DR ChasSmith, I just got an email from the NY State Dept. of Labor about three more payments through the LWA this week. Did you hear anything?
DR George, is it possible to make a DVD from that HBO Bette Midler show? If so, I would sure love a copy.
Just because . . .

Didn't sleep nearly as well last night, for some reason.
I have been away for far too long. I can't remember how to do any fancy formatting, and I've completely forgotten what service I used to use for "staging" images I wanted to post here.
For some reason, the fresh daily notes don't come up on my phone; I'll need to switch over to a computer to see them.
As I posted on FB, I am concerned that our November mail-in ballots, which were supposed to be mailed September 18th, have still not arrived.
At this point, I am more and more convinced that in-person early voting is the better option. It-s a health risk, though, which is the only thing that makes me hesitate.
A dilemma. But it is just too important to not be vigilant about it.
No smoke in the sky vibes for DR JANE.

If that 1976 HBO show is the one I’m remembering, I was at a friend’s apartment to watch it that evening and it was quite the big deal. In those earlier days of cable, there were plenty of us who didn’t have it yet depending on where we lived, and it was an EVENT to gather and see those specials. Sometimes I miss those days.
Also, DR George, may I ride along on this request?
The other HBO production I wish were on DVD is their Greater Tuna.
It's on Youtube, but the picture quality is pretty bad.

I’m biting my tongue bloody because I want to say something but I know better. We got an email from a v.p. here announcing the resignation of a top worker. In the email, it says, “During her tenor, Rochelle ...”
Funny, but I always thought Rochelle was a mezzo.

I resemble the tenure of your remark, sir!

DR Jane - thanks for asking. Feeling pretty good, except for not being able to sleep last night. No pain, just generalized soreness. I think that they said it takes roughly one week per hour of anesthesia for your system to fully void it. I was out about 4 hours.
Where does the ambulance take a victim of a Peek-A-Boo injury?
To the I.C.U....
Speaking of energy: I have none, and I am off to try to sleep.
From The Cave of the Yellow Dog, a Chinese film on TCM. Just beautiful.
Well, I'm leaving work so that I can mow my mom's lawn...and probably do some other stuff.
Be back later.
ENERGY VIBES FOR DR VIXMOM!

Wow.
Starting tomorrow morning we have several large rainstorms coming thru until the weekend.
Over one hundred businesses have permanently closed in downtown Seattle since March. Ouch!

That is very sad.
