It's Kismet so all Borodin as adapted by Wright and Forrest - I can't find any other Percy does Borodin album.

I have the Percy Faith Kismet album - uploading it now.

It's been years since I played the vinyl. Is it only Borodin?

No, I think he actually owns it.  (bad pun, sorry)

vixmom - your Sound of Music parody was excellent.

And especially clever in that it took four posts and got us to page 7 quicker.

I'm watching a motion picture on the Flix of Net, whilst hearing the thunder of fireworks.  If the two monstrosities that call themselves houses had not been built I would have a completely clear view of the entire show as it's more north than usual.  THEY. of course, have the clear view - JERKS.

Have you ever heard of The New American Theatre (formerly Circus Theatricals) in LA.  The have a contest going:
HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE GUIDELINES ALERT:
**The New American Theatre reserves the right to not choose any entries for production, without a refund.
And then this pair of Catch 22 guidelines:
**By submitting a script and paying the entrance fee, it is assumed that the playwright agrees to the festival guidelines.
**The New American Theatre reserves the right to change the rules of the festival at any time.

Linda now seems to be taking the lead on the housing situation. She was going to talk with a real estate agent about what they might get for the house, which needs work. I hope it works. My mom is usually opposed to such things and might have a fit when it happens.

Linda also forced Mom to realize that Dad and she would likely have to leave Louisville when the house is sold, a move that really saddened Mom. But Mom did agree that they don't have many friends left, so they would do best to go to Lexington, San Antonio or Richmond, where one of their kids lives. She chose Richmond. Honestly, I don't think my dad cares, though he was sad to see his car go.

It is sad about your mother's anger.  Good vibes selling the house and moving goes well.  Is your mother able to help your father keep track of his sugar levels?

My mother doesn't really understand them. Linda is also a diabetic and she'll be there for two or three more weeks. I think she might help. At least I hope so.

Best wishes she can help.

At least, I don't live in the city that my sister lives in.  Fireworks are legal from 7:00 a.m. and Midnight on July 4, and their next door neighbor was shooting fireworks NON-STOP the entire time I was there.

Nicky had to leave the bedroom because the noise was too much for him.

The noise is decreasing outside to a dull roar.

I wish I was there DR George sounds exciting.

I doubt that JP Patches will show up for the parade.  He died a few years ago.

TOD - 43 years ago today, Middletown celebrated The Bicentennial with a huge parade that ended at our new city building.  Our theatre group had a float for which DR Elmore designed and constructed fabulous costumes, including a bustle dress that I wish I still had (and could still wear...).

Great photo, Ginny!
