Back from the party, which was, for me, excruciating (I don't like these sorts of things - too many people), save for seeing some nice people I know - including Amanda McBroom (she's going to come and do a Kritzerland evening soon), Michelle Brourman, Adryan Russ, David Zippel and others.  They had a performance - I left an hour into it as I had to meet Melody and family for dinner - but I would have left anyway.  Very little traditional musical theater songs in that first hour - mostly faux rock stuff, from shows that are workshopping - just not my thing.  Biggest amusement to me was when someone listed all the hits of Diane Warren (she was there - a duo sang two of her songs) - I hadn't heard of a single one, which shows you how much I know.

Had dinner at Mo's and ate way too much food - my splurge meal o' the week and tomorrow it's back to small meals again.
