I came home yesterday after only two hours of work, having chills, aches and pains, and feeling dizzier than usual. I have slept all but about two hours since then.
Got up this morning, and I actually feel worse than yesterday, so it is back-to-bed time. Who started this virus? I blame DR CP.

Hey, Vixmom - about Jane and Keith's wedding photos... I'm wit' you: I would LOVE to see summa those, too. Keith has most of their bazillion photos from their entire life together done up in lotsa souvenir albums, each one of which is a work of art. At some point, he really should have a gallery showing of the best of these creations...
And since I am all alone I will go wash my oatmeal bowl and begin the work day.
Oh, before I forget, Jose are you and Jason attending The Bad Seed at Chelsea on Thursday? And any other New York Readers, if you see this and want to come, fee free. Mr. Moore, Mr. Nondorf and Antonio, Joy, it's a classic camp movie, The Bad Seed with Nancy Kelly and Patty McCormack about a charming little murderess and should be a hoot. The ending of the movie was changed by censors (it's from 1956) to ensure that society would not be hurt by the sight of a youngster getting away with murder. You may even win a prize if you attend. Last week Jason won tickets to a show at the Public. It's $6 for the ticket and pre-show with Hedda Lettuce and the show starts at 7pm. It's at Chelsea Cinemas on the corner of 8th Avenue and 23rd Street across from Crispy Creme Donuts and next to East of Eighth restaurant.
I had read somewhere that Jackman was interested in reviving PAL JOEY, but honestly, I don't see how it could happen with his film commitments and that tour of THE BOY FROM OZ in Australia.

And the Krispy Kreme in Chelsea on 23rd closed a little while back. -And I believe that was the first Krispy Kreme location to open in NYC. Now there's just Penn Station and the East Side.
May throw my car into the deal. What's it gonna cost me to finally be completely SEPARATED from that little so and so....
I called in some votes for Katharine last night. Her line was not busy. I still think she has the best voice of the women (but Paris isn't far behind and neither is Mandisa).

I know this is a "sore" subject for some DRs here, but I also have great love/admiration/respect for Bob Fosse's "Cabaret".
I know it's not "like" the Broadway musical, but it's a brilliant film, IMO.

Costco?? You don't even need a receipt to return something to Costco! They have a totally-no-hassle return policy. Just take it back with your card and they'll just give you your money back. Easy as pie! My friend Margo took back a lawnmower that didn't work TWO YEARS after she bought it! She had to renew her membership, but they took it back. ;D

I'm curious to know what everybody thought. I loved it. And have some favorites.
As the teams were being introduced last night, I was shaking my head because it seemed to me that there were clear Alpha teams (the frat boys, Ken and Barbie, the dentists and the lawyers) with all the rest as easily eliminated fodder. But as the show went on, it became a constant upset as teams gained and lost ground. Except for the frat boys, I was surprised by the other top finishers. This should be an interesting race.
No one has particularly grabbed my fancy yet. I don't mind the frat boys, the hippies and the nerds. Definitely don't like the old folks, the dentists and the Glamazons.
And as for the losers, all I can say is (in my best Simpsons' Comic Book Guy voice): Worst...gay...couple...ever!

I've always wanted to play C.C. Baxter in Promises, Promises.
I've done the layback, I've delivered to Disney, and I've invoiced. The CD master for the STAGE benefit recording is at the pressing plant and the booklet stuff should be there in the morning and we seem to be on track. They are asking me to take producer credit and I'm of mixed feelings about that, since I didn't actually make the recording. However, since it's "live" there really isn't anything to producing the "live" part of it - the producing is in post-production and the mix, which is what I've done. What think you?

Re LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC casting - Does anyone here on HHW have a PhD? Given Petra's vocabulary, one would have to at least be Phi Beta Kappa to do justice to "Miller's Son" :)

DVD-R and DVD+R differ in the way the data is encoded onto the disc when recording. I can't give specifics of the encoding process, but though most new players can play both types, DVD-R is more compatible with a wider array of players old and new.
Not every DVD recorder can record both types (or the other types either).

Maybe she could get away with a fake birth certificate but how on earth could she tell the woman the baby died, there must have been other people in the room with the doctor, at least one nurse.

LOL! I know what you mean. But I'm hitting a busy spell. Are the stars and planets doing something wierd? Deals are falling apart and people are very difficult to work with all of a sudden. I don't really mind, it makes work interesting, but it makes it difficult to get away from the office
