...Washington Square Park for a bit - oh, and getting my hair cut too! -

Barbers in the park - how Renaissance Fair.

Well, I actually stopped into my old standby, Chelsea Barbers, to get my haircut.  Alas, since the last time I had been there, their price for a haircut had gone up another $10.  Their last price increases had been in $5 increments.  This $10 one sort of caught me off guard. Ah, well. :-\

...(they still have to get and interpret the "code" from the computer in my car to find out why the "Service Engine Soon" light came on), it'll really hurt. :-\

Think positive thoughts - the last time my Service light came on it was a clogged pollution control valve that cost less than $50 to fix.

On the other hand - have you checked with your credit union on rates for new car loans?

YIKES! I pay $14 for the cut, $4 for the beard trim and tip $4.

Well...I'm also hoping that that won't be necessary for quite some time.

Back after a very long evening.  The reading itself was two hours but then everyone was asked for their input, and then I was asked to stay after that to really have a detailed conversation.  Then when I got home I had to finish proofing so I'd be ready to talk in the morning.

Well, I hate to do it (no, really...I do!), but I must go to bed.  I'm cold, I'm tired and I have to walk to work in the morning...and it's supposed to be cold tomorrow, as well.

Good night, all!
