To our surprise we can see fireworks from our place,  we finally went outside to watch, and hear, them from our back patio.  Some we could see from this side of the river while most of them were on the Portland side.

I don't remember if I mentioned yesterday, but Sandy has cancelled lunch tomorrow.  He is home from the hospital, but not feeling very good.

I'm recording the TCM broadcast of "1776" for my dad.  It's the original theatrical version without all the previously cut material.  He doesn't like the longer version(s)...for whatever reason.
