Well, you've read the notes, the notes had both funk and gunk, and now it is time for you to post until the funky cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: HALO!
-
I was just about to post this last night, but I thought to copy it first, so here it is:
Has a lively Target. A Dicks sporting goods. Little else. Many closed stores.
That was the first time (I think) I had ever heard of a "food court."
-
The food court is so sad now. My wife has memories of driving down from Vancouver as a kid to the magical Bellis Fair Mall.
We did use the parking lot as a meeting point to pick up our cars from the guy who trucked them across from Delaware.
-
Notes devoured. Gunked.
-
I think I still have my Umbrellas of Cherbourg Philips gatefold LP.
-
I'm now following both "haineshisway" and "samitheseries" on TicToc. Like Twitter and Instagram, I've never posted anything, only watched or "liked" vids.
-
Good morning, all!
-
DR Jeanne, I hope your trip to banking hell is soon over. I had a bit of that close-the-card-down-for-fraud nonsense last September. I think I had three payments over the month that I needed to call and protest and get the card unlocked. As suddenly as it began, it stopped.
-
I'm very flattered that Josh had City Center credit me for my assistance, but I feel all I did was look over the full scores and point out anything strange or unidiomatic that I discovered.
-
DR Rodzinski, I love The Madwoman of Chaillot, although I've never seen what I would call a good production. Around 1973 I saw a terrible one at Cincinnati's Playhouse in the Park, and I think it's not an easy play to do. There were no songs in your production? There are two in the published script, and I once had the music for them that Albert Hague wrote for the 1949(?) Broadway production with Martita Hunt as Countess Aurelia.
-
i slept okay last night. I've had better nights, and far worse ones as well.
-
This morning I will look over No. 8 and decide if I want to add or change anything. I would like to finish Nos. 9 & 10 by Monday. That will finish the first scene.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
:)
-
March 17!

-
Good morning, all.
-
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!

Kitty cleanup is finished. As soon as I make the bed, I will head to my worktable.

Let's celebrate my favorite Irish uptune from The Dubliners!

Nice tunes, DR elmore3003. Thanks for sharing.

TWO.
-
Excuse me. We're looking for our hen's teeth. Have you seen them?
-
Nobody is in the building today. Spring break and a cool morning has kept folks away.
-
I feel like singing There Ain’t Nobody Here But Us Chickens.
-
Irving would approve.
-
Green envelope vibes for MR BK.
Very interesting notes about Umbrellas and LPs and CDs.
-
DR singdaw those are nice cat disguises.
-
Faith and begorra - nice links from DR ELMORE.
Continued Indiana Ballet vibes!
-
Is Bora Bora near Pago Pago?
Pago Pago is actually Pango Pango - but early map makers were short on "n" letters.
If they had been short on "r" would DR RODZINSKI be in Boa Boa?
-
Today was shopping and banking.....but not DR JEANNE's bank where anything goes! And humans have no control over the web division.
I think maybe Hal 6000 is involved over there.
-
I stopped lastly at the White Castle and got a Ten Sack of cheese sliders which I think will last me today and tomorrow......and maybe part of Sunday.
-
HA! If DR RODZINSKI thinks talking for 30 minutes is something - he has forgotten hanging around with me.....I can do that standing on my head.
-
Quiet day at HHW.
More NCAA Basketball games today.
-
Break time!
-
DR Jrand, I am glad you communicated with MBarnum, and hope he manages to stop in.
-
DR Jeanne, it sounds like the woman from the fraud department never apologized ::)
-
From DR Rodzinsky:
I’ve yet to experience a Fred Meyer store.
I was surprised by how much my friend from Los Angeles was impressed with the store.
-
I think her reaction was a bit like ours the first time we shopped in a Pathmark.
-
It seems that once again I need to reload the notes every day to read them.
-
The nose knows what it knows.
-

We did use the parking lot as a meeting point to pick up our cars from the guy who trucked them across from Delaware.
That is pretty far to have to drive to pick up cars.
-
DR Rodzinski, does your wife still have friends close by?
-
I need to take a long walk, about 40 minutes each way.
-
Having woken up at 3:30 I just want to go back to bed.
-
The sun is shining and I should really go.
-
The walk will also get rid of what is left of my headache.
-

There is a touching scene in Viola Davis’s memoir where she talks about letting her father go.

Page two?!

Still?

Three!

What is this page three malarkey?
-
Hello, 0 guests!

TOD:
I will finish Bones and All. I have a silent film of Zola’s The Ladies Paradise to watch. It’s interesting that it’s not in period costume. It’s up to the minute, but that minute was 1930.
-
Nice tunes, DR elmore3003. Thanks for sharing.
Ditto and ditto!

Congrats on your mention in the article, DR elmore!
-
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Is funky gunk really all that different from gunky funk?
-
That's what I'd like to know.
-
That, and why we're still on page three.

Oh, my! International Criminal Court issues arrest warrant for Russian President Putin (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgg7RmyUHv0). (it's YouTube video)
The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for his alleged involvement in the unlawful deportation of children from Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine. Founder and Chairman of Renew Democracy Initiative Garry Kasparov shares his reaction.
-
I saw that. I wish them luck arresting him.
-
I had a nice surprise this morning.
-
Keith joined me on my long walk.
-
The errand I went on was a bust as the shop was out of the item I wanted.
-
The walk was still very pleasant.
-

I hate it when that happens! >:(

The walk was still very pleasant.
That's good! :)
-
I am sipping a Sparkling Ice (Kiwi Strawberry), listening to William Walton, and contemplating my weekend.
-
I'm glad you enjoyed your walk and the company DR JANE!

Thank you.

We are having a beautiful day.

I knew it might as they are often out of the chips I wanted.
-
When I suffer from motion sickness on flights eating Tim's lightly salted potato chips help. The coffee shop has the little bags that are just the right size, except they tend to be out of the plain chips.
-
I have the 2 oz size I can take with me. I might need to leave one bag at home. I like to have one bag for each direction we fly.
-
Had Taco Bell for food.
-
Ascertained that there's no green envelope. Will have to call the WGA on Monday if it hasn't arrived.
-
But the good news is we did have a modern major miracle that will be very helpful.
-
Lance Reddick passed away today. He was only 60.
-
I’m all about the environment. The environment and me are as one. What can I do to help, you know? Let’s make a better world.
That said, paper straws just don’t get the #%£!$&@ job done.

I don’t remember any songs, but the whole thing is a blighted blur in my memory.
-
HA! If DR RODZINSKI thinks talking for 30 minutes is something - he has forgotten hanging around with me.....I can do that standing on my head.
I would pay to see that too.

Bellingham is the nearest US metropolis to us. And having cars brought over the two borders to us was not feasible.

I thought Blaine was closer. While not a metropolis, I would have expected delivery could be made there.
-
I am guessing it would have not been worth the difference in cost to have the cars delivered there.
-
Blaine could’ve worked. We were still in Delaware trying to think of a good meeting spot and Bellis Fair was the public sort of place my wife could think of that seemed safest/easiest.
-
Makes sense. I was just curious.
-
We have used the car transports. For company moves they picked up and delivered at our house. On our own we had to meet them someplace, fortunately not too far from home.
-
we did have a modern major miracle that will be very helpful.
Huzzah!
-
Anyone going to tape or watch The Hours tonight?
-
Anyone going to get us to page five?
-
Anyone going to tape or watch The Hours tonight?
No.
-
We will watch the 5th episode of The Last of Us.
-
Anyone going to get us to page five?
Sorry, not now.
-
Watched a weird documentary.
-
Nodded off.
-
And we should NOT be on page four.
-
Not at all.
-
Coughing much less today.
-
That's good.
-
In praise of Major Miracles!
-
Page FIVE prance!
-
DR Rodzinski, does your wife still have friends close by?
Yes, her parents still live in the town and house she grew up in.
-
Yes, but have friends stayed in the area?
-
I walked seven miles today :)
-
'night
-
Coughing much less today.
Very good news.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Ushered for a sold-out showing of The Thorn, a retelling of the crucifixion.
-
It was overly loud, had some effective dancing with of Cirque-style sweeps up into the rafters. At times, it was very good, at others, it was much less do. But the crowd was rapt and well behaved.
-
I’ve been in the exit traffic line for 8 minutes now and we haven’t moved.
-
I’m starting Oprah’s latest book club choice, Hello Beautiful. It’s good so far.
-
I do not care for page five.
-
I just don't.
-
Oh, it's amusing on some level, like level two.
-
On the level, haven't we just had enough of page five.
-
And we're not even very far on page five.
-
Yes, but have friends stayed in the area?
Yes, several friends from gradeschool on.
-
We seem to have a lot of very errant and truant hainsies around these here parts.
-
I'm kind of hungry again - ate around two. But I have nothing in the house that's appealing, I'm not going out, and to order in is an automatic twenty bucks no matter what it is.
-
And I don't need to eat, frankly.
-
Five Alive!
(Forgotten fruit concentrate drink of my childhood)
-
Watched an entertaining movie, the last film our friend Larry Cohen directed back in 1996.
-
This page is longer than Ben-our.
-
This page is bugging me.
-
If I had a candy bar or gummy or something, I'd eat in the evening. If I had a hammer, on the other hand, I'd hammer in the morning.
-
There are a few people I'd like to hammer.
-
If only there were a sweet in the house.
-
Of anything even to munch on.
-
But there is not.
-
I do have Eggo frozen waffles but I haven't been enjoying them so that's not an option.
-
Page six has arrived.
-
I do not care for page six.
-
But enough of Five. Six sticks!
-
Already not caring for Six. Tough crowd.
-
Let’s give 6 a chance. Let’s give it a try.
-
Eggo Waffles always the last resort before a trip to the store.
-
DR JRand will know what I mean when I say LOL Boilers.

It’s March 18 in New York, New York now.
-
Not much left to report.
-
It’s gotten colder.
-
Good night, all.
-
And still, page six.
-
To which I say nix.
-
Let's play pick up stix
-
I have a set here.
-
I just do.
-
I was thinking about another movie, but I don't want to start one and not finish it.
-
It's nice to be feeling almost normal.
-
It just is.
-
Where's George? Playing on his phone? Down a rabbit hole? Playing Phase 14?
-
I, of course, am here.
-
The best place on all the Internet.
-
Nobody in the jernt but me.
-
Flying solo.
-
On my own.
-
Just the one of us.
-
Hopefully, that will change soon.
-
That's the hope.
-
The hope is that.
-
Page seven, at long last.
-
But the good news is we did have a modern major miracle that will be very helpful.
Great news, BK!
-
Lance Reddick passed away today. He was only 60.
Oh, no. :( I always liked him.
-
I’m all about the environment. The environment and me are as one. What can I do to help, you know? Let’s make a better world.
That said, paper straws just don’t get the #%£!$&@ job done.
Totally agree!!
-
George is here. Maybe we can get to page eight after all.
-
Maybe.
-
Just maybe.
-
Unless - he's already gone down a rabbit hole.
-
I on the other hand have not.
-
I just haven't.
-
I just won't.
-
Oh, he's already left the premises.
-
Well, what can you do.
-
Anyone going to tape or watch The Hours tonight?
Darn. I forgot to make sure that my DVR was set. I have "Great Performances" set to auto-record, but this is "Great Performances at the Met," which isn't the same series, as far as my DVR is concerned. :P
-
I was just searching the PBS website to see if it's streaming, and it isn't...yet.
-
Hopefully, it will eventually.
-
Also, it's only scheduled to be broadcast right now, but not at any other time.
-
DR Rodzinski, does your wife still have friends close by?
Yes, her parents still live in the town and house she grew up in.
Nice.
-
I walked seven miles today :)
Congrats, Jane!
-
Happy 96th birthday, John Kander.

Cool!
-
Where's George? Playing on his phone? Down a rabbit hole? Playing Phase 14?
We played three games tonight, and I won one of them. ;D
-
Gratuitous Post #202!!
-
Whew! My other DVR up in my bedroom recorded The Hours.
-
Maybe it'll show up on PBS' website after tonight.
-
Tomorrow, the family is going to my sister's for our quasi-weekly family dinner.
-
I did some shopping a few days ago and got the food that she wanted.
-
Back for the wrap up.
-
Page seven is still hanging on.
-
But not for long.
-
We'll be having sandwiches on ciabatta bread.
-
BUT NOT FOR LONG!
-
Page eight.
-
At long last.
-
Here we are.
-
Together again.
-
For the first time.
-
Just the two of us and no guests.
-
Together again.
For the first time.
A Young Frankenstein reference. ;)
-
And?
-
So?
-
Something.
-
Somewhere.
-
Somehow.
-
Must be said.
-
And don't call me Shirley.
-
I don't know.
-
One must keep the spirit alive.
-
And I'm trying.
-
But for now, let me just...
-
Say this...
-
May I have your attention please.
-
Attention must be paid. That will be $2.98.
-
I have an announcement to make.
-
I will make it loud and clear as well as clear and loud.
-
Here it comes.
-
No more waiting.
-
Without further delay or ado.
-
The time is nigh.
-
It's nigh time.
-
Drum roll.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
I shall read them, also. :)
