Well, you've read the notes, the notes were curious and dreamlike, and now it is time for you to post until the curious and dreamlike cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: NURTURE!
-
DR TCB and everyone else who is feeling poorly......
FEEL BETTER VIBES!
-
First post after Bruce.
-
I should be sleeping.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I have a quiet day at home. Around 3:00 I will leave to see my doctor for cortisone injections in my knees and hips.
-
After I tidy the apartment, I'll work on my taxes. Hopefully, the cats will be on their post-breakfast naps and I can work in peace.
-
DR vixmom, there should be a local Social Security office near you. You might want to make an appointment and ask questions. I did that when I was 64, and they were wonderful.
-
I slept quite poorly last night. I had a lot of dreams, but I remember only fragmented bits of them now. One involved my two brothers and me in the house where we grew up, and I believe DR Ginny was in one along with other friends, Barbara Cook was in another.

Thank you!

I've fallen in love with two 24-lb. pocket pitties on tomorrow's euthanasia list. Four of the ten dogs marked for death are one-year-old puppies who are marked for behaving like untrained pups. They deserve homes and training, not a lethal injection.
The ACC stupidly has no video on little Daly, but here's aforable little Greyson:

Time for kitty cleanup!
-
I am poorly prepared for our trip
-
Today will have to be a crazed rush so that Thursday is not and we can set off Friday we’ll rested
-
Kitty cleanup went smoothly. Annabelle and Stella are playing quite rambunctiously this morning.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I took half a Benedryl last night and feel groggy. It rained last night and I feel the allergens in the air already.
-
Terry Jones of Monty Python fame has died.

Vibes for TCB.

Oh no I just heard a Monty Python’s Terry Jones died at age 77
-
Ah, John heard it first

I wonder what would happen if she tried to type The Firth of Forth.
-
George, thanks for linking that article last night.
TCB, we don't have the rights to do a feature film of the "Last Starfighter" musical, but we do have the stage rights of course, and also what in 1999 was called the right to do "Great Performances" type of audiovisual recordings of performance of the Play.
-
This is probably Page Two.
-
Just as I thought.

Finding the doctor vibes for DR FJL.

Yes DR VIXMOM talk to someone at the social security office....there are all kinds of strange rules that apply and you don't want to miss an opportunity or be left out.
I signed up in May, 2015, three months before I turned 65 in August, 2015. But I was only working part time and had private insurance coverage.... I notified them I would be opting out in August....when my Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plan that I had through the State would also begin.....
Mine was easy, yours may be more complicated.
-
I am late today....a few things had to be done this morning.
-
I did indeed find my London Promises and Gone With the Wind, so I don't have to order new ones......
-
MR BK - the Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that your dream indicates that you value such items as films and music much more than those who are in possession of them do.....and that it is possible such a good deal will come your way between Jan 23 and Feb 23....

I have had many of that kind of dream over the years, usually involving books and the other items in BK’s dream, but occasionally stuff like good vintage stereo equipment. I think we who love these things, and for whom they have great value, all want to stumble across that treasure trove.
-
Bills are all paid up, in spite of Annabelle's attempts to help, and I've finally had breakfast and my meds for the day.
-
For a few years starting around 1997 I tried keeping a dream journal, in which a few of these treasure trove dreams are recorded. I took care in describing every dream I deemed worth remembering, large and small, and I’ve recently thought about taking that out and reading through it. All of the general “epic” and musical dreams are still of interest, as are those of this type.
It’s so weird, though. When I tried reading through some of them several years ago, there were many that, literally, I couldn’t recognize in the slightest. A couple of those even had little diagrams I’d made. So we think that by writing them down, that that should be no problem. Right? But with so many of them, that just ain’t so. It’s fascinating.

Finding the doctor vibes for DR FJL.
There was a funny Archie Bunker line about finding someone to deliver the urology at a funeral.
-
It's actually looking like more doctors take the new plan than the old plan! But the doctors I'm used to don't all seem to be on the new plan.
-
Jrand, do you recall that once there was a summer series that advertised itself as if Flip Wilson was going to be presenting Helen Reddy, but it turned out to e a Helen Reddy summer series where Flip Wilson was nowhere to be seen.
-
I remember the folks in the dining room of the Homowack Hotel asking if we wanted the to switch the Tv to the Flip Wilson and Helen Reddy comedy hour.
-

Now, that would be cool!! :D

New avatar!
<------ This is my new official work photo. :)

Actually, the official photo is square (and twice as large):
-
Nice photo, George
-
Got all the incidental music for the play recorded and off to Richard Allen so that will now get done.
-
Nice photo, George
Thanks, John. I actually like it, too...except that I didn't shave that morning. ::)

Great photo, DR George!
-
I really like Dr Re. He's suggested that instead of back surgery on my lumbar discs I see a pain secialist for epidurals. He thinks back surgery over 70 is useless. I'll talk to my doctor about it.
-
I think the injections are doing good things at the moment. I'll have a better opinion tomorrow.

Good news! And Good Luck!

Yes DR GEORGE nice new photo.
The local NBC affiliate, once the home of Frances Farmer, said sort of "South America, take it away" - and stopped broadcasting the impeachment proceedings at 4 p.m. so we could enjoy Judy Judy and an hour and half of local new$.....

Concert commentary is finished.

This morning Keith & I got our permanent crowns. Two at once, for me, feels strange. I just hope beginning tomorrow my mouth & teeth stop being extra sensitive.

Yeah it actually Vixdad who’ll turn the magic #. I’m 2 years away yet. He carries our medical insurance so this will be interesting

I was wondering why you were asking so soon.
If he carries the insurance for both of you then I would think he wants to keep it for at least another 2 years.

Went to a new Brazilian steakhouse tonight as part of our Restaurant Weeks.
-
Boy, did I strap on the feedbag.
-
The salad bar was wonderful. In addition to the smoked salmon, charcuterie and cheeses, there were all sorts of wonderful salads: hearts of palm with olives and caperberries, artichoke hearts with pimento, roasted red peppers with buffalo mozzarella.
-
My moment of realization 9f how things would be came when my 2 year put her hand over my mouth when I was singing to her and said “ it’s ok Mama , I’ll sing to you”
-
Then the meats arrived. I loved the leg of lamb, the various cuts of beef, including one stuffed with mozzarella, a Parmesan-crusted pork loin and sausage. I passed on the chicken. I've eaten enough chicken lately.

Sounds like something someone would say to me.
-
Finally got the two-disc set of Fosse Verdon. Sam Rockwell looks like Christopher Guest playing Bob Fosse. I do like Michelle Williams. Her body's too thin, but her take is more successful.
-
Gratuitous post No. 100!
-
Kelli Barrett as Liza Minnelli was also too thin. When they did the Mein Herr number, I wondered where Minnelli's full-bodied Sally was. Minnelli's costume was so tight, it wanted to bust off her. Barrett's looked like it was a size too large.
-
Good night, all.
-
Good evening.
Good evening.
I am enjoying a good laugh at your quote.

You must not turn on the TV when you get home from work. Three hours of non-stop news coverage on all the local stations.
-
Good evening.
-
Hello, George.
-
Mr. Peanut has died.
-
We must move forward.
-
We are running out of time.
-
Yesterday was much busier.
-
Oh, I forgot to mention yesterday that I got the TV working again.
-
It was the batteries in the input.
-
Hello, George.
Hi, Tom.

I didn't go directly home tonight.
-
I went to Dairy Queen for dinner.
-
I hadn't been there in quite a while.
-
We made it to page five.
-
But not much farther.
-
And when I got home, I started watching episodes of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Late Night with Seth Meyers so that I can delete them from my DVR.
-
Mr. Peanut has died.
R.I.P. Mr. Peanut. :'(
-
Oh, I forgot to mention yesterday that I got the TV working again.
Whew!
-
Q: What do you call a pink cow?
-
It was the batteries in the input.
Don't you hate it when it takes so long to figure out something so simple??
-
A: A Dairy Queen!
-
A: A Dairy Queen!
:))

It was the batteries in the input.
Where did “input” come from? I typed “remote.”

When did Michael Bloomberg suddenly become Mike Bloomberg?
-
When did Michael Bloomberg suddenly become Mike Bloomberg?
It's called "branding."
;)
-
I suppose you’re right.

In that crazy Titanic book I am reading, one of the characters is Thomas Andrews, the man who designed the Titanic and died in the sinking. As the book goes on, the author apparently got tired of typing his whole name, which is understandable.

How does the author refer to him?
-
But, instead of calling him Andrews which most authors would do, he started calling him Thomas, which I think is very weird. But then, as he goes further, he starts calling him Tom. It is so strange, if it wasn’t so weird it would be funny.

:o That is weird!
-
Does he refer to other people in the same way?
-
I don’t think so. Except when he’s quoting dialogue and calls characters by their nicknames. And that is okay.
-
It wouldn’t be quite as bad if this were a fictional character, but Thomas Andrews was a very famous man.
-
I doubt even his wife ever called him Tom.
-
Good night, George.

Good night, Tom.

...now...

¡¡¡six!!!
