And then - earthquake - not much but I got off my chair and screamed at the top of my lungs, "STOP IT ALREADY! ENOUGH!" I like to think it worked
A Very Happy Birthday to DR Larry!! :D
I am honestly not sure how many incisions I have. I know there were several, as it was robotic surgery. And a longer one through which the kidney was removed. They are all covered up with white tape, and I imagine you're right that they won't go away easily; sort of like those damned stickers on supermarket apples.
Oh my, is it that time of year again?? :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our one and only DR ELMORE.
Happy birthday, Elmore. Hope it’s a great one.
Happy Birthday, DR elmore!
DR John G---to answer your question from last night. I saw "On the Basis of Sex" and enjoyed it very much.
... I need to dress and go down to pick up yesterday's mail, if there is any.
Happiest of happy happy birthdays to DR ELMORE!
Happy Birthday, dear DR Elmore!... I need to dress and go down to pick up yesterday's mail, if there is any.
Hope you found something from us!
Happy Birthday, Dear Elmore!
Happy Birthday DR Elmore! Hope you have a great day!
Happy New Year to those who celebrate.
We made all of the food and then had people stop by to pick it up. We decided not to eat all together. It's quite cold today to eat outside tonight. And we don't think that we should all eat at a table inside due to covid.
I am looking forward to having some yummy matzah ball soup tonight.
Now if only my eyes would stop hurting and my vision back to its normally shitty condition. I am far from the only person complaining of headaches. At least I am not more dizzy than usual as others are. Last night when the pain slammed into me I almost got up to use the oximeter to check my oxygen levels but didn't want to bother Keith. I think there may be a connection. This morning the numbers were ok.
DR JANE I had decided that I would throw the biscuits away.....but instead I crumbled them all and put them in the yard for the birds and squirrels and rabbits.
They usually eat in the early mornings, so most of them are still there....but they'll probably be gone when I get up.....tomorrow.
I'm very pleased to hear that the air in Jane's area is getting healthier. Is that true for you, George, or you, TCB?
My tape is skin-colored (ie, my skin color) and very difficult to see. Not that anyone asked. :)
MR BK your comment is still there.
Sorry DR GEORGE that is just the type of "look at me I made it better" staging that I really don't appreciate......had it been done to a contemporary song, I think I would have enjoyed it much better.

Wow, I am very proud to be a part of this.
"Democrats shatter ActBlue’s donation records after Ginsburg’s death".
Before noon on Saturday, donations to Democratic causes and campaigns on ActBlue since Justice Ginsburg’s passing had topped $45 million. (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/18/us/elections/democrats-shatter-actblues-donation-records-after-ginsburgs-death.html)
Food was good - I decided on Togo's - haven't been in at least four years. They no longer have the chicken salad sandwich I liked, so I got a "regular" (six-inch) pastrami for the main meal and a "mini" (three-inch) salami and provolone for the balance of the meal. The pastrami was great, and I just finished the salami, also very tasty. It was a good choice and pretty inexpensive. The two were 1200 calories, which is fine. No more food today.

I donated!
Mom thought she had sold off all his stamps, but there were some good ones in there. Too bad no one wants that stuff any more.

What will you do with the stamps?
Annaliese found two of Dad's old yearbooks. Very funny stuff. In the back, where there was a page for "Autographs," he had an engineering equation mapped out.
In the small yearbook (about the size of a theatrical souvenir book), she found a mention of him being one of the four quiet ones in his class.
I found a listening his senior year in which William Henry Griffin listed his nicknames: Bill and Elmer. No one ever called him Elmer as far as we know. We're still scratching our heads at that.
Then tonight we played dominoes. I had to teach Mom the rules again, which is kind of sad, because she had used dominoes to teach me how to add quickly back when I was six or seven and wanted in on the action.
More people can be in their cars and listen on their car radios on a specific station, like the way drive-ins broadcast their movie soundtracks instead of through wired speakers.
The military gun salute and flag folding ceremony will be at this service.
The military gun salute and flag folding ceremony will be at this service.
This will be very moving.
And that's what I know, so far.
Oh right. Have you considered doing the flag without the guns?
Of course if it is what he wanted.

The Flight Goes Nowhere. And It’s Sold Out.
People who miss flying are rushing to buy tickets for flights that land in the same place they depart from.
Of course if it is what he wanted.
Yeah. He originally wanted to be buried, but years ago my mom talked him into getting cremated (it's a lot less expensive), and he was okay with that, but he wanted the military guns.

I saw that, too! What's the point??
If they're allowed to fly in place, why no go to another place??
That's weird...I guess some people just have too much money. ::)
DR TCB did you see this story about what really might have sunk the Titanic?
https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/solar-flare-actually-sunk-titanic-194900308.html
Hello, George. Continued hugs to you and your family.
One more thing about those nasty icebergs back in 1912. The positions sent out regarding the spotting of icebergs were not much help to the Titanic due to the hours that had passed between when the iceberg Was spotted and also the ocean’s currents.
