I got a good report from my M.D. today - but it was a nix on working on Shakespeare al fresco.
One wag on the Facebook page said he thought "al fresco" meant "without underwear" until he looked it up.....
TOD:
Some real disasters:
Battlefield Earth
Myra Breckinridge
Heaven’s Gate
From Justin to Kelly
The Madonna remake of Swept Away
The Poseidon Adventure remake
DR George, Henry sounds like a very friendly cat, much like Annabelle.
I like disaster movies.
My favorites are the AIRPORT movies.....and THE TOWERING INFERNO.....
Earthquakes, bees, and meteors headed for earth - not so much.
My biggest disappointment with THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE was that we didn't get a final ocean shot....just that tight shot of the hull as everyone climbed out.....
I wanted to see a pan that showed us what was left......
DR George the photo of Henry is great :) :))
George I am sorry about Mama Mia. Sadly I think it was the right call to make.

That reminds me of the jerk who played Harry when I played Sarah in COMPANY. He thought "a piece of Mahler's" meant - candy.

I liked the Henry picture.
Trini Lopez has died from the virus. He was 83 :(
That is a nice photo George.
Bernard Herrmann does one of the Ives symphonies and I like it, but everyone hates it because it's slow. I had no idea Variations on America was a comic number - I'll listen again. And I did enjoy symphony one, at least as done by Gould.

While Ann was visiting outside my door I was straddling the door to keep the cats from running out into the hall. Ann took this photo of Annabelle and me and just sent it to my email.

Love the shirt, DR Elmore!
She looks like she’s howling at the moon!
Had Jack in the Box for lunch - I don't do it very often but do enjoy their Breakfast Jacks and weird two tacos - and onion rings, which are the best fast food onion rings.

We love this show.
We’re about to start season 6, which I believe may be the last season
Jane, what did we eat?
The branches were gone and the three bins had been neatly lined up at the curbside
I really must write a letter of appreciation to the town supervisor

We love this show.
We just discovered it a couple of weeks ago

I am impressed they neatly lined up the bins.

Only because you ignored my comments over the last 6 seasons ;)
Vixdad cannot sit through a commercial without flipping channels and then we always comes back to the show in progress and we miss something which drives me crazy

Where's George dammit? Or Toby Dammit? And speaking of Toby Dammit, Criterion has announced the release of the year as far as I'm concerned: The Essential Fellini. New 4K transfers on eleven out of the fifteen films and it includes ALL the early films so I'll finally have my beloved The White Sheik on Blu-ray and hopefully one of the 4K transfers. Their DVD was a botch job and didn't even have the film's intermission card - hopefully they'll do this one right. But also La Strada, Il Bidone, I Vitelloni, Variety Lights, Nights of Cabiria, La Dolce Vita (probably the same transfer they issued as it was already 4K), 8 1/2 (praying for a new transfer), Juliet of the Spirits, Roma, Satyricon, Amarcord and a couple of other later films which don't really interest me.
