You know, not one single person mentioned the cast for the upcoming Kritzerland. No one had any interest in that cast?
I always liked Jimmy STALWART and I thought his Oscar should have been for Mr. Smith Goes to Washington instead of The Philadelphia Story.....but that's okay.
Ian Holm has died. He was a magnificent King Lear.
Do you believe in the resurrection DR ELMORE?
BK, Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4, aka "Italian Symphony," is one of my favorites. It plays a big role in one of my favorite movies, Breaking Away. I also love Mendelssohn's incidental music for A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Today is going to be a day. My supervisor and I are going on a roadtrip to go to a couple of library branches in each of Timberland's five counties so that he can film...dressed in his actual drag persona, Mizz Honey Bucket ("that’s pronounced 'Boo-Kay', a**hole!")...some things for the library, but I don't know what. It's gonna be an adventure!

Darn. I'm not going on a field trip. :( Mizz Honey Bucket has a little problem with her eye and is just going to go to one library and be filmed by the person there, so I'm not needed. Oh, well.
The cast of the next Kritzerland Show is full of favorites....and Norm Lewis is a wonderful surprise.....
I look forward to it!

DR George, all dressed up and nowhere to go?

This has turned into a day from hell. Whole I was on the Big Ladder, the power strip holding the computer lamp, printer, and answering machine died. So I got out the dustbuster to clean around the strip before I proceeded. The dustbuster was clogged with something sticky like candy, but I have no memory of picking up anything like that. So I had to put away the Big Ladder and clean out the dustbuster before I could proceed to the power strip. No matter what I did, it's dead.
At least the cats have food.
It seems someone has taken all of the photos I posted in a Frances Farmer Facebook group and posted them on the IMDB Frances Farmer Presents page.....I hope they appreciated the work I did.....

Last night we watched Geraldine McEwan as Miss Marple in By the Pricking of My Thumbs, which to my surprise had the characters of Tommy and Tuppence, around 1948, about 25 years after their appearance in the series Partners In Crime.
My niece's husband had a procedure at Tisch Hospital in NYC......she and my niece are staying at the Shelbourne hotel while he recovers...

How rude! >:(
But I'm leaving soon for Austin and dinner with a friend who's only in for the night.
DR JANE it's my niece's husband in the hospital....so I guess he is my nephew-in-law.....
We are getting good reports and he has posted a couple of pictures and he looks good.
My niece was able to go into the room with him today....and maybe both she and my sister can go in tomorrow.
It is 90 degrees here......sounds like a song Cole Porter could write....

It is a bit cooler here at 86 degrees.
DR Laura are you in the mask at all times zone or outside of it?
Jane, in answer to your question, my Mom will be 88 next month
Yesterday our governor gave the mayors permission to make a decision. Earlier he had not allowed them to have any say. The mayor of my city made it mandatory. We'll see what happens.
My sister has sent two packages of masks. She said she's making lots of them and that she will keep making them because she expects we'll need them a long time and we will wear them out with repeated washing.
Back from Austin. It was sad having one last meal with Deborah before she moves to Florida.
Hello all. Thanks for the good wishes for my mom. She's continuing to improve. We had several offers on their lake home and accepted one a couple days ago. She had been using the equity in the lake home to pay expenses, now the loans will be paid off and she'll have enough to carry her expenses for care for at least a couple years. It's a huge relief for all of us. It will close mid July, but we don't foresee any problems. This is very good news as it is amazingly expensive to have 24 hour in home care, but that's where she wants to be - so that's where she'll be!

Congrats on accepting an offer and vibes all goes well.
We are allowed to have all businesses open here. Restaurants are allowed to have 100% capacity. A lot of places are still limiting it. I haven't gone out to eat in so I don't know if they are asking people to wear masks. I've been going to stores, the jail (we talk to our clients through the glass for now as there are covid cases there) and lots of other places. I don't generally wear a mask as I find it's not that hard to socially distance. The numbers here are still going down, of course we had massive testing going on when other places didn't have any

Thanks. it's really a big deal for the family, both saying goodbye to the lake and knowing mom will have the funds for her care

100% capacity, wow. I am also impressed you were able to have massive testing.
I saw your posting for the lake house it’s so beautiful, I am not surprised it sold, a shameyou couldn’t keep it in the family
Vibesfor your Mom and family too. I know how difficult things are now

Our two local hospitals set up their own testing very early on. I think that's part of the reason we were leading the country in numbers per capita for so long. Our numbers and hospitalizations are down, so something must be working

Yes, but the values there have skyrocketed, the taxes alone have gone crazy and the place needs work, I wouldn't use it much and my brother and his wife have decided they would rather travel than spending all the money for taxes and upkeep. Mom and Dad bought it as an investment for their future care, that future is here.
And now, I'm off. My mom called, asking if I could get some sodas to bring in addition to the mini cheesecakes. She said that Fred Meyer is having a sale, so if there's anything in stock at FM, I'll get some, then head to my parents' house. If the Tumwater FM doesn't have any (or enough), I can stop at the Lacey store, which is also on the way.
Be back later.
Have fun DR GEORGE.
MR BK is bathing in music lately.......

Last night the 1st waitress, and good friends with the couple, messaged that the sweet, wonderful dog Dazzle has cancer and only has a few days left :'(

DR George, your mask cracked me up
No new bunny, although there was one really cute one.
Nobody mentions not touching your face anymore.
