Well, you've read the notes, you've taken note of the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home, which will either be in the night or the day.
-
And the word of the day is: DELIRIOUS!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
I must be delirious to be posting at thius time at night... or the morning...
I seemed to have been struck down by a severe cold that is causing me to sleep constantly... bummer since it struck on a three day weekdn when I had plans to get lots of stuff done
-
I was just awoken by the storm we're having outside. The winds are so strong that all the windows are rattling.
Last night we had a thunderstorm with such loud claps of thunder that all the car alarms in the neighborhood were going off.
-
I guess I'lll try to catch up on all I missed.
-
All caught up!
Congrats to Tpunk on her ascension to the heavens and congrats to DakotaCelt on her rapid rise from newbie to full member!!
-
I wish I could be there to see Deceit bk!
When can I expect to see it off Broadway?!
-
Oh as to TOD...can't be anymore fun bunch than the HHW'ers I met after PennyO's show last April
-
5 AM... guess I'll try and get back to sleep
-
BK:
Yes the flowers were from me. Glad they arrived.
-
As for the TOD
I haven't had an opening night in years. But the last one was for a play (Survivors) I directed, designed and co-wrote. But it really was my actor that got all the kudos and that's the way it should have been. (It was a one man show) Everyone loved it and that was good enough for me.
-
Good morning, all! It's so good to see our DR Jason back and to know we'll see him (and possibly our DR FJL) tomorrow night! DRGinny, safe flight!
DR Jed, yes, you and our DR Ann should settle into your car for a long winter's drive and head east, young man! I'm not sure there's room for two on my fire escape, but DR MBarnum's guest bed at DR Rodzinski's might be available, once they clear off the muscle magazines. And if there's room in the trunk, bring along our DR TCB.
Too many NY theatre stories, but here's one: after the opening of Max Morath's show at the York Theatre, I went with Tom Jones and his lovely wife Janet to the opening party. We sat at a table with a lovely and vivacious woman who had me laughing with her stories and she and I gossiped terribly, offered Tom lots of unwanted advice on casting HAROLD AND MAUDE, and had a fantastic time together. When I asked Janet who her friend was, I learned she was Pamela Myers of "Another Hundred People." She raised her family in Cincinnati, and we had a lot of friends in common, which only increased the commotion.
Next time I'll tell about the randy vicar and the oscar.
-
LOL....Pamela Myers! I love her singing on COMPANY - and in the documentary after they listen to a take and she says: "That was the BEST?" LOL.....
-
Congratulations to DECEIT - all and sundry this matinee Sunday. It all sounds Delirious!!! DECEIT = DELIRIOUS - there's quote for you, an internet quote.
Miss Rose Marie was NOT mentioned, so I guess she didn't make it - but I imagined her distinctive laughter at the show....maybe she will come to see it today.
-
DRJOSE running around the Tidal Basin....I always think of it as the Fanne Foxe Hot Tub....and if you are old enough to remember THAT, you are my age.
AND just exactly how to you plan on STOPPING the auditions for A CHORUS LINE, DRJOSE? I suggest you walk into the theatre carrying a dog and yell: "SIng out, Louise!"
-
Hmmm...I ALWAYS go to the backstage door and gawk at the celebriteeeees! We live in Indiana, you know, and don't git much chance to see them big sturs, ceptin' when they show up hyer.
My favorites (we always go opening night) - and I have NEVER met anyone mean or rude - include:
Sally Struthers - who is beautiful and has lovely skin, she really looks like a porcelain doll....she was with her daughter and a bunch of other people. She talked to us and signed our programs and was very nice....she is tiny...well...she is short.
Marie Osmond was very nice, and invited everyone inside to wait for her while she changed her clothes after THE SOUND OF MUSIC. She let everyone take pictures and signed programs and chatted to everyone.
Donny Most was very funny.
Jane Powell was also very nice - although one of her two little dogs peed on my leg while she was signing my program....she was most apologetic, but there you are! I liked the show anyway. Another TINY little woman.
Met a few others - but these are the ones that stick out in my mind.
-
I just listening to There's No Business Like Show Business from the the Bernadette Peters revival. This is the first time I heard it.
Two things:
1) Who wrote the new lyrics?
2) And this has to be the worst orchestrations/arrangements I heard since the Doris Say/Robert Goulet studio recording which I listen to once and never did again. What a travesty!
-
Donny Most was very funny.
DR JRand55, great stories! I scored "Strike Up the Band" around 1988 for California Music Theatre and this dreadful director Gary Davis (?). Donny played the villain, and he was a genuinely kind and sweet person. Tom Bosely, who played Fletcher, the reason for the war, was the total opposite.
-
DR SWW - i hope Fletcher's recovery is going okay....poor doggie.
-
Hurray - DRJASON is back!
-

Thanks, DRELMORE. Donny played Vince Fontaine in GREASE - and Sally was Miss Lynch. Before the curtain, Donny came out a "spun" a few records for a dance contest for the audience. When we talked to him one of the things he asked was where he could find a golf course! LOL... Too bad about Mr Bosley...oh well.

Re: this week's IN JUSTICE (for DRs George and MattH especially).
SPOILERS.
I don't think I enjoyed this week's show as much. I think that the sister will probably stay on and be part of the cases though. Her chemistry with the lead guy was evident.
I'm not sure (major spoiler here) .... if the jailed guy lying made me dislike him. But I think it did (and made me not want to root for him). Whereas last week I was in tears, this week I did not find myself caring as much (when he was released at the end).
The resolution was fast and ended up going in a direction that we had not seen too much evidence of happening. DR MattH I think since you missed the last 10 minutes, you probably never even saw the guilty party. It was quite bizarre actually. I mean they were gonna give up on the case. And then the brunette girl offered to help the sister (the innocent jailed brother admitted he lied and that the dead woman had gotten a call before she died and kicked him out of the car).
So they went to the place the call had taken place, it was a drug place. That led them to finding out that the dead woman was involved in drugs. And they found the guy, questioned him and the brother was let go. Really not interesting.
DR MattH have you ever seen the show CLOSE TO HOME. IT has a similar format to many of the shows you seem to like (except here it's the DA and prosecutors who are doing the investigating). It has a very woman oriented slant (the 2 prosecutors are women).

Off to get ready for a day at The World of Wisdom.
We must live harmoniously with our neighbors. - The Dalai Lama
-
Elmore - Didn't Pamela Myers end up playing Maude in HAROLD AND MAUDE in the Palo Alto prodcution in summer 2005?
-
Elmore - One of my favorite meeting-celeb incidents of the past year is that I got to meet Tom Jones after a show, and he's such a delightful person as well as a great talent. It by total coincidence just happened to be on my 45th birthday, and since I was born the day before THE FANTASTICKS opened, I knew to congratulate him on the next day being the 45th anniversaruy of the opening of THE FANTASTICKS. He told stories of how another show had been the critic's darling at the time THE FANTASTICKS opened, and such stuff. Really a joy to meet him.
-
Yes - Pamela Myers played Maude in the TheatreWorks production in Palo Alto this last summer. In fact, we shared the same building as I was rehearsing "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" in the rehearsal hall and she was performing "Harold and Maude" in the theatre. Alas, our paths didn't cross.
However, one of my actors in "I Love You, You're Perffect, Now Change" played Peppermint Patty for me in "Snoopy!!!" when she was in 7th grade, and I thought it was cool that we had two Lucy's in the building at the same time!! And alas, their paths nevercrossed, either.
BK - I'm going to miss the stories about the play while you are off these next couple of days. Have a great matinee.
-
Just got off the phone with Ron Raines who was telling me about Patricia Neal's 80th birthday party last night. Among the guests were Patrice Munsel, Amanda Plummer whom I love, and her mother Tammy Grimes. We settled on a key for an orchestration and now I'm off to work on THE GOLDEN APPLE for a bit.
-
Good Morning!
Well, I slept in... Which I expected I would do, so... 'nuff about that.
However, it was very nice to start the day by getting on the scale and seeing some more "progress"! :-)
-And this was even after eating almost two pounds of See's Chocolates this past week! I still have the "brick" of Victorian Toffee to break into - literally - and I believe I shall bring that it to the theatre this afternoon.
Hmm... The See's Chocolate Diet. Sounds good to me!
;D
-
I rarely go backstage to meet celebrities...only people I know in the show. Those who've come backstage to meet cast members of shows I've been in have always been interesting. Anthony Hopkins came backstage during Crucifer of Blood to see Ian Abercrombie, he brought the cast some Guinness. Also Susannah York came back and I've always loved her. Nanette Fabray came backstage once when I was doing a dinner theatre show with Nancy Culp...she stopped by my dressing room specifically to tell me how good I was and how amazing it was that I had just gone into the show that night on one day's rehearsal...replacing an actor. I also met Jose Ferrer who came to one of our University productions of The Night That Thoreau Spent In Jail.
But probably the biggest thrill for me was when Bob Shreve, a local TV personality in Cincinnati, came to see a production of Duchess of Malfi of all things (or was it Marat/Sade?) because he was friends with the parents of one of the girls in the show. I grew up with Shreve as a fixture on Cincy TV. He did Popeye cartoons, The Three Stooges, and my favourite which I watch all through high school and college...The All-Night Movies on Saturday Night. It was brought to you by Shoenling Beer and Bob was the host. The movies were generally terrible...often grade C horror programmers. But Bob Shreve was hysterical during the extended commercial breaks and he had all kinds of schtick he used to do and he had a cast of props and characters that used to have us in stitches. One was a simple rubber chicken. He'd hold it up and say, "Here's Chicky. Would you like to see Chicky a little longer." At which point, he'd stretch the chicken out. Stupid stuff like that all the time. A Cincinnati TV icon.
-
Hmmm...The See's Chocolate diet. Like the old seafood diet - I see food, I eat it. :)
-
Topic of the Day...
-Meeting Richard Sherman at the opening party of What If? last summer.
-Dishing with Larry Blank - who has another interview up on another website - and Christine Baranski after a performance of Sweeney Todd at the Kennedy Center.
-And, actually, a lot of those post-show gatherings at the Watergate Brasserie were usually quite "informative" and "colorful". -I'm still amazed we didn't get kicked out after some company members did body shots on the bar. ;)
And... Well, I'm still waking up, and I need to hop in the shower and take care of some other stuff before heading in for the matinee... And I have to remember to stop for gas on the way in too... And... And...
Laters...
-
Good morning!
Beautiful day here and should be a bit warmer than yesterday with temps in the mid-50s. It was VERY cold still when I went out this morning to the ATM and grocery store.
-
I really enjoyed meeting and talking with Tony Kushner at the opening night party when Charlotte Rep premiered ANGELS IN AMERICA here about 10 years ago. Because of the controversy surrounding the show which led to the Arts & Science Council in the city removing the Rep from its list of grantees, Tony came down to lend his support for the fund raising that was going on to keep the Rep in the black. Worked great only to go down in flames with bad leadership a few years later.
-
Thanks to DRs George and Jennifer for information about the end of this week's IN JUSTICE. Yes, that guilty party did seem to come out of the blue.
-
Really looking forward to the two hour season premiere of '24' tonight which means the poor DVR will be on overtime recording DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, COLD CASE, and L&O:CI during the same two hour time period.
-
No, Jennifer, I have never watched CLOSE TO HOME. Its original time period was Tuesday at 10 when I was already watching several other shows (including RESCUE ME and now THE SHIELD on F/X, QUEER EYE on Bravo, and SVU on NBC and even occasionally BOSTON LOGAL on ABC).
Even though it's moved now, I just haven't gotten in the habit of watching. I'm glad it's doing well in its new time period, and it looks like it and GHOST WHISPERER make a very compatible two hour Friday night block for CBS. But I think I watch enough procedurals for the moment.
-
Hmm... The See's Chocolate Diet. Sounds good to me!
;D
It works for me all the time.
-
I still have Wednesday night's CSI: NY to watch from the DVR and I'll probably go back and rewatch one or two of the long programs from last night's skating: Kimmie Meisner's and Sasha Cohen's more than likely.
Then, on to a DVD before this long battery of TV shows this evening.
-
Jason welcome back. I’m sorry I just missed you.
Elmore-LOL we were only 20 minutes sorry, at which time we turned BROTHERS GRIMM off. The advantages of a DVD.
Rodzinsky how can something with beer in it taste like a milkshake!
-
Time to start prepping lunch.
WBBL.
-
It is beautiful here this morning having snowed during the night. Now if it will only melt off the driveway before we have to shovel. Thank goodness our driveway was repaired on Wednesday or it might have collapsed with the rain and snow we have been having.
-
Bruce congratulations on last night’s show and may today’s matinee be just as wonderful.
-
Well, the new GOLDEN APPLE vocal score is finally corrected, up-to-date, and ready for the printer. The new vocal-choral book needs a teensy bit of work and it, too, will be fine. On Tuesday, I'll go to Tams-Witmark and make fixes in the masters of the orchestra parts, and I can consider this turkey frozen. Now I have to win ther lottery to pay for a complete recording of this amazing show.
Shortly I leave to meet DR TPunk, whom I'm taking for her birthday to the movies. I come back for an hour and head out for a date with my goddaughter. Such a day!
-
I'm up, I'm up. Well, the LA weathermen have done it again - one of the biggest storms turned out to be rain for an hour yesterday. Today, the sun is shining, the skies are blue, and the storm was a figment of their collective imaginations.
-
When I was doing Forget-Me-Not Lane at the Taper, we always had incredible people backstage - I met Groucho, Steve Allen and Jayne Meadows, Christopher Isherwood and Don Bachardy, Elsa Lanchester (the latter three people I saw many times over the next year, as I brunched regularly at Elsa's beach house, which was next door to the Isherwood/Bachardy house), Ray Bradbury, Julie Harris, and many, many others.
I loved meeting Rosemary Harris when I went backstage to see Crista Moore - I almost convinced her to sing Send In The Clowns on the Sondheim album. Marian Seldes was a treat, too.

I always get a kick out of the weathermen in ND... They claim for days and days about a huge storm and we get snow flurries.....
BTW: Continued broken leg vibes to you and the cast for today's premiere!!
-
One of the most entertaining after-show party was one that my alma mater had after they premiered the musical Grease....
It was a hoot watching one of the US Senators from MN and the mayor of Moorhead doing the Shag to a 50s tune in a three-piece suit.
-
Thanks to Elmore, I enjoyed meeting the luminous Rebecca Luker after DARLING OF THE DAY.
TPunk is on her way, Elmore, and now I shall go into a Colts football trance.
-
Jason welcome back. I’m sorry I just missed you.
Elmore-LOL we were only 20 minutes sorry, at which time we turned BROTHERS GRIMM off. The advantages of a DVD.
Rodzinsky how can something with beer in it taste like a milkshake!
Jane, I was wondering the same thing what what Rodzinski said.
-
It works for me all the time.
DR Jane, any diet that has chocolate is good!! Chocolate is a food group!
-
Sunday greetings! Today is full of packing and other NYC preparations. Here's a flash:
Last night I cancelled the hotel reservations I had made months ago...
...but only after DH Richard had made a new one at a much lower rate for the same accommodations, same number of nights, same hotel. Go figure. What that tells me is to keep checking online until the last possible moment.
-
And the word of the day is: DELIRIOUS!
Delirious been replaced by de Euro.
-
Fletcher sends his thanks to all for the vibes. His ear looks much better than it did this time yesterday - the vet did a marvelous job of stitching it back together. Right now, he's sleeping on an old bean-bag chair right behind where I'm sitting, one of his favorite places
-
Might I just ask where in tarnation IS everyone?
-
I'm here, taking a break from cleaning, cooking and watching a repeat on ESPN of the Ladies' Figure Skating short program competition.
Now Cooking: In my crockpot is a chicken-and-garlic stew.
In my pressure cooker is a pork loin roast which I am going to pull apart for BBQ purposes.
In my washing machine: Sheets.
It's a glorious day here in the Bay Area...crisp and fresh...makes one glad to be alive!!!
-
Might I just ask where in tarnation IS everyone?
Been busy working on some genealogy research for a freind whose sight is impaired....
I may have to call for Francois's help. I am having trouble with a word and after I translated it does not make sense but when I go with a different tense it does. It is a letter a person got from relatives back in the 1880s from the Breton region.

Sounds good Ron!
I just pulled out some chicken breasts to thaw for supper. I have a recipe I want to try called Apricot Chicken breasts.

I shall now be on my way to the theater. Pray for Rosemary's Baby.
-
Hey, didn't Rosemary's Baby take place in the Dakota?
-
I did some checking on the news you gave us about Dr. Who, DR DakotaCelt. The Doctor is indeed coming to America. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/scifi.shtml)
I've been a fan of the series off and on since discovering the Third Doctor on PBS. Der Brucer and I saw Sixth Doctor Colin Baker in a mystery play during one of our trips to London, the title of which escapes me just now.
Of course, since the first series of the new production is also scheduled to be released on area 1 DVD sometime soon, it could be a race whether it plays first on Sci-Fi or a television near you!
-
Back from my movie with DR TPunk. We saw TRANSAMERICA, my second time, her first. I liked the film even better this time. Felicity Huffman is amazing, but the whole cast is excellent.
Now, an hour breather and THE PRODUCERS with Charlotte.
-
Marian Seldes was a guest star on THE BOOK OF DANIEL the other night. I was grand seeing her play the mother with ice in her veins. Truly creepy and did it all with the sweetest smile on her face.
-
I think the Oscar contest this year will be between Felicity Huffman for TRANSAMERICA and Reese Witherspoon for WALK THE LINE.
-
Spent the afternoon watching crime procedurals on DVD and clearing off the DVR. Watched three episodes of CSI: MIAMI on DVD including the 90 minute tsunami episode which I recalled as I watched it that I only saw the last hour when it was telecast. I'm not sure it's been repeated ever, but if it had, I missed those episodes, too. The entire first part was all new to me. (The delectable Brian Bloom was a guest star on this episode.)
-
I watched CSI: NY which featured a death by swordfish. Interesting episode and surprise murderer. Two other cases were also featured on the show, and they ended up being the same investigation once the evidence started piling up.
-
Rewatched the figure skating from last night, at least some of it. I skimmed through many of the routines like Allisa Czisny's which were so problematic. Meissner and Cohen did have the best routines of the night. I should have saved the men's competition from the afternoon because those are the ones I wouldn't mind seeing again. I'll have to keep my eye on ESPN2's schedule during this next week to see if they replay the finals.
-
Just back from my date! As he mentioned, Elmore treated me to Transamerica, and it truly is a great film. I don't want to say anything much about it for fear of giving away any of the plot, but I think that anyone should be able to relate to this film. I highly recommend seeing it if you haven't already.
-
I returned home to find Rodzinski in a sorrowful state.
-
I returned home to find Rodzinski in a sorrowful state.
His Colts must have lost. I'm sorry for his disappointment.
-
A sorrowful state? I thought he was there with you in New York!
::)
-
Well I have packed the first 20 boxes and you can't even tell I've done anything! Well, the boxes sitting around the room indicate otherwise, but that's ok. I stll have a month to go. If I can just pack or sort a little everyday and more than that on weekends I'll get it done without much stress and without missing out on the fun things I like to do
-
It's so nice out today I have a couple windows open. Callie and Nilla are thrilled and they are perched in their favorite window bathing each other and enjoying the fresh air.
-
I'm afraid Nilla's strange feline tooth disease may be back and the bad part is it's one of his front fangs (do you call them fangs on a house cat?) since I'm off tomorrow I'm going to see if we can get into the vet. He's already had 9 teeth pulled, I really hate to have him lose any more. I'd have to call him the toothless wonder
-
I guess I'll head down now to get the guest bathroom cleaned and then on to a night of frenzied TV watching.
-
I should say Paul is trying to finish up on a mural he is doing for a local high school, but he promised that starting in February he will help me pack. That's actually fabulous. I'll need his help for that last minute crunch before the movers come.
I'm getting an estimate from the moving company tomorrow. Hopefully, the weather will be nice on February 10....this is a totally insane time to move in Iowa, but I did get a good deal on the house and the repair people and moving company are more than happy to have my business now.
-
I was going to go see a movie tonight, but I think I better stay home. I stll haven't seen the netflix I got before Christmas, so I may watch Cinderella Man and Polar Express....next stop.....BOLLYWOOD!!!!
-

I actually got to meet Tom Baker at a convention in Chicago...
The local public telly station gets a lot of British programs. Loved DW.
Loved Tom Baker and Peter DAvison. I have seen a couple of eppies of the new series via my cousin who lives in Edmonton, AB and I really like the actor, Chris Eccleston who played the doc.
I was not a big fan of Colin Baker's doc.

I enjoyed Polar express.... Sweet movie

No I'm just moving into a new house.
-
Elmoore, I've been meaning to ask you forever: do you use notation software and, if so, which? I've used all 3 biggies, but only have Encore (yes, I'm a luddite) at home. I can get Finale pretty much for free, but am still debating between it and Sibelius. I'm asked to so many charts now where they want it in Finale, so I guess that's the obvious choice. (Luckily, Finale will import Encore files, so so far I've been able to finesse everything with pickier clients).
-
I liked THE POLAR EXPRESS very much myself, and I should think many young kids would find it a great adventure.
I gave a copy of the DVD to my friend John who has two kids aged 8 and 6. They loved it and also loved CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, too.
-
'24' starts in less than an hour, and I am SO looking forward to it. I thought last season was the best of its four year run, and critics who have seen the four hours already that we're going to see tonight and tomorrow night have been saying many great things about it.
-
Bruce and Penny, Maureen (sister of Ron) Baum’ daughter Nikki will be on COLD CASE tonight. I have no idea the extent of her role except that she says "it's a secret, but we're dead".
-
DokotaCelt chocolate is definitely a food group.
Do you normally do genealogy research? Thanks to Keith’s research I have new family members I email with. In fact I’m about to write my Cousin Jane who lives in England.
-
Good Evening!
Greetings from the Green Room...
And since we got the 15 minute call about 5 minutes ago...
-
DR Jane - The Victorian Toffee was a hit! It was gone in less that five minutes. -I did sneak a piece for myself... YUMMY!!!
-
OH!!!
DR Jane - After a call to See's, I found out that they indeed do make the California Brittle in a "Dark" variation now. It's piece #75. Alas, it's not shown on their online catalog listing, but it is in their catalog - which I also placed an order for - well, I had to update my address.
;)
-
Well... About to get the Five Minute call... and then the show... and the trek up to NYC...
Laters...
-
BK - I hope you had a wonderful matinee, and even though you do have meetings and such over the next couple of days, enjoy your "rest".
:)
-
YEAH! And that got us to Page 4!!
-
In fact I’m about to write my Cousin Jane who lives in England.
If she's a Lady and her last name is Grey....hurry. ;D
-
SWW, I’m so glad Fletcher is happy again.
I will be watching for Dr Who on the Sci-Fi channel. Thanks.
-

I wonder if I tried it and put it out of my mind or it is new and I didn't notice.
HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU EAT MORE CANDY! ;D I must know everything you ordered so I can eat vicariously. :D

Yes. I have been working on my Dad's side for awhile... My dad's side is quite the challenged they are very intermarried. They are all Reichsduetsch (From the homeland). Germans from Russia are another large group of Germans in ND. My IRish line I will never be able to trace. My ancestor in that case came west on the Orphan Trains. I have bit more success with my Scots-IRish ancestors.
I find it interesting researching it.
Major discussion on the Connotator today about Bruce's column. The debate is who was there from days. WE heartily agree with Bruce's assessment of Matt. He is a superb actor.
Our suspicions of who was there from Days would be Melissa Reeves, James Reynolds, and possibly Billy Warlock...
-
Cillaliz good packing vibes! I hate to pack.
Might Nilla have a gum disease? How is his weight?
-
JMK we are both descended from a Lord which would make us Lady Jane’s, thankfully not Lady Jane Grey.
There are so many good movies out right now. Today we opted for BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.

I watn to see that one also....
Interesting. ... Through my mothers side, I am distantly related to Martha Graham, the famed choreographer...

MONARCH OF THE GLEN takes place in Scotland.
Did you ever meet Martha Graham?
-
DakotaCelt having a relative that was on the Orphan Train is very interesting. Who was that? Do you have copies of the official records?

I want to see Monarch.... Local blockbuster does not have it.
No I have not met her.

The earliest official records we have on my 3x-great grandfather is hsi Civil War REcords and he entered the war illegally at the age of 16. He was a drummer boy for the 12th Wisconsin. WE do not know if he was born in the United States or Ireland. His name was Edward Galegher. We cannot find much on him.

We see the show on one of our stations but you really want to watch from the beginning.
-
Intriguing. I would already like to know more about him. :)
-
Keith did a quick search for a friend of ours and traced him to the Mayflower. His wife complained Keith was ignoring her so he also traced her family…..back to the Mayflower and discovered our friends are related. They each have a daughter from a previous marriage and the girls were delighted.

Off to get ready for a day at The World of Wisdom.
We must live harmoniously with our neighbors. - The Dalai Lama
We must have harmonious sex with all of our neighbors. - Fernando Lama
-
Keith wants to know what resources you use—i.e. census, websites, war records, etc.
-
Hi TCB. ;D
-
Jennifer I have an IN JUSTICE question. The sister from the last show you say is new…..We thought she was a regular on the episode we watched two weeks ago. So…?
-
I just finished watching The Cheap Detective with Fernando Lama(s). Believe it or not, it was a Portuguese assignment (I'm taking lessons), because my teacher found it on DVD with Portuguese subtitles and thought it would be instructive to read along as I listened in English. Some of the very American Simon humor does not translate to Portuguese, that's what I learned. :)
-
I'm afraid Nilla's strange feline tooth disease may be back and the bad part is it's one of his front fangs (do you call them fangs on a house cat?)
I still call them fangs on my ex-wife.
-
JMK any particular reason you want to learn Portuguese?
-
Hi, Jane!
I just caught up.

:D :D :D :D :D
-
It seems Jennifer left before catching up.

Hello Keith and Jane!!!
The info i have on Edward Galegher is that he was born 2 Feb 1850 in NYC (we think) and died in 1931 in North Dakota.
HE was a private and marched with Sherman in the March through Georgia.
He was sent to Wisconsin in 1859. He was injured in the war and was also ill.
He health problems after that....
I hvae used census, death records, plat/land, homesteading, probate and have a very strange letter and I think it may be missing a page or two

Vixdad, bing raised in England, has been Dr Who fan his whole life. We have seen the first few shows of the new Dr Who series courtesy of a friend and we enjoyed in greatly.
Since the local PBS stations haven't shown it in a number of years this was the first time the Vixter had the pleasure of meeting the Dr and she was enthralled.
About 15 years ago Vixdad and I met Sylvester McCoy. ( I forget which Dr he was) He was very funny and a real gentleman.
-
My avatar, along with DakotaCelt's, has disappeared. Can anyone else see them?
-
They returned with my post-very strange.

T.O.D.
Well, if I hadn't gotten food posioning a few months ago I could be telling the story (for the 100 time) of my meeting backstage with the WSMA, Brett Barrett. Unfortunately......
So, intsead I guess I would have to say that the nicest people I have ever met backstage would have to be Cathy Rigby, Sandy Duncan, and Mark-Linn Baker. Hmm, two Peter Pans and a Perfect Stranger!

I met him and Paul McGann. My cousin and I stumbled onto the movie set when they were filming the Dr. Who movie in Vancouver.

Safe travels to DR Jose!
DH Richard and I are as ready as can be the night before leaving on a trip. Our pre-Barrymore's plans for tomorrow are:
-Drive to Cincinnati airport (which is in Kentucky)
-Fly to LaGuardia
-Taxi to Manhattan
-Check into hotel
-Go to Times Square Visitor Center to purchase 7-day Metro passes
-Go to Times Square Hershey store looking for Hershey Extra Dark Chocolate with almonds, blueberries, and cranberries and a hat to replace the one I bought Richard there last fall (he may or may not want to tell you what happened to that one)
-
Ginny have a great time in NY and a romantic anniversary.
Thank you, Jane and DakotaCelt!
-
Have a wonderful time, Ginny. I am jealous!
-
Are you staying at The Comfort Inn?
-
Whew! It is now safe for BK to come home. We have surpassed the all-time low.
-
Are you staying at The Comfort Inn?
Yes, we are and I'll let you know how it is for 2 people to stay in one of those tiny rooms!
-
Have a wonderful time, Ginny. I am jealous!
Thanks, TCB - someday I'll get DH Richard out to see your part of the country!
-
Elmoore, I've been meaning to ask you forever: do you use notation software and, if so, which? I've used all 3 biggies, but only have Encore (yes, I'm a luddite) at home. I can get Finale pretty much for free, but am still debating between it and Sibelius. I'm asked to so many charts now where they want it in Finale, so I guess that's the obvious choice. (Luckily, Finale will import Encore files, so so far I've been able to finesse everything with pickier clients).
DR JMK, I'm computer illiterate so far as music programs go. The project I'm on and most Broadway copyists use Finale. Michael Tilson Thomas uses, I believe, Sibelius. The Bernstein office, when I was working with them on 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE around 1992, used an IBM program.
Chelsea Music, the music prep for the recording I'm doing the chart for Kelli O'Hara, will copy my chart using Finale.
-
Safe travel Vibes to Ginny Richard and Jose!
-
It is quite cold and icy in NY at the moment so make sure you have your hats, gloves and scarves!
We had been hav ing such lovely unseasonably warm weather as well and then last night it all changed.
-
DakotaCelt I sent you a PM (private message).
-
Shortly after I returned to bed (at 5 Am this morning) the wind got very strong and we heard this strange metalic screeching noise outside
Vixdad decided to get dressed , go out and investigate. He discovered that a third of the aluminum siding on the rear of the house had been ripped off ... and the wind was trying tot take the rest of it as well. So at 5:30 in the morning, with 70 MPH winds blowing icy snow in his eyes, and trying to hiold a flashlight ( as it was still dark out) Vixdad valiently hammered siding back on the house.
I stayed warm in bed. I love being a girl.
-
Thanks, TCB - someday I'll get DH Richard out to see your part of the country!
I hope so, Ginny. George, Jed, Ann, and I (and possibly PennyO) would love to show you around.
-
Yes, we are and I'll let you know how it is for 2 people to stay in one of those tiny rooms!
LOL I already know. Remember I borrowed elmore's air mattress and slept on the floor while my friend had the bed for three nights. At least you get to share the bed, not that it is very large.
-
Jane, I'm learning Portuguese so that I can sing more authentically when I do Brasilian material. Betsy gave me lessons with a Brasiliera for Channukah. It's amazing how much I have absorbed by osmosis listening to so much Brasilian material since I was very young--my teacher has been amazed, which has been kind of fun.
-

What did you do with Bernstein/Lerner's 1600 Penn Ave and were you involved with the recording?
-
I hope so, Ginny. George, Jed, Ann, and I (and possibly PennyO) would love to show you around.
We could all meet in Portland to see MBarnum and JMK.
-
JMK that is a very good reason. I have no idea what a Brasiliera is-time to Google.
-
Whew, all caught up! Lots of posts!
-
JMK, when will you be singing in Portuguese? I would like to hear that!
Maybe you can duet with Astrud Gilberto! I wonder if she still does any shows or concerts?
-
Jane,
I haven't tried to do any geneology searches. My family are all relative newcomers to this land, I don't think we had anyone here before 1905, and that was my grandfather who came from Aberdeen as a two year old. My fathers' parents met in NYC but came they came here respectively from Hungary and Czechoslovakia in the late 1920's. My mother's mom is the only one who was born here... in 1910, I believe... I am not sure where her parents came from. I should look into it. Any suggestions for how to start?
-
DakotaCelt do you have Edward’s 1860 & 1880 census?
Hi MBarnum. Are you keeping warm?
-
What did you do with Bernstein/Lerner's 1600 Penn Ave and were you involved with the recording?
I was doing some prep work for an Indiana University production that went to the Kennedy Center, and there was some hope in getting Michael Tilson Thomas interested in recording the piece. The recording happened several years later.
-
Had a busy few days! All good stuff, however. A group of us took my buddy Mark out to dinner at a swank restaurant in Portland, just outside of Lake Oswego. Don't remember the name of the establishment but it was in a very 1950s vintage area of SE Portland, on Milwaukee.
The cheapest entree was 26 dollars! A simple salad was $10 and a cocktail was $9.
Yikes!
-
Hi MBarnum! How goes the furnace search? How are you keeping your pipes from freezing?
( Oh I hope that's not too personal a question!) :-X
-

Yikes!
Sounds like the prices of a TGIF in NYC!
-
Tomorrow the floor guy returns to finish refinishing the hardwood floor so chances are I won’t be around much the next couple of days. I will let Keith deal with the smell and the toxins.
-
After dinner we all went downtown and had a few drinks and played some pool at a "special interest" establishment. I bailed out at 9:30pm and headed back to Mark and James' house in West Linn where I spent the night because today I had to drive to Sherwood to take little Taylor to the movies and it just didn't make sense to drive all the way back to Salem and then back up north again in the morning.
Unfortunately Mark and James had quite a tiff and so things were uncomfortable in the morning as we drank coffee :(
So I scaddaddled as soon as possible! LOL!
-
Jane, a Brasileira is a woman from Brasil (Brasileiro is a man from Brasil).
MBarnum, yes, Astrud does indeed still do concerts. I knew her late pianist Kimson Plaut quite well through the Brasil Usenet group. He died very young and very unexpectedly a few years ago and is sorely missed.
-
Taylor and I went to see HOODWINKED. What a fun movie! I wasn't sure if it would be any good but I laughed my head off! It did a fine job of spoofing the old film noir and detective shows along with making fun of that matrix style of fighting and many other things. Good film for kids and still lots of fun for adults!
It is the story of LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD done RASHOMAN style. Very clever.
-
I wonder when we will get the matinee report.....
-
Wow, JMK, I would love, love, love (that is 3 loves) to see Astrud in concert! Maybe I will check out her website and suggest she should tour the Pacific Northwest...maybe have Yma Sumac open for her! LOL!
-
Yes, I always try to keep my pipes warm and safe from the cold! LOL!

From the commercials I thought it was an "adults only" movie a la South Park. Thanks for the correction, I shall have to oput it on oyur family viewing list if we ever get a chance to go to the movies.. The past few weekends we have been stuck inside while the Vixter works on term projects. This weekend has likewise been kidnapped.
-
I am now caught up! We are back from the Isle of Long and the Reach of Center. We had a delightful and restful time and woke up to snow, snow, snow. It seems to hit the Island harder than the city. There is a LOT of snow in Centereach. When we got out of the subway at 18th Street to walk back to the apartment there was very little snow in our parts.
We ate lots of good food, gave out our small souvenirs to Anthony's parents and we didn't watch anything. We showed pictures of our trip. I will try to post more this week but I begin Jury Duty on Tuesday and I don't know how long I'll be downtown.
Before dinner tomorrow Anthony and I are seeing a friend's show. I think I mentioned it on Friday before I left. We will be sleeping late and then heading to the theatre at 47th Street and Eighth Avenue. We will need to kill some time after the show since we will be out around 4 or 4:30 and dinner is not for another two hours. If it's as cold as it is today perhaps the answer is to go home for a while. We shall see.
Another theatrical landmark bar is closing. McHales, on the northeast corner of 46th Street will be closing some time this week according to Playbill On-Line. That block will undergo the same kind of overbuilding that will hit 45th Street, causing the closure of Barrymore's, Sam's, Puelo's, Puelo's Two, JR's, Frankie and Johnny's Steakhouse and other comfort locations. When will the developers learn that there are already enough tall buildings in the Times Square area?
I'm tired and I wanna go to bed. See some of you tomorrow! I'm very excited about that get together.
-
Elmoore, re: handwriting charts. I've told this story before (what else is new? ::)), but it still kind of makes me laugh.
I was in a group of composers that had gotten a grant to write scores as part of an opera series, where we'd pair up with a different librettist, be given our subject, and then have to have a completed score (I mean written, notated and ready to perform) by the next day. This went on for two weeks.
So of course all the composers were bitching about their software glitches (this was back when Encore was still the industry standard and most of us had that--some of us still do, LOL), and comparing different release versions, etc. Except for this one guy who was (insanely, considering the time crunches) hand notating everything by pencil.
So we were in our peer review group one morning, and the computer people were all bitching about their software (as usual). At which point I turned to John, the by-hand notator and asked:
"John, are you still using a Number 2 pencil? You know, they've released an upgrade to 2.5."
Semi-hilarity ensued. ;D
-
We could all meet in Portland to see MBarnum and JMK.
Jane, I am begining to think that you are wanted by the authorities in Washington state.
-
Have a wonderful trip DRGINNY and DHRICHARD!!!
And a safe trip north for DRJOSE as well.
-
After the movie I drove Taylor to Tigard and we visited the India Import store...Taylor was very popular with the two Hindu gals who worked there...they were dressed in beautiful sari's...and Taylor was quite take with all the bangles and jewelry so the younger shopkeeper helped Taylor pick out some lovely gold (colored) bangles/bracelets...6 in all, which made a lovely jingling sound, Taylor discovered. We also bought some imported India sweets and a shiny, colorful, dangly thing that Taylor spotted hanging from the ceiling.
I looked at some of the very fancy, expensive kurtas..the kind you would wear to a festival or a wedding...had to leave though, as I knew I could not afford such a purchase at this time...even though they were willing to give me a price break. Sweet ladies! I will have to go back there some time.
-
Bruce Kimmel brunching with The Bride of Frankenstein....I am intrigued.
DRCP - what show did you do with Miss Nancy Kulp? Did you know she was in the military service in WWII? She could also play a mean piano and sing better than you might imagine! AND she was a friend of Miss Allison Hayes.

Has there been any word of any of these places relocating elsewhere in the city or are all their owners folding their tents and moving south?
-
No package yet JRand55? I knew I should have sent it priority....I can't believe it is taking so long!

Every time DRJOSE mentions the Tidal Basin, I am reminded of Miss Fanne Foxe and Senator Wilbur Mills!!
Ah yes - those were the days! ;D

Nope MB, nothing yet - an NO mail tomorrow. Maybe it will get here Tuesday with my Kurta!

Ok, tomorrow is a holiday so tonight is another Bollywood movie..
APNE HUYE PARAYE (1964) starring the ever handsome Manoj Kumar and the always lovely Mala Sinha.
I believe this one is a murder mystery! With singing and dancing, of course.

I was looking around EBAY - waiting for the remastered OBC SWEENEY TODD cd to be released, and saw the two album set with a libretto for 1.99....I bid and won!! At least the print will be BIGGER!!!

Oh, and I see I won an ebay auction...that makes me quite happy!

Yea...uh...mine, too....someone told me about it!!!

TCB have you forgotten we plan to visit Washington in July? Sorry to ruin your joke. :o

'night.

I also just bid on a FOCUS magazine that has a photo of Allison in it. Probably one of the Universal publicity photos we've seen, but time will tell. ;D

Cillaliz good packing vibes! I hate to pack.
Might Nilla have a gum disease? How is his weight?
Oh he's fat as ever. He has had a strange tooth disease that cats get where their teeth rot from the inside out and show no signs until it's too late. At that point he usually quits eating. He is still eating, but is acting a bit strange so I looked and his gum is very inflamed. I'm going to see if I can get him into the vet tomorrow. They both need their shots and I have the day off, so hopefully I can get an appointment
-
Wonder what Zach Kauffman would have to say about the FRENCH fashion show?
-
JMK we are both descended from a Lord which would make us Lady Jane’s, thankfully not Lady Jane Grey.
There are so many good movies out right now. Today we opted for BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.
I had an ancestor who was beheaded for messing around with Lady Jane Grey
-
Glad the packing is going so well, DRCILLALIZ. We must have a picture of the whiskey cases sitting around the living room.
-
Interesting DRCILLALIZ - I am descended from Henry the Black, Duke of Bavaria and King of Germany....these Mayflower floaters are pikers!
-
I had an ancestor who was beheaded for messing around with Lady Jane Grey
Necrophiliac? ;D
-
My family ended up in Appalachia by around 1803, but I suspect they were deported from England for thievery, knavery, pillage, and rape. I doubt they sailed on the Mayflower.
Okay. Time to crash. I have a trip to Toyland first thing tomorrow morning.
-
I think I will watch a movie now. MR BK must have been hijacked by an audience member OR the cast!
Or maybe he's working some notes!
-
Well i am going to toddle off to visit with the noble Vixdad.
Keep Warm Vibe to MBarnum and pussy
Ear Healing Vibes to Fletcher
Safe Travel Vibes to Jose and Ginny & Richard
Continued Health Vibes to dear Danise
Librarian Vibes for Jed

Another of mine - probably friends of your ancestors, DRELMORE - was arrested and sentenced to hang for stealing a horse, the rope broke and he was set free.....they called him Horseneck. Of course he went right out within a couple of months and stole another horse. This time the rope DIDN'T break. :P
-
Save some VIBES for yourself DR VIXMOM.

I wonder when we will get the matinee report.....
I am curious also and hope it was a good run today

Just a comment about Encore... I LOVE Encore!!! I've tried Allegro and NotePad, but I love Encore. I just hope they continue with their updates!

I had an ancestor who was beheaded for messing around with Lady Jane Grey
Interesting... My Scots-Irish ancestors were kicked out....My 3xg-grandmother's brother was a bit of a randy lad and they left after the local plantation owner placed a priced on his head for putting hsi daughter in the family way.
-
I am curious also and hope it was a good run today
Wasn't BK heading to Lawry's for dinner after the matinee?
-
Interesting DRCILLALIZ - I am descended from Henry the Black, Duke of Bavaria and King of Germany....these Mayflower floaters are pikers!
Well we think we have a Mayflower ancestor too, it's family lore, but there is a generation gap we just can't seem to fill. We do have the Forsyths traced back to 1600 and something in Midlothian Scotland. The came to New Jersey in...I want to say the 1690s but for some reason 1734 is ringing bells. I haven't looked at it in a long time.
Another ancestor is Thomas Macy...he was the original man from Nantuckett!
-
Necrophiliac? ;D
No she was quite alive at the time, at least that's the story
-
Interesting DRCILLALIZ - I am descended from Henry the Black, Duke of Bavaria and King of Germany....these Mayflower floaters are pikers!
Interesting... I have a Civil War ancestor who was injured in a very interesting place at the battle of Pleasant Hill.
My German ancestors come from the Rheinland, Baden-Wuertemberg, Hesse-Cassel, Westphalia, Pommern, and the Sudetenland
-
Glad the packing is going so well, DRCILLALIZ. We must have a picture of the whiskey cases sitting around the living room.
Well, it's started anyway. I really hate packing, but it is good to look at everything I have. I've only tossed about 1 garbage bag full so far, I'm sure there will be more.
My best news was when I went online to check out changing my phone service through Qwest and learned that I can keep my same phone number. That was very exciting. Of course they don't guarantee it, but I'm really hoping. It's bad enough to change addresses, but the phone to is a pain. Of course my cell won't change, but that's another story
-
Good travel Vibes to Ginny and DH Richard - I'll be thinking of you at the Comfort Inn. Also good travel vibes to Jose. Good roof vibes to Vixmom, and good heath vibes to everyone

I have heard the same rumour.. It has been a strange winter. We have had a fair amount of snow but it has been mild...
-
Good travel Vibes to Ginny and DH Richard - I'll be thinking of you at the Comfort Inn.
Thanks, DR Cillaliz - packing vibes to you! I started to wish you a snow day tomorrow, but it's a holiday, so you have the day off anyway, huh?
-
Great night of TV. '24' was as jaw-dropping and riveting as promised, and I loved every minute of it.
During the second hour, the head FBI agent turned out to be Matt Battaglia, an actor I'm sure DR MBarnum would be interested to know is still working. It didn't appear that the role would be recurring, but I'll keep you posted as another two hours of the show come on tomorrow night. Can't wait!
-
Yep, that's Jane Russell in one of her costumes from THE FRENCH LINE.
THE FRENCH LINE was the 3-D musical that NO ONE talks much about. Of coruse, to be fair, it wasn't in the same class as KISS ME KATE.
-

CROSSING JORDAN had a couple of interesting cases. One concerned a body part pulled from the insides of a shark. Another had Dr. Macy's DUI arrest causing his testimony in a case to be questioned. And then, there's Jordan's involvements with Detective Woody and Reporter Pollack.
-
DR Tomovoz, is Charles Mesure a famous or highly regarded actor in Australia? He's been wonderful as Jordan's hunky boy friend on CROSSING JORDAN this season.
-
While waiting for '24' to come on (the football game ran long on Fox), I watched five or ten minutes of THE GREEN PASTURES. Have no opinions about it yet.
-
Thanks, DR Cillaliz - packing vibes to you! I started to wish you a snow day tomorrow, but it's a holiday, so you have the day off anyway, huh?
Yup! I'll be packing, meeting with the mover to get an estimate. hopefully taking the cats to the vet and then sitting back for dinner and the Golden Globes!
-
Ok, I have to confess I'm very excited because the National Championship Dog Show is replaying on Animal Planet. I know I'm a cat person, but I'm a sucker for dog shows. The cats watch with me, but they really aren't that interested
-
Oh, yes, I had seen that Matt Battaglia was going to be on 24. I forgot all about it, however!
You just never know where he will pop up!
-
Well I decided to quit Netflix. I just don't watch DVDs very often. I tend to go to the theatre or run to blockbuster when there is something I really want to see, but missed. However that's only about once a month at most. So, I may have to find a rental place that has Bollywood.
I went to Blockbuster tonight to see if they had the Constant Gardner and Hustle and Flow. Totally sold out. I went to the little place around the corner and they hadn't gotten around to putting them on the shelf yet, so the clerk got them out of the box and gave them to me. And it was cheaper than Blockbuster.

Guess I'll head down for bed now.
Good evening, everyone!

Time for the terriers! Laters

Yes, TCB, Manoj Kumar was quite the hottie...although he did get a bit thick around the middle later after he hit stardom...guess that happens when you are no longer a starving Bollywood actor! LOL!
And of course he starred in one of my favorite Bollywood film GUMNAAM!

...and he will turn 69 this July...so still a bit young for me! ;D

While waiting for '24' to come on (the football game ran long on Fox), I watched five or ten minutes of THE GREEN PASTURES. Have no opinions about it yet.
Matt, THE GREEN PASTURES is another film, like SONG OF THE SOUTH, that has suffered the effects of political correctness. If you can try to remember the status of black Americans in the 30s, both in film and on Broadway; the movie can actually be thought of as quite an achievement that it was even made. I saw the film on television several times when I was growing up, and I always enjoyed it as a heart-felt, and often humorous rual retelling of The Bible. Now days, the idea of this type of film being made would be impossible, but I think if you look at it as a historical document of the times it was made, it ican be a very enjoyable movie.

Mike, which Bollywood film is the remake of TEN LITTLE INDIANS? And which movie was the one you told me that has kind of an obscene sounding title?

Finally back from the matinee, which was very good, and an incredibly heavy meal at Lawry's, The Prime Rib, about which more later in the notes. I must now go sit on my couch like so much fish as I cannot move.
-
BK, glad to hear the matinee went well....
Onward and upward!

Good Morning!
Greetings from New York City!
-New York City?!?!?
;)
The drive up from DC was uneventful and actually kind of nice. I decided to listen to the radio all the way up instead of plugging in my portable CD player. It was fun. Found some great stations out of Philadelphia, and I had a rockin' good time as I travelled the NJ Turnpike.
Oh! And I guess it did snow in New York City sometime in the recent past.
:)
-
...And I only had to drive around the block twice before I found a space on the street to park my car... Now I just have to search out some info on the web to see if the alternate side of the street parking/cleaning is "off" tomorrow due to the holiday...
-
...And once I got into my apartment, I found some Christmas cards waiting for me - including one from DR Ginny - Thank You! - as well as my Local 802 membership materials! :)
OH! And the heat in this apartment works very well. -It's a bit "cool" outside right now.
;)
-
Well, I shall have to catch up on the rest of today's posts sometime "tomorrow" and/or in the morning... I need to get my self settled back in here and then get some sleep.
Laters... and/or Goodnight.
-
YEAH!
I don't have to get up "early" to move my car! The Alternate Side Parking regulations are suspended tomorrow for Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday.
*"Early" would be by 9:00... But I actually think I'll be up anyway by then. Whatever... ::)
**And who knew the New York City Government observed so many holidays?

JMK we are both descended from a Lord which would make us Lady Jane’s, thankfully not Lady Jane Grey.
There are so many good movies out right now. Today we opted for BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.
I saw this tonight at the 7:20 showing. I got there at about 6:40 and was the third person in the theater. I saved a seat for my friend Margo, who was going to meet me there. Margo got to the theater at about 7:15 and the place was packed! I'm glad that I got there early and saved a seat, because there were hardly any available! Anyway, we both loved the movie! It was so sad, though. They both aged very well and were very, very, very (that's three verys) good. Highly recommended. Not much of a review, but I don't want to give anything away. :)
-
We could all meet in Portland to see MBarnum and JMK.
Count me in!! ;D
-
Well... I'm all caught up, and it looks like BK is still sitting on his couch like so much fish, so...
;)
-
DR Jane - I only called See's to ask if there was indeed a Dark Chocolate California Brittle piece... I did not order any more candy. ;)
-Besides, now that I'm back in the city for the day, there's Chocolate Bar, Li-Lac, the Hershey Store...
;D
-
DR Rodzinski - As for the Seahawks win over the Redskins... Well... I was just glad that the game ended before the Overture began.
;D
