It is Saturday, January 22nd. You didn't read it here first, but I just had to put it out there and state it, unequivocally.

And there is snow on the ground in Johnston SC.

It's not a lot of snow. Maybe a quarter of an inch, but it's white and it shows. Therefore, it counts.

It will be all gone as soon as the temperature rises above 32 degrees. It is currently 29 degrees.

DR TCB, for 8 sandwiches I used an 8-ounce block of Tillamook extra sharp cheddar cheese and most of a bottle of the chili sauce that DR George posted last night. What’s left in the bottle will be diluted with water and poured over a meat loaf before baking.

Having been bought by some company headquartered in a town called Danbury, Connecticut, we threw our last big holiday bash in Palm Desert.

Always enjoyed driving out there for whatever reason. Can you still see dinosaurs in the Banning Pass? Yes, looks like it. In Cabazon, to be exact.

I love a good patio heater or two.

When we were in Palm Springs we stopped to eat at a restaurant where all five heaters were broken. We passed and found a nicer restaurant with a lovely patio with pretty white lights on the trees. We each had our own heater :)

It ran almost three hours and was well worth the ten dollar investment. When they finally got into the real nuts and bolts of the score, and played a few selections showing their full score as they went along, I was able to screen-capture some pages I will greatly appreciate looking at later and comparing with what has gone before.

I'll be playing the piano part in Chicago in late March. That falls right between How to Succeed and Cinderella, after which there will be a bit of a breather before I jump into Carrie for the fall and The Streets of New York at the end of the year.

I don’t know much about music, but wouldn’t this composer! David Newman, have been arranging Leonard Bernstein’s WSS, not Sondheim. I didn’t know that you arrange lyrics.
