Well, you've read the notes, the notes sucked big fetid warts, and now it is time for you to post until the big fetid cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PREPONDERANCE!
-
Today, my friends Margo and Shelly and I are going to see Baby again. Well, it's again for me and Margo. Shelly wasn't able to go before, so we're all going today. Then after that, I'm working concessions for Harmony Sweepstakes (https://www.washingtoncenter.org/event/masterworks-harmony-sweepstakes-03-11-23/), hosted by Masterworks Choral Ensemble. It's an annual a cappella competition and it's usually really good. One of my favorite events each year. :)
-
Then on Sunday, I'm going to an event hosted by the Olympia chapter of PFLAG to celebrate PFLAG National's 50th birthday (http://pflag-olympia.org/events/)!
Featuring:
- Cake, ice cream (and maybe also some sensible food)
- Drag Queen Storytime with Bobbi Jo Blessings
- Special videos
- Stuff we haven‘t thought of yet !!!!!
That'll be fun! ;D
-
Notes perceived. Believed.
-
Oh fetid wart of a day, get thee behind us.

On the eve of a colossal vacation Mrs Rodzinski has planned for months, of course I’ve come down with a sickness. This is after quarantining, basically, for the last week, not even sending the Lil Rodzinskis to school. We did have the contractor and his crew here. And saw the mother in law once, who now says she has a cold, so who knows from whence it came. Luckily all seems mild at the moment.
-
BK’s pizza place just gonna raise price once a week and see if anyone notices.
-
The music of Jimmie Spheeris has soothed me since I discovered his LP, “Isle of View” in a dollar bin a couple years ago. Brother of Penelope Spheeris, he only had four albums before being killed by a drunk driver in Santa Monica. Singer-songwriter, but more of a mystical approach, unique chord progressions, a gentle soul. Mostly forgotten and never properly anthologized.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept rather well, and I feel much better than I did yesterday, which was a rather lousy day. To begin, the Amazon Fresh delivery left six bags of groceries in tjhe lobby for me to deal with rather than bring them up to my door. This is the second time this has happened, ad I was not amused.
-
I was able to get three bags into my walker's tote bag, and while I was on the phone raising a major complaint with Amazon, my wonderful neighbor Ann brought up the other three bags.
-
From that point on, I felt the day slipping downhill. I kept fretting that I was getting sick, which I do not need, and I accomplished very little. By 6:00, after I gave the cats their treat, I was ready to crawl into bed and stay there.
-
For the arrival of my first Indiana University payment, I treated myself to the complete DVD set of Law & Order, a series I loved. I'm on Season 1, and I watched two episodes before I went to bed.
-
DR George, if I send you my Into the Woods CD, will you work your magic on mine?
-
Good morning, all.
-
I hope today is a much better day for all of us.

It looks like Mary Trump's prediction about Ivanka Trump turning on Daddy and siblings just might be true:

We didn’t have to cancel, and the opening night went quite well. I’ve never played at this school before, and I’m enjoying it…even if we needed an additional rehearsal. There are certainly more extravagant productions, but the kids are good and the spirit is all there. They did a lobby makeover that I need to check out tonight and maybe grab a couple of pieces of photographic evidence.
-
We also lucked out with this current weather thing. The rain finally turned to snow, but it’s only a light covering on trees and ground, with almost nothing sticking to the asphalt. We won’t be so blessed on Tuesday, but I’ll take this gratefully.
-
DR George, if I send you my Into the Woods CD, will you work your magic on mine?
That end result is impressive. Do I see a new cottage industry for DR George?
-
Good morning, friends.
-
:P
-
Glad that you were able to proceed apace last night, DR ChasSmith.
-
Sorry you are feeling under the weather, DR Rodzinski.

~~~SICK ABEYANCE VIBES~~~ for DR elmore3003!!!!!!
Nice project, DR George. Martha (Stewart) would be proud of your glue gun skills.
-
Wasn’t there a documentary on Meredith Willson that a few of you were watching recently, or did I dream that? Where was it? Pardon me if I asked and it was answered before, which I’m betting is the case.
-
DR George, if I send you my Into the Woods CD, will you work your magic on mine?
Absolutely! I still have two trays left, so I'll have another test tray, just in case. :)
Wasn’t there a documentary on Meredith Willson that a few of you were watching recently, or did I dream that? Where was it? Pardon me if I asked and it was answered before, which I’m betting is the case.
ChasSmith, it's available to stream on PBS' website:
Too much housework this morning, but I did book Access-a-Ride for Monday's tax appointment.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Vibes for DR Rodzinski.
-
Saturday is the only day of the week I can wake up without an alarm goes off. I really enjoy that.
-
And I have suddenly started receiving castrecl emails in the last two days.
-
I wonder what happened.
Need to go out for bird food in a bit.
I’ve been getting the castrecl daily digests all along, but with only a couple of exceptions, they’ve thinned out to only a couple of messages per day. Often, it’s just one.
-
Health vibes for Mr. and Mrs. Rodzinski and the little Rodzinskiettes
-
Beautiful job on the CD case George!
-
Better day vibes for BK
-
Heck better day vibes for all of us
-
Beautiful job on the CD case George!
Thanks, Vixmom!
-
We spent the morning getting the remainder of the rogue cabinet off the wall
-
And after assessing the possibility of repairs Vixdad has decreed it must be replaced
-
He is currently checking sizes and which store might carry something that will fit in that space and will accept the doors from the old cabinet so it will still match the rest
-
It must be a religious experience for him
-
He appears to be speaking in tounges
-
:D
-
Sorry I forgot to say something about that. I was reading about it before I actually got up, and through the course of the morning I forgot.
What a scary thing. And how potentially disastrous, depending on...well, everything.
-
I'm up, I'm up - five hours of sleep.
-
Vibes for MR BK - of all kinds for all things.
-
Page Three.
-
Be well vibes for DR RODZINSKI and DR ELMORE.
-
I think DR GEORGE should quit his job and go into full time CD case enhancement.
-
DR VIXMOM - those kitchen cabinets can be pesky. Was this one trained or did you get it in the wild?
I have also heard of refrigerators running.....a few years ago I called several neighbors to discern if that was the case with theirs...
-
Good afternoon!
Vibes for DR Rodzinski and family!
Glad it wasn't more of a disaster, DR vixmom.
-
Much accomplished this morning, which I needed to do because, guess what? It's snowing, with more predicted today.
-
Waiting for gas at Costco.
-
Ate breakfast out.
-
Post office.
-
Picked up dry cleaning.
-
Grocery shopping? Check.
-
Liquor store? Check.
-
Guess which of these had the highest priority? 8)
-
Now putting away groceries.
-
The imbibing of the liquor will have to wait until a more appropriate hour.
It lived here before we did, but perhaps it had a sudden yearning to spread its wings, or doors, as it were.
-
I just had to hash it out with customer service (over the phone) about my grocery transaction. Surprisingly, the wait was short, the manager helpful, and the issue was resolved with a minimum of fuss. Color me surprised and pleased. This is not the norm these days.
-
Glad it wasn't more of a disaster, DR vixmom.
Thank you, we were definitely lucky because only boxes fell out, glass containers hung on for dear life
Checking for sun’s position in relationship to yardarm
-
;D
-
The sun is obscured by snow. Is that my excuse?
-
I am trying to figure out how to "cast" from my Android cellphone onto my smart TV. But I'm not technologically very savvy.
-
We were disappointed, but unsurprised to learn that the sizes carried in the stores are either 3 inches too small or too wide to perfectly replace the old unit
-
The size we need can be obtained online however
-
With the teeny tiny delivery fee of $79.00
-
American.
-
I bought a $10 ticket for a two-hour virtual tour of the Dark Shadows mansions, and I'd much rather prefer to watch it on my television.
Ah, a ray of sunshine…free delivery to the store
Remember that Sweeney revival that was dubbed "Teeny Todd"?
Ah, a ray of sunshine…free delivery to the store
The store is only a mile down the road
-
Have you ever toured Lyndhurst, DR vixmom? Or the Rockefeller mansion, Kykuit?
-
That IS a ray of sunshine, DR vixmom!
-
With all the bad luck you've had with the house over the past few years, you definitely deserve that - and a lot more.
-
On the way home we stopped at the bagel store
Just found out what the DH paid per bottle at the liquor store for a half case of very good wine.
-
He must be made of money.
-
I would not have splurged like that, myself.
-
At least, on wine.
-
Perhaps on books, scores, or recordings.
Which last a lot longer than a bottle of wine.
But ah, well.
$3.01 yesterday at BJ's.
It just keeps going up and down within a range of twenty cents or thereabouts.
DR John, the comments from your fellow usher last night were very interesting.
From DR Vixmom:
One of the wall cabinets had decided to make a break for freedom
(https://em-content.zobj.net/source/skype/289/astonished-face_1f632.png)
-
Vixmom:
By some miracle none of the glass jars broke
Wow, at least something good happened.
The UPS Store is having to replace the entire main entrance in the back because - a white Tesla drove into it and took out the door and front windows - I saw the video on one of their cell phones. The excuse? The driver got confused and thought the accelerator was the brake. This begs the question how did the moron driving ever attain a license and better yet how did they afford a ninety-thousand dollar car. I suspect they either were on the phone or had it on auto drive and couldn't stop it.
-
I accomplished much work on No. 7 today, a cowboy dance while the lecher-producer of the film attempts to seduce our leading lady. I still have the concluding dance music to score. but I'll do it tomorrow. Thatch came to help me for a while, then Stella moved in to add her thoughts.
Watching the Big Ten basketball games.
Do you root for IU or Purdue? Both? Neither?
-
I root for root vegetables.
-
And root beer.
-
Not necessarily in that order.
-
And not at the same time.
-
I really resent losing an hour of sleep tonight.
And I don't currently have any pets, but when I did, they did not understand the time change.
I can't remember, but I think DR Laura lives in a place where they don't bother with changing the clocks.
-
Thank you for your vibes, all. I think we are all sufficiently healthy for the journey. We will stay near the airport in Vancouver tonight for ease of waking early for a flight to LA, the land of BK. Then I’ll sail to Tahiti with an all-girl crew. Like in Fred Clark’s final film role. Except we’ll be flying, and I’m sure the crew will be a mix of boys and girls. Then a smaller plane, then a boat, and there we’ll begin our island adventure.
Root hog or die. As people somewhere used to say.
DR Rodzinski, are you listening to Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti as a prelude?
Just watched that Kurt Peterson thing. Very nice. But have some people here said the complete album was available to listen to - I mean, with all the missing stuff?
It was never officially released, so it's not really a "complete album," per se.
-
I have the MP3 files (I was able to...acquire them), and can send a link to anyone who wants to download and hear them.
-
Assuming these MP3s are actually the whole, complete concert, the evening was just under 3 hours and 10 minutes.
Hotel heating systems never please me.
New notes are up.
Up are new notes.
Think about how young Sondheim was at that time and how much seminal work he had already produced. Already being celebrated as a genius.
I've seen them.
I've read them.
I wrote them.
Listening to Alban Berg's crazy Three Orchestral Pieces - kind of suits my mood. Jagged. Weird.
The red onions are causing me grief.
-
I'd like the damn mp3 files.
I'll send the link now.
-
Apparently you can get a free trial on Fubi or Fubo or whatever it's called and then you can watch the Oscars.
-
I'll check that option.
BK, PM sent!
