only our third - play is blocked, although I'm sure I'll be constantly adjusting things, especially when we get the set. These are really wonderful actors who could probably play the show next week. So, we'll be very prepared by tech.

I suppose so ::)
-
I'll have a couple of English muffins and do more pages, then write the notes, then do more pages.
-
So, for Equivocation, I'm not only running the sound board, but I've been asked to help design the sound. :)
-
I'm meeting with my co-sound-designer on Sunday, so I need to actually find some sounds. :-\
-
Fortunately, we don't need to come up with everything by then.
-
And there aren't a lot of sound cues, anyway...probably not even a dozen.
-
The show doesn't open until February 7, so we have until the first of February to finalize things.
-
Three weeks!
-
That's plenty of time. ::)
;)
-
And...
-
...now, we'd better at least get to page 5!

It snowed a little here in Tumwater this morning.

And then quickly melted away.
-
No snow here today.
-
But there was snow in Tacoma where I used to live.
