Brother George, saw you in your new mask, you never looked better!
I think you need a shave, tho. your beard is getting curly.
Nice mask DR GEORGE.
Battery vibes for MR BK.
I thought you got a new battery not too long ago - or was that the other car?
If it was THIS car, maybe there is a warranty.....my battery warranty is good for a 5-year replacement if it goes bad.
I saw that BJ's gas price was $1.84 yesterday. What did I report a week or so ago, $1.70-something? So it's just about up to what I paid for my March 19th fill, of which I still have a quarter of a tank. And we thought that was low. Now it seems a little high! :)
There've been battery issues before but not replacing it - that's been over three years now.
Nice mask George!
A flat brown pigmentation on my right firearm has mutated into shades of red and grown asymmetrically so I am going to have it looked at
BK, maybe you should release a CD of Spivy with that other bizarre cabaret singer Bricktop?
A vibe or two wouldn’t go amiss....
I wore it to work and so far, people have enjoyed it, too!
I am completely exhausted. I don't think I'm sick, but I have absolutely no energy today.
Just in case....
Well, not gonna be here at eleven - while I was doing a phone update they called and said they didn't have the battery in stock. That's because the gal called the same person as last night and I'd told her already those folks didn't have it. So, now they have to do what they should have done originally - call around and find it and THEN send someone - so I didn't have to get up when I got up and I'm sure they'll now tell me it will be after noon IF they find the battery. The problem, of course, is that many stupid people in LA never bothered to start their cars during the stay at home, so there were a lot of dead batteries and probably a run on them now that they can drive places. They should be calling back shortly.
Vibes for DR vixmom's whatever!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you have to install a Walmart battery yourself? Or do some Walmarts have an auto service area?
I'm glad you are safe at home while you wait for the battery, BK. A couple years ago, I was ready to leave the church when one of our members who was probably 93 (she's 100 now) had a dead battery. In Phoenix. In July. It was probably 115 degrees. I waited with her inside until AAA came. She's actually lucky I was still there.
I have had to wait on the side of the freeway for a tow when I had a tire blow out. That was scary.
Went to the library. The book return slots were open, so I got rid of the three items that have been in my car for months.
I had to phone them and give them my library card number, which I have memorized. They brought everything yo s table out front and left it there.
I bought a one year battery at WalMart - and they installed it.
And thirteen months later it died......on the button.....
I got my new one at Car X - and it has a five year replacement warranty.
My brother had told me there was no such thing as a one year battery.....then he went to WalMart to get one.....and it had a one year warranty.....I just said.....yea.....I know.... Or something like that.
The librarian I dealt with has had a long career with the San Antonio Public Library system. She told me she didn’t know if the library would ever reopen for browsing. That can all be done online.
I got everything on my Aldi list.....I couldn't find the family pak of Ritz Crackers advertised, but I found everything else and more....and I only spent $89.....

No, it can't all be done online...that's just propaganda! There are services that our library provides that also can't be easily done online. We're a library that serves mostly rural, mostly low income patrons, so not everyone here even has access to the Internet, let alone high speed Internet. We WILL eventually open back up to public browsing and access. :-\

Amazing so many people didn't drive at all, not even to pick up a few supplies.
So far I still have the old home page.

And the wrong people are driving. I had green lights today and was going straight when an oil truck decided to turn into my lane. I laid on the horn, but the truck just kept coming. Thankfully no one was in the lane to my left and I was able to avoid him.
Thank you for the vibes the doctor says it’s nothing to worry about , apparently I damaged the area somehow and it’s broken capillaries under the skin that I am seeing. Odd since it doesn’t hurt but he says it will go away in a week or two....if it doesn’t then I need to go back
Just finished Cathie Pelletier's excellent novel, The One-Way Bridge. I tried to stretch it out, but when I got to within 70 pages of the ending, I just made time for it. Beautiful book.
Vibes mom gets that cast off tomorrow

Tonight we watched MR. BLANDINGS BUILDS HIS DREAM HOUSE.
Very strange mask, George.
Last time I had people compliment me on my new mask, turns out I wasn’t wearing one.
I swung by the Humane Society today.
Semi-great moods are a good thing.
