Holy crap! Is it cold. I swear that our building had no heat at all yesterday. Usually, the building is so warm I keep the radiators barely running because the apartment to too hot. Not so today and yesterday.

I slept very snugly with all three cats last night. My grandmother's quilt is light in weight, but it sure keeps the cold out.

I would prefer to stay inside, but I must see Dr. Wong, who will look over the cataract surgery. After that, I will go to Staples and scan No. 7 for Doug.

Ladies and germs, The Weather Report.
As far as yesterday's nor'easter turned out, we got... more or less... A DUSTING.
This was to be the storm that could have dropped anywhere from 3-to-6 to 4-to-8 to 6-to-12 right here.
Nearby locations and higher elevations did indeed get six inches to a foot or more, but the local weather people said this storm should make history for being the hardest to forecast. Its makeup changed continually over the preceding couple of days, and even when it got here, there was no accuracy in predicting what areas would get how much snow, or any snow at all.
So we lucked out. Tremendously. It was a gift.

I will be talking to the four directors about their audition requirements and they will each be broadcast about two weeks before auditions are conducted.
I have four shirts and two jackets....and all my questions on cards.
The producer will be interviewing me about my auditions....coming up in July.

Dr Wong looked at my eye. She says the inflammation is going away, the eye is healing nicely, keep up the eyedropsm and the eye should clear up in about a week. I hope!

At our resort, some faction of the staff seems to be on strike. They parade past our patio in boats a couple times a day with megaphone chanting and sirens, and signs. I wish them well, but it’s odd. Finished Natalie Haynes’s latest, Stone Blind. I think it’s her best yet. She does feminist retellings of Greek myths. This one was a sympathetic look at Medusa. The humor was laugh-out-loud funny. Athena, for example, may be smart, but she has no social graces.

The good news is that they were able to re-set her leg in her pelvic cradle without surgery, so the recovery will be faster. Alas, she is not tracking well, even after the anesthesia has worn off. But that was slightly a problem before she fell.
