Hey, it did it again today! Is there a time limit for posting here at HHW? I logged on, had been posting and then all of the sudden I'm listed as a guest again, even though my name is still showing on the list of viewers line. So I logged back in again and now I'm Miss Karen again, and not "Hey Guest" ... What's the deal, Lucille? Or BK? Or any DR?
You shouldn't be "timed" when posting - there's something off but I don't think it's anything to do with the board. Have you checked the "always keep me logged in" box (or whatever it's called?
Karen, at the bottom of the
home page (when you're logged out), there are two ways to log in. One has the option to specify the number of "
Minutes to stay logged in: and a check box that says, as BK said, "
Always stay logged in:But below that, there are some boxes labeled, "
Login with username, password and session length" and a drop-down box to specify the session length as 1 Hour, 1 Day, 1 Week, 1 Month or Forever. That's where I always sign in and I choose "Forever." Then, I never sign out...I just close my browser when I'm done. I have my own computer at home and at work, so I don't need to worry about anyone else signing in as me.
When I come back to HHW, I don't have to log back in again.
