Well, you've read the notes, the notes were very moving in an unmoving way, and now it is time for you to post until the moving cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: SONIFEROUS!
-
First post after BK...surprisingly.
-
Well, yesterday was a day. I was able to slerp in and dilly dally for quite a while. Then, I got up and finally attended to my morning ablutions in the early afternoon. ;)
-
I eventually got out of the house and went to my sister's for a bit and met my niece's new cat (I forget what she named him), then went to my parents' to switch and hang a couple of clocks, then I went to the theater.
-
We had a really good show tonight. I was only late on one or two cues. ::) Fortunately, nothing was too distracting. Then we had a fun cast party at pug's that went really late, and now I've been home for an hour or so, and almost ready for bed.
-
Today we have our matinee, and my friend Margo us going to see it. I'm sure that we'll go out to eat afterward.
-
Yesterday, Jane asked:
How does Alexis feel about being born on Valentine's Day? I have my concerns. Our D-I-L thinks it is great.
Actually, I don't know how Alexis feels about it. I can ask Margo, Alexis' mom.
-
And now, I'm, off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I just remembered I needed to make out an invoice for Mack & Mabel, so I did.
-
I'm hoping I can finish up my tax work today. The office called me yesterday to confirm Tuesday's appointment. There's nto much left to tally.
-
I had a doozy of a dream last night. I cannot remember the beginning, something about an old mink coat, but I was seeing a performance of Brigadoon with a young lady wearing this mink. We got to the sword dance at the end of Act One, and I was suddenly in medieval Scotland watching a sword dance. I was the heir to the throne and I was being trained to take over the throne. We were in this cave and we walked through a narrow corridor and up steps and I was back at the theatre with my date, and I saw someone I thought was an old friend at the bar. It was Roger Abel, whom I've known since 1969 when he was a high school junior and whom I have not seen since he moved from New York to Los Angeles around 1983. He's been a set decorator for years in film and TV.
In the dream he had moved back to NYC, still looked like he was around 30 while IU was my decrepit old self. He was on the crew, and they were preparing the set for another play. I found the young lady with the mink, then I was onstage and then I woke.

I miss my iTunes. Jack Greenleaf has not returned my email or Facebook message about my request for his aid. I may have to call his dad for his phone number.
-
Good morning, all.

I like a good slerp, too. Never seem to get enough.
-
Good morning to everyone I hope everyone has a fabulous week
-
Good morning, all.
-
Well, here we are again. A matinee day.
-
I had a somewhat memorable dream last night, too, but I can only remember a snippet of it. Sounds contradictory, no? The part I definitely recall is me trying to fold a large blanket and failing miserably. I’d actually folded a couple of blankets in the past few days, so there’s no mystery where that came from. I *think* the surroundings were yet another office-where-I-used-to-work kind of place. But nothing more has come into focus yet.
-
Time for some breakfast!
-
Sunday!
-
Talkback vibes for MR BK.
-
Matinee vibes for DR CHAS SMITH and DR GEORGE.
-
Good morning!
-
Congratulations, Jane and Keith!
-
DR elmore has the most interesting dreams!
-
This morning has been nothing but frustration, the most irritating being that I have lost my remote for my CD player. I should have put it back in its usual place yesterday, but since I planned on listening to the samne recordngs today, I left it on my night stand. Around 4:00 this morning, Stella climbed onto it and knocked several things off. I've searched al;l around the night stand and I can't find it!
-
Congratulations, Jane and Keith!
Thank you.
-
DR TCB if I were Tracy I too would be mad, but still glad to have been told the truth.
-
Well, the remote turned up under my bed many feet away from the night stand, so I am greatly relieved.
-
This cute little 11-week-old puppy named Benny was stolen on Feb. 12 in Illinois. I hope his owners can get him back. He's so adorable.

I am happy you found it.

A.E. Hotchner has died at 102. He wrote Welcome to the Club with Cy Coleman, a score I always wanted BK to record. He was also friends with Hemingway and Paul Newman.
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep.
-
Sunday afternoon greetings! Fr. Richard is home from Beavercreek (Dayton ‘burb) where’re he conducted today’s service. He brought home Famous Recipe chicken and trimmings for lunch and leftovers.
-
Tallies are finished! All I need to do is write up the list of deductions, payments, contributions, etc. from my notes to a clear sheet for my accountant. What a relief!
-
Decided to finish the fixes, so I did and sent that off to the proofer for a final look-see before I send to Grant. So, I'll mosey on over to the theater for the second act, talkback, and then pizza!

I like a good slerp, too. Never seem to get enough.
Is a good slerp a West Coast euphemism for, you know, a good slurp?

With Terry Hands, so many credits, but somehow known by many for the musical Carrie.

Matinee vibes for DR CHAS SMITH and DR GEORGE.
Thanks, Jrand!

I shall now be on my way to the theater.

Oops, I should have done this earlier...
DITTO!
-
The show is going well...for the most part. I missed one light cue, but it was a short cue. I was able to move to the next cue pretty quickly.

Audience-wise, we had about 80 pre-sold, so it's a good sized house.

Nora, Annabelle's friend on the fifth floor, has been euthanized for cancer, and her owners are in grief over it. She was the prettiest little dog, small, friendly, just adorable.

Oh man. Sad and horrible.
-
Back from the matinee and ready for four days off.
-
Aww,,,,very sad. And I hope they find Benny the shi-tzu.....every time I see a photo of one, I still miss my Precious.....over two years now, and it's still so very quiet around here.
Those little paws leave big footprints.

That is heartbreaking :(

Welcome to the Mercury Retrograde in Pisces....
Just when you thought you had recovered from the last Mercury retrograde cycle, another one comes around to throw you off course. Although planetary retrogrades come around like clockwork, there are some that are better than others—and Pisces' advanced sense of intuition can help you navigate this one pretty well so that losing your mind isn't an option.
True, Mercury retrograde in Pisces slows down the pace in an often fuzzy, rather confusing kind of way, but knowing you can tap into the Fish's advanced sense of intuition is like a secret weapon at your disposal. As your brain takes a break from all things detail-oriented as it rebels against Mercury's logical, orderly outlook, it can refocus on finding creative solutions to the problems this retrograde creates.

So sorry to read that. Vibes for her owners.
-
I just read a news story about a 21-year-old Canadian woman in Wuhan says she won't evacuate because she can't abandon her cat.

Oh, no!
-
Well, the show's over for this weekend, and my car is finally unblocked. I'm going to meet my friend Margo at Mercato's for an early dinner. I have a gift card, so I won't have to pay. ;D
Until later...again!
-
But before I go...
-
PAGE THREE DANCE!!
-
:D
-
Has anyone seen Midsommar? It stars Florence Pugh, who was so memorable in Lady MacBeth as well as Little Women.
-

Oh, no!
She is ok though it is hard. She moved there to be with her boyfriend & he was out of town on business when the quarantine began. At least they can talk every day.
-
We had another video chat this evening. Until we meet Freyja in person I hope they continue sending videos & chatting so we can watch her grow.
-
Back from second acting the show, the talkback and then pizza.
-
Pizza sounds good. I was in the mood for fried fish and shrimp.
-
There's about 15 minutes left in Midsommar and it's gotten really creepy. And very effective. I will likely have a bad dream or two over this one.
-
We had another video chat this evening. Until we meet Freyja in person I hope they continue sending videos & chatting so we can watch her grow.
Nice!
-
After the show, Margo and I went to Mercato's (http://www.mercatoristorante.com/).
-
We both had their Caesar salad, but I had it with chicken and Margo had it with salmon.
-
Usually, the chicken has been a cut up breast piece, but this time is was shredded...and kind of dry.
-
And I don't love shredded meats, but I didn't send it back.
-
It was okay enough, and the salad itself was very good.
-
I really like their Caesar dressing and the bread that they give you. :)
-
Earlier today, my niece called and asked if I could get some cat food for her, so I got that and dropped it off.

Are they home already?
-
Well I went to church this morning
-
I was the lay reader for the day
-
Then I did a little shopping at Fred Meyer and the Dollar Tree...nothing I need, just some impulse shopping.
-
Chatted with Mom at coffee hour for about 30 minutes
-
Then went to the deli and got a egg sandwich for vixdad
-
Came home and made breakfast for myself
-
I just wanted a homemade omelet today...
-
Onions, green peppers, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, Muenster cheese and ham
-
Then we watched some of a Netflix series Virgin River
-
I'm now watching a previous episode of Doctor Who. I'm now five episodes behind.
-
Then vixdad put the kitchen cabinet back on the wall
-
And then we went out dishwasher shopping
-
We ended up at Lowes
-
They are going to have someone come around to measure the space to be sure the dishwasher will fit before they order it
-
So now we wait for a call
-
The dishwasher is ridiculously expensive but vixdad wanted one with a good rating as he says he wants this to be the last dishwasher we buy for this house
-
The satisfaction rating was 100%
-
So we’ll see....
-
My iPad is down to 1% power I forgot to charge it so goodnight
-
After Midsommar, I started the new BBC version of Howards End. I'm really enjoying it, though I think it misses the James Ivory touch. Yet, the cast is wonderful, iwth the exception of Julia Ormond, whose talents have somehow always escaped me. Tracy Ullman is a riot.
-
I did manage to get my roses trimmed back this afternoon. And yet it might freeze in a couple of days.
-
That said, I need to get to bed.
-
Gratuitous post No. 99!
-
Good night, all.
-
Roses trimmed? John, do you have a house?
(Maybe that's typical outside if NY?)
-
And I don't love shredded meats, but I didn't send it back.
I hope you complained that you didn't care for the change.
-
We both had their Caesar salad, but I had it with chicken and Margo had it with salmon.
Was the salmon a whole piece?

They went home around 8:00 last night.
-
The hospital room had a nice view of downtown and the lake.
-
So we’ll see....
What is it?
-
Good evening.
-
After dinner out last night, I went out to eat again today.
-
My friend, Diane, and I met up for lunch today.
-
We hadn’t seen each other since she unretired.
-
She retired from the state about two years after I did.
-
I think she felt jealous that I didn’t or couldn’t go to work antmore, and she did.
-
She was having emotional and physical problems due to extreme stress on the job.
-
She finally decided that it was too difficult to continue working.
-
Unfortunately, she found that she couldn’t survive on her retirement income.
-
So, she went back to work.
-
It turns out that she didn’t need to retire as much as she needed to get out of the job that she was working.
-
Now, she has found a new state job, minus the earlier stress, and everything seems to be going well.
-
One more post.
-
PAGE FIVE DANCE!!

No, the salmon was shredded, too. I don't remember if that used to be shredded, though.

Hi, Tom.
-
So now we have fewer chances together since I am in Puyallup and she is down south in Lacey.
-
That isn’t a very long distance, but during the work week, the traffic, both directions, on the freeway makes it tough to fight on weekdays.
-
So, this weekend we made it happen.
-
So, we met for lunch at Fall’s Terrace in Tumwater (George’s neck of the woods).
-
She was having emotional and physical problems due to extreme stress on the job.
That's too bad.
-
Unfortunately, she found that she couldn’t survive on her retirement income.
Oh, no!
-
Each Sunday, they offer a turkey dinner and a pot roast dinner (while supply lasts) in additi9n to s3veral Brunch specials.
-
Now, she has found a new state job, minus the earlier stress, and everything seems to be going well.
That's great!
-
We got there at 11:30, when they opened, and we both ordered the roast turkey dinner.
-
It was delicious, although the helpings seemed a bit smaller than they used to serve.
-
Still, it was plenty of food for two old people.
-
So, we met for lunch at Fall’s Terrace in Tumwater (George’s neck of the woods).
Nice.
-
After we ate, we caught up on all of the news of the day.
-
After that, I came home. I planned on taking a nap, but I just couldn’t fall asleep.
-
So, that is the full report on my Sunday.
-
And now it is time for bed. Good night.
-
Good night, Tom.
