I love the Johnny Rocket's in Hoboken.

The other one I've been to, in Atlantic City, was a little less exciting, IIRC.

Johnny Rockets didn't make it here. There was one on the River Walk, but it didn't attract enough business, and one bite of the burgers could tell you why. There is one left in town, but it's part of an amusement park.

One of the cruise lines, possibly Royal Caribbean, has Johnny Rockets on all of their new ships.

Tell us your impressions, DR George!

Well, I ordered the Breakfast Burrito with bacon (you can get just about everything with bacon, sausage or steak), the A.M. Grilled Taco with bacon and the Sausage Flatbread Wrap, but I couldn't get the Breakfast Burrito because they ran out of eggs.  They had enough for the A.M. Grilled Taco, and the Sausage Flatbread Wrap doesn't have eggs.  Since I already paid, I got a regular Burrito Supreme from their lunch menu, instead.  However, they also gave me a coupon for ANY burrito as an apology!  Good enough for me!  Next time, I'll get there earlier than 10:50 (they stop serving breakfast at 11:00).

As for the actual quality, the Sausage Flatbread Wrap was a little dry and didn't have much flavor (not bad, just too subtle). The A.M. Grilled Taco just had the bacon bits thrown in after it was warmed up and a lot fell out when I started to eat it.  They should either be cooked in the taco, or something else needs to be added to hold them in without falling out.  A swipe of sour cream would be good.  I really like the concept of them.  I like breakfast foods, and I like burrito foods, so I'll give them another chance.  I will go earlier, though.  That should make a difference...at least, as far as them running out of eggs. ;)

There was a Johnny Rockets at the Capitol Mall on the west side of Olympia.  It, too, didn't last very long.  You'd think that a restaurant in a mall right next to the movie theaters would be able to stay in business for more than a couple of years, but not this one. :-\

I only went a couple of times.  I don't remember much about it, but I know that I didn't love it.

Just one more on the way to page 3:

I love chatter in the evening
I love chatter late at night
I love chatter that's at lunch time when it's sunny
I love chatter over dinner when it's funny

I love chatter in the morning
Every morning of the year
I love chatter, I tell you, Cole, that I love chatter
But please don't chat right here

I did enjoy the garden show.  Gave me some good ideas and I signed up with Earl May to have them come and give me an estimate on landscaping.   I'm in desperate need of landscaping.  I may contact a couple other nurseries too and see what they think.

Plant milkweed!!!

The wedding last night was fabulous!  Maybe someone who's on Facebook could post here the photos I'm sharing there, hmm?

We spent our pre-train time today at a casual brunch at the lovely home of the parents of the bride.  Richard and I were so honored to be included in so many of the extra gatherings.

Congrats, Ginny!  And great photos!

I love this Unique Forum.  I like it miles better than the non-Unique Facebook forum :)  Then again, we've been around a lot longer.  Anyone remember something called MySpace?

I shall now share with you my favorite lyric from a Fred Rogers song.

[clears throat]

TREE, TREE, TREE,
TREE, TREE, TREE,
TREE, TREE, TREE,
TREE, TREE, TREE.

I LOVE YOU,
YES, I DO.
YES, I DO,
I LOVE YOU.

 ;D

Possible Replies:

A) Fred must have been in his minimalist/Cage stage when he penned that ditty.
B) Gee, I guess that means his bark is worse than his bite.
