Well, you've read the notes, the notes launched the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the launched cows come home.

Good morning to everyone
-
Good morning, all!
-
I keep thinking today is my brother Randy's birthday. It's Friday.
-
Last night I finally had a really nice night of sleep. The cats all agreed to support my endeavor, and I rewarded them with a nice tuna breakfast.
-
After kitty cleanup this morning, I will settle in with the Jan. 6 hearings. I'm suire Stella will curl up next to me and sleep and Thatch will go into hiding when the roofing crew starts making noise,

It’s the name of a favorite restaurant in Maine.

I guess I should not complain since my usual opening word is actually a French word

I must get me to work!

Good morning, all.

Another op'n-- No, wait! That's not right. We're back to the show tonight, that's all.
This is the last week. It closes on Saturday night. There's a possibility that they could add a show to make up for the one missed last week, and that could be Sunday - which would be fine with me.
-
Good morning!

It's a word I do not believe fits into the Wordle "everyday usage" category. Maybe once, back in the 80s.

Good night's sleep, decent dreams which I barely can recall.
Today is Wednesday in Johnston SC. It is sunny and bright outside.
The current temp is 80 degrees. Expected high is 99 degrees. We "may" have afternoon thunderstorms.
All this area is under a heat advisory.
-
I may make a trek to Leesville this afternoon to see my chiropractor.
I have physical therapy at the VA tomorrow.
-
And one to grow upon...
-
-
No hearing today!
-
Congrats to DR GINNY......I also love the name Hannah.....
-
Last night's CLUE rehearsal was fine - but some folks are just not in on the joke of the script......so what they're doing doesn't really work...but there you are.
Tonight we have our first JOSEPH cast meeting, give out the scripts and schedules and answer dumb questions.
Still down three brothers - but I am optimistic. WHERE THE BROS AT?
-
I am excited for the IndieGOGO campaign.
-
My question for ASK BK DAY?
Was Diana Canova ever part of a girl quartet? Yesterday on The Ed Sullivan show, there were four girls singing like The Lennon Sisters...and one looked just like Diana.
He never introduced them by name, but she did say she was from California.....she soloed on "Respect" in the medley they sang.
-
I'm afraid.....but I am headed for Wordle with the clues from HHW.
-
Quiet day at HHW.
-
I went to the bank, the gas station (ouch), and the printing place to get my Rehearsal Schedules done.
I also remembered to put a bath towel over my steering wheel so it won't be hotty hot hot when I drive this afternoon about 5 p.m.
-
Show vibes for DR CHAS SMITH & Co.
-
I just filled my tank, too, at the greatest cost ever since I've owned a car.
-
As of last night, they'd held the price at $4.77/gal. for a solid three days.
It was $4.84 when I pulled in at noon today.
-
Apropos of nothing, I just got the hundredth or so weekly reminder that my macOS can be updated to Monterey. I'm waiting till the show is over, then I'll bite the bullet and take the plunge and perhaps call upon another metaphor or two, whereupon I shall upgrade from Catalina to Monterey, bypassing Big Sur and not collecting $200.
Once the dust settles on the OS, I'll upgrade the all-important MainStage to the current version which is now reported as perfectly stable. This is NOT something you do while you have a gig going on, or one upcoming, but it'll be nice to finally get up to date on everything starting Sunday or Monday.
-
I'm up, I'm up - six-and-a-half hours of sleep.
-
Proofing the campaign one more time then we'll go live in about an hour. Adding some out-of-print Kritzerland CDs.
-
Diana Canova was never part of a quartet.

Beautiful photos DR John, and they enlarged when I clicked on them.

-
From John:
Jane, the winds were so strong that we saw a semi blow over in the oncoming lanes as we were headed to Casper. It was scary. The driver seemed to be okay.
That doesn't surprise me. I am glad the driver was ok.
-
In high winds my cousin and her family were blown off the road, pulling a trailer didn't help, and down a small cliff. They all survived. After being airlifted away, my cousin had to have multiple surgeries on her leg. Her daughter had to wear a neck/back brace for a long time.
-
Amazingly, during the crash my cousin hung on to their Dachshund and kept her safe.
-
From John:
We had driven past and I called 911. I got an answering machine: “If this is an emergency, please hang up and dial 911.”
:o
-
DR George will you use your nice new mug?
-
AH! I shall have a look!
-
Have a LOOK!
-
I have purchased a PERK.
-
Thanks, MR BK. It must have been her doppelganger!

We have an actress in our CLUE show who looks just like Katrina Lenk.

Trying to finish Home Fire, a Pakistani/terrorist update of Antigone. It’s due back in 3 days. I have less than three hours to go. But I don’t have much time to listen. Can I make it?

Up from a nap. Lovely.
-
Also put up the very rare OOP soundtrack to How To Murder Your Wife by Neal Hefti, for anyone who may have missed it - a two-CD set.

I have been eating too much on this trip.

We had a couple of covid tests about to expire and decided to use them.
-
The print on the instructions is very small so we watched a video.
-
As suspected no covid for us.
-
I realize they don't all work exactly the same but I am glad we have an idea of how to use the kit before we actually need to use it.

So, it's officially official...I PICK UP MY NEW (automatic) SUBARU IMPREZA SPORT TODAY!! ;D

I'm leaving work around 4:00 and my niece will drive me there, and then I'll drive my new car off the lot!! I can't wait!!

Greetings from the loftiest of lofts.

I will have to look at the campaign and perks late tonight. Sounds good so far:

Aren't you trading in your old car?
No. I don't think I'd get anything for it. I'm actually giving it to some friends of mine for their son. They want him to know how to drive a stick shift.
-
I am super excited for DR George.
Thanks, Jane! I'll, of course, post pictures when I'm all done.

Congratulations, George, on your new baby!

George: Make sure you post a picture of the car...includng the dash, please.

I am reading an article and guess what....
-
it used today's wordle in a sentence, and it was used as an English word ;D
-
UPS finally called. The package is "missing" or "lost" and I have been urged to make a claim.
I have already done this via Amazon with the shipper. Will see what they say before filing a UPS claim. I think I shouldn't have to do that one, but I have already paid for the item and want it either replaced or reimbursed.
FWIW, I am having my doubts that I shall get the much-needed dehumidifier any time soon.
-
Got a much-needed adjustment at my chiropractor this afternoon.
I felt I was a bit off-center, as it were, and he confirmed that my pelvis was a bit unbalanced, which he fixed.
The key here, though, is how to prevent that from happening again.'
-
it used today's wordle in a sentence, and it was used as an English word ;D
I know quite a few Americans who have used it in describing the quality of a certain product.
-
I have physical therapy at the VA tomorrow morning.
I don't know how that will go, but I'll find out.

It seems Amazon should replace it quickly. Good luck.

Good news from DR GEORGE.
DR CHAS SMITH is pounding the keys ... but he should be done soon...done for the evening.
-
Both rehearsals went well.....tomorrow we block the first two numbers of JOSEPH.....so I will be done in plenty of time to go do my thing at the climax of CLUE.
-
Nice pictures from DR JOHN G.

Okay, PRIVATE PERK ALERT! A magnificent collection of photographs from the original production of FOLLIES. This lot includes the famous Time Magazine with Alexis Smith high-kicking on the cover, as well as approximately twenty-three photos - black and white, full color, several large mounted on board photos of the show girls, photo of Boris Aronson's set design, all major cast members are in these and they are all of very high quality. I'm thinking a fair perk price would be $400 - only about twenty a photo, but am open to offers. I'll also include Alexis Smith's opening night ticket for hubby Craig Stevens for the LA Shubert Theater opening night - it's encased in lucite or whatever they encase these things in and came directly from Ms. Smith's estate. I think 400's pretty good. The way this would work is that you'd make a contribution sans perk for the amount settled on and then we can ship that perk right away.
-
I've indigogoed twice tonight
-
I decided I am going to work to improve my health
-
Instead of eating a big lunch and sitting on my chair I decided to take a walk around the complex loop, which is snout a mile
-
I was wearing backless wedge sandals so i decided to swap thrm.out for the new slip on sneakers I had in the car
-
To avoid turning an ankle
-
I realized about half way through the walk I had made z terrible mustske wearing these new shoes without socks
-
Of course there was nothing to be done but to continue the walk
-
I am now sporting a blister the size of a half dollar on the back of each heel
-
When I got home I immediately shed my shoes and was making dinner barefoot
-
Because my feet are killing me
-
I decided to give up soda in favor of LaCroix
-
You know, gir my health, since I need to.lose weight
-
I managed to drop a can from about shoulder height to fall directly on the middle toe of my right foot
-
Looking after my health is going to cripple me
-
My van A/C is blowing hot
-
And my vans radio/ CD display has ceased displaying
-
So i.must be up early tomorrow morning to take mt van to the shop
-
Good night
-
AS ALWAYS...
What a story, vixmom!
-
I am dead tired, but by golly, I just picked up a li'l perk.
-
I want to congratulate DR George on the new car - which I think you said you're picking up tomorrow? I also think you made the right decision in jumping ship on the undelivered one in favor of this one with more goodies.
When my beloved old VW wagon died last year, I replaced it with a slightly newer Subaru wagon. (I LOVE the traditional station wagon configuration.) The VW was a 5-speed manual, and the Subaru is an automatic. But I'd thought about going to an automatic even before that -- not because I was actually tired of a manual, but because all of those fun years of driving with a clutch had also resulted in several instances of a very sore knee when I'd be stuck in stop-and-go traffic, and I needed a good break from that. And I am loving the automatic more than I ever dreamed. I still love a manual, but each situation calls for its own solution, and that was the right thing for me.
-
With that, I must say good night to y'all.
-
I am super excited for DR George.
Thanks, Jane! I'll, of course, post pictures when I'm all done.
I am looking forward to them. Don't forget to include the interior.
I'm home! I have a couple of pictures, but I forgot to take pictures inside. I'll have to do that tomorrow.

I'm very happy with the color.

I knew that it would cost more than my original manual car, but this cost a bit more than I expected. :o

Great news for George - can't wait to hear all about it.
Thanks, BK! It took a good couple of hours to go through the whole process.
-
After that was all done, I went to my mom's and friends of hers were there too, so they all got to see it.
-
Then, I went to my sister's and showed it off to her, her boyfriend, and her daughter.
-
After showing it off there, I came home and showed it to my friend and neighbor, Shelly.
-
The two of us went on a drive around town, and chatted and tried things out.
-
We turned on the A/C, the radio, and the heated seats!
-
And even though she was in the car with me, she called me to test the pairing of my phone.
-
Other than the echo, it sounded pretty good.
-
Oh, all the documents I signed were instantly given to me on a flash drive that looks like the key fob!

And...

-
The Indiegogo campaign is up to 21%!
-
Yep, was just about to drum roll - 21%! Ten hours. Gonna put up some more perks before I go to sleep tonight. Really glad that a dear reader got the RARE Court Jester 10" record - I don't know a single soul anywhere who has it.
-
Lovely car.
-
Hoping TCB shows up tonight.
-
I gotta tell you.
-
Most expensive perk so far - one executive producer for 1K. Second most expensive perk: $400 for the signed Bernard Herrmann.
-
Remember, if anyone wants to grab the big Follies package, offers happily accepted - want them in a good home.
-
Listening to some very cool Oscar Peterson albums on MPS - this one, In Tune, is the trio with singers - just love it. Next up will be Motions and Emotions with orchestral arrangements by Claus Ogerman. What's not to like.
-
Good news from DR GEORGE.

Thanks, ChasSmith! Yeah, a co-worker just today actually talked about how she had knee problems and if she'd still had her stick shift, she wouldn't have been able to drive it for three months! BUT someone else she knew had his left knee replaced and he couldn't drive his stick for SIX months!
-
So, that was another consideration for me getting the automatic.
-
Good news, George. Looking forward to the photos.
Thanks, again, John!

BK, have you heard the “Oscar with Love” CD? It is great. All of Oscar’s music performed by a slew of other musical giants. Kelly gave me a copy, and I love it.
